with utmost honesty and all due respect , bill hates this development. the push for public notoriety posed an insane risk for him and all other vampires. humans are some of the most unforgiving creatures to live and the fear they harbor makes his existence a struggle. of course he can defend himself , but he doesn't want to have to. he just wants a normal life , and that ideal was much easier to procure when his kind wasn't exposed for who they are.

trying to find home. which was initially why he came to mystic falls , his origins still remain in bon tempts which he tried to settle in his little home town but something was missing. a little too simple for his tastes. it lacked the feeling of home , with a handful of skeletons lingering in his closet it settled as more of a reminder of the pain he's suffered.

— what goals / aspirations does your muse currently hold ?

bill's goal with mainstreaming is just to live a simple life , a little while in the 1938 - when he left lorena - he'd visited mystic falls on business and something about the scenery and the people seemed to captivate him. this is where he plans to make his home and live a ( hopefully ) peaceful & comfortable life.

— what important canonic alterations have you made for your muse ?

the biggest change as of right now is that bill is a bit of a ripper. this makes him extremely cautious of his relations with humans and witches alike. dear lord , and we will see what happens with fae.

— what are some plotlines you would like to see for your muse ? what connections are on your wishlist for them ?

literally give this man all the drama and angst. thrust him into it. it's none of his business ? make it his business.

i really want him to have a connection with a witch that he is extremely gracious too and holds a good relationship with. perhaps they help him with a daylight ring so he can feel the sun on his skin after years of being ensnared by the darkness of night time. this relationship would be probably pretty wholesome.

bill seems simple but he's not. he struggles with his true nature and controlling his urges to the point where it hurts. he hates true blood , he hates animal blood , he wants his meals from the vein. but he forces himself take what he needs. he craves normalcy so much that he aches because of it. he's passionate and compassionate and cares so deeply. but he's not afraid to use force where needed. bill likes to think of himself as a pacifist. his overall good nature is admirable especially with his struggles - on the other hand that can be mind numbing.

katherine has mixed feelings about vampires revealing their existence. on one hand, she sees the potential for power and influence in a world where vampires no longer have to hide. it gives her new avenues to manipulate humans and other supernaturals alike. operating without secrecy allows her to play the political game with greater ease and establish herself as a key player in the vampire community, given her royal blood and her position as vampire queen of virginia. on the other hand, she views the entire concept with disdain. katherine doesn’t believe in the coexistence narrative the league preaches. in her mind, humans are always going to fear vampires, and vampires will always use humans as pawns. the idea of vampires asking for rights feels like weakness to her, but she plays along because the mainstreaming movement offers her a chance to rebuild her empire under a new guise. this change has forced her to adjust her strategies. no longer confined to the shadows, katherine is now navigating public perception and balancing her old methods of manipulation with a polished, diplomatic facade. aligning herself with the league ensures she stays relevant while giving her access to their resources and connections.

my favorite quality is katherine’s survival instincts. no matter how many times she’s knocked down, she always finds a way to claw her way back to the top. her ability to adapt and thrive in any situation is endlessly fascinating. my least favorite quality is her inability to let go of her pride, even when it jeopardizes her survival. katherine’s insistence on maintaining control and never appearing weak often makes her own life more difficult.

there's confliction that brews within elena that keeps her torn. a lingering fear for the safety of her loved ones is a constant thought living in the back of her head. however , the human faerie girl remains torn with the idea that vampires aren't receiving proper rights or treatment, that there are communities that rally against these once humans. she can't imagine that all vampires are bad. like all things in the world , there's good and bad everywhere.

— what was your muse up to prior to the news ?

continuing her mourning process , recollecting old pieces of herself that were lost after the death of her parents. healing from the deep seeded survivors guilt that continues to plague her and reconciling the relationships that she seems to have left barren in the wake of her grieving. it's been months since her loss. it was time to get back to living life again. pushing herself into her studies and finding time for her loved ones again. reconnecting with the person she used to be.

frankly ? to get through the day. become the person she strives to be and take control of her life. she just want to feel normal again. go to school and be a normal person.

elena is in college , majoring in creative writing with a minor of applied behavioral analysis. she lives in a house just on the outskirts of campus grounds with her roommate and bestie jackie matlin. the biggest thing is elena tends to be a little more raw with her emotions. loves deeply and sees the world in a rather optimistic light. her altruism tends to extend past canon. lil more babie than in canon , i don't know how else to describe it.

