Does NOT contain spoilers and definitely can be read as a regular fic, if you have not read Your New Pack
Your New Pack Side Story: Pool Day!
Pairings: Panther! Shoto Todoroki, Hawk! Takami Keigo, Rabbit! Izuku Midoriya, Wolf! Katsuki Bakugou, Dog! Eijiro Kirishima x Human Female! Reader
Word Count: 2.5k
Summary: You are just trying to finish the chapter of your book. The boys seem to have a problem with that.
Convincing the boys to have a pool day was not very hard. It was blazing hot and spending some time in the cool pool is exactly what everyone needed. Plus the thought of you in a swimsuit had the boys frantically running into their rooms to change.
So here you were, out by the pool suntanning with a book in your hands. You wore large sunglasses that covered your face and a pink and white polka-dot bikini.
Izuku stands in front of you, near the edge of the pool, and cocks his head to the side. “What are you reading, Y/N?”
You tear your eyes from the page and onto the boy. He was wearing bright red swim shorts and had goggles on his forehead that pushes the mop of hair out of his face. You scan his body, just because you could. It was beginning to get more toned, you note happily. He did spend a lot of time in your gym.
“Y/N?” He prompts again, and you quickly tear your eyes from his abs to his face. He was blushing lightly, having caught your stare.
You blush in return and frantically wave your hands in front of your face. Oh, uh, just some stupid cheesy romance book.”
His ears twitch above his head. “Are you a romantic person?”
“Hopelessly,” You sigh thinking about the times you have daydreamed about having a lover.
He furrows his eyebrows in thought. He brings his hand to his chin and begins his muttering things you couldn’t understand, “Huh. Hopeless romantic. Would she like flowers? Or does she want some sort of grand gesture? Like maybe–”
Suddenly the bunny falls–No is pushed into the pool. He lands in the water with a short screech. Your eyes widen and you quickly check if he’s alright. Izuku’s now-soaked hair falls in front of his face and he frowns at the figure above him.
“Kacchan!”
“You deserved it. Nobody wanted to hear your annoying ass muttering.”
You frown at the wolf. “Katsuki,” You warn.
He looks at you from above his black sunglasses. His red eyes bore into yours. “What? You know I’m right.”
You sigh and shake your head, knowing you’re not going to win this battle. So, you instead take in his appearance. Black swim trunks and black aviators. You weren’t surprised by his outfit choice.
He catches your stare and grins, canines exposed. “You better get in the water soon or you’re going to end up like Deku over here.” He uses his thumb to point to the rabbit in the pool and you sigh but nod.
You watch him jump into the shallow end of the pool and walk toward the small waterfall. He leans against it with a sign, finally cooling off.
You hum and turn back toward your book.
“Cannonball!” You recognize the voice immediately and you perk up. You watch Eijiro run from the ledge and jump in the pool, with his legs tucked into his chest.
From this angle you could tell that he was wearing those ridiculous shorts you told him NOT to buy the first day you guys went shopping. Bright neon yellow. He looked like a human highlighter. You didn’t even have time to groan about his outfit choice.
Water sprays everywhere in the pool, and some droplets land on the bottom of your legs. You laugh as Eijiro comes up for air. He swims to the closest ledge, where Izuku was also hanging onto.
The rabbit put the yellow goggles on. It made his eyes look massive. He looked ridiculous but you didn’t want to ruin his fun, so you held back a laugh.
“Did you see that, Y/N? C’mon get in the water, it’s no fun without you!”
“Of course, I saw it, I even felt it. Gotta be one of the best cannonballs I have ever seen.” He puffs out his chest in pride. “And In a bit. I just want to finish this chapter.”
“Alright! I’ll make sure to save you a floaty next to mine!”
Katsuki growled from across the pool, cutting you off. He wipes his sunglasses with his finger. “Really, idiot?” The blond scolds from across the pool and the dog grins.
“Sorry, Bakugou! But if you are in the pool, you do have to be prepared to get wet,” He hums in response, grinning at you as he talks.
“I am about to get you real wet when I drown your ass!” The wolfs yells in response.
Eijirio laughs for a second and turns to face the wolf who is across the pool. “Sorry man, but that stuff doesn’t really turn me on.” He raises his eyes mischievously and you burst into laughter.
“Kirishima!” Izuku says, hand covering his mouth to hide his smile. The dog winks at him which makes you laugh even more. It was rare for Eijiro to best Bakugou and entertained the hell out of you.
Katsuki sits there for a second processing what the hell his best friend just said. He tears off his sunglasses and sends them flying into the grass. “You are dead, dog!” He bellows before tearing through the water toward the redhead.
The two begin to wrestle above and under the water, and Izuku has the first-row seat, with his goggles on beneath the water.
You knew that the two of them would never hurt each other so you fix your sunglasses, lean back, and continue your book.
Someone sits down next to you, and you turn your head immediately at the sound. Shoto is in the seat next to you, fully clothed. He turns to you and smiles softly. “Hello, Y/N.”
“Hey Sho.” His heart picks up as it usually does when he hears the nickname fall from your mouth. He scoots his chair closer to you and you smile and nod at him encouragingly.
You turn your attention back to the book, causing him to frown. He doesn’t say anything.
After a couple of seconds, the panther begins to shift uncomfortably in his chair. You turn toward him in confusion. “Hey Shoto, why do you have your regular clothes on?
“Do you want me to strip for you?” He asks casually, honestly hoping you’ll say yes.
You pinch the bridge of your nose and try not to blush. You know by now that this is how he speaks, and he doesn’t mean anything by it. “Why did you have to frame it like that?”
He cocks his head to the side and frowns. “Oh sorry. I can undress for you if you want. Is that better?”
You give up. “Okay. Never mind. It’s fine.”
“It’s because I don’t want to go in the pool,” He reasons, looking disgusted at the two canines currently trying to drown one another.
“Why? It’s hot as hell. Wouldn’t it feel nice?” You encourage and he shakes his head.
“Not a fan of water.”
You giggle at this and he cocks his head in confusion. “What?”
“A cat afraid of water. You are a walking stereotype, Shoto,” You tease and the panther furrows his eyebrows.
“Cats are afraid of water?”
“Yes, have you not seen–You know what. Nevermind. It’s perfectly fine to not like water,” Reasoning with him usually took at least ten minutes, and you really wanted to finish your chapter.
So the two of you sit in silence. You can feel Shoto stare at you but you ignore it. Just a couple more pages and then you can ask what is wrong. “I like that swimsuit. You look pretty, Y/N.”
You begin to respond to the compliment when a familiar voice cuts in, “Yeah she does and isn’t it just the perfect color?”
And suddenly the cocky blonde is walking, more like strutting, over to the two of you. You can’t hold back the laugh that falls from your lips when you see what he is wearing. Pink and white polka dot shorts, and pink sunglasses.
“What are you laughing at, Dove? Don’t like it? Woah, hold on, did you copy me?” Keigo clutches at his heart, with an overdramatic look of fake pain on his face.
“You’re such an idiot,” You sigh but smile.
“Agreed.” The panther says from next to you, who was not joking.
“Hey, princess! I’m surprised you didn’t come out here in a bikini!” The wolf calls, putting the fight on hold just to tease the hawk.
“Would you have liked that more, wolf? Cause I’m sure Y/N has some extras.” You try to hold back another laugh from the bickering but fail to. Shoto shakes his head at the comment.
Izuku emerges from the water, ears pinned back on his head from the force of the water. “Please don’t Hawks! You look great in pink,” Izuku says with enthusiasm. He has been idolizing the bird from the very first day he moved in, almost as much as he does with All-Might.
Keigo takes in the rabbit’s dorky appearance and has to cover his laugh with a cough. “Thanks, kid. Hey, can you hand me that floaty? The pizza one.” Izuku nods and dives back under the water to fetch it.
He brings it back and Keigo climes on and fixes his pink sunglasses. He then turns over with a huff and lays down, sunbathing on his back, with his eyes closed.
It goes silent again, excluding Izuku and Eijiro laughing in the water with one another. You turn back to your book.
A couple of minutes go by and Keigo speaks loud enough for everyone to hear, “Don’t Y/N and I look like a couple, matching together like this?” He loved stirring up shit.
Katsuki throws a blow-up beach ball at the hawk, hitting him in the stomach, before he could catch it. “No, you idiot! She’s not into you, bird brain!” Katsuki yells from across the pool and you sigh, knowing that it’s going to be a couple of minutes before you can go back to your book.
The panther, who much to your surprise, did actually strip, sits up next to you. He was wearing dark blue shorts that matched his collar that he never took off. “Bakugous right. Keigo, you are delusional,” Shoto calls from your side.
“Ironic,” The bird mumbles, before closing his eyes again. It goes quiet for a few seconds, and you think that was all, but suddenly Keigo and his floaty are being flipped over. The bird falls into the water with a groan.
Izuku and Eijiro pop up with a smile and high-five one another. You laugh at this and the two turn to you, smiling in return. “Thanks for the encouragement, Y/N! We all know he deserved it,” Eijiro calls from the pool, and Izuku hums in agreement.
Keigo doesn’t argue knowing he provoked it. So he sighs and gets out of the water to place his wet sunglasses on the table. He winks at you when he catches you staring at his body. You turn away, slightly blushing on being caught, again. At least Katsuki and Eijiro didn’t catch you.
It goes quiet again. Shoto has moved the seat even closer to yours. You don’t say anything. He turned his body to face you and you could feel him staring again. He was waiting for you to admire his body like you did with the others.
Five more pages and then you’re done. He can wait for five pages.
You pause for a second. It was quiet. Too quiet. You glance at the water and frown. The boys weren’t there. You begin to look for them when Shoto begins to speak, “Y/N, you know, your body looks–” And suddenly he is being lifted.
