3. Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

Definitely Blitz Union! Very cool stage presence, even better sound and lyrics, and as a plus they're czech and while the songs are generally in english, there are like six different versions of "Plastic" in different languages and I'm loving every version, but particularly the german one because the accent is so charming!

14. Favorite book you read this year?

Technically also already answered, but I'm taking the opportunity to talk about another one. Because I finally got around to Leslie Feinberg's Stone Butch Blues and man, that's a good book. Both to illustrate the experiences of queer generations before us, but also because so many of the feelings and issues and problems still remain the same and are still heartbreaking, and I've rarely felt this seen and understood while reading a book.

18. A memorable meal this year?

The first christmas dinner at our flat comes to mind, because that was really nice, but also the many times in summer where Ieft for work early and just sat down somewhere outside with my food and a book and took half an hour just eating and reading before my shift started, because that was very nice.

19. What’re you excited about for next year?

The ASP concert I've had tickets for since December 2020, which should finally happen in April. Also might finally get another piercing and maybe even another tattoo, if I can get off my ass and actually look for a studio.

21. What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year?

Uuuh not much, but I did get two ASP merch Blechschilder, I just need to figure out where/how to put up the second one xD also I finally took down the Harry Potter poster that was in our bathroom and had been irritating me and my brother for quite some time (because, y'know, Rowling) and instead bought and put up a Doctor Who poster!

Der Werwolf

Ein Werwolf eines Nachts entwich von Weib und Kind, und sich begab an eines Dorfschullehrers Grab und bat ihn: Bitte, beuge mich!

Der Dorfschulmeister stieg hinauf auf seines Blechschilds Messingknauf und sprach zum Wolf, der seine Pfoten geduldig kreuzte vor dem Toten:

»Der Werwolf«, – sprach der gute Mann, »des Weswolfs« – Genitiv sodann, »dem Wemwolf« – Dativ, wie man's nennt, »den Wenwolf« – damit hat's ein End'.

Dem Werwolf schmeichelten die Fälle, er rollte seine Augenbälle. Indessen, bat er, füge doch zur Einzahl auch die Mehrzahl noch!

Der Dorfschulmeister aber mußte gestehn, daß er von ihr nichts wußte. Zwar Wölfe gäb's in großer Schar, doch „Wer“ gäb's nur im Singular.

Der Wolf erhob sich tränenblind – er hatte ja doch Weib und Kind! Doch da er kein Gelehrter eben, so schied er dankend und ergeben.

A werewolf escaped one night from wife and child and went to a village teacher’s grave and asked him: “Please decline me!”

The village teacher climed up to the brass knob of his sheet metal sign and spoke to the wolf, who folded his paws patiently before the dead man:

»The who-wolf«, – spoke the good man, »the whose-wolf«, – genitive follows suit, »to the who-wolf«, – dative as it is called, »the who-wolf« – that’s the end.

The werewolf was flattered by the cases, he was rolling his eyeballs. However, he asked, add to the singular the plural.

However, the village teacher  had to admit that he didn’t know it. While there were wolves in great number, “who” existed only in singular.

The wolf got up, blind with tears – he had indeed wife and child! But since he was not a scholar he departed thankful and with devotion.