-strengthen her friendships as whole , actually taking time to have friendship threads because i'm a SUCKER for them. -find out her family lineage with a.) being a doppelganger and b.) being a fae. it might be interesting if someone with vested interest in daylight jewelry catches on and mayhaps tries to gain trust for her blood to be used to make the jewelry. or they just sorta take it from her , yano whatever works. tbh at this point her blood is a freakin' gold mine. -someone who will make elena question her moral alignment , kind of crave her being a little less good. -possible situationship ? -SOULMATES ?? elena doesn't give up on people , she really doesn't. no matter literally how horrible they are to her - she does not give up on anyone. her determination to see good in all things is so intense. even if she knows things aren't healthy for her , she will stick it out. it's almost admirable. it's also one of the few things that go both ways for me as the mun. sometimes i find it to be so aggravating. like girl , why are we doing this?? detach bestie. she just loves to deeply , so intensely. she's loyal until she no longer breathes.

On one hand, it’s entertaining to watch humans scramble to process the idea of creatures like him being real, but on the other, it complicates his life. Klaus thrives in the shadows, manipulating events from the sidelines, and the increased attention on vampires makes it harder to move unnoticed. He views the mainstreaming of vampires as a threat to the delicate balance he’s carefully maintained over centuries. The Originals have always existed as legends, not public figures, and he’s in no hurry to change that.

Before the news broke, Klaus was deeply entrenched in his usual pursuits: scheming, creating chaos for his enemies, and obsessively protecting his family. He was likely moving through cities under various aliases, leaving a trail of power plays and destruction in his wake. Always on the hunt for power, always on the run from boredom. The announcement only added another layer of intrigue to his machinations.

However, his ambitions are still steeped in power and control; he wants to ensure that no one—human, vampire, or otherwise—can ever threaten him or his family again.

Klaus’s obsession with control and his violent tendencies are still intact, but there’s an added layer of introspection to his character. He’s more aware of the destructive cycles he perpetuates, and while he doesn’t necessarily stop himself, he’s starting to question if there’s more to life than survival and dominance. Additionally, he’s slightly less impulsive and more strategic, recognizing the value of long-term alliances—even if he’ll eventually betray them.

— What are some plotlines you would like to see for your muse? What connections are on your wishlist for them?

I’d love to see Klaus tangled up in the politics of the “out-of-the-coffin” world—maybe vampires or humans attempt to recruit him for their agenda, not realizing the hornet’s nest they’re kicking. It would also be interesting to explore connections with vampires who reject traditional hierarchies or seek Klaus out as a mentor or even a . And, of course, old enemies or allies resurfacing, forcing him to reckon with the consequences of his centuries of chaos. As for connections, I’m looking for characters who can challenge Klaus on an intellectual and emotional level. Maybe someone who sees through his bravado, or someone just as manipulative and dangerous as he is. Also, connections with humans who intrigue him—either because they remind him of his humanity or because they challenge the way he views the world.

— What is one of your favorite qualities of your muse? On the other side of things, is there anything about your muse that irks you?

One of my favorite qualities about Klaus is his complexity. He’s ruthless and manipulative, but underneath all of that is a vulnerability he’s constantly trying to bury. His devotion to his family and his fear of abandonment make him both relatable and tragic. On the flip side, what irks me is his stubbornness. Klaus gets in his own way so often because he refuses to let go of old grudges or admit when he’s wrong. It’s infuriating—but then again, it’s part of what makes him Klaus.

my favorite quality of sookie is her resilience. despite the overwhelming challenges her telepathy brings and the constant judgment she faces, she remains kind and open to the possibility of connection. her loyalty and determination to do what’s right, even when it’s hard, make her deeply compelling. what irks me about sookie is her naivete. her trusting nature can put her and those she loves in unnecessary danger. while it stems from her sheltered upbringing and kind heart, it sometimes feels frustrating to see her walk headfirst into situations that others would approach with more caution. however, this flaw also makes her growth more satisfying when she learns from her mistakes.