Each boy holds a different limb, Katsuki, and Eijiro hold him up both under his arms, while Keigo and Izuku hold him up by the back of his knees. He looks at you and then the boys shocked. They in response, grin viciously.
The boys have noticed for a couple of minutes that Shoto has been staring at you, and it definitely wasn’t in a pure way. So, they came up with a plan, and here they are.
“Perverts get banished to the pool!” Eijiro says, and the four begin to swing him toward the water.
“Wait–I’m not! Guys, cmon don’t do this! I hate the water!” But it’s too late and suddenly the panther is flying toward the pool. Your eyes widen when he hits the cool waterl with a splash.
When he comes back up he looks absolutely pissed. You cover your mouth and laugh silently.
But the moment doesn’t last long, cause suddenly you are being lifted up now. A hand grabs for your sunglasses and places them on the counter next to you. “Huh? Guys wait! I’m, not a pervert! C’mon, I just need to finish my chapter!”
“Sorry Dove, you should know we are all impatient bastards.”
“He’s right, Y/N! And you told me earlier you would come in! You are taking way too long, man.”
“I told you that you would end up like Deku.”
“You can finish reading your “cheesy romance book” later, Y/N!”
“But–” and just like Shoto, you were being thrown into the water, with a small squeal. You land with a small splash, and the boys all jump in after you, carefully making sure to not jump on you.
When you come up for air, you begin to laugh and the boys follow in pursuit, excluding Shoto.
You quickly swim over toward the pouting cat, and move his sopping-wet hair away from his eyes. He closes his eyes and bathes in the soft touch. When you pull away, he smiles softly at you. “See? Not too bad right?”
He nods a little hesitantly. “I guess.” You smile wide at him and suddenly you are being pulled away from him by your legs. You laugh and allow yourself to be dragged back.
You spent the rest of the day teaching the boys every single pool game you could think of.
Katsuki got way too invested in pool volleyball, almost drowning Eijiro while diving for the ball. Izuku is a pro at marco-polo, it actually freaked everyone out. You think he is cheating. Eijiro is fantastic at sharks and minnows, but that didn’t surprise anyone, in a different life you swore he would be a shark. Shoto liked playing colors, because when your “it” you have to stand out of the water. He didn’t even try to tag anyone. You had to end the game quickly because Shoto would never jump into the water. Keigo suggested playing mermaids, half a joke and half serious, and got shit on by everyone immediately. His swimsuit didn’t help his case. And finally, you requested a race. They let you win, and the six of you knew it, but nobody said anything.
By the end of the day, everyone was exhausted. After showering the six of you passed out ten minutes into your almost daily, superhero movie.

“Age doesn't matter,” 19
Dad!Bakugo x F!Babysitter!Teacher!Reader
Part 18
Days had gone by since Katsuki last saw you after that incident. He was glad that Mitsuki took care of Kazui for a while since he didn't know where to leave him except for his parents of course.
Katsuki has been arriving at an empty house and he doesn't like it. He doesn't like how it changed drastically all because of what he did.
A stupid shit...
“Bakugo! What happened?!” Eijiro was quick to his side when he saw his friend standing and obviously stunned.
“Katsuki!” Eijiro called out once again, this time shaking the stunned Katsuki who look finally blinked.
Katsuki just slowly turn his head to Eijiro and looked at him. He’s speechless. His breathing is rapid, his face is all sweaty, and his heartbeat is quick but painfully tight.
“Katsuki,” Eijiro called out for the third time. He was worried after he saw Y/n’s teary eyes.
“Kacchan!” Izuku called out running his way to Katsuki along with the others behind him. “Why was Miss Y/n crying?” Izuku asked worriedly.
Katsuki's eyes were blazing as he turn his gaze to Izuku.
Fuck.
Fuck..
FUCK!!!
“I’m going to sleep,” Katsuki said pushing Eijiro off of him and heading toward his bedroom almost instantly.
As soon as he got in, he slammed the door shut behind him.
What has gotten into him?
Katsuki was still in shock. He couldn't believe what he just said. He couldn't ignore your pained facade. He couldn't disregard your tears.
The happening was replaying over and over in his mind and he couldn't obliterate it making him incline back on his door, slowly gliding down until he was fully seated on the floor.
“Y/n,” he whispered, darkness engulfing him.
...
“We are glad to inform everyone that the establishment is fully developed. Thanks to the heroes who assisted us in the process. A special thanks to...”
The school was finally constructed as you listen to the news.
How many days has it been? 2? 3? Since that happened.
Eijiro keeps on checking up on her through messages but she was overly tired, exhausted, and drained, to even move an inch.
She never received a message from him though. Not a single note.
You were still bewildered about why he reacted that way. You needed explanations of course, but in this condition, it's better to just mull over it. Confronting him would just be ridiculous at this point.
“I don’t know anymore..” Y/n whispered to herself as she embraced her knees. “Why do things happen like this.”
She even ponders how will Katsuki explain things to Kazui. She just stops coming over. Who was taking care of him? Was it his mom? His friends?
Suddenly, her phone rang for the nth time of the day. Checking the caller ID, it was Eijiro.
The poor guy was extremely worried.
Sighing to yourself, you pick up the call.
“Y/n!! Finally! I was so worried.”
Eijiro’s voice made you smile slightly.
“Look, I don’t know what happened. I tried asking Katsuki but he’s just shoving me away. Not that it's new. But just not in this manner. I don't know what occurred between you two, it's driving me insane just thinking that I couldn’t help you guys. Midoriya and the others are worried as well. They're still hoping I could get at least something out of both of you but I always come out with nothing.”
Y/n was tearing up. Kirishima is a good friend. With all the courage you have, you took a deep breath and speak up.
“I’m sorry we made you worry, Kirishima. Everyone else too. But the incident between Bakugo and I will remain silent, and I wished to not talk about it..” You answered as you wiped a tear away.
“I understand,” Eijiro said sadly. “But if you need someone, you know who to call, okay?”
“Thank you, Kirishima.” You smiled.
“No problem, Miss Y/n. I respect your decision.” Eijiro said.
Y/n ended the call.
…
“Have you heard anything from them?” Mina asked worriedly while on patrol with Eijiro.
“No.” Eijiro simply said. “But Miss Y/n finally answered my call. She said she doesn’t want to talk about it.” He said, shaking his head slightly.
“Oh, I am positive Bakugo started it!” Mina grunt. That was the second time she get to spend time with you and someone had to ruin it.
“Hey, we don’t know that.” Eijiro's sweat dropped. “You can’t just point a finger at him.”
“Oh yeah? So you think it’s Miss Y/n, hmm??” Mina paused walking and crossed her arms over her chest, foot tapping as she waited for Eijiro’s answer.
“Well. I don’t want to judge.”
…
Weeks had gone by and you were now back working at school. It’ll be only an hour before students start arriving as well.
What did Katsuki tell Kazui? You keep thinking about this over and over.
“Miss Y/n, have you finished working on your classroom?”
Your co-teacher jolted you, awakening you from your thoughts.
“O-oh! Yes!” You smiled.
“Perfect! Students will arrive with their parents in a bit. The chairman says since it's back to school, teachers must assure the parents of the safety of the students and discuss the school’s new drill in case there's an attack. Well, hopefully, there's none,” Your co-teacher chuckled nervously at the doorway.
“Yeah. Hopefully. I’ll be ready.” You gave her a reassuring smile. “Plus, I have the new guidelines right here.” You showed her the small notebook you were holding confidently. “I’ll be fine. I made this.”
“I believe in you, Miss Y/n. I’ll see you in a bit!” She waves at you and left.
Of course, you can do this.
An hour had gone by, and students and parents started appearing. Some are walking past your classrooms, and others are greeting you before entering yours.
Y/n was terrified. She was scared that Kazui might bring Katsuki. Well, he’s his parent but still.
Just thinking about this makes her nervous. Why was she nervous anyway? She did nothing wrong.
Alright, you can do this.’ Y/n thought to herself before inhaling and exhaling to calm herself. When her eyes darted around her, she saw the familiar blonde in the crowd. Of course, there would be a crowd around him, he’s a hero.
Just seeing his hair makes you anxious. It made you feel like you want to pass out.
Before you could avert your gaze away from him, he manages to catch your eye causing you to look away quickly.
“Miss Y/n! Miss Y/n!” the oh-so-familiar voice called out.
“Kazui-chan!” Y/n excitedly greeted Kazui who was running towards her and giving her a big hug.
“Miss Y/n. Why aren’t you coming over anymore?” Kazui asked innocently while he stare at Y/n.
She couldn’t answer. She doesn’t know what to say. Kazui’s question made her look up at Katsuki who catches her gaze making him look away.
But this didn’t go unnoticed by Kazui.
Something’s wrong. He can feel it.
“W-well. Now that we’re back here at school, I would get very busy.” Y/n said placing a gentle hand on Kazui’s head and stroking him. “I’m sorry, Kazui-chan.”
Kazui pouted at this. “Maybe you can come over when you’re not busy.”
Y/n’s heart aches as she watches Kazui’s eyes turn unhappy. “We’ll see, Kazui-chan.”
The orientation was brief and smooth. Parents were able to comprehend the new drill the school installed and how they will handle the safety of every student. Questions were thrown at Miss Y/n, but she was able to respond to every one of them.
Katsuki was silent throughout the whole orientation. He was observing you, at the same time, listening. But he’s mainly focused on you. He hated the way you smile at other people. He hated that you were laughing at their jokes before proceeding with their questions. He hated that he missed having you around.
As soon as the father and son got home. Kazui stopped in his tracks on his way to his bedroom whilst Katsuki sat on the sofa turning the television on.
“Papa,” Kazui called out.
Katsuki didn't bathe an eye at him though. He simply hummed as his response.
“Is there something wrong between Miss Y/n and you?”
