Thank you so much!🌹 @cookieswithforksandknifes and @ant-thebooknerd for tagging me.
Get-into-it questions
If I was at a concert: I would definitely like to be a singer. I have always dreamed of having my own concert where I can sing my heart out 💕 (Don't worry, my voice is not bad!)
Biggest pet peeve : I always start clicking a ballpoint pen whenever I sit to study. I can't seem to stop myself 😭 ( my mum is very annoyed by this )
Biggest insecurity about yourself: My body and looks. I am a glasses girl so...you know, it's kind of embarrassing wearing them among my friends who can see very well. And also, my body is very curvy so that's a big insecurity ( I am sorry if I annoyed someone 😶 )
What's your favourite quality about yourself? : I love making people happy. I love the smiles and laughs so much that I am unable to bear silence and the grumpy faces🌟
Any pets ( current or previous ):
I have fishes!!! Lots of them!!! Almost 30 in total. 10 are Goldfish, 5 are Clownfish, 10 Angelfish and 5 sharks.
Also, there is a starfish ⭐ and a turtle 🐢 ( I love all of them so much 💞)
Favourite season: I like rainy season. 🌧️ The smell and touch of raindrops feels fascinating 😍
Job you want to have: I have never thought about a serious job but I really want to own a bookstore in the future with hundreds and thousands of books all around me 📚 The thought seems very thrilling!!!
Favourite thing you own: I have a collection of handmade bookmarks which I adore the most. Plus, the Shatter Me book set. ( I almost killed my brother since he touched it with dirty hands 🔪 )
If you could buy one thing in this entire world ( price or size doesn't matter ) what would you buy? :
I would love to buy the companies Rockstar Games and Electronic Arts. It would be a dream come true!!!

Hi, sweetie, everything alright? I have a request for Aaron if you don't mind...
I would like something where the reader is sick, one day she woke up with dizziness and a headache but didn't tell Aaron so as not to worry him, and maybe, when she was with Kenji and Aaron away from her the reader feels really sick? basically, something cute about Aaron taking care of the reader(and a little cute and concerned best friend kenji)
Thanks!!🤍
Never A Nuisance
Aaron Warner x Fem!Reader
Summary: Food poisoning from a bad sushi. Your boyfriend, Aaron, and best friend, Kenji, weren't exactly friends. One house, one thought of not wanting to worry them. What could possibly go wrong?
Author's Note: This was fun, so thank you for this request! :) Enjoy!

“Princess!” Kenji called out from the living room. “Are you coming or not? The movie is ready!”
You sat at the edge of the tub, hanging your head low. The throbbing headache you have been feeling since you woke up this morning had been killing you all day. However, you and Kenji already had made plans for today. Aaron was at work, and you certainly didn’t need to bother him either, especially that he has been stressed out with a lot of things.
“I’m coming!” You yelled out, pinching the bridge of your nose.
You couldn’t sleep well last night due to the fact that your stomach had been killing you. You couldn’t bear to let Aaron know because you knew he was going to be up early for work, and you didn’t need to disturb his sleep either. The cause of your headache was due to the lack of sleep and the fact that you were hungry, but you couldn’t even look at food right now without wanting to hurl. You knew you shouldn’t have eaten that sushi yesterday for lunch. It had been a while since you had some, and you just wanted to fill your cravings, especially that it was also your time of the month.
Getting up from the edge of the tub, you splashed your face with some water from the sink and stared at yourself in the mirror. You looked pale. You slowly feel a fever coming in, but you had to go through with this. Besides, you would just be sitting on the sofa, watching a movie. You didn’t need to worry Kenji either. Walking out of the bathroom, you tried to balance yourself as you slowly walked down the hall and into the living room.
“Popcorn?” Kenji smiled excitedly, handing you the bowl of popcorn.
You felt your stomach turned as you stared at it. You gave him a small fake smile and grabbed the bowl before settling yourself on the sofa.
“What movie is this?” You asked.
“Tangled.” Kenji replied, settling comfortably next to you.
You slowly turned your head at Kenji, giving him a glare. This was the fifth time you both watched this movie, and you honestly weren’t in the mood for a happy sunshine kind of movie at the moment.
“No.” You stated sternly. “I’m not watching this again!”
“I thought you liked it?”
“Not for the fifth time.” You argued, reaching over for the remote.
As you bent over towards the coffee table, you felt your stomach turn again as you clasped a hand over your mouth. Kenji stared at you for a moment, brows furrowing.
“Are you okay, Princess?” He asked.
“Y…Yeah. Sorry.” You said, grabbing the remote and as soon as you sat back on the sofa, your head started to spin.
Swallowing everything that was starting to come up in your throat, you focused your attention on the television screen, scrolling through the variety of movies. You forced your eyes to stay open, blinking a few times to wake yourself up. However, you felt Kenji’s stare burning at the side of your face, and you knew he was trying to figure out if you were actually telling him the truth or not. Picking out a horror movie, you settled comfortably on the sofa, using a pillow to support your head and forced yourself to eat the bowl of popcorn that was sitting on your lap.
For a moment, Kenji focused his attention on the television and after fifteen minutes that passed by, you started to feel the sushi from yesterday coming up in your throat again. You reached for the glass of water and drank it slowly before putting down the bowl of untouched popcorn on the coffee table. You felt Kenji’s eyes shift at you again. He knew something was wrong because not only you weren’t eating the popcorn—which was your favorite— you weren’t also very talkative like you usually were.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” Kenji asked.
“Fine.” You replied, running your fingers through your hair.
It was starting to feel hot.
Your body was heating up, but your toes and fingers were ice cold. You couldn’t understand what you were feeling right now, and your head started to spin again as you slightly moved your body to find a comfortable position. Kenji moved closer to you, his eyes squinting as he stared at your flushed red ears.
“You’re sick!” He exclaimed, a hand immediately rested on your forehead. “Oh my god! You’re burning up!”
“I’m fine, Kenji!” You swatted his hand away, moving your head away from his touch but that only made you more dizzy.
“No, you’re not. You’re burning up!”
You watched as Kenji got up from the sofa and panicked washed over him. He handed you the glass of water, asking you to drink the whole thing before running towards the kitchen to search for some medicine. You sighed and laid yourself on the sofa, rubbing your temples. The loud cluttering that was going on in the kitchen only made your head spin even more. You closed your eyes and exhaled sharply. You didn’t know how long Kenji had been in the kitchen, panicking and opening and closing the cupboards and drawers. Time seemed to freeze at the moment as you felt your stomach turn again as you set your hand over it. Kenji’s panic state wasn’t helping you at all.
“Kenji.” You called out, but your voice was too weak.
Feeling the vomit coming up in your throat again, you clasped a hand over your mouth and quickly got up from the sofa. All Kenji heard was your footsteps running towards the bathroom and then the sound of you hurling out all the food that you ate yesterday. Your face flushed and so did your body. You felt your chest heaving as you groaned softly and wiped your mouth with the back of your hand. You sat on the bathroom floor, closing your eyes and leaned back against the tub.
Everything felt like shit.
You didn’t know how long you were sitting there but suddenly, you heard rapid footsteps coming from down the hall and the bathroom door swung open. Opening your eyes, you saw Aaron walk in the door with his expression full of worry.
“Love,” He murmured, immediately kneeling down in front of you. “What happened?”
Your eyes shifted at Kenji, who stood behind Aaron by the doorway.
“You called him?” You asked, your voice so low, but Kenji could hear the tone of frustration in your voice.
“I had to!” Kenji shrugged, his eyes widened. “I didn’t know what was happening! Jesus Christ, Princess! I was so scared!”
“I told you, I’m fine—” You couldn’t even finish your sentence as you went back on your knees and vomited on the toilet again.
All you heard was Kenji groaning in disgusts as Aaron gently rubbed your back and held your hair back. You didn’t want both of them to see you like this. It was disgusting, and you felt disgusting. Your mouth tasted so foul at this point from all the vomit, and it made you even more nauseous.  Aaron handed you a towel to wipe your mouth as he continued to rub your back softly. You watched as Kenji handed Aaron the glass of water as Aaron helped you, holding the glass and slowly letting you drink it.
“Kenji, could you go to the store and get her some medicine? Also, some soup and gatorade.” Aaron said. “She needs some electrolytes.”
“Yeah, I’m on it.”
Just like that, Kenji was gone, and your back was against the wall, your head resting against it. You closed your eyes and tried to breathe slowly. You didn’t want Aaron to see you like this, so grotesque and repulsive. You also didn’t want to bother him either. He was already stressed. Once you feel better, you’re definitely going to kill Kenji for doing this to you.
“I’m sorry.” You whispered, staring at Aaron.
He was silent for a moment, his piercing green eyes were full of worry as he stared at you. He then slowly shook his head and wiped your mouth one more time with the towel. His silence was killing you. You didn’t know what he was thinking, and all the possible thoughts that you thought he might be thinking right now was eating you up slowly.
