hihihi gang it's the lit student again and i have a thesis due next week but i'm gonna take my sweet time rambling about artem bc i looked up the rest of his cards out of curiosity (in light of the recent summer splash card hate train DHSKDJSK) and,, writing aside i couldn't help but notice how artem's gaze is so consistently tender towards rosa in his cards' art it reminds me of when he said in (i think) his fuzzy fluffy time card that his feelings for her will always be as sincere as the first time and i— 🥹💔

plus since there are the "au" cards (the latest gufeng cards, enduring light, bakerlon) it's kinda like showing how his love for her transcends time and space especially since their relationship is also tied to soulmates destined by fate trope (entwined fate, paired blessings, not sure if it has anything to do with the plot but the latest gufeng card has wishing tags in the trees in the card art sooo‼️ but also the small piece of symbolism from his rrg card where he ties the string to their wrists reminded me of the string of fate hnfff),,,, something something i'll love you in every universe

HI!!! oh my gosh you are literally. SO fucking right. i would compile a bunch of art where he makes The Soft Gaze but i could just as easily tell people to go look at artem's card list bc that's the case for like. 90% of his cards it makes me SO UNWELL. even in the ones where he has a more neutral expression, the card story ALWAYS has a gentle version (por una cabeza and loving memories 100% come to mind) and it makes me INSAAANE

oh my god it's wild that you mentioned all of this, i have written meta in the past about artemrosa and the red string of fate. hold on lemme grab em. disclaimer that they are VERY outdated and primarily from 2021 when a majority of artem's cards still weren't out, but i think the general spirit still applies :)