Kazui’s question made Katsuki freeze on his spot. Kazui may be young, but he knows that his kid is smart. Smart enough to read a situation.
“What made you say that?” Katsuki said, eyes not leaving the television.
“I saw the interaction between you two earlier. Normally you’d be teasing her and she would tease you back, but that didn’t happen. Did you do something?”
Wow. Is his son even a child?
Katsuki just tsked. “You shouldn’t be prying in something like this especially if it's my problem. You’re too young. Just go to bed, brat.”
“I'm just saying. If you did something, go apologize to Miss Y/n... I don't want her to disappear just because you two had a disagreement.”
“Yeah yeah.”

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞, 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞?
Tags: Revelation (Deku's birthday series 2024), izuku x fem!reader, angst, pain, discovery, pain
Masterlist
11th July. Love and pain are two sides of the same coin.
Do you remember when you first fell in love?
.
.
.
When Izuku opens his eyes, everything is pitch black. He stumbles, pressing his hand along the edges of his mind. What kind of dream is this?
“Hey.”
He whips around, and finds himself staring 5 meters away from his ten-year-old self. He’s more than twice the size of his old self, and to see the him he was before, a dirty, mishappened school bag set on his shoulders while he bursts with nervous energy, Izuku’s mouth falls open in the softest of gasps. Back then, he was just a Deku. Kacchan was slipping and getting worse,
He was almost always alone.
Split bentos dumped in trash bins and his hero journals soaked with fountain water. Sometimes, he’d come home with bruises he claimed were by his own clumsiness, when they actually stemmed from his lack of worth.
Stumbling, Izuku closes the distance between them, falling on his knees as he stares back at eyes full of green. Scarred, ugly arms encircle this frail frame, an empty vessel with no power; an empty vessel that was destined for failure.
This was him, 7 years ago, baring his flesh and soul.
He pulls back, and smiles. It comes out crooked.
“Hey,” He repeats, exhaling a batted breath.
His younger self, Deku, continues to look at him in determination Izuku doesn’t know he owns. It’s a blaze in his eyes, a fire in hell. Even if he has everything he ever wanted, this version of himself is staring at him like Izuku’s lost something incredibly dear to him. He looks upon him in pity .
“Do you remember when you first fell in love?” Deku asks, looking at Izuku with a searching gaze.
The question is enough to throw Izuku off, heat crawling up his face like a spider up its web.
“W-What?”
“You’re searching for someone you’ve lost.” Deku continues, watching his own expression carefully. “The someone is very very sad, because for the longest time, you never tried to find her. At least now, you’re finally trying to fight.”
Izuku’s heart wrenches at that. “Starlight, right?” Izuku says, your name falling from his mouth like water from a spring. “H-How long has it been, since I’ve forgotten her?”
Deku looks thoughtful, pensive.
“Years,”
Is his reply.
“7 years.”
Shock binds him, along with the ache of sorrow in his bones as his face twists in regret. You’ve been suffering like this for 7 years? Protecting him, hiding your anguish because Izuku was too blind to see it.
7 years of memories, stolen and locked away behind a wall and sealed lips.
Don’t probe.
That is a warning he is not willing to heed.
Do you remember when you first fell in love?
Back last year, Izuku would have probably said his first love was Ochaco. A picture-perfect confession, confined in the four walls of a hospital room before Izuku could even move his arms. He thought that Ochaco was the one for him. They dated a little after the war. There was nothing wrong with Ochaco, and he’s very sure she would make someone very happy someday, but both of them just didn’t click the way he thought they would.
No chemistry, he’d concluded.
No spark.
They agreed to stay as friends because Ochaco admitted the same thing. Young and inexperienced, mistaking infatuation for love.
With a small smile, he shakes his head. “I don’t.” He replies, and it’s a realisation that even surprised him. “I don’t think I have, fallen in love.”
Deku cracks a smile, the same smile that he’s wearing now. Sympathy lines his expression, baby fat on his cheek and plentiful freckles dotting his face. It’s him, from the past, but it also isn’t. “Keep fighting. It’s a battle you need to win alone. And you will win, right? Because you’re a hero.”
The sheer volume of hope in his voice brings Izuku back to reality. He’s fought in a war and won. What kind of hero would he be if he couldn’t save you?
“I’ll win.” He says, needing to hear it for himself again. He cannot afford to lose, because losing meant losing you.
His younger self pauses, reaching out a small, perfectly shaped hand. They rest on Izuku’s marked ones which are littered with scars, and he looks up to the person he will one day be. “Go back to the clearing. Starlight is very good at lying to others, but she can’t lie to me. Our Secrets live there, and maybe then, you start to remember.”
Crooked and forced smiles, perfect hands, a dirty school bag, split bentos and hero journals.
Do you remember when you first fell in love?
“I don’t,” He’d said with a sad smile.
Deku shakes his head, 10 years old with eyes that shine with recognition.
“That’s a shame. Because I do.”
—
Voices plague Izuku’s consciousness. Someone’s calling him, calling for him. He can’t let them down.
When he wakes up back in his room, there are golden hues seeping through the open window.
What a strange dream.
—
Izuku spends quality time soaking up his thoughts when he’s on a jog. Technically, he should have been spending more time with his thoughts, but the pounding headaches that plagued his waking moment every time he tried pushing past the barrier made it too painful to multi-task.
As he rides the elevator up to his level, he dries his hair absent-mindedly and prepares himself for the homework he may or may not have been neglecting in favour of digging up more leads about you.
With everything going on, he didn’t even flinch when he came back to the kitchen being boarded off again and Kacchan’s sharp howls as he berates his classmates with the finesse of a chef of a Michelin-star restaurant.
Sato would be extremely disappointed to know he couldn’t bake in the confines of the kitchen for at least the next few days.
Izuku doesn’t even look at the damage dealt.
What he does flinch at is your familiar fluffy shoes right outside his door. The shoes extend to legs, and when he looks up, and he finds your face.
“Starlight?”
You visibly flinch at the name, and he ignores it.
“What are you doing here?”
The blush looks good on your cheeks, Izuku decides, before reddening in turn at his own thoughts.
“Homework help.” You reply, eyes averted in shame. “You’ve always been better at English, anyway. Could you proofread my essay?”
—
Izuku doesn’t mind impromptu study sessions. He loves studying with his friends and relishes the fact that he’s in the position to help them clinch more marks during their crazy difficult exams.
With you though, the silence is awkward Izuku’s focus bids him farewell with a salute and double birdies.
Maybe it was his dream or the way he’s stewed too much in his own thoughts today, because it’s him and his big mouth that breaks the silence first.
“Hey.”
“Hm?”
“What would you do if you had one day left on Earth?”
There is a pause on your end, and he knows all too well that he’s messed up the moment the words left his mouth. He’s about to brush it off, say that it’s a stupid question and that he’s sorry for distracting you, but you give his thoughtless inquiry and thoughtful answer.
“Well, we’ve had quite a few ‘last days’, haven’t we?”
Your voice is thick, like there’s a lump in your throat and you’re trying to untangle the knots by the ends.
“Beat the shit out of all the villains in the vicinity, probably,” you say, shrugging. “I’d say spend it with family, but, I think they’ve probably seen enough of me.”
That squeezes a laugh out of him. He’d probably do the same thing, but spend time with his mother and tell her that everything was going to be okay.
“If you were in love? What would you do then?” He presses. Izuku doesn’t really know why he asks.
Do you remember when you first fell in love?
Ah, caught in 4k.
Something in your expression flickers, and you make a visible effort to school it back down to neutral.
“How do you know I’m not in love right now?”
The air-conditioner whirls quietly in the background.
His notes are forgotten on the table, essay equally so. It’s so easy to get distracted, even though Izuku prides himself in keeping himself on track.
“Are you?”
There’s another long, long pause. You look like you want to say something, but you’re holding back.
Starlight is very good at lying to others, but she can’t lie to me.
Right on the nail.
Izuku thinks you aren’t going to answer it when you look up at him, eyes glassy with memories he doesn’t share.
“I used to think that love was a pretty thing. Cupid and his arrows were supposed to blossom relationships that were matches made in heaven. Couples would gather on Valentine’s Day with roses and chocolates, and they are supposed to be happy because they have someone to walk through life with them.” Your smile is sad as you shake your head in disappointment. Izuku’s heart is falling, he is falling, at the face you’re giving him because he wants so badly to fix it.
He’s supposed to be able to, isn’t he?
“I don’t think I’m in love. Because if being in love is supposed to feel like soaring through clouds, then my ugly feelings that make me miserable and feel so alone can’t possibly be love.”

I maintain that for most of Midoriya Izuku’s life, he thought people were saying “420 Blaze It!” because they were excited for Kacchan’s birthday
He would say it back with so much naive gusto hdjskdhdkskshs

Long Distance.
Izuku Midoriya x Reader
WORD COUNT: 1608 words
NOTE: Yes, the continuation of “One Last Time” is being written. This is just an old draft I finished up while writing the second part of it.
This will likely have a second part if you guys want one. Enjoy. :)
TW: Reader is in America for an internship Midoriya is in Japan, mentions of cuts & bruises & broken bones, mention of being heroes, Izuku and the reader are dating since they were in UA, homesickness, mentions of Bakugou, everyone in Class 1A missing the reader, reader sleeping and waking up from slumber, fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, mentions of worrying over reader, no specified gender for reader
“I wish you could see yourself like the rest of the world does.”
His tone is so soft, the pitch so low that the quiet affirmation barely reaches your ears. You teeter on the edge of slipping into a peaceful slumber, mind lulled to sleep by Izuku’s familiar and comforting rambling.
It reminds you of the nights you spent as heroes in training cuddled up to each other, talking aimlessly about the futures ahead of you. Both of you had been so buoyant and youthful, filled with life and freedom; it had felt as if you carry the world on your shoulders if you truly desired to.