“Please say something.” You said.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” He asked, brushing a strand of hair away from your forehead. “How long have you been feeling like this?”
“Since last night.” You sighed. “I ate some bad sushi for lunch and ever since then, my stomach had been hurting and I got a throbbing headache because I couldn’t sleep last night, and I didn’t want to bother you because you’re all stressed and—”
Aaron repeatedly shook his head and said, “There’s nothing more important in this world than you, love.”
You stared at him. His words made your heart swell. It tugged on your heartstrings as he cupped your face with his hands.
“Stress or not stress… Even if I’m sick myself or I’m a hundred miles away, I will always put you first.”
“Aaron…”
“There’s nothing you could do for me to prioritize you first, always.” Aaron added. “No matter what the situation is, you’re my first priority, you understand?”
You nodded your head, leaning against his touch as he softly brushed your cheek with his fingers. He could feel the heat that was radiating through your body, and he stared at your pale lips for a moment, tracing the outline with his finger.
“How did you get here so fast?” You asked.
“I was just around the corner when Kenji called. I was gonna go home early to surprise you, so we can have a nice dinner.” Aaron gave you a small smile. “I brought your favorite flowers. Pink peonies.”
You couldn’t help but give him a small weak smile. If it wasn’t for your breath being so disgusting and foul right now, you would have grabbed him already and kissed him for being so sweet. You couldn’t explain what it was when it came to him, but he always made you feel so safe and protected. Even if he was just standing there next to you, or his presence was just in the room. Aaron knew you could handle yourself pretty well without him but that didn’t stop him to still take care of you and put you first.
“C’mon…” He whispered, getting up from the floor, scoping you up and carrying you in his arms.
He gently set you down on the bed as your cold fingers touched his cheek. His eyes immediately went dim as soon as he felt your cold touch. He didn’t like seeing you sick and the fact that he couldn’t do anything to take your pain away was killing him. Taking your hands in his, he pressed a soft kiss on your fingers before rubbing them softly to keep them warm.
“You’re cold.” He said.
“Mhmm…” You closed your eyes, marveling at his touch.
“Get some rest, love.” Aaron pulled the duvet close to your chest before planting a soft kiss on your forehead.
As you slowly fluttered your eyes closed, Aaron got up from the bed and grabbed the heating pad and quietly entered back in the bedroom. Carefully, he pulled the duvet away from your body and rested the heating pad on your stomach. He smiled softly as you stirred and a soft hum escaped from you. Gently tucking you back in, he walked out of the bedroom and closed the door behind him quietly.
In the kitchen, he found Kenji just arriving back from the store. Aaron couldn’t help but chuckle softly from the image of Kenji in front of him. His face was flushed, and it looked like he ran a mile from the way he was breathing at the moment.
“Did you drive or did you run to the store?” Aaron teased.
“Shut up.” Kenji rolled his eyes as he started taking out all the stuff from the grocery bag.
“You never had to take care of Nazeera when she’s sick?” Aaron asked, grabbing the can of soup from the kitchen counter.
Kenji shrugged and said, “That woman never gets sick. I… I got scared there for a moment.”
Aaron turned the stove on and started making the soup as he shook his head. His back was turned to Kenji, while Kenji stared at him for a moment. His mind was still running a million thoughts. He never saw you like this before, and it turned on his panic mode. He didn’t know what was wrong. He didn’t know what you needed to feel better.
“I thought… nevermind.” Kenji bit his lower lip.
“What?” Aaron looked over his shoulder, brows all furrowed.
“Nothing.”
“Stop torturing me and just say what’s on your mind, Kishimoto.” Aaron shook his head as he looked back at the soup he was making on the stove.
“I thought she was pregnant or something.”
Aaron immediately snapped his head back towards him, his green eyes wide in surprise, “What?”
Kenji saw the look that washed over Aaron’s face. It was a shock expression but at the same time, the idea of it didn’t make him afraid. It softened his green eyes even more. Relaxed his shoulders for the first time since Kenji has known him. He didn’t realize Aaron wasn't opposed to that idea, especially from the way Kenji had known him. Always cold and stiff.
“I don’t know, man. I was panicking. She was vomiting, and I thought there’s something wrong. I mean don’t you vomit or something if you’re pregnant?”
Aaron couldn’t help but laugh. An actual laugh that Kenji never heard before. Dimples and everything.
The man had dimples!
“She has her period right now, you idiot.” Aaron’s voice sounded so amused. “It didn’t exactly help that she ate bad sushi yesterday.”
“Oh.” That was all Kenji could manage as he leaned against the kitchen counter.
For a moment, he watched Aaron prepare your soup and chopped up some vegetables and other things and cooked them. Kenji could smell the delicious aroma that started to fill up the kitchen. He didn’t even know that Aaron could cook. Not just cook. He could plate it really well too. All fancy and shit like the way they did in the restaurants.
“Okay, chef.” Kenji teased.
“One of the things my mother taught me.” Aaron murmured as he finished up your plate.
Aaron gazed up at Kenji and slid a plate towards him. Kenji stared at the food in front of him for a moment and then gazed back up at Aaron.
“I can’t eat this.” Kenji said.
“You saw me cooking it. I didn’t poison it.” Aaron argued back.
“It looks too pretty to eat it.” Kenji commented.
“Don’t act like you’re not hungry.” Aaron rolled his eyes, brushing off the discreet compliment that Kenji gave him. “I know how you are with food. You eat like a wild animal.”
Taking a piece of vegetable, Kenji took a bite of it and held in his smile. Aaron knew he liked it, and he was forcing himself to not show it in front of him. Picking up his fork, Kenji started eating the rest of the food as Aaron shook his head and started cleaning up the kitchen counters.
“Thank you.” Aaron said as soon as he finished cleaning, looking back at Kenji.
The silence that was blanketing the room was slowly killing him. Kenji gazed up at him, processing what Aaron was trying to thank him for. Then, he saw the genuine in his eyes and realized that he was actually being serious.
“Of course, I care about her. She’s literally my best friend.” Kenji nodded.
Another silence blanketed between them until—
“Aaron?”
Both of their heads turned at the same time towards the direction of the bedroom as soon as they heard your voice. You were awake, and Aaron immediately dropped the towel and washed his hands.
“I got the dishes.” Kenji offered as Aaron grabbed the plate of food that he made for you and placed it on a tray.
Staring at the ceiling, you blinked your eyes a few times to get rid of the sleep. Your headache was slowly fading away, and you had forgotten the memory of how you got back in your bed. You were still in pain when it came to your stomach, and you could feel another round of vomit coming up. Then, you heard the door open to find Aaron holding a tray of food. A small smile tugged on his lips.
“Hey, love.” He sets the tray next to you before stroking your hair softly. “How are you feeling?”
“I… need…” You clasped a hand over your mouth and Aaron’s eyes widened as he quickly ran out to grab a bucket for you.
It didn’t take long for him to come back as he held the bucket in front of you, one hand clutching on your hair, while you vomited again. Aaron set the bucket down on the floor as soon as you were finished, grabbing the fresh towel and wiping your mouth gently.
“God, I’m so sorry.” You whispered as Aaron gently helped you sit up on the bed, your back leaning against the headboard.
“Don’t apologize, love.” He murmured, “It’ll pass. I promise.”
He handed you a glass of water as you took a big sip of it. You sighed and closed your eyes for a moment, shaking your head. Your headache was slowly fading, but you were still dizzy, and you just wanted this feeling to be over.
“I didn’t want you to worry or be such an inconvenience. You already have a lot on your plate.”
Aaron moved himself from the edge of the bed and scooted himself over next to you, his arm wrapping around your shoulders as he pulled you close to his chest. You exhaled a sharp breath, breathing him in. He smelled so fresh and nice, and his warm body was making you feel so sleepy. You felt warm and safe.
You were home.
“Didn’t I tell you that you’re always my first priority, love?” Aaron murmured. “You’re never a nuisance to me. Ever.”
You pressed your face on his chest as you closed your eyes, your arm wrapping around his torso as you clung to him. You could stay in his arms forever.
“Thank you.” You whispered.
“I love you.” Aaron smiled, kissing your forehead.
There was a comfortable silence for a moment as you slowly started falling back to sleep. Your breathing started to steady as Aaron rubbed your arm softly that made you even sleepier until you heard Kenji’s familiar voice that made you snap your eyes open.
“How is she?” Kenji asked.
Aaron felt your body jolt in surprise as you opened your eyes. You blinked a few times and saw Kenji standing by the doorway, sliding on his jacket. Aaron shook his head and gave Kenji a death glare for waking you up.
“You never use your brain do you, Kishimoto?” Aaron said, irritation hinting at his voice.
“Sorry, I thought she was awake.”
You lifted your head from Aaron’s chest, brows furrowing. You didn’t realize Kenji was still here. This whole time, he was here and Aaron was here, and the house didn’t burn down? That was impossible for your brain to comprehend even if you were sick. Did they have an actual conversation out there, or did they just stare at each other? For sure, you would have woken up if they had started beating each other up in the living room.
