What do you think about the trope where pred can’t sleep without full belly /prey can’t sleep outside of their chosen belly?

I love it!! It's a very cute scenario to me because sleeping inside a favorite belly can really deepen the connection between prey and pred, and I'm all for profound vore bonds! x3

Also I think it'd be lovely to see a big pred walk up to their prey in the middle of the night and ask if they could eat them, since they can't sleep 🥺😭❤️

hell yeah! love em! it does take a reassuring touch to convince prey that they are safe so they don't freak out!

and gentle preys are also very nice! especially with a nervous/shy Pred!

one of my Favorite tropes fr!

there's so many things someone could need protection/shelter from!

the cold! other creatures! their own stupidity! and depending on what kind of universe it's in many more! (like acid rain on an alien planet or something!)

and in some cases the prey cant even be told its fine! leading to some angst >:3 (which then has to be resolved :3 )

💔- the least favourite trope:

I HATE when preds consider preys as nothing but food; lack of concern about other people's feelings just drives me mad since I know what such attitude feels like too well... I can't stand intentional cruelty from nether pred nor prey - it just seems so unnatural, even disgusting to me. Especially, it feels horrible in fatal scenarious - I don't avoid fatal, but my skin starts crawling as I read about preds who tease their preys meanly after everything has happened. It's simply immoral! (I only describe my personal attitude, I don't try to insult those who like such things).

Also I'm not into unaware vore; I think the reason for it is the fact that I'd rather be a prey than a pred. This trope makes me feel very vulnerable and unprotected, particularly if a prey is a tiny. After being swallowed by a giant, you don't have good chances to be able to attract their attention which can end up really bad... And the big guy won't even know what they have done! I consider this as double cruelty.

Before I officially found out it was an actual thing, I 100% enjoyed (still do tbh hehehe) sections in animated movies&books where bigger creatures (giants, normal-sized humans if the cast had been shrunken, dragons, etc.) ate the main character(s) (or threatened them with it at least), who always managed to come out unscathed thankfully.

Then some years ago, a random quiz about vore popped up on quotev and I looked up what it was x3 and suddenly everything made much more sense lol. That's also basically how I joined Tumblr back in the day ^^

🪷: romantic vore (not sexual)

It's so so cute!! I love how vore adds brand new ways for a lover to express their affection and care towards the other 🥺❤️ such as the pred bringing their prey partner close to their belly, or the latter asking to be eaten so they can chill inside their beloved, getting even closer in the process and feeling so protected by them 🥺👉👈 aaaaaaaa it's so good!!

Also... Belly rubs. From either outside or inside, a tiny giving their lover massages is so adorable 🥺 it makes me melt when I read about it, aaaaaaa

One more thing: big smooches that accidentally lead to vore (with the prey being totally okay with it lol) make me blush ❤️ they're precious, I can't help it lol

🧛‍♂️: fictional characters as preds/preys (pirates, vampires, military men, cowboys etc.)

For already existing characters from games, shows, movies and book series, it's usually a hit or miss for me (mostly misses) 🤔 that said, it can work if I really really like the character (and by that they're granted the 'honorary vore badge', lol) or if I spot a lot of vore potential on them 👀

But if I come up with the characters myself, I have much more fun! Heck, I daily think about fantasy settings with pirates, cowboys, vampires, etc. actually in love with the idea of (safely) eating a smaller fellow, either to protect them from danger or to mess with them a bit.

You can also shape up an OC's personality simply based on how they would react upon stumbling across a borrower, or finding out one of their shrunken friends has mysteriously shrunk, and this is so innovatively creative to me ❤️ would they be tempted to eat them? Immediately take them to a safer place? Hold them close? Who knows 👀