That energizing passion and life that once burned brighter than the stars above is one you miss.
After you had become a hero and moved away to America for your final internship, it felt like that unfaltering blaze had been blown away, its embers lost in the darkness of midnight. The harsh reality of the world had finally settled— the Earth had chosen you as a subject to its excruciatingly relentless torture.
Everyday, you returned to your tiny apartment with massive splotches of purple and blue decorating your skin, deep and shallow cuts, and even broken bones if a pesky villain had gotten the upper hand against you. The cost of living was rather extreme; especially for such a compact and small apartment in an area where crime rates were fairly high and the smog clouded the once resplendent sapphire sky. The streets were packed with obnoxiously loud cars, rude drivers, nosy neighbors, and creatures that stomped on all greenery planted for the purpose of decoration or environmental reasons. However, the sidewalks were empty; nothing was in walking vicinity. All had to be done through some form of vehicle transportation, whether that be with trains, cars, motorcycles, or bikes.
You miss when you could walk down to your local grocery market to shop for household essentials. You miss the familiarity of Japan, the common sight of children, teens, and adults alike congregated in the wide streets traveling to their home, workplaces, or to the store. You miss the smell of sizzling street food in the air, the aromatic fragrance of decedent meals coaxing you to hand local shops wads of bills to taste the divinity of such meals. You miss walking hand in hand with your friends down the streets of Japan, giggling and chattering about the mundane parts of life and school.
Being homesick is a feeling you never expected to wash over you so gradually; it was one that you predicted to never even occur.
When you first left for America, waving at your family and friends, pure elation and butterflies streamed through your bloodstream, mind high off of adrenaline and the promise of a new land piled with opportunities and refreshing experiences. Not a sliver of doubt could be traced, only determination and naivety.
The things you would do to go back to Japan were unfathomable.
“We all miss you, even Kacchan does. He doesn’t like to admit it, but he always pays attention when your name is mentioned.”
The fuzziness of sleep plaguing your system slowly drains away, the once slowed beating of your heart picking up to a steady thrum. It wasn’t peculiar to hear Midoriya mention your former classmates or family and their welfare. Yet, he always abstained from explaining how they felt about your relocation; instead, he would inform you that they all missed you and couldn’t wait for you to return from America.
But to hear Bakugou specifically had been missing you? That was quite odd.
Throughout the entirety of the years you spent alongside Bakugou, he had never particularly paid attention to you. The minimal interactions between you both stemmed from academic assignments, group sparing sessions, or the basic verbal exchange in the common room for common essentials. You didn’t know him like Kirishima or Midoriya did— nor like the rest of his friend group did.
Alas, it appeared that long-term separation affects a person more than anyone gives it credit for.
“When I watch you on TV, (Name), I can’t help but get worried about whether or not you’ll be okay. It scares me to know I can’t protect you from villains like I could before. The possibility that I have to watch you die in front of my eyes through a screen is one that haunts me.”
Izuku had always been an honest and expressive man to you. He always communicated with you about his concerns, worries, and allowed you to voice yours.
This, however, was something you had never heard.
“I know how hard you are on yourself. I know that you push yourself to point that even when you have nothing left to give, you still find something to give.”
His voice cracks as he pours his heart out to you supposed sleeping self, the ends of his words becoming fainter and fainter in a poor attempt to disguise the likely tears that are forming in his jade eyes. Whenever Izuku cried while talking, a distinct trembling, a change in stability of his tone was audible to the ears. Even after all this time of being apart, you can still recognize his cues.
Though, Izuku had been right. As of late, you had been working yourself down to the bone; whenever you reached that breaking point, you merely ignored the reality and continued to stretch yourself thinner and thinner even when your body screamed against it. You had always been the type to do so, especially in your younger years.
Bad habits die hard.
“And I know as heroes it doesn’t seem like it, but we have a long life to live. Together.”
A shaky intake of breath is heard through the phone. He lets out a broken sigh.
“I love you, (Name). I love you a lot. And I know because of our distance and different time zones, you don’t hear it enough. But it’s true. I really do love you.”
It’s a tired confession, but it holds all the meaning and love that Izuku Midoriya possessed in his entire body for you. A faint warmth blossoms in your face and you clutch at your pillow in anticipation, unsure of what words would fall from his mouth next. The erratic pounding of your heart against your ribcage sends your face deeper into the cushioning of your pillow.
“I . . . ” he rustles on the other side and a few sniffles are heard. “I just can’t wait for you to come home. None of us can. So please come home soon, (Name).”
In your mind, you’re aware Izuku is reaching to close the line connecting you both. But you don’t want that.
Not now, not ever.
“Sleep well, (Name).”
“Izuku?” you call out tentatively.
But you’re too late.
There’s a beep that signals the call has ended and you’re left alone in the darkness with your thoughts.
Did he even hear you?
You wish you knew.
You really, really did.

*sadly* blaze it……
Bakugou hasn't moved in a year, he's completely stoned out of his mind.
Deku returned to see him tripping and asking if "he could still reach him" while staring into his eyes, and that's why Deku looked so devastated, can't beat the villains just by himself when Kacchan is in la la land

Second Chance Ranch 🤠
Midoriya x Bakugou - A spicy scene with our cowboy couple from my long fic. Another Izuku Top / Katsuki Bottom (Title has the link!)
Finishing this story this week!
🤠❤️🔥🤠❤️🔥🤠❤️🔥🤠❤️🔥🤠❤️🔥
Staring at his muscled back, Izuku felt himself getting hard.
“Oi.” Kacchan pushed up against him.
“Caught me,” Izuku kissed his soapy shoulder.
“You get hard watching me cook.” He tipped his head back for him.
“I do.” Izuku laughed softly as he rinsed the suds from his spikes. “It’s this sexy dad hair making me hot.”
“Right,” he drawled sarcastically and Izuku could practically hear him rolling his eyes.
Just as he squirted out some conditioner, Kacchan spun around and straddled him awkwardly. Bubbles streamed down his body. “No conditioner.” He pinned him down in the tub.
Rubbing the offending stuff in his hands, Izuku splatted it against his chest and smeared it over his skin, his fingers finding his nipples. Seeing Kacchan’s face tighten in anticipation. He pinched them, thumbing the nubs until they grew taut.
“Great…” he growled but his voice was strained with desire. “My chest hair is gonna smell like coconuts.”
“You seem to like it when I play with your nipples.”
“Well,” Kacchan smiled wickedly, “I like it when you lick them too.”
Grabbing the sprayer, Izuku flipped on the water, hitting his chest to rinse off the conditioner. Water splashed everywhere as he tried to clean him off.
“Stop!” Kacchan laughed, sputtering as the sprayer deluged them both. Leaning closer, Izuku latched onto one nipple and bit gently, Kacchan’s fingers curled into his shoulders, digging deep into his muscle.
“You like that, huh?” He bit him again and sucked until the nub was so tight his skin wrinkled taut around it.
“I do,” Kacchan drew in a sharp breath and scooted closer. Sitting up higher, he whined as Izuku dragged his teeth from his escaping nipple. Then he settled back down so that Izuku’s cock slid between his ass cheeks.
It felt fucking amazing.
Glancing up, Izuku could see his red eyes were lit up, blazing hotter than a wildfire. “Watch it there,” he gripped his hips and thrust upwards. “I’ll want to fuck you.”
Kacchan began to swing his hips so that his dick slid up and down the valley of his ass. His tight ring puckering every time the head of his cock touched.
“Kacchan,” he gritted out. “You’re going too far.”
“Am I?” His voice was low and guttural, his own cock hard enough that it was hitting Izuku’s stomach everytime he pushed his hips forward. Kacchan bent down and gently kissed his neck, whispering with each warm touch. “Maybe I do want to find out how it feels to ride you… Freckles.” Licking the shell of his ear, he chuckled deep, “is this why you like cowboys?” He pushed down on the tip of his cock at just the right moment so that it pierced his asshole. Hissing, he stopped.
“No lube,” Izuku froze, holding himself back from thrusting further, which was already fucking impossible since Kacchan’s body was clenching maddeningly around the tip of his cock.
“I… thought… with the water.” He choked out but then moved, ever so slightly, trying to work more of his dick inside.
“I have lube,” Izuku offerred half-heartedly. If Kacchan was going to try to fuck him dry, he was more than willing considering the feel of his ass without lube was incredible. The way his skin caught and twisted slightly with every movement was like a rough handjob that was perfectly fitted around his dick.
“This feels so… fucking good,” Kacchan grunted while wiggling down a bit more, his chest finally coming in line with Izuku’s mouth.
“You like this?” He was surprised, it had to hurt without lube, but his face was scrunched in determination, his teeth sinking into the flesh of his bottom lip.
He was a beautiful sight.
Kissing his chest, Izuku sucked on his nipple, cupping his balls at the same time to tug them forward. A heavy grunt sounded as Kacchan slid down a bit more, groaning and hissing with every inch. Izuku bit on his nipple which added more emphasis to his groan. “I love the sounds you’re making,” he looked up to see Kacchan’s face pinched tighter as he tried to take him all the way to the hilt. Fondling his balls, he moved up to his thick cock and began to stroke him.
“Fu…ck,” Kacchan gasped and slid the remaining way down. He panted, gripping him tightly.
“Well done cowboy,” Izuku stroked him, relishing in the feel of his tight ass.
“I - I’m not sure I can move.”
“Then don’t.” Izuku kissed him, tracing his full lips with his tongue. “Just grind on me.” Settling one hand on his hip to guide his movements, he showed him. “Find your sweet spot and rock on me.” As much as he wanted to thrust, Izuku stayed still. If this was going to get him more of Kacchan’s ass, he would die before cumming.
“O-Okay.” He began to move hesitantly at first, slowly moving his hips sideways and then back and forth. Izuku knew when he found it. His whole body tightened and he shot straight up. Izuku gasped as the friction of his movement on his dick almost sent him over the edge.