“You’re still here?” You asked.
“Unfortunately.” Aaron pinched the bridge of his nose.
Kenji gave Aaron a side eye before giving you a small smile and said, “Of course. I wanted to make sure you were okay.”
You couldn’t help but smile at your best friend. He truly was the sweetest thing. Although, you didn’t mean to make him panic earlier. You saw his reaction, and he looked like a lost little puppy.
“Thank you. I’ll be okay.” You said, giving him a small reassuring smile. “Even if I’m still upset with you for making that phone call.”
Kenji chuckled softly, “Whatever you say, Princess. I’ll get going. I’m sure Warner could handle it from here.”
You nodded your head as Kenji nodded his head at Aaron before walking away. You shifted your eyes at both men and saw the look on their faces. Almost like a silent understanding between them two, and you couldn’t help but wonder what happened between them when you were asleep.
“I think he almost had a heart attack earlier.” You giggled softly, burying your face in Aaron’s neck.
“You should have seen him when he came back from the store.” Aaron laughed softly.
You grinned and planted a soft kiss on his neck. Aaron felt your lashes tickle his neck as you closed your eyes. Being in his arms made you feel slightly better. It was almost like his presence was like a drug to you that you couldn't seem to understand, but you were so drunk in it. You just wanted this forever. You just wanted to stay in his arms like this forever.
“You should eat, love. I made you some food.” Aaron whispered.
However, you were struggling to keep your eyes open. You were exhausted from vomiting so much. The thought of food was still making you nauseous, and the heating pad that Aaron had set on your stomach had helped the pain to slowly fade away. Aaron rubbed your arm softly, and it gave you even more comfort. As he gazed down at you, he couldn’t help but smile when he found you asleep peacefully in his arms.
“Sweet dreams, love.” He whispered, kissing your hair. “I’ll be here when you wake up.”
The End.

Ghost of Father's Past
Aaron Warner x Fem!Reader
Summary: It's Aaron's birthday and well... the past is still calling him, unfortunately.
Author's Note: Work has been really crazy, so I apologize for this little dry fic. I just wanted to do something for Aaron's birthday, so here it is.
Wordcount: 2.2K
Tumblr media
You haven’t seen Aaron all day.
It wasn’t like you mind it because you also have been busy all day. It was his birthday, the one day that you knew he loved to avoid. So, you weren’t really surprised that he had locked himself in his office. The only time you have seen him was when you woke up this morning. He was already in his suit, tying his tie when you had fluttered your eyes open. For a moment, you just enjoyed the view that was in front of you before he turned around and saw you staring at him. Immediately, a small smile tugged on his lips.
“Good morning, love.” He murmured, letting his knee sunk into the mattress and hovered over you, giving you a soft kiss on the lips.
“Happy Birthday.” You whispered, caressing his cheek softly.
You saw his eyes suddenly dimmed when you mentioned it. He just gave you a soft hum and leaned down to kiss you again. You knew that he hated thinking about his birthday. He hated celebrating it because of the violent abuse he had faced from his father during his birthdays. This was his first birthday since his father died, and you wanted him to have a different memory. You wanted to replace the terrible memories from his past birthdays into good, happy ones.
So, when he had prisoned himself in his office for the rest of the day, you knew that he had occupied himself with work. You took that opportunity and decided to prepare something special in the dining room. You decorated it with different colored balloons, cooked his favorite food and even ordered him a birthday cake. It was his first birthday cake in his life, and you wanted it to be special.
You wanted everything to be special.
“I have been better.”
You looked over your shoulder as you set the food that you just finished cooking on the dining table. Aaron’s voice echoed quietly through his office door. You furrowed your brows and wondered if he was on the phone. As you continued to finish setting the table, you realized that it was already late afternoon. Aaron was still in his office, and he hadn't come out once. In fact, he didn’t even bother coming out to have lunch. You have occupied yourself too much the whole day that you were just now realizing that you haven’t seen him since this morning.
“I don’t need your validation.”
You heard Aaron’s voice again through his office door. This time, he sounded angry and frustrated. Then the moment you looked over your shoulder, you saw him stormed out of the office and into the bedroom. Finishing what you were doing, you quietly walked down the hall and into the bedroom. You wondered if he was talking to someone on the phone that made him stressed and angry.
Pushing the door open, you saw Aaron had his back against the headboard and his knuckles digging into his eyes. He looked stressed, and you didn’t know what to do or say to be able to comfort him.
“Aaron?” You whispered, slowly walking up to him.
“What is it?” He asked, his voice cold.
“Are you okay?”
He exhaled a sharp breath and sat up straight on the bed. His green eyes were dark, and you could see the frustration that was washing over his face. He ran his fingers through his blond hair and exhaled a deep sharp breath.
“I just need space.” He said. “Work is stressful right now.”
You pursed your lips, hesitating whether to move closer to him or not. You knew it wasn’t work that was stressing him out. It was this day, and you didn’t want to bother adding more stress for him. Although, you also wanted to be there for him. So, you were currently debating in your head what to do.
“Maybe you should try taking a break for today.” You suggested.
Aaron sighed and got up from the bed and fixed his suit. He stared into your eyes, and you could see the coldness that was washing over him. It was almost like you couldn’t find the Aaron that you knew. This was the Aaron that he would show to other people. Not to you.
“I can’t.” He murmured, his breath hitching. “I have to finish this.”
“Aaron.” You gave him a worried look. “What can I do to help?”
“I… need to just be alone right now.” He said, stepping forward.
“Aaron, please. Talk to me.” You begged.
“Love,” you felt your back pressed against the door, his hand pressed against it next to your head as he looked deep into your eyes. “Please… just go.”
You held in your emotions and the knot that was slowly forming in your stomach as you stared into his eyes before walking out of the bedroom. You grabbed your keys and walked out the front door, feeling your heart break into pieces as you entered your car. You tried to understand him today because you knew that it was a hard day for him, but you wished you could just do something. You wished you could take all of his pain away. You just wanted to be there for him.
You wanted to make him feel better.
But instead, he was closing himself off.
You drove around the neighborhood for a little while, hoping to clear your mind until you had to go and pick up the cake for him from the store. It wasn’t the end of the day yet. You still had time to make things better. To make this birthday of his more special than the ones he had before.
“How does this look, miss?” One of the workers from the bakery carried the cake and showed it to you.
You smiled slightly and stared at the cake. It had white frosting and a writing that said, “Happy Birthday, Aaron!” in red icing. You nodded your head at the lady as she gave you a smile back before packing the cake in a box. Walking out of the store, the sun was slowly setting in the horizon. It had been an hour since you left the house, and you could feel yourself starting to feel a little hungry.
You just hoped Aaron was okay.
Entering the house, it was quiet. The lights from the kitchen illuminated the hall, and you saw his office door was still closed. Setting the cake inside the fridge, you went into the bedroom and changed into the dress that you bought that you thought he would love seeing you wear. Then, a sudden crash coming from his office caught your attention.
“Aaron?” You ran towards his office and knocked on the door.
As soon as you opened the door, you were greeted by documents scattered all over the floor. The office was a mess, and you saw him lean his back against the wall in the corner and slid his body down on the floor. He was breathing heavily as he pulled his knees closed to his chest. You slowly walked towards him, sitting next to him on the floor with worried eyes.
“You… left.” Aaron breathed heavily.
“I just needed to pick up something.” You studied his facial features. “Aaron, talk to me, please.”
Aaron rested his head back against the wall and closed his eyes, exhaling a sharp breath. You waited until he was ready to talk. He carefully opened his eyes and hung his head low.
“My father…” He murmured. “He always thought I was weak. He would do… things to make sure I become stronger.”
You felt your heart swell for him. It wasn’t things that Anderson did. It was whipping him to “punish” him for being so weak. As time went on, you kept thinking about it, and you wondered if Anderson did it to entertain himself too because that psychopathic man loved seeing his son suffer.
The thought of it made your body tremble in anger.
“When he died, I felt so guilty and feeling that guilt made me feel disgusted of myself for feeling that way for a psychopath.” Aaron shook his head and stared at the empty nothingness in front of him. “It made me feel even more weak. Maybe he was right.”
You caressed his forearm softly as you shook your head. “You’re a human being. No matter how terrible he was, he was still your father. Just because you felt that way doesn’t mean that you’re weak. It just means you’re human and have emotions.”
“I didn’t want to feel anything for that vile and psychotic man. I don’t ever want to end up like him.”
“You’re not, and you won’t.” You reassured him. “You are more than him. You’re better than him and realizing that just proves even more that you’re so much better than your father.”
You moved closer to him, intertwining your fingers with his. “You’re so strong, so smart, and you carry me. You’re always there for me, and I know it’s difficult for you to open up to others, but I know that deep inside of you, you care for them. I know it.”
“I kept… seeing him today. Every corner of this office.” He shook his head. “It was like he was hovering and whispering in my ear.”
