..His eyes are so easy to get lost in. Globes of honey brown that the sun glistens into as the silk sheets dance across your skin. The sun that trickles in from the window as the sun rises up in the early morning.

Shunsui's got his arm wrapped loosely around your waist. Soft, wet kisses are placed across your cheek, his beard brushing against your skin and tickling. You giggle, sinking a bit into your figure as he pulls you closer, pressing the side of his face against yours and rubbing his beard against your soft, plush flesh.

You playfully push him away and a low rumble of a chuckle bubbles up from his chest. His messy hair is in a loose ponytail, stray strands everywhere from his morning hair.

"You're beautiful," Shunsui speaks softly, eyes admiring your face.

"Shut up," you whisper out, cheeks heating up from his sweet compliment. Shunsui hums quietly, lips curling up into a slight grin as he enjoys the sun rising up with you by his side.

One of the funniest things in watching Bleach reactions is (Manga Finale Spoilers)

...everyone going "OH AIZEN'S OUT. Oh, he's gonna have a scheme! You can free him, but what then? He's a REAL villain!"

And Aizen's whole character is basically him having accepted that his Destiny and Dream and Scheming was all misguided, and, you know what?, that Ichigo kid proved him wrong. He's not interested in destroying the Soul King and creating a New World Order anymore--this one is Far Too Interesting, and he's happy to watch it from the darkness and seclusion. He's not going to bother anyone.

But no one knows that.

i don't want to bat too hard for #MY token straight ship here because straightness has been viewed as the default for far too long and for those of us who aren't straight, it isn't surprising that a lot of these ships would be boring, so i can see where people are coming from and i don't think anyone should be taking it so personally. considering the general nature of fandom's attitude towards all things canon, this was the inevitable response, regardless of how well or poorly-written people consider ichihime to be. it's okay! none of this is ever that deep, and ichigo and orihime in particular have great relationships with lots of different characters, so i'm not opposed to shipping in general, even if i'm not particularly an adventurous shipper with the bleach characters. (i have been on the other side of this, though, AKA: i have shipped the protagonist + his predominant male relationship in other shonen series before, so i know what it's like to be on both sides😅) it all comes down to personal preferences, so, yes, i agree with you, but i also think this kind of discourse should go back to 2016, where it belongs. i don't think there's any point in discussing it again and again, i don't see the point in forcing people to accept things they don't want to, i'm just here for a good time.