“Ahhh! Shit,” Kacchan took several deep breaths then eased himself back down. He began to move again, looking for the same place, breathing out a low moan when he found the right spot.
“That’s it,” Izuku encouraged him. His glistening skin turned fiery red and his hands had a death hold on his shoulders as he continued to grind down, jerking and moaning each time he angled himself correctly. Watching him, Izuku reminded himself to laugh later when he didn’t need every ounce of concentration not to cum. Kacchan’s ass was like a damn cocksleeve that was squeezing in a perfect rhythm and he was about to lose his mind.
“You look like you’re feeling good,” Kacchan’s voice was raspy.
“You, don’t even know,” Izuku gasped out, struggling to hold back. “This… is incredible.”
“Yeah, I do,” he grinned goofily, then ground down again, hitting his spot and letting out a longer moan. “Fuuuuuck.”
“Kiss me,” Izuku needed to thrust so badly, he was desperate for something to distract him. Then, Kacchan’s mouth was on him. Hot and wet, his tongue igniting every nerve from his mouth to his dick.
This was what he needed.
Izuku sucked hard, getting out his frustrations from not being able to fuck him with every stroke of his tongue. Kacchan was gasping and letting out small yelps between kisses but Izuku couldn’t stop. He’d never wanted to move so badly in his life.
And then finally… as Kacchan ground down hard again, his ass clenched and his balls bulged under his hand. Throwing his head back, his moan echoed in the small space as his cock jerked with the spasm of his release.
Not waiting, Izuku grabbed his hips and thrust, he was so close that he only needed a few times.
“FUCK!” Kacchan writhed under his hands, hips still stuttering as cum flowed from his cock.
“Hold on…” Izuku thrust again, the friction in his ass was beyond anything he’d felt. His warm skin was barely slick and his cock dragged along his warm walls as he slammed deep inside of him. Kacchan was growling loudly, but not fighting him anymore.
He thrust one last time and the tension snapped, his muscles jerking from the intensity of pleasure that shot through him. Grabbing a fistful of his hair, Izuku dragged him down to kiss him fiercely as he rode out his orgasm. Sighing, as he came down from his high, he let go and leaned against his shoulder.
“Crap,” Kacchan wriggled his hips.
“Sorry,” Izuku clutched his face and kissed him gently. His lips were already swelling from his earlier attack. “Did that hurt?” He could hear him hum, a low rumbling that sounded from his chest, more of a vibration than anything. Pulling back Izuku couldn’t tell if he was laughing or angry. “Are you… purring?” It was the only sound that he could think of that came close.
“I dunno anything right now.” He slumped all the way against him. “That was… mind blowing,”
Izuku laughed and hugged him as he nuzzled against his chest still rumbling softly. Thankfully the water had cooled a bit because Izuku felt like he’d hiked Ridge valley straight up the cliff side. His heart was beating so hard, he was sure it was going to pop.
“Fuck, I’d never thought about lube that much…” Kacchan mumbled.
“It does make it easier… and safer. I should’ve made us get it.”
“No,” he rasped.
“No?”
Lifting his head, his red eyes were cooler now, the fiery light dimmed. “I always did like things a little on the rough side,” he breathed huskily.
“Have I been too gentle on you?” That shot lust straight into his veins like a load of opium. Izuku’s cock sucked up the drug happily and used it to revive.
“Oi, don’t get hard again.”
“It might feel good this time, you have cum in your ass.” Izuku paused and then laughed, “or is that the problem?”
Grumbling, Kacchan managed to push himself off of his body and with a lot of slipping and sliding, turned himself around and fell back into his chest, his wet hair plastered itself to Izuku’s cheek. “Heat up the water.”
“I think it’s time to get out.”
“Just a bit.”
Izuku rubbed his shoulder muscles which felt looser under his fingers. “You get anymore relaxed and you’ll slip down the drain.”
“I don’t wanna move though and it's cold.”
Planting his hands on the tub, Izuku managed to stand up behind him and slowly get out, careful to step on the mats instead of the slick tile. “I’ll help you.” Holding out his hand he waited for him to take it.
He eyed his half-hard dick. “If I get out, we’re gonna fuck again.”
Laughing, Izuku reached down and pulled the plug out of the tub. Slapping his face playfully, he smiled, “is that so bad?”
“No and that’s the fucking problem.” He clambered out of the bath. Grabbing him in a bear hug, Kacchan bit his shoulder and growled low. “I really want to.”
“Fuck,” Izuku almost came. Lifting him up, he swung him around and started walking awkwardly towards the hall.
“Oi! Put me down.”
“I can’t, I swear I’m going to cum just looking at you.”
“I’d rather you save your strength… and fuck me… against the wall like you did in the hotel our first time.”
Izuku dropped him. “Dammit,” he closed his eyes and leaned on the door for support. His balls tightened at the memory. Don’t cum… Don’t cum. He chanted to himself.
Kacchan chuckled. “Having trouble?” He cupped his balls, snickering.
“Only because of you.” Grasping his wrist tightly, Izuku spun him around and held his arm behind his back.
“Ow!” Kacchan protested, then laughed.
Slapping his ass, Izuku preferred Kacchan’s more irritated growl that he let out next as he tried to pull away. Not letting him go, he pushed him into the bedroom and shoved his face onto the bed, holding his head down.
Leaning over, Izuku kissed his shoulder and let him turn his head slightly. “If it’s too much let me know.” The blush that raced up his neck was all the answer he needed. Sliding his hand around, he felt his cock was rock hard. Running his fingers up his shaft, he ran his fingers with a feather light touch over the crown of his dick.
Kacchan wiggled and moaned into the comforter. “Fuck me!” His muffled voice was dripping with need, just like his cock.
“You do like it rough,” Izuku smirked. Yanking Kacchan’s hips up and kicking his legs open. His asshole glistened with water or cum, whatever it was, any restraint Izuku had left was gone and he thrust into him.
Kacchan’s loud moans were like gasoline on a fire. Using long deep strokes Izuku pounded him. His body jerked and flinched each time he drove into him. “This is the best position to hit your prostate.” Izuku grinned as he slapped his meaty ass, hard.
“Fuck,” Kacchan gasped and started to push off the bed.
Pinning his head down, Izuku thrust into him so deep his balls almost followed his dick into his ass. Kacchan started shaking and the feral sound that finally escaped from him as he came was Izuku’s end. He came so hard, his legs practically buckled under him from the intensity. Trying to catch his breath he gently traced the prominent red handprint on his skin as felt his cock lose its strength and slip from his ass.
Kacchan went limp on the bed and turned his head, giving him a tired pout. “That’s why I wanted to stay in the bath.” Crawling up on the bed further, he collapsed. “I swear I never knew being fucked could feel so good.”
“I’m happy to remind you anytime you forget,” Izuku grabbed the towel he’d dropped on the floor and tossed it to him. “I’m gonna clean up.” Kacchan just groaned and sprawled out naked on his stomach. Leaning over Izuku slapped his ass again. There was something about his butt.
“Stop,” he peered at him. “Remember, I’m not your-”
“I know,” Izuku cut him off and squeezed his ass. “I promise Kacchan, you're not my bitch but you are my cowboy.”
His deep chuckle was absorbed by the comforter.
Cleaning up himself first, he helped Kacchan next and then crawled under the covers to wrap them both up tightly. Leaning into his chest, he laughed at the smell of coconuts.
“What's so funny?”
“Nothing.” Curling into him, Izuku couldn’t think of anything that could make his life better.

Funny Thing Called Fate Ch. 5 (A BakuDeku Omegaverse Au)
Ch. 5: Being Honest
Izuku felt terrible. How could he had done that? He had panicked and had just booked it out of there and even ran all the way back to the dorms.
He got a few disgruntled faces in the public spaces since he didn't have his scent patches on but once in the dorm room he was fine.
Katsuki had almost kissed him. And Izuku had ditched him on their first date.
“But why a date? Kacchan doesn't like me....does he?” Izuku asked himself out loud. He sighed, pushing his glasses up to the top of his head.
The part he hated the most was that he didn't know why he had run...It was every dream he had. But his past just kept sneaking up on him.
“Anyone would be a loser if they dated you,” Katsuki had said to him in the past. He sighed again, going to his nest and flopped onto the bed.
Katsuki had been a lot younger when he had said that. That was far before the accident. Far before he stopped talking to him and then graduated.
They were in college now. And Katsuki was treating him better...
He had matured a bit since the last time he had seen him before classes started.
Izuku let out a whimper and pressed his fae into his blanket that Katsuki had given him. What had he done?
“I'm sorry Kacchan...” Izuku sobbed into the pillow. He hated how scared he had gotten and he had ruined the first good thing in his life.
*
It was a couple of hours later that the room door opened. Izuku was browsing his phone as Kirishima stepped in, half carrying a stumbling Katsuki back into the room.
“Oh my god,” Izuku said, his eyes wide as he stood up, watching as the redhead dumped the blonde onto the bed. “What happened?”
Kirishima made sure his friend was comfortable before turning on the omega in the room, red eyes blazing in anger.
“What happened? What happened?!” he asked, his voice raising. Izuku stumbled back in fear. His knees hit the side of his nest and he fell onto it.
“I-I.”
“You've got some nerve asking what happened. You left him. You rejected him in front of everyone,” Kirishima snapped. “The poor guy drank the whole night before I had to drag him back here before he ended up in the hospital.”
Izuku's eyes flicked to the blonde on the bed who was struggling to sit up but got dizzy and laid back down with a groan.
“But he doesn't like me like that-”
“Cut the garbage,” Kirishima growled, stomping closer to the omega. Izuku let out a squeak and tucked his legs in close to himself, his scent dripping in fear.