Now, you understood who he was talking to today. It was almost like Anderson’s ghost was haunting him, but you knew it was just all the emotions and anxiety that was triggering inside him.
“I’ve been trying to prove him wrong and with his whispers echoing in my mind all day… I…” He hung his head low again and shook his head. “It made me push you away.”
You held in the tears that started welling up in your eyes. “All the things he told you were lies. You’re not weak. You’re the strongest man I know. You have been a better man than your father ever was.”
Aaron gave you a faint smile as he caressed your cheek with his thumb. He leaned in close, his green eyes finding yours before pressing his soft lips onto yours.
“I love you.” He whispered through the kiss.
Parting from the kiss, you gave him a smile. “I love you.”
Getting up from the floor, you gently tugged on his hand. “C’mon. I have something for you.”
You helped Aaron get up from the floor, his hand letting go of yours for a moment as he ran his fingers through his hair. He let out a deep sigh and turned to face you. Before you could walk away, he pulled you in his arms for a moment, one arm around your waist and one hand cupping your face. Suddenly, you saw that sparkle in his eyes come back alive again. You couldn’t help but smile that the Aaron that you always have known was back. The real Aaron that you knew.
“Thank you.” He whispered, kissing your forehead.
Wrapping your arms around his waist, you enjoyed this moment for a minute. You closed your eyes letting your nose grazed over his softly as you smiled. You could feel his breath tremble as he cupped your face with both of his hands. Aaron gently kissed you on the lips, showing you all his love for you. As you parted, you gave him a small grin and intertwined your fingers with his, walking out of the office.
“Stay there.” You smiled, leaving him by the doorway of the dining room.
“What’s going on, love—” Aaron’s eyes scanned the dining room.
The table was filled with his favorite foods, and the room was decorated with balloons and a banner that said Happy Birthday was taped on the wall. He couldn’t help but smile as he waited for you. After a few minutes, the lights in the dining room went out as he looked around, searching for you.
“Love?” He murmured.
Then, you came out carrying the cake you bought with candles lit up on top of it. You smiled as you walked towards him, and Aaron’s face was washed over with different mixed emotions. You could see the unshed tears in his eyes as he stared at you lovingly.
“You didn’t have to do all of this, love.” He said.
“I want this to be special.” You moved closer to him. “Make a wish and blow your candles.”
Aaron closed his eyes, a smile tugging on his lips before he opened his eyes and blew the candles. You smiled brightly as he grabbed the cake from your hands and set it down on the table. Pulling you in his arms, he brushed your cheek softly with his thumb.
“You’re amazing.” He murmured.
“Happy Birthday.” You whispered. “This is a promise to you that from now on, I want to make sure that you would forget all your horrible past birthdays. Today is the day we’re going to start making new, fresh, good memories of them.”
Pulling your body against his, Aaron smiled and kissed you deeply, running his fingers through your hair. You hoped that this birthday would be the first of many good birthdays to come because he deserved it.
He deserved all of it.
The End.

“I’m sorry.”
You murmured, your hands trembled in fear.
“I don’t understand why you just couldn’t listen.” His voice sounded frustrated, angry.
Your heart was beating out of your chest, you closed your hands into a fist to stop your hands from trembling. You didn’t know what to do or what to say in order for you to make this situation better. It wasn’t like you were doing anything wrong because you weren’t. All you did was hang out with your best friend, Kenji. That was all but how come he couldn’t believe that? How come he had to be so jealous all the time? He didn’t like the idea of your best friend being a guy, but Kenji had been there for you through all of it. You could never drop your best friend just like that just for you to make him happy.
“We were just talking. We hung out by the beach, that’s all.” You explained.
You watched as he shook his head in disappointment. “I told you not to hang out with him anymore.”
“He’s my best friend, babe.” You argued. “I can’t just drop him like that.”
“Oh, so you choose him over me? Do you even love me?” He raised his brow at you as you stood there and couldn’t find the words to say.
You couldn’t answer his question because you were exhausted from the same thing over and over again. You were exhausted from being gaslit and feeling guilty over the things that you love to do. He told you he loved you but how come this was how he treated you? How come you couldn’t seem to do the things you want? You felt trapped as you choked in your own tears. You wanted to leave this relationship, but you were too terrified. You were terrified that if you ever told him that it was over, he would lash out, and you would be the collateral damage.
“Y…Yes.” You told him.
However, you knew it was a lie.
You just couldn’t bear to see him anymore upset about it. You were terrified of what he might do if you told him the truth. You were so mentally tired of trying to reassure him everyday. You were mentally tired of following all his rules. His rules of you not being able to wear something that showed your skin. Rules of you not being able to wear your makeup and hang out with your friends. He wanted your world to revolve around him, but you were your own person too. You had your own life too.
“Do you?” He asked, not believing your words. “You don’t even touch me anymore. You don’t let me touch you.”
“I… I’m just tired from work, babe.” You held in the tears that were welling up in your eyes.
“It’s the same excuse.”
It was the same excuse because the truth was you couldn’t keep drowning like this anymore. You couldn’t let him touch you anymore because you were just done. You wanted to get away from him. You wanted out, but you were terrified.
“I… I’m sorry.” Your words stuttered as he walked towards you.
You took a step back until your back met the wall. Your limbs were paralyzed. You were trapped. You have nowhere to go. His face was inches from yours, his hand found your chin as he cupped it, lifting your head to look at him. Your eyes were full of unshed tears as his lips met your jawline. You closed your eyes, letting the tears roll down your cheeks.
This was hell on Earth, and you were living it everyday.
His kisses were rough and desperate. He held you like he owned you. Like he would never let anyone touch you or look at you because you were only his. Your heart was beating a thousand miles, and your body was numb. Your mind had blanked out. Slowly, you felt yourself fade away from your body as his hands found your hips and pressed your body against him.
“You’re only mine.” He whispered in your ear.
His hands took yours and pinned them against the wall above your head.
“Say you love me.” He whispered in your ear as tears rolled down your cheeks. “Say it.”
“I… I love you.” You said.
You just wanted to die as his lips met the skin of your neck. Tears streamed down your face as he tugged on your shirt and pulled them over your head. His hands burned your bare skin as his lips trailed down your chest.
It made you hate yourself.
It made you question yourself as to why you were still here. As to why you had to endure this kind of hell. It made you question what you did for you to deserve all of this?
Beads of sweat covered your face as you screamed and sat up on the bed.
“No!” You screamed breathlessly.
It was dark, and your vision was still adjusting from the darkness of the room. Your chest was heaving as you tried to catch your breath. Your body trembled from the memory, pulling the covers close to your chest and sobbed. Then, you felt the bed move and the lights turned on, illuminating the whole room. Aaron immediately was next to you. He looked sleepy, but his green eyes were full of worry.
“Hey, hey.” He cupped your face in his hands, wiping the tears that were streaming down your face.
“It’s just a nightmare, love.” He whispered as you immediately clung onto him, sobbing on his shoulder.
You repeatedly shook your head as you buried your face on his shoulder. Aaron rubbed your back softly as he pulled you on his lap. His cheek pressed against the top of your head.
“Shh…” He cooed. “Do you want to talk about it?”
You didn’t say a word for a while. You didn’t move in his arms until your tears had run dry. Aaron hated seeing you like this. He hated the fact that you would sob in his arms almost every night, and he couldn’t do anything about it. Your nightmares had been terrorizing you since Aaron had known you, and he knew it was because of your toxic ex before him. He wasn’t jealous or anything. In fact, that was the farthest thing he was feeling every time that subject was brought up.
He knew all about it. He knew how he mentally and emotionally abused you to the point where you would give up everything to make him happy. That you lost yourself along the way just so he could be happy, but it was never enough. It never did with him and the thought of it made Aaron angry. If he had the chance to ever see him, Aaron wouldn’t know what to do because he knew it would be catastrophic for sure.
“It wasn’t just a nightmare.” You finally said. “It was real. It happened.”
Aaron felt the pain in his chest as soon as you said those words. Anger shot through his body as he felt your body shaking in his arms. He didn't know what happened in your dream but if it made you react like this, he knew it was bad. Not just bad. But something so unforgivable that you, yourself, couldn’t even let go of the trauma even now.
“What happened, love?” He asked, terrified of the answer that you might give him.
“H…He…” You shook your head and more tears streamed down your face.
From the way you couldn’t even tell him, Aaron knew then what it was. He was an insect. Someone so vile. Aaron couldn’t even find the right words to describe him because how could someone treat you like that? Someone like you? He never deserved your attention and love before. He never appreciated it. Aaron felt the anger washed over him again as he held you close to his chest. You could feel his chest heaving from anger as he tried to comfort you. You knew how much Aaron hated him by just the things you told him about what happened.
You reached for his hand and found them in a fist. As soon as he felt your touch, he unclenched them and intertwined them with yours.
“You don’t have to talk about it if it’s too much, love.” He murmured. “I’m here.”
