Cigarette hung loosely from parted lips. Smoke wanders adrift at the rise and fall of his chest as he took a seamless breath, ankles crossed where his boots rest upon the table. Spike sat quiet, even considered patient as he inclined his ear towards his comrade in this moment of rancor. He caught how Jet chooses to substitute the true identity of their feminine associate with the term ‘woman’, as if the mere taste of her name, teased on his tongue, would make him retch up bile in disgust. But the young hunter couldn’t blame the older gent’s vexation of the current situation at hand because he, too, could perceive how Faye was shamelessly projecting her easy adjustment to life on the Bebop.

Both arms had spread out on the back of the sofa, eyes sealed shut, his annoyance visibly hinted as the end of his brow twitches. ❝ Yea, well I've noticed plenty already, pard. ❞ His remark pertained to a few framed paintings that clung to the walls of the common room, oh-! Can’t forget the extravagant porcelain vase that mysteriously appeared on the table one day, which Spike could bet on his money that thieving vixen didn’t have the funds to afford.

He starts again with a huff of smoke as he raises his head to stare at Jet, single eyebrow quirked higher than the other as the cigarette bounced around his words. ❝ That woman been a real pain in the neck. You just gonna let her do whatever the hell she wants to our ship? If she has the money to get this junk she should at least contribute to things like food. ❞ Unless she’s hiding some and choosing not to share, he mused. Who knows where else this behavior could potentially lead to if she was allowed more freedom to adorn their ship with a woman’s touch.