Deep down, her instincts are screaming at her, a primal unease that she can’t explain—something tied to the hunter abilities she’s yet to fully awaken. The announcement has only amplified her simmering anger and confusion, making her quicker to lash out at anyone who seems too accepting or naive about vampires. She doesn’t understand why, but she feels like she has a stake in this fight—and that unsettles her more than she’ll admit.

— What was your muse up to prior to the news?

Before vampires “came out of the coffin,” Tara was focused on surviving day-to-day life. She was working long hours at a dead-end job, trying to distance herself from the ghosts of her rough childhood and keep a fragile sense of stability. She spent her nights blowing off steam at Merlotte’s or picking fights with anyone who pushed her buttons. She didn’t have big plans for the future—just the stubborn determination to keep her head above water.

— What goals/aspirations does your muse currently hold?

Tara doesn’t have grand aspirations; she’s never had the luxury of dreaming big. Right now, her goals are small but vital: protect the people she loves, figure out what the hell is wrong with her, and avoid getting dragged into the chaos that seems to follow vampires wherever they go. However, as her hunter abilities begin to awaken, her instincts are starting to pull her toward something bigger—something she doesn’t fully understand yet but feels she can’t avoid forever.

— What important canonic alterations have you made for your muse?

Tara is an unawakened hunter, with latent abilities and instincts that explain her strong reaction to vampires. Her anger, impulsiveness, and sense of unease aren’t just products of her past—they’re tied to the untapped potential within her. Additionally, her connection to Sookie is deeper than friendship; her hunter instincts have always subconsciously drawn her to the supernatural, even before she realized it. This version of Tara is a little less reactive and more introspective as she begins to unravel the truth about herself.

— What are some plotlines you would like to see for your muse? What connections are on your wishlist for them?

I’d love to explore Tara’s journey toward awakening her hunter abilities—what triggers it, how she reacts, and how it changes her dynamic with the people around her. Conflict with vampires is a must, but I also want to see her questioning everything she thought she knew about good and evil. Connections with other hunters, both seasoned and unawakened, would be amazing—mentors or people who challenge her perspective. I’d also love to see someone (human or vampire) try to convince Tara that not all vampires are bad, testing her instincts and forcing her to confront her biases. And, of course, some good old-fashioned messy, volatile friendships or romantic entanglements are always on the wishlist.

One of my favorite qualities about Tara is her resilience. She’s been through hell and back, but she refuses to let life break her. Her anger and fire come from a place of deep loyalty and love for the people she cares about, and I think that’s so powerful. On the flip side, what irks me about her is her tendency to self-sabotage. She pushes people away when they get too close, thinking it’s a form of self-preservation, but it often leaves her more isolated and hurt in the end. It’s frustrating, but it’s also so her.

On the other hand, she sees a glimmer of hope that this could bring a level of accountability to vampires who’ve been operating in the shadows. That said, it hasn’t been an easy adjustment. Bonnie’s always been forced to balance the weight of her responsibilities as a witch with the chaos vampires bring into her life. This announcement only amplifies that chaos, especially as her powers continue to grow and the supernatural world becomes harder to manage.

She had no intention of stepping into the supernatural world as deeply as she has now—she just wanted to master her magic enough to keep her loved ones safe. But when vampires made themselves public, it shattered any hope of keeping her magical life separate from her personal one.

— What goals/aspirations does your muse currently hold?

Bonnie’s goals are rooted in protecting the people she loves and ensuring the balance between the supernatural and human worlds is maintained. She’s fiercely loyal to her friends, but she’s also starting to question how much of herself she’s willing to sacrifice for others. Long-term, she wants to find a way to live for herself—to have a life that isn’t solely defined by her duty as a Bennett witch. She also dreams of becoming an anthropologist, traveling the world, and exploring the magical heritage of other cultures and societies. This desire ties into her identity as a witch, as she wants to deepen her understanding of magic beyond her family’s legacy while seeing how it weaves into other traditions and histories.

One of my favorite qualities about Bonnie is her resilience. She’s incredibly selfless, but not in a way that makes her a pushover—she has a quiet strength that grows louder when it’s needed most. She’ll fight tooth and nail for the people she loves, even when it costs her everything. What irks me about her is how often she puts others first to the detriment of her own happiness. It’s a noble trait, but it’s also frustrating because it keeps her from exploring her own wants and needs. I just want her to prioritize herself sometimes and realize that she deserves as much love and care as she gives everyone else.