You nodded your head and pulled away from him, your eyes were bloodshot red. Aaron could feel the pressure in his chest as he gazed down at you, his spare hand cupping your cheek. He brushed your cheek softly with his thumb and pressed a soft kiss on your forehead.
“I’m sorry if I’m such a mess.” You apologized. “I’m so sorry if I’m like this. You deserve someone better.”
“Hey.” Aaron gave you a small reassuring smile. “There’s nothing to apologize for, love. I love you the way you are. I love your mess and every part of you.”
“Please tell me if I ever do something that isn’t right, please.” You sobbed.
“No,” He shook his head, his green eyes staring at yours. “You are perfect the way you are, love. Don’t ever think that you are not enough.”
More tears rolled down your cheeks as you heard Aaron’s words to you. This kind of love was something you never experienced before. Someone who trusted you and believed in you. Being not enough for Aaron was one of your biggest fears, and you were always so terrified to do or say something that you might end up losing him. He was the only good in your life, and you were terrified to ruin all of this. However, Aaron had proved to you many times that he wasn’t like him. He wasn’t going to stop you from doing anything that made you happy.
“Hey, listen.” Aaron cupped your face with his hands, his green eyes deep into yours. “Whatever words that he planted in there,” His finger touched your temple softly. “Or right here…” His hand laid on top of your chest, just right above your heart. “...Is not true, you understand? You are more than what he had told you. You are intelligent, resilient and so beautiful.”
You nodded your head, wiping the remaining tears that were on your face. You felt your heart skip a beat for Aaron as you gave him a small smile. You reached your hand and cupped his face as Aaron leaned against your touch. You watched him close his eyes, but you could see something that was washing over his face.
“I’m sorry I woke you up.” You murmured.
“I just wish…” Aaron sighed, opening his eyes. “I just wish I could take your pain away. It kills me to know that I can’t do anything. That I can’t just erase all the things that you went through.”
“Being with you is enough.” You said. “I don’t want you feeling guilty about this. None of this is your fault.”
Aaron could feel your eyes through every part of him as you slowly pulled him close to you and kissed him softly. There was something about you that Aaron couldn’t explain. Something that always lit a fire in his soul every time you kissed him. Every time you touched him. How could someone treat you so irresponsibly before? Because to him, he would drop everything. He would watch the world burn just for you.
“I love you.” Aaron whispered as soon as he pulled away from the kiss. “Don’t ever let anyone tell you who you are because you’re perfect.”
“I love you too.” You felt a tear rolled down your cheeks.
This time, it wasn’t because of the nightmare. It was because you could feel Aaron’s love and understanding for you. The way he accepted who you were no matter what. Using his thumb, he brushed the tear away from your cheek and planted a soft kiss on your forehead.
“Come here.” He murmured.
He reached over behind you to fluff up your pillows and laid you gently back on the bed. Walking around the bed, he settled next to you, pulling the covers over the both of you and pulled you close to his chest.
A small yawned escape from you as he said, “Get some rest, love.”
“Please, stay.”
Aaron couldn’t help but smile. You clung onto him, and he could feel all your emotions towards him. He could feel how much you love him and want him. All your love was injecting in his veins, and he could feel every bit of it. It made his heart swell as he closed his eyes, his hand rubbing softly on your arm.
“I’m not going anywhere, love.”
The End.

Aaron Warner x Fem!Reader

You were tipsy.
Not drunk.
Sure, you were lightweight when it came to alcohol, but you weren’t drunk. At least, not yet. You knew your limit, and you had a plan from the beginning. You love your boyfriend, Aaron, and you love your best friend, Kenji, but somehow, those two men could just never get along no matter what you did.
“Are you really eating a cookie with a knife and a fork?” Kenji raised his brow at Aaron.
“I didn’t ask for your opinion, Kishimoto.” Aaron barked back.
You had decided to host a little movie night because you wanted to see if they both could maybe spend time together and get to know each other, so they could see what you saw in them. Kenji was such an amazing friend and was always there for you, and Aaron, you love him so much and you knew he had a troubled past but you knew his heart. You knew he cared. He was just not good at showing his emotions to other people.
“Seriously, guys?” You were literally sitting between them, and they both still managed to tick each other off.
“I didn’t say anything.” Aaron mumbled under his breath as he took a bite of his cookie.
“This is okay with you?” Kenji raised his brow at you, his eyes glancing at the fork and knife and then back at you.
“Kenji, just let him eat.” You tilted your head. “We’re watching a horror movie and the only jumpscare I keep getting is from the two of you commenting about each other.”
Kenji slumped his body back on the sofa, arms crossed before stuffing his mouth with some popcorn. Aaron, on the other hand, chuckled softly and shook his head as he continued to eat his cookie and paid his attention back on the screen. They were both such important people in your life, and they both got along so well with you but how come when it came to each other, they just loved to irritate each other all the time?
It was a good ten minutes at the beginning. Kenji quietly ate his popcorn and sipped his drink, while Aaron leaned back against the sofa. His arm found your shoulders as he pulled you close next to him. It wasn’t long until Kenji had turned his head towards the both of you and shook his head. Aaron was softly rubbing your arm and kept glancing down at you.
“Here, love. You’re cold.” Aaron grabbed the throw blanket that was on the other side of him and wrapped it around you.
As he wrapped the blanket around your shoulders, he pulled you in for a quick kiss, making you giggle softly.
“Ew, don’t do that in front of me.” Kenji scrunched his face.
Aaron was quick to reach over you and grab one piece of popcorn and flicked it on Kenji. It only made you more irritated as Kenji let out a soft gasp, his eyes widening in shock.
“Hey, man! Rude!” Kenji stood up from the sofa, irritation washing over his face.
“Okay, that’s it!” You slid the blanket off your shoulders and got up from the sofa.
Both men stayed still as they stared at you. Suddenly, the room had gone still and silence blanketed the three of you. The only sound that was echoing the room was the movie that was playing on the television.
“You know, I brought you two here together because I genuinely thought maybe you two would finally get along and see as to why I love the both of you.” You sighed, shaking your head.
“Hey, love–” Aaron reached his hand for you, but you were quick to pull your hand away.
“Clearly, I was wrong. You know what, you two could enjoy the rest of the movie because I’m exhausted. I should have never tried to force the both of you to be friends.”
Both men watched you walk out of the living room as Kenji slumped back down on the sofa. Silence surrounded the both of them, both their eyes laser focused on the movie in front of them. The space in between the sofa, where you sat, was the only thing keeping them apart. Aaron could feel the air between him and Kenji become thicker as he turned his head to look at him for a second before looking back at the television again.
“I mean… Why do you really have to eat that cookie with a fork and a knife?” Kenji asked, his eyes still on the television.
Aaron couldn’t help but turn to look at him with a raised brow. “Really? That is still what you’re worried about?”
“No, seriously.” Kenji pressed the subject. “Do you not like to get your hands dirty?”
“I can get my hands dirty right now.” Aaron glared at Kenji.
Kenji knew it was a threat, but he wasn’t afraid of Aaron. He knew Aaron wouldn’t make this night worse. You were already upset. Even if they both didn’t get along, at least they both agreed with one thing and that was to not make you more upset.
Kenji sighed and got up from the sofa. He made his way towards the bedroom and knocked softly on the door that was slightly ajar. Looking up, you saw Kenji gently push the door open and stood by the doorway.
“I’m sorry, Princess.” Kenji said.
“Don’t apologize.” You said. “I’m sorry I forced the two of you. I just thought—”
“I’m sorry, love.” Aaron interrupted you as he appeared behind Kenji. “We’ll try to get along, love.”
Suddenly, you saw Kenji’s brows furrowed as he looked over his shoulder and gave him a surprised look. Aaron raised his brow at Kenji as if he was telling him to agree with what he just said. Kenji scratched the back of his head and gave you an awkward smile.
“Yeah, we will.” Kenji agreed.
He brought up his fist to fist bump Aaron to try and act like they were cool, but Aaron just side eyed him before walking past Kenji and walked up to you on the bed. Kenji rolled his eyes and followed behind him as Aaron sat at the edge of the bed, facing you.
“Matter of fact…” Kenji added. “I’ll take you out next weekend. You know to apologize for this shitty night.”
You saw how Kenji hesitated for a moment. He was staring at the back of Aaron’s head, and you could see Aaron was holding back from rolling his eyes as Kenji continued, “The three of us. We can go and drink.”
You bit your lower lip, holding in your smile as Aaron furrowed his brows at the idea of it. Somehow, this fake effort that they were trying to do was sort of amusing you. You knew Aaron didn’t like going out to bars. He always thought it was too many people, and it irritated him. That was when the idea appeared in your head.
“Just you and me, Kenji.” You said. “Aaron doesn’t like bars.”
“He doesn’t–?!” Kenji had to bite his tongue before making another comment. “Okay… Okay.”
You saw Aaron’s green eyes sparkled as he hung his head low and held in his smile. You reached for his hand, squeezing it lightly as Kenji let out a sigh.