His instincts were telling him to hide and run to...
The drunk man on the bed.
“That man loves you.,” Kirishima stated. “He'll probably hate me for blurting this but I've never seen him so hung up on one person in my life. He's been trying to court you for months. He even took the step forward to be blunt and tell you what he wanted and you basically just spat right into his face in front of a lot of people.”
Izuku's eyes widened and he felt his breathing coming in heavier, hands shaking.
“I didn't know...I didn't mean to,” he biting his lip. Katsuki loved him? But no one had ever loved him before in his life like that.
As far as he knew anyway.
“Well you blew your only shot,” Kirishima hissed. “Do us a favor and stay away from him. Don't drag him further through the dirt than you already have.”
With that final word he stormed from the dorm room. Izuku winced when the door slammed and he sighed. The noise had Katsuki stirring on the bed.
“Too loud...” Katsuki groaned from the bed. Izuku swallowed, still shaking. He felt sick to his stomach and was scared. The only safety he felt was with Katsuki.
And he had hurt the man.
Still shaking he got to his feet, locking the door room and approached the blonde's bed. He was so confused and scared but all he knew was that he should at least apologize.
And maybe he could get to be near the alpha till he at least calmed down.
“Kacchan...” Izuku said softly. Katsuki lifted his head, the frown on his face obvious.
“Deku...” he replied.
Izuku shifted a bit and slowly sank down on the edge of the bed. So much had happened in the amount of hours. His whole world was turning upside down.
“I'm sorry for runing off earlier..I-” he started but stopped when Katsuki groaned. Izuku swallowed. The blonde was too drunk to receive this right now. He'd have to try again when he was sober.
“Why don't you like me,” Katsuki drawled on, turning his face into a pillow. “I know I was terrible but thought we had something going..You even took my blanket that I gave you.”
Izuku knew he was drunk. The man never whined like this. He never acted like this unless there was an outside source.
And he was speaking his mind as well which was something that Katsuki did normally, but not something like this. Katsuki didn't do feelings.
“Kacchan....”
“And why wouldn't you let me kiss you? I'm a good kisser,” the blonde huffed as he sat up a bit, wobbling a little. Izuku swallowed, smelling the amount of alcohol on his breath.
“I got scared” Izuku finally squeaked. “That I was dreaming or that it was some sick joke.”
“No more jokes,” Katsuki said as he leaned into Izuku's space. Izuku remained still, staring into red eyes. “I'm serious.”
“Maybe we should be having this concesration when you're sober,” Izuku sighed heavily. He could just be saying this.
But the words that Kirishima spoke rang through his head. Katsuki loved him. But when what had happened back in high school? It didn't make sense unless...
“Done waiting,” Katsuki slurred, his hand laying on Izuku's face, leaning in slowly. “I want to know if you're in this or not.”
Izuku hesiated. He really knew that this conersation was better for when Katsuki was in more sound mind.
He wanted an answer, any answer for that matter, or he wouldn't leave him alone.
Izuku squeezed his eyes shut tight.
“I'm in I'm just scared,” Izuku said quickly. Things went silent them between them. The hand on his cheek remained still. Izuku felt like his heart was going to burst out of his chest.
And then his lips were on his. Izuku's eyes flew open, cheeks bursting a bright red. Katsuki was kissing him.
Katsuki his crush of years, his high school bully, and the man of his dreams, was kissing him!
Drunk or not Izuku didn't want to let this moment get past him. He wrapped his arms around his neck tightly, kissing back as best as he knew how. He never really kissed anyone before.
Katsuki let out a noise and he slid his hand down his side, hoisiting Izuku up against his body and onto his lap.
Izuku's mind was a buzz. This was happening. This was happening so fast. He was scared but deep down he really did want this.
He just wished it was under different circumstances.he wished that Katsuki would know exactly what he was doing right now and it was not just some drunken hallucination.
They pulled for air and Izuku licked his swollen lip a bit, tasting the alcohol that Katsuki had chugged at the party. The blonde had a lazy smile on his face and Izuku flushed even more.
“Told you I was a good kisser,” The blonde slurred a bit.
“Weren't wrong about that,” Izuku sighed, staring at him and shifted on his lap. His scent was a mixuture of happiness and sadness.
But Katsuki's was bursting with emotion. Happy, sad, angry, among other things. The man was a mess. It just made Izuku feel worse.
But that wasn't the reason why he had let him kiss him.
“Waited so long to kiss you. Take our time...” he said, leaning in to Izuku's space once more. Izuku couldn't help but let the blonde kiss him again, letting out a breath as their lips met slowly. Tongues danced with one another, sending shivers down Izuku's spine as his body reacted to the alpha that held him so close.
“You wanna...?” the blonde asked, pulling his lips back from him, thumbs rubbing against the bottom of his shirt.
Izuku shivered again, weighing his options. This could open up a whole can of worms that neither of them were prepared for. Katsuki could forget this whole thing the next day and Izuku would live with the knowledge he let his crush take his first.
Or Katsuki could remember the whole thing and regret it. Izuku could move out of the room and the blonde would never talk to him again.
Izuku would be ruined for anyone else because he would never be able to get the blonde out of his head ever.
There was always the third option where Katsuki remembered and didn't regret it and wanted to go forward with the courting and eventually becoming mates, getting married, and having pups one day in a happily ever after sort of situaton.
That was the least likely of the three....and the others were just screaming at him not to take this chance. To just let it go.
But his selfishness won out. He nodded his head again, locking in his answer.
“Let me know if it's too much,” the blonde said, his eyes heavy as he leaned in again, brushing his lips against Izuku's again. Izuku happily accepted, letting Katsuki lead him back onto the bed into his pillows.
He felt lips on his neck and Izuku's heart felt like I was going to burst out of his chest again. He was breathing heavily, letting Katsuki take the lead until...
He realized Katsuki wasn't even moving.
“Kacchan?” Izuku asked, looking down at the blonde head. He felt the lips against his neck but they weren't moving either. Izuku pushed him a bit and the blonde's head lolled to the side.
His eyes were shut, mouth hanging open against his neck.
And a deep snore came from his chest.
Izuku couldn't help but let out a small snort at that and rest a hand on Katsuki's hair.
That was something he hadn't thought of. Katsuki passing out from his drunk state before anything serious could have happened.
Perhaps it was better this way that Katsuki fell asleep before anything happened. Fate's way of telling him no.
“Rest well Kacchan,” Izuku said, petting his hair more and the blonde let out a noise as he got himself comfy. Izuku paused, realizing that he couldn't get out of the bed with the blonde on top of him. With a sigh he decided to tuck in himself.
The blonde's scent, though tinted with alcohol, was welcoming and he soon fell asleep in the blonde's bed with a content sigh. For now...he was happy.

Don’t Jump in the Water
“Deku, I swear to fuck,” Katsuki warned, eyes blazing.
“But Kacchan,” Izuku pouted back. His hands gestured to the other side of the low wall. “It’s right there!”
“So?”
“It’s hot.”
Katsuki sucked on his teeth and tightened his grip on Izuku’s hand. He was absolutely not letting his boyfriend slip away. This party was fucking lame for sure. Press events usually were, but this one was especially shitty.
Hawks had invited a handful of up and coming heroes to his penthouse apartment. What that fucking bird brain failed to mention was how many cameras and journalists would be here, too. It was exhausting having to be on their best behavior.
Katsuki watched his language. Just because he swore like a sailor didn’t mean the public had to know that. His attitude was enough to put some people off. And Deku…was still struggling to not be so stiff during interviews. He’d gotten way better than their first year at UA.
Now in their Rookie season, the hero duo was trying to make a name for themselves. Well…that actually wasn’t so hard considering their history. But maintaining it was what they had to focus on now.
Izuku tugged on Katsuki’s hand again.
“Stop it.” The blonde hissed as he tried to corral the other man into the air conditioning. “If you’re so damn hot, we’ll go inside.”
Izuku whined. With a quick twist of his wrist, the freckled hero’s fingers unlaced from Katsuki’s. Deku took off running, alarming most of the guests. The Symbol of Peace in full costume running full speed was usually cause for alarm. But right now…
Katsuki growled and shouted after him. “Deku don’t jump in the water!”
But it was too late. Izuku was already flying through the air, knees pulled to his chest. A massive splash echoed on the patio as water exploded everywhere.
When Deku resurfaced, his curls were stuck to his forehead and a smile was plastered on his face. Everything was quiet for a moment.
“What’s the point of a rooftop pool if you don’t use it!” Deku laughed and ran his fingers through unruly curls to push them out of his eyes.
“Oh my God, yes!” Mina groaned in relief and jumped in, too.
Consecutive splashes could be heard as more and more guests followed suit. Laughter rang in the air as cameras flashed in a flurry to capture the scene.
“Now that’s a party!” Hawks grinned and jumped in, too.
“Come on Kacchan!” Deku waved him over.
The blonde shook his head, but couldn’t keep the smirk off his face. His feet carried him to the edge where he turned his back to the pool and let himself fall in. The moment the cool water hit his skin was a massive relief. The sun really was brutal today.
Katsuki resurfaced and shook his head hard. Little droplets sprayed everywhere making others shriek or laugh. He pushed his mask up to push back his hair. Izuku was already in front of him, reaching to wrap his arms around his neck.
“See, it’s better,” Deku laughed.
“Brat!” Katsuki scoffed and bit his cheek. His boyfriend laughed and turned his head to capture his lips in a chaste kiss.

When One For All's final embers died, they didn't go out in a full blaze of glory. There was no massive supervillain fight or even a battle to be won.
When One For All's embers died, it went away like a whisper. Like sand slipping through Izuku's fingertips.
