-What made me like them

LITERALLY EVERYTHING ABOUT KIRBY. His cheery attitude, cuteness, ability...everything!! On a more serious note, however, what made me love Kirby is the fact that, regardless of what he does, he’s always managed to cheer me up! To me, he’s like a lil’ spark of light, Kirby’s actually helped me in my darkest times. I mean look at him, how can anyone be sad when he’s being his usual self? [ Yeah, he’s my definite comfort character ;w; ]

I also like how he’s able to forgive some antagonists (case in point: Magolor and the Squeaks) and be friends with them! It proves that, despite any misdeed that comes to Pop Star, Kirby still has a good heart.

-My favorite thing(s) about them

The Copy Ability! I love how it’s become a wild card over time [ by this I’m referring to fan art that has Kirby copying characters outside of S/mash ], and the hats that come with them?? Cuteness overload right there!! My definite favorite hats are Sleep, Artist, and Mirror! [ for those wondering my favorite Copy Ability of all time is Parasol!!! ]

Every time he says “poyo”! It’s like music to my ears, y’know? If I’m sad but I hear a “poyo”, my mood’s instantly better~

Lastly but not least, I also love how he’s just a tiny Star Warrior, but his main threats are these cyclops abominations [ well, most of them anyway lol ]. Not only does it prove that you really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, it proves that Kirby’s pretty much a god at this point. [ He’s beaten up said abominations, false gods, a scary jester, a four-headed dragon, etc... ]

I tend to refer to Kirby as “puffball homie” or “Kirbo”!

Kirby likes to call me, in his language, “popoyo” [ which translates to, “Pwucky”! ]

-A headcanon of our relationship/friendship

Kirby sometimes perches himself on my shoulder! In a few cases he’s also swiped my hat, lol.

Kirby and I are best friends for life so there’s nary a thing we don’t know about each other!

There’s a huge watermelon? Kirby splits it up and shares a slice with me!

fun facts about both Kirby korb and the series:

Kirby’s original name was Popopo and the series was called “Twinkle Popo”! His name was changed to “Kirby” because of a lawyer [ John Kirby ] saving Nintendo from a lawsuit.

At one point, Kirby’s color scheme wasn’t finalized yet. While Masahiro Sakurai wanted Kirby to be pink, Shigeru Miyamoto wanted him to be yellow. Nintendo settled on pink because they figured it’d be more appealing. The yellow Kirby ended up being a character named “Keeby”!

One of the older games, Kirby’s Dream Land 3, was rated E10 because the final boss had a bleeding eyeball. [ creepy right? ]

I also have this random HC that he’d get along with all my F/Os!! I think he and my C/ookie R/un F/Os would be great friends~!!