“I’ll see you then, Princess.” Kenji’s eyes shifted to the back of Aaron’s head again and murmured, “Warner.”
Aaron slightly looked over his shoulder, still biting down his bottom lip as he nodded slightly at Kenji. As soon as Kenji was out the front door, Aaron chuckled softly, pulling you into his arms and burying his face on your neck as he breathed you in.
“You’re killing me, love.” He murmured, pressing a soft kiss on your neck.
You laughed softly, running your fingers through his golden hair. “You were the one who offered. I was ready to give up on the both of you.”
Aaron hummed softly as he pushed you down gently on the bed, his eyes studying your face.
“I don’t like seeing you upset.” He said. “I want to make you happy, love.”
You couldn’t help but grin widely as you reached to softly touch your fingers on his cheek. Aaron closed his eyes, marveling at your touch as he smiled softly and his dimples slowly appeared on his face.
“You do make me happy.” You reassured him.
“So does Kishimoto.” Aaron muttered as he opened his eyes.
“He’s my best friend. Don’t be jealous.” You teased.
Aaron couldn’t help but let out a laugh, almost like he was insulted by your accusation. He kissed the line of your jaw and down your neck before finding your lips and kissed you deeply.
“I’m not jealous.” He stated sternly. “I just don’t understand how you could be friends with someone so—”
“Hey!” You cut him off, your index finger finding his lips. “That’s my best friend you’re talking about.”
Aaron chuckled softly before pulling the duvet covers over the both of you and kissed you passionately.
That was it.
That was the night you thought maybe this plan of yours could actually work. However, you didn’t put too much hope into it because you knew how stubborn those two were. So, when you and Kenji had gone out to get drinks that weekend, after a few hours, you started acting like you were drunk. That you had enough drinks for the night and just in time, Kenji had suggested to take you back home.
Technically, you were just tipsy. You could fully make out a whole sentence if you wanted to, and you could still walk by yourself if you wanted to, but you needed this plan to work. As soon as the both of you arrived back home, immediately, you heard Aaron’s voice calling out Kenji’s name. You were stumbling out of the car—at least you tried to act like it— as Kenji helped you out of the passenger seat. Your laughter echoed softly in the quiet dark neighborhood.
“Jesus Christ. How many did she have?” Aaron asked, helping Kenji carry you.
“Not much.” Kenji shrugged. “You know how she’s lightweight.”
“Hey, beautiful.” You slurred your words as you gazed up at Aaron, his worried green eyes staring down at you.
You could see that Aaron wasn’t amused at all. He wrapped his arm around your waist to steady you better as Kenji shut the passenger door closed behind him. Walking back inside the house, you looked over your shoulder to make sure that Kenji was following right behind you and Aaron.
“You got this, man?” Kenji asked.
He was still standing by the car and suddenly, you knew your plan was starting to fail. Immediately stopping in your tracks, Aaron gazed down at you with worried eyes as he watched you look over your shoulder.
“Come!” You called out to Kenji.
“Love, it’s getting late. He needs to get home.”
“N…No!” You slurred your words again, you pulled Aaron’s arm from your waist and slid yourself away from his embrace before settling yourself on the front steps.
Aaron, who was watching you, was very confused and didn’t know what was happening with you. In fact, he was a bit stunned from your current state and the little show that you were putting on at the moment.
“Love–” Aaron tried to reach for you, but you swatted his hand away.
“I’m… not… going inside unless Kenji comes too.” You crossed your arms in front of your chest like a little kid, who was throwing a temper tantrum in the middle of the store.
You saw as Aaron and Kenji stared at each other before Kenji exhaled a sharp breath and started walking towards the front door. As soon as a small smile tugged on your lips, Aaron reached for you again as he helped you up from your feet and took you inside. Kenji followed behind, closing the door behind him.
“Jesus Christ, Princess. What was in that tequila you drank?” Kenji commented as Aaron took you to the bathroom.
Closing the lid of the toilet, Aaron sat you down as he grabbed one of your makeup remover wipes and started wiping your face gently.  Kenji stood by the doorway and watched Aaron take care of you the whole time. His touch was so gentle that you couldn’t help but gazed up at Aaron in awe as he removed your makeup and brushed your hair away from your face. You could see in the corner of your eye that Kenji was impressed too, especially when Aaron had grabbed one of your scrunchies and put your hair in a ponytail.
“H…How do you learn how to do all that?” Kenji couldn’t help but ask.
“From the many many drunken nights you two would do.” Aaron replied, his voice was flat.
Kenji chuckled softly, scratching the back of his head. “Y…You do all this? All. the. time?”
Aaron didn’t say anything as he turned to Kenji and grabbed the door handle.
“I supposed you don’t want to see me change her?”
“Absolutely not.” Kenji raised his hands up in the air in surrender before walking down the hall as Aaron closed the bathroom door.
Kenji sat at the edge of the sofa and waited until Aaron finished cleaning you up. He wanted to make sure you were okay before he left for the night. He sighed and waited for a few minutes, hearing your soft laughter echoing inside the bathroom. Then, silence filled the bathroom a few minutes later until the sight of Aaron carrying you in his arms as he walked towards the bedroom caught Kenji’s eyes.
He never realized how much Aaron cared for you. Of course, he heard you talk about it, but he never believed most of your stories since every time he saw Aaron, he was always so irritated or emotionless.
The man was always cold towards him and for a while, Kenji never understood why you had fallen for someone like him because Kenji had known you for so long now, and he knew you deserve someone so much better.
However after tonight, Kenji saw the side of Aaron that he never thought existed. It was almost like he finally saw the emotion behind those ice cold green eyes that would glare at him all the time. He was almost like he was a different person.
Walking towards the bedroom, Kenji stood by the doorway and watched Aaron tuck you in under the duvet. Your eyes were closed, and you were finally asleep—at least that was what they both thought— and you were all freshened up and in your fresh pair of pajamas.
“Is she asleep?” Kenji whispered.
Pressing a soft kiss on your forehead, Aaron turned to Kenji and nodded his head. For a moment, the two men just stood there and stared at each other. Almost like they wanted to say something to each other, but they couldn’t seem to find the right words or didn’t really know where to start.
“Thank you for taking her back home safely.” Aaron finally said.
“Yeah, of course. She’s my best friend. I wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her.” Kenji let out a soft awkward laugh.
You couldn’t help but open one eye and saw Aaron’s back was turned to you. You could barely see Kenji in front of Aaron, but you knew he was there. They were talking. Not just talking but a normal conversation for once without insulting each other.
“You’re a good friend.” Aaron murmured.
Kenji was stunned. There was silence for a moment between them as Aaron took a step forward towards him. You quickly closed your eyes before Kenji could notice that you were awake.
“You’re um…” Kenji cleared his throat. “You’re good for her.”
Aaron let out a soft hum and a small smile appeared on his face as he nodded his head.
“Maybe you aren’t so bad after all.” Kenji added, rolling his eyes.
“I guess… you too.”
“Except for the cookie. I still don’t understand that whole thing.”
You couldn’t help but smile as you opened one eye again. You saw Aaron hold out his hand, and Kenji hesitated for a moment before shaking his hand.
“Anyway, I’m gonna head home.” Kenji pointed to the direction of the front door. “Just tell her that I’ll see her soon.”
Aaron nodded his head and walked out of the bedroom with Kenji. You heard the front door opened and a goodnight from the both of them before the front door closed again.
Closing your eyes again, you heard Aaron’s footsteps from down the hall and then, the bedroom door closed. You stayed still on the bed as Aaron slid under the covers next to you. Feeling the stroke of his fingers on your hair, you stirred slightly before fluttering your eyes open. You gazed up at him as he smiled and admired you.
“I know you’re not drunk, love.” Aaron said.
You smiled sleepily as you buried your face on his neck. Aaron shook his head as he wrapped an arm around you, pulling you close.
“What’s going on, love?” He asked.
“I never thought it would work.” You murmured, kissing his neck softly.
Aaron chuckled, pulling away from you and stared at you with a curious look on his face but at the same time, he looked impressed.
“You did this on purpose?”
You nodded your head and smiled. “Like I said, I never thought it would work.”
Aaron shook his head, pinching the bridge of his nose as he closed his eyes. He couldn’t believe he fell for it, but he really did. A soft laughter escaped your lips, reaching for his cheek and cupping his face.
“I heard what you said to Kenji.” You murmured.
Aaron’s green eyes caught yours as he let out a sharp breath. He was stunned but at the same time, he was amazed by you. His green eyes sparkled, dimples indenting his cheeks as he leaned in and gave you a quick peck on the lips.
“I meant it.” He admitted.
Your grin grew wider. “So, what do you think?”
“Think of what?”
“Of Kenji?”
Aaron shook his head. He couldn’t believe he was saying all of this to you. He couldn’t believe it himself that he was saying all of this out loud.
“He’s okay.”
