i couldnt think of an economic way to draw this. there were too many pregnant pauses. they give each other the silent treatment for a while and then one asks the other a request. can i sit here? can i ride on your bike home? can i have a token for the carousel? and then the storm passes and theyre friends again. i dont think they know how to say sorry out loud. part of it is pride, sure, but a lot of it is 'sorry' is too small of a word.

this is a fucking hard one because both sicely and anthea are filled with an inconquerable will, on account of having chell and utena dna respectively. i think sicely is more tenacious and enduring that anthea, who is more stalwart in advancing onwards. to put it another way, sicely is better at surviving a shitty situation and constantly staying on the lookout for means of getting out, constantly puzzling out potential solutions, testing the limits (fortuitous outcomes) and anthea is better at persisting towards what she thinks is the right way to live (way of life). its these qualities that make them borderline insufferable to everyone else and perhaps the main reason they can endure each others nonsense

I actually am not sure anymore having i keep changing so much about it. Not even that joke works considering I'm trying to settle between not catholic not lovecraftian but a secret third thing with my demons. I would say Noah by Sebastian Fitzek by virtue of having that little thing of many different stories happening at once until they clash at some point, trope i adore and put a lot into my book. I think I myself should read some bits more to flesh it out further lmao.

hi i just wanted 2 say the art you did for reanimator (? i think is the name, i dont know the media) is so gorgeous. someone i follow rt'd it and i looked up the original novel cover art and (while it is also lovely) i have to say yours is so dynamic and impactful and Connected feeling in a way the original just... isnt? you managed to improve on what was already a beautiful piece and you captured something there that im not sure how to describe but it is stunning