Izuku had been done his best to avoid using OFA as much as possible. He wanted to preserve his embers for as long as possible; not just for his sake but for Kacchan's sake as well. He knew how much Kacchan wanted to keep competing against him as long as possible, so he used it sparingly. Fortunately, the hero course faculty was understanding of that too and allowed him to do a lot of the hero course work without relying on OFA.
Kacchan began spending more of his free time around Izuku in their second and third years. They almost seemed like... best friends. It was a thought that made Izuku's chest feel warm with happiness. He never thought they'd ever be close like this again.
Of course, Kacchan's typical excuse was "I have to keep a closer eye on the embers" even as he asked Izuku to hang out with him. Though, Izuku never dared argue against the excuse and enjoyed every moment he could spend around his childhood friend.
They had just finished up watching a pro hero movie that Izuku wanted to see, and he was excitedly chatting away about it as was typical of him. They left the theater and began their walk back towards U.A.'s campus.
"His Quirk was so cool!" Izuku exclaimed with a bright grin. "Having a teleportation Quirk would be so useful with rescuing civilians!"

Paradigm Shift (Female Izuku AU)
Yagi Toshinori was no stranger to sacrifice, but nothing quite hurt like leaving Inko Midoriya behind at that café. It it had to be done for her safety though.
15 years later, the last thing he expects is to fish a notebook out of a school fountain, only to meet a girl with Inko's hair and his eyes. When she introduces herself as Izumi Midoriya, the truth hits.
He'd given up more than Inko all those years ago.
Now with two relationships he needs to build and repair, Yagi has to learn more than how to be a good teacher, but a father as well...
Starting with how Izumi got that burn on her face. Though the way she flinches tells him he isn't going to like the answer.
Chapter One
Izumi
“Stop it, Kacchan!” I stood between my friend and the boy he'd been bullying, wishing the shaking all but tearing through me would stop. Standing up to him was scary enough without that.
His friends laughed, pointing and jeering. “Aw, look at her. She's so scared, she'll probably pee herself before too long!”
Once upon a time, Kacchan would have gotten angry at someone for saying that to me. A month ago, he would have jumped in, all fire and blazing eyes while threatening anyone who tried to hurt me.That was before, now was…different.
He sneered, miniature explosions gathering in his palm as he lashed out toward me. “Don't try to be a hero, you're just a quirkless piece of trash. A pebble in my way!”
I didn't dodge in time and pain bloomed along my cheek, tears blurring my vision next as I stumbled back, desperately needing space between me and the cruel stranger who'd taken Kacchan's place over the last month.
The boy I'd helped ran without looking back and Kacchan glared after him, eyes all but sparking with the same explosive force as his power. Once he was out of sight, that gaze dropped to me again and I crawled away, cradling the new burn on my jaw.
He didn't let me get far, his hand lashing out with another round of explosions. “You'll never be a hero, not like me!” The shrill words dug in like needles and I ducked, trying to hide most of my face.
Why did I have to be born without a quirk? Everything would be the same as it was if I'd gotten one, even Mom's! Kacchan would still be my friend, I wouldn't have to run from him every day…It wasn't fair!
Curling tighter into myself, I waited for another round of pain. Only, it didn't come.
Instead, Kacchan's voice cracked out with…fear. “What the hell?!”
When nothing happened after a second, I slowly cracked an eye open. Kacchan stood in front of me, his hand hovering between us. He stared at it, his face a mix of angry and terrified as he waved it forcibly through the air. “Why isn't it working?!”
His quirk wasn't working?
Immediately, concern ballooned out, eclipsing my fear and pain. I'd never heard about someone's quirk suddenly disappearing before. Was something wrong with Kacchan?
His eyes widened, fear I'd never seen before glowing off him as he turned to me and spat. “What did you do? Are you contagious or something?!”
His friends backed away as if I were diseased and he warily retreated too. A pang of hurt cut through me before I shook my head. “No, I don't know what's happening!”
He balled his fist and pulled it back, “You have to be the one who did this, you quirkless freak!”
Before he could let the punch fly, an unfamiliar voice cut in. “It wasn't her, you rabid pomeranian. It was me.”
Kacchan stepped back, allowing me to see the form hovering on the edge of the clearing. It was a girl around our age, her dark hair cut roughly at her ears in a jagged line, and her eyes…Her eyes were glowing red. She was erasing Kacchan's quirk.
Fascination burned to the surface under my fear and thousands of questions pushed their way to the front. How did that work? Could she use it on more than one person at a time? That would be amazing for hostage situations or hero work! She was so lucky.
Kacchan turned, forcing me back to the present as he bared his teeth.“I'm not a fruit, you stupid brat! Whatever you're doing, quit it, before I kill you!”
She raised a brow, clearly unimpressed. “Pomeranian isn't a fruit, idiot. It's a dog. And for someone spouting off about being number one hero, you sure talk about killing a lot. Are you sure you're not trying to be a villain?”
Kacchan's fists shook, sweat trailing down them in lines but not igniting, as he clearly wanted it to.“Shut up and give me my quirk back!” His tone shook just a tiny bit and the girl scoffed.
“Why should I? You were just hurting her for being quirkless. Maybe you don't deserve to have a quirk if that's how you treat people who don't have one.”
Kacchan lunged toward her, fist raised with a scream. “I'll force you if you won't do it on your own!”
She sidestepped him and struck, fist colliding with Kacchan's jaw. “If you want your quirk back, then walk away. I hate bullies and I won't let you hurt her again.”
Kacchan stumbled, cradling his cheek now as he eyed her warily. His friends stayed back, clearly afraid of what she could do, and when he noticed that, he scoffed. “You're all nothing but extras, you aren't worth my time.”
He stormed off, his cronies following behind. Once they were gone, I faced the girl and swallowed my tears.“Thanks.”
She walked over and shrugged, offering a hand down to me as her eyes faded from red to black. “It's like I said, I don't like bullies. Are you okay? That looks pretty bad.”
I nodded, ignoring the sting lancing through my cheek. “I'll be okay. You should be careful though, Kacchan will be really mad with you now. If he thinks you're friends with me, it'll only make it worse.”
She helped me up and brushed the dirt off my back with a shrug. “I don't care. He's not scary…not really.”
Her eyes drifted to the side as if she were staring at something only she could see. Something shifted in the air and I nudged her, not liking the sudden heaviness.“Your quirk is really cool, you could use it to help hundreds-no, thousands of people!”
She flushed and shifted between her feet. “I don't think it's that great, I can only use it on one person at a time. Besides,” She looked away and frowned, “Mom doesn't like it when I use it. She gets…really upset.”
Something about how she said it made my skin crawl. She almost seemed afraid, but I had to be wrong. That was her Mom.There was nothing to be scared of, right?
Putting that aside, I took her hand and pulled toward my house. “Well, I think it's really cool.” Biting my lip, I looked down and asked. “If you really don't mind Kacchan, I'd like it if we could be friends. Do you want to play heroes? I have a lot of figurines we can play with, if you promise to be careful with them.”
She hesitated for a second before slowly nodding. “I'd like that.” Then she offered a hand. “I'm Akane. What's your name?”
I took it and shook how Mom showed me. “I'm Izumi, come on. My house isn't that far!”
Mom would probably be worried about the burn though…Running my hand over it, I led the way down the road and asked. “Hey, can you not tell my Mom about this?”
Akane frowned and raised a brow. “Do you think she won't notice a burn on your face?”
Well, when she put it like that…
“Maybe we could just not say who did it? Kacchan is my friend. I don't want to get him in trouble.”
It would only make his sudden anger worse and if I wanted to have my friend back, I couldn't tell Mom.
She grimaced and shook her head. “I don't like this. If he's willing to hurt you and be mean to people, are you sure he's a good friend?”
I bit my lip and looked away. “I know he's mean now, but maybe he'll go back to being my friend soon. Please, just don't tell Mom?”
For a second, I thought she'd refuse, but after a long minute, she nodded with a sigh.“Fine, but I'm not going to let him hurt you.”
She took my hand and smiled. “That's what friends do, right?”
I beamed and nodded. “Right! Let's go home, I have so many All Might action figures to show you.”
I grabbed her hand and ran, Akane following without complaint despite the speed. Excitement bubbled through me and I didn't bother tamping it down.
After Kacchan changed, I wasn't sure I'd ever have a friend again. If he could turn against me like that without warning, anyone could.
But maybe he'd go back to being MY Kacchan soon. In the meantime, I'd made another friend and I couldn't wait to show her all my All Might stuff.

I really like the idea of coming into Izuku’s life after Kacchan has karked it in battle or something, LMAO. Like they’re in their mid-twenties or something and there was (another) awful, world-threatening fight, only this time victory comes with heavy loss and while Kacchan and Izuku went into it, blazing, only Izuku stumbles back out.
I don’t like moving on as a (serious) phrase (it’s fucking stupid 🔪), and I don’t believe in other living breathing human beings being a cure-all for our heartaches, but humans DO need purpose and community and a sense of something, to work towards. And I think Izuku—Izuku who has become one of the Greatest Heroes of his generation and who is surrounded by nothing but light and has achieved so much—would be interesting to write in that position. A position where he has already gone through so much, and is now going through more; mortality. Actual, cold hard mortality. Because how would he deal with it? We make jokes all the time in the fandom—and our niche in particular—that he’s unhinged, but the way I’ve been reading canon Deku is that he is learning (he’s actively teaching himself) that he has to hold out to his fierce belief that he will always find a way to save people. And how do you reconcile that with Death??? And Kacchan’s Death, no less? Who’s already had so many scares, as a kid—let alone whatever they’ll face as actual Pros. Will Deku ever accept death gracefully? Would he ever accept any of his friends deaths gracefully? Would he fall to pieces or throw himself into his work?