Another soft laughter escaped from you as you laid your head on his chest. Aaron pulled you close in his embrace and just stared down at you happily.
“I’ll accept okay.” You smiled.
Aaron couldn’t help but smile as he stroked your hair softly with his fingers.
“You have a good friend, love.” He admitted, pressing a kiss on your hair.
“And I have an amazing boyfriend.” You murmured.
With that, Aaron smiled and thought that maybe—just maybe— he could keep his promise to you that he could try harder when it came to Kenji. He was, after all, your best friend, and he knew how much he meant to you after everything you two had gone through together. Besides, he was telling the truth. He wasn't too bad after all.
Gazing down at you one more time, Aaron tightened his grip around you and saw that you had a smile on your face as you slowly fell asleep.
He couldn't help but think how he’d do anything to keep that smile on your face.
He’d do anything to keep you happy.
The End.

Note
hey darling, how are you? You asked to leave requests in your inbox, so I'm doing that, even though I think this request is stupid
Well, would I like to ask for something where the reader and Kenji have a strange friendship? compliments and curses, maybe they are always fighting with each other but just for fun, but other people don't know, so one time Aaron sees kenji offending the reader and threatens kenji? and another scenario is where the reader is crying and Aaron hugs her and consoles her
Thanks!!

The night sky was clear tonight. The stars twinkled in the sky and the cold night breeze greeted you and Kenji as you both walked out of the restaurant. You both were having your usual Friday night dinner. It has become a tradition for the both of you. It was something that you two found therapeutic because you could talk about anything with each other. Not that Aaron and Nazeera didn’t understand you both, it was just that you both tend to match each other’s energy.
“You’re such a bitch!” Kenji laughed, pushing you lightly by your arm.
“I’m the bitch?” Your eyes widened, a fake gasp escaping your lips. “Weren’t you just scared of the little horror movie we watched earlier?”
“Yeah, that’s why you’re such a bitch for teasing me about it.” Kenji rolled his eyes.
You couldn’t help but laugh, the sound echoing through the dark empty streets. You knew if anyone would hear the little mean nicknames that you two gave each other, people would probably think of something else. Though, this was a normal conversation between you and Kenji. You both knew you cared and loved each other and was just comfortable enough to be playfully mean.
“I don’t know how Nazeera deals with your scaredy ass.” You added.
“Hey! Don’t bring my girl into this.” Kenji’s voice got defensive. “I’ll have you know, Nazeera loves me for me.”
You couldn’t help but snort at the sentence that he just told you. Kenji dropped his jaw as if he was hurt by your reaction and paused in his tracks, his eyes widened and brows raised.
“I’m sure Warner got his hands full.” Kenji joked as you playfully pushed him towards the wall.
“Asshole.” You muttered under your breath as he laughed.
“Yeah?” Kenji picked you up, threw you over his shoulder and spun you around as you let out a shriek.
“Kenji! Put me down!” You exclaimed as Kenji laughed.
You kicked your feet up in the air as you reached your hand to slap his ass, making him let out a small squeal. You laughed at his reaction as you kept kicking your feet and wiggling your body to start sliding off from his grip. He finally set you back down as the both of you started playfully air punching each other. Kenji wrapped his arm around your neck as you laughed and tried to kick him on the leg.
“C’mon, Princess. Show me your strength.” Kenji chuckled, his arm not letting go of you. “I thought Warner has been training you at the gym, hm?”
You started slapping Kenji on the stomach, coughing out air as you gave him a signal that you actually couldn’t breathe.
“Kenj—” You breathed heavily as he finally let go of you.
“Oh, shit! Are you okay?” His eyes widened, eyes full of worry.
You laughed and nudged him on the stomach. “Ha! Gotcha!”
Kenji stood there with his mouth open, stunned at the little prank that you just did to him. His hands started reaching for you, while you slowly took a step back, shaking your head.
“Uh uh.” You said. “No.”
“Come here.” Kenji’s voice was soft, his hand still reaching for you. “I’m not going to hurt you.”
“Yeah, that’s a trustworthy sentence.” You laughed, your feet still backing up from him.
Then, Kenji started running towards you. A loud shriek escaped from you as you turned and started running away from him. Your laughter echoed the empty streets as Kenji kept calling out your name.
“You’re such a cheater, Princess!” He exclaimed.
Stopping at the corner of the sidewalk, you panted and set your palm on your knees, hunching down as you tried to catch your breath. Finally catching up to you, Kenji set his hands on his hips, throwing his head back as he also tried to catch his breath.
“Damn, Princess. Warner really has been training you at the gym. You’re fast.”
You laughed, gazing up at him before finally straightening your body. “Yeah, well, you gotta catch up with your training too.”
Kenji wrapped an arm around your shoulders as the both of you continued walking down the street. The rest of the walk home was calm. You both had stopped teasing each other and finally had some normal conversation without one of you being sarcastic. As you arrived at your front door, you saw Aaron immediately walk out of the front porch and waited for you as you said goodbye to Kenji.
“We should go bowling next time or something.” Kenji suggested, his eyes shifted at Aaron behind you from a distance. “Bring Mr. Asshole over there.”
You furrowed your brows, lightly slapping him on the arm. “Don’t be like that. You don’t see me calling Nazeera names.”
“That’s because Nazeera is perfect.” Kenji argued.
“Yeah, whatever.” You rolled your eyes. “Bring Ms. Perfect too then and we could compete.”
“Deal.” Kenji smiled, pulling you into an embrace. “Goodnight, Princess.”
“Goodnight, idiot.” You chuckled and waved goodbye to your best friend.
Excitedly walking towards your boyfriend, Aaron immediately smiled at you and took you in his arms, pulling you inside the house.
“Hi, love.” He kissed you softly. “How was your night?”
“Good.” You smiled.
Aaron closed the door behind him before pulling you into his arms again, nuzzling your neck and a soft hum escaped his lips. He trailed kisses down your neck as you smiled and ran your fingers through his golden hair.
“Missed you.” He murmured through your skin as breathed in your scent.
“I missed you too.” You smiled, cupping his face and lifting it up to stare at him.
His dimples slowly appeared on his cheeks as he grinned at you. Leaning down, he kissed you softly and scooped you up in his arms, carrying you down the hall towards the bedroom. You wrapped your arms around his neck, setting your head on his shoulder before your lips started trailing down his neck. You felt Aaron’s gripped under your thighs tightened, a whine caught in his throat.
“Love, you make me crazy, you know that?” He whispered as he set you back down.
“Hmm…” You smiled, cupping his face. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
Aaron smiled, leaning down to kiss you. He quickly parted from the kiss and walked towards the bathroom. You furrowed your brows as you heard the water start running. You already knew what he was planning as he walked back into the room.
“Aaron—!” You squealed as he laughed softly, scooping you up in his arms.
You kicked your legs in the air as Aaron chuckled softly, setting you down as soon as you both entered the bathroom. Aaron pressed his body against yours as he tugged on your sweater.
“My beautiful love.” He whispered.
“I love you.” You murmured, kissing him softly.
He pulled your sweater over your head and leaned down to kiss your collarbone. You could never get tired of him. Every time you felt his kisses and touch on your body, it always brought you back to life. It was like electricity that made you feel so alive.
“Aaron.” You gasped.
Your hands clutched on his shirt as you pulled him even more close to you. He pinned you against the wall, his hands sliding down under your thighs. He holsted you up, your legs wrapping around his waist.
“God, you’re so beautiful.” Aaron whispered, biting your bottom lip softly.
A soft moan escaped from your lips as he led you towards the bathtub. As you both took each other’s clothes off, Aaron helped you settle inside the bathtub. The soap was foaming on the water as Aaron leaned back against the tub, pulling you close to his chest. You leaned your back against him and closed your eyes, feeling the peace that was blanketing around you. His hands softly stroked your hair and his lips pressed feather like kisses on your bare shoulder.
“You spend too much time with Kishimoto, love.” He murmured.
You couldn’t help but chuckle softly and looked over your shoulder to stare at him. You raised your brow at him and gave him a playful smile.
“Don’t be jealous.” You said. “Kenji is my best friend.”
“I’m not jealous.” Aaron retorted. “I don’t know how Nazeera handles him, honestly. I feel bad for her.”
You let out a laugh as you laid your head on his shoulder. Aaron leaned his cheek against your head, giving you a soft kiss on your forehead. If you could stay like this with him forever, you would.
“Actually,” You said, lifting your head and gazing up at him. “Kenji and I were thinking that we should go bowling. Me, him, you, and Nazeera.”
Aaron’s eyes went dim as he gazed down at you, brows raised at the idea you suggested. You could see the disapproval look on his face that immediately washed over him. It wasn’t that Aaron hated bowling. It was the fact that he had to spend time with Kenji, and you could see that idea spinning in his mind at the moment. You always wanted those two men to get along but for some reason, they just couldn’t seem to no matter what you did. You didn’t understand because you and Nazeera were getting along just fine.