Idk. It’d be interesting to write it, by throwing our beloved Y/N into the mix—how do you handle (slowly, because I think this Izuku would be a slow-burn) falling in love, which is so vibrant and life-affirming and a world away from the isolation and tunnel-vision of grief? Idk! Idk. MUCH to think about. 🧐
#me at 8am: hmmmm… what if……. this? :)#floating rubbish island: mermaid spam#idk I reckon id keep the bookiedookie vibes ambiguous too just to really ramp things up lmao but I reckon you could like#make a case study out of either a platonic interpretation or a romantic one#you are holding onto a nameless grief: merms sad hours

I pretty much blazed through the provisional license exam arc (it’s sandwiched between the end of All Might and Deku vs Kacchan Pt 2 and there is just so much bkdk to process, I can’t help it) BUT there really is so much incredible content here and also Kaminari Denki is GOAT and no I do not take criticism
#mha#mha rewatch#denki kaminari#just the easy way he is with everyone#the way he’s not the quickest on the uptake but he is the only one left fighting Meatball#and he catches very quickly on to Bakugo’s plan#the way he is super friendly with his classmates#the way he’s just so funny

They Fell in Love in October
May: Right as rain June: Summer Loving July: Realization
Chapter 3: The storm hits
May 2xxx
Speaking to Izuku alone proved to be difficult. Katsuki was becoming restless over Izuku's lack of presence. And honestly? Emi missed Izuku.
Guilt was eating her alive. She had to tell Katsuki what she had done.
She texted Katsuki and let him know they had to talk when he got home from work. She was determined to fix it, even if Katsuki got upset with her for asking such a question. For making Izuku not to want to be around.
She missed her friend, she missed when they could hang out and have self care days. But most importantly she missed seeing the way Katsuki glowed when Izuku was around, after they hung out. How he'd be happy for days.
It was like the gods heard her prayers because when she arrived home, Izuku sat outside the apartment door, head hung. She rushed to him concerned that something bad happened to him.
"Izuku??" She called as she crouched in front of him and when he looked up. He flung himself into her arms "Izu, what's the matter honey"
"I miss you" he whispered "Im sorry"
She was shocked, what did he have to be sorry for?
"Huh?"
"I'm sorry ive been avoiding you and Kacchan" he said "Your question caught me so off guard. I felt.. I thought that maybe you thought I was going to make moves on Kacchan... so i gave you guys space, gave kacchan and you space"
He hugged her tighter and she could only return the hug.
"I'm sorry" she said "I didn't mean to make you feel that way. It was just curiosity. I dont think youd do something like that"
She squeezed him. Not knowing how to explain why she asked without confessing for Katsuki, who by the way had no idea he had feelings for the man she was hugging.
"Y-you just seem to light up a lot more around Katsuki, more than you do around Shindo '' she said "I thought maybe you had a crush. I wouldn't be upset if you did. He lights up around you too"
She laughs its watery, she is tearing up not because it hurts to say. But it was a breath of fresh air to admit that she wasn't upset that Katsuki was falling for someone else.
Izuku shook his head, hiding his face in the crook of her neck.
"Emi I could never" he whispered,
He sounded unsure and Emi knew that Izuku was trying to convince himself more than anything. And it made her smile, Katsuki's feelings were reciprocated.
"If you are sure," she answered. "Want to come in? We have a self care night. Order some food"
They pulled away and Izuku smiled "or we can make Kacchan make katsudon"
Emi grinned evilly "Of course we can!"
When Katsuki got home, he was confused at first, but upon sight of Emi doing make up on Izuku he didn't even care anymore.
Emi laughed hard, when Katsuki stuttered and became flustered looking at Izuku with a smokey eye and red lips.
"OI! DID YOU COVER HIS FRECKLES?" Katsuki yelled, gripping Izuku's face.
They were so close, Izuku flushed red and Emi never wanted to so badly shove two people kiss till right then.
People must think she is crazy for this, for not being angry and hurt. How could she be? If what she was witnessing was so beautiful?
"No I did not! Look" Emi replied slapping Katsuki's hands away
"Oh" he said "Good I like them, y-you look nice" Katsuki flushed red from his neck to his ear.
Emi could only giggle as Izuku turned to her eyes widened and as red as a tomato.
How could she be angry and hurt when these two didn't realize their feelings? When these two were helpless...
Emi decided she should help.
June 2xxx
The summer slapped everyone in the face including spring. It wasn't a slow transition into the hot weather like usual summer came in like a wrecking ball, guns blazing.
With summer, Izuku was back. Emi couldn't have been more happy. Katsuki was happy too, more than happy. She and Katsuki didn't even speak that day. They didn't need to, everything was back to normal.
Currently they were on the roof of their building, using the pool.
"KACCHAN DON'T LET ME GO" Izuku screamed, clinging to Katsuki for life.
Katsuki was trying to teach Izuku how to swim.
"I'm not nerd" Katsuki laughed
Emi was reading a book in the shade, while watching the idiots in love play in the water.
Izuku had been spending a lot of time with them, Emi wasn't complaining. But Emi could tell Izuku was avoiding someone.
Izuku's phone was vibrating next to her and she looked up to see the two staring intensely into each other's eyes. Izuku was wet and by the grin on Katsuki's face she could tell he was the cause.
Gods how she wanted them to kiss. She thought at the time she might've been sick for wanting her boyfriend to kiss someone else. But looking back now she just wanted them happy, she wanted Katsuki happy. If you asked why she stayed if she knew, she would just shrug. She had not known why she stayed, but she likes to think it was to make sure they got together.
Like a fairy godmother of love.
The phone was vibrating again and she hated that she had to ruin the moment but if it was important she didn't want Izuku to miss it.
"Zu! Your phone is ringing" she yelled holding the object
Both heads snapped to her and Katsuki created distance between them.
Izuku coughed his face slightly red "Oh?? Who is it?"
She squinted as looked "Shindo"
Immediately Izuku rolled his eyes "Let it ring"
"What? Not talking to your lover boy?" Katsuki said with jealousy showing through.
"Not right now, no."
Later they found out Izuku caught Shindo talking with other people online, as if he were in a relationship with them. Katsuki was beyond the word pissed and Emi, she wasn't one for violence but boy she did wanna beat the shit out of Shindo.
Her little sunshine deserved better, he deserved Katsuki.
The brooding storm was just about ready to downpour.
July 2xxx
The storm had finally hit and hit hard. Emi thought it was gone but no. The downpour was here.
For the past few weeks, Katsuki and Izuku had been at odds. For what? Emi had no idea, neither male would tell her about the issue.
She called it a lovers quarrel.
Katsuki called it a friendship fight. Friends fight all the time, but not like this Emi thought.
Izuku said "Kacchan just concerned and I appreciate it but I can make my own choices"
Emi agreed. Izuku was grown, and smart if anyone knew what was best for him was him. She knew Katsuki was concerned for him, it was sweet and endearing but Katsuki needed to back up or it would blow up in his face and she tried to tell him.
Katsuki did not listen, it blew up in his face.
She found Katsuki banging, banging, so hard on Izuku's door one evening after a night out with her friends. She swore he was going to dent it.
"Kats, sweetie, what are you doin?" She questioned
"IZUKU OPEN THE FUCKIN DOOR" He roared banging even harder
"Kats!" Emi yelled trying to pull him away.
The door swung open and a done up Izuku stepped out. He looked /pissed/, he flashed Emi a quick smile and then glared at Katsuki.
"Deku, don't tell me you are going on a date with him," Katsuki said.
"So what if i am Katsuki" Izuku said
And Katsuki flinched at the use of his name even Emi flinched. Katsuki has only ever been Kacchan.
"He isn't good for you," Katsuki tried to reason.
Emi then knew what they had been fighting about.
Shindo.
Katsuki's jealousy had finally fully risen to the surface and he could no longer contain it. Katsuki's feelings were overflowing.
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR ME!" Izuku yelled
Katsuki had no words for that. And Izuku looked at Emi with pleading eyes and she grabbed Katsuki.
"Katsuki, lets go" she pulled him toward their apartment
Izuku left without a goodbye. Emi & Katsuki sat in their apartment in awkward silence.
"What was that about?" She asked when the silence felt like it was going to choke her.
"He got back together with Shindo" he answered after a minute of silence
"I gathered that" she said "That's why you've been fighting?"
He nods "He isn't good for him, he might not have cheated physically but emotionally he did and I think that's worst"
Emi agreed. That was worst, but Izuku was a big boy, he could make his own choices. Even if they thought they were bad ones.
"Kats, why does that bother you?"
Katsuki stayed silent before he yelled "Because he isnt going to treat him right. He isnt going to love izuku right!"
"If not Shindo then who?" Emi knew what she was doing when she asked.
There was no better moment to make Katsuki realize his feelings than right now.
The response quick and with no hesitation
"Me".
A beat before Katsuki looked at Emi horrified. Emi smiled tears in her eyes because finally he realized his feelings.
Katsuki and Emi cried that night for hours. Katsuki cried because he felt he had done something wrong, that he had hurt her. She cried because she couldn't have been further from hurt.
She was happy. She wiped his tears with a bright smile
"Remember how you said you always felt like something was missing?" She asked
And he nodded
"It's him. Katsuki. He is the your missing piece"

In shadows once lost, a fiery soul did sleep, In battles past, his presence buried deep. But now, reborn, with thunder in his gaze, Bakugo Katsuki emerges from the haze.
A phoenix rising, fierce and unafraid, To save his friends, in the final war's cascade. Explosions loud, like thunder's mighty roar, He'll stand beside them, now and evermore.
With passion burning, heart and soul ignites, The hero's spirit, he reclaims his rights. To shield his comrades from the darkest night, Bakugo's return, a brilliant, blazing light.
In battles fierce, together they shall soar, For in their bonds, their strength they'll restore. With Bakugo at the helm, glory's within grasp, In this ultimate battle, they'll triumph at last. idk what I'm doing, I'm just happy he's back ♥
Now this is a perfect poem for kacchan