“Please?” You pouted, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to resist.
Aaron threw his head back and said, “Fine. I know I’ll beat Kishimoto in bowling anyway.”
“Hm…” You nuzzled your face on his neck. “You’d look hot bowling, honestly. I’ll enjoy my night so much.”
Aaron smiled, setting his index finger under your chin and lifted your head to kiss you softly. This time, his kiss was so soft and gentle. Something like he wanted to study and enjoy this time with you. You love Aaron so much, and you know he has a hard time making friends. Even when he grew up knowing Nazeera and her brother, he felt like they were never that close. Nazeera would argue otherwise. She had told you that they always played together as kids whenever her parents would come over or when Aaron was dragged by his parents to Nazeera’s house. Aaron never thought they were friends because they only knew each other through their parents doing business together. Besides, Aaron never liked talking about his childhood.
It was dark.
Never happy.
He liked to push that thought away, especially when the subject of his father came up. Ever since you started dating Aaron, he never got along with Kenji. He always was irritated by him, and he never understood how the two of you got along. Overtime, he just started accepting your friendship with Kenji. Tolerate it, most of the time. Although you knew that deep inside, Aaron didn’t dislike Kenji like that. He saw Kenji’s intelligence and cared for you. Aaron, at least, was grateful for that.
So, when the weekend came, you found yourself with Aaron at the bowling alley. You both waited for Kenji and Nazeera to arrive as you rented yourself a pair of bowling shoes.
“Love, no.” Aaron shook his head, giving the boy from behind the counter the shoes back.
He took out two pairs of bowling shoes from his bag and gave you one that was just about your size. You held the pair of shoes, stunned as you stared at him.
“Of course, you would.”
You heard Nazeera’s voice as she walked towards the both of you. Kenji was walking right behind her, and she looked like she wasn’t even remotely surprised that Aaron brought his own pair of bowling shoes.
“Do you know they don’t disinfect that properly?” Aaron argued, taking out two more shoes.
Nazeera rolled her eyes at Aaron as she pulled you into a hug. “How are you?”
“I’m good. How are you? I’ve missed you.”
“I know. Things have just been busy.” Nazeera smiled.
“I hope your brother isn’t still annoying you.” Aaron interrupted.
Immediately, Nazeera’s attention turned to him as you let them have their own conversation. Kenji walked towards you and nudged you on the side. His eyes shifted towards the pair of bowling shoes that you were holding.
“Your boyfriend is insane.” Kenji said.
“I heard that.” Aaron turned to face the both of you as he threw the shoes at Kenji. “You’re welcome.”
“I think I can handle renting my own shoes.” He handed the bowling shoes back to Aaron.
You and Nazeera immediately gave each other a look. They only just arrived at the place, and they were arguing already. You just hoped no bowling balls would be flying across the room later on, especially that both of them could be so competitive.
“Suit yourself, Kishimoto. Enjoy the germs.” Aaron shoved the shoes back inside his bag, but you reached for his hand.
“Kenji, stop.” You said, taking the shoes from Aaron’s hands. “Just take the shoes.”
“Fine, Princess.” Kenji rolled his eyes, taking the shoes from you.
You smiled at your best friend as Aaron handed Nazeera a pair also. Sitting on the bench, you started untying your sneakers and froze when you saw Aaron knelt down in front of you.
“Here, love.”
He gently took your hand and took the bowling shoes from you. He slid your sneakers from your feet and replaced them with the bowling shoes. You couldn’t help but stare at him in awe. He was so sweet. You felt the blood rush to your cheeks as he held out his hand and helped you up. Nazeera told the boy from behind the counter that you all were doing three games as Aaron went to pay for it.
“You’re so spoiled.” Kenji whispered to you, bumping his arm with yours as you all walked towards one of the bowling lanes.
“You’re so spoiled.” You mocked him, pushing him by the arm. “You should be spoiling Nazeera. Instead, she spoils you.”
Kenji mocked you by mouthing the words you just told him as you pushed him away from you, laughing.
“You’re so annoying and such an ass.” You told Kenji.
Nazeera and Aaron already started picking out their bowling balls and setting up the game, while you and Kenji kept teasing each other and pushing each other like two little kids in the park.
“I will beat you and Warner.” Kenji held up his index and middle finger and repeatedly pointed at his eyes and you, gesturing that he was watching every move you would be making.
“We’ll see about that. My boyfriend is pretty trained in these things.”
Kenji huffed out a loud “Ha!” as he shook his head and said, “This is not the gym.”
“Kishimoto!” Aaron called out. “Are you gonna be all talk or you will actually play?”
Kenji gave Aaron a death glare as you chuckled softly and Aaron pulled you in his lap. You watched as Kenji stared at the different bowling balls in front of him and picked one of them up and then set them down once he realized it was too heavy for him. Then, he picked another one up and set it down again. You couldn’t help but giggled softly as Aaron buried his face on your shoulder, shaking his head.
“We’re gonna be here all night.” Aaron murmured through the fabric of your sweater.
You laughed softly, leaning your back against him as you patted his cheek softly.
“I’m here.” You smiled, looking over your shoulder. “I can be your distraction then.”
Aaron let out a soft hum before leaning in to give you a quick kiss on the lips.
“Hey! No, no.” Kenji pointed his index finger at the both of you. “Don’t be doing that shit in front of me.”
You heard as Nazeera sighed behind him, shaking her head. “Just play already!”
Kenji turned to give Nazeera a look before finally picking up a ball and throwing it on the lane in front of him. Immediately, you heard Aaron chuckled and buried his face on your shoulder again. His shoulders were shaking from the laughter that he was trying to hold in. The bowling ball that Kenji threw immediately went towards the gutter and didn’t hit any pins. You clamped a hand over your mouth to stop yourself from laughing.
“That’s not fair!” Kenji turned to the both of you. “I was distracted!”
Nazeera shook her head and rolled her eyes as Kenji picked up the ball again and this time it hit two pins from the corner before going into the gutter completely. You turned your body to bury your face on Aaron’s neck as he pursed his lips and held you close.
“I see you, Princess!” Kenji called out. “Stop laughing at me. It’s just the first round.”
Lifting your face from Aaron’s neck, it was all flushed as you nodded your head at him and held in your smile. Nazeera was next and she immediately hit a perfect strike, making Kenji’s jaw drop on the floor.
“How—” Kenji stared at his girlfriend in awe as she gave him a proud smile.
You got up from Aaron’s lap and sat on the sofa as you watched him pick up the bowling ball. You could already see Kenji rolling his eyes from the corner of your eye. He made a perfect strike as Kenji threw his head back and groaned softly. You couldn’t help but grin widely at your boyfriend as he walked towards you and leaned down to give you a kiss.
“You got this, love.” He whispered before squeezing your waist softly.
Picking up the bowling ball, you threw it towards the lane and hit about half of the pins. You heard Nazeera cheered behind you and when you turned to look at Aaron, he had a proud grin on his face. You threw the bowling ball again and you got a spare.
“Yes!” You fist pumped the air as you skipped towards Aaron.
“Exactly what I thought.” Aaron murmured, kissing your hair softly and pulled you into his lap again.
As Kenji took his turn, he was able to finally hit a good spare, but he was still struggling throughout the night. Nazeera started ordering drinks from the bar and the alcohol was starting to hit Kenji hard. Nazeera had to literally calm him down because he was starting to get so competitive, especially with Aaron.
“Kenji, it’s okay.” You said as he flopped down on the sofa. “We have one more game and you’ll be able to practice more.”
“I don’t need practice.” He said.
You could tell his pride was starting to go up as Nazeera chuckled softly, squeezing his hand in hers. Aaron gave you a small secret smile as he walked back to you after taking his turn. He just hit another strike, and Kenji wasn’t having it. You got up from where you were sitting and took your turn, hitting a strike.
“Princess, I know you’re cheating.” Kenji teased.
You laughed and walked towards him. “I’m not cheating.”
Kenji had a playful smile on his face as he clapped his hands and got up from his seat. Unfortunately for him, you and Aaron won this round. Nazeera, on the other hand, was just peacefully sitting and would whisper little jokes to you about how she bet Kenji would cry later tonight if he didn’t win this round.
“Okay, one more game.” Kenji called as he set up the names on the screen again.
Nazeera got up from her seat and ordered herself another drink, while you heard Aaron let out a deep sigh, burying his face on your neck. You smiled and watched Kenji’s determined expression as he looked over his shoulder and saw the smirk on your face.
“Just watch, Princess.” He said.
You raised your brows and nodded your head as if you were agreeing with whatever crazy idea he was having in his mind. After Nazeera came back with some drinks, you leaned back on your seat and watched as Kenji took his turn. This time, his determination was truly starting to pay off because he started getting better throughout the third game. It got to the point where he and Aaron started competing with each other.
“If we leave, I’m sure they won’t even notice.” Nazeera whispered to you.
“Honestly, I’m starting to suggest the same thing that maybe you and I should just leave any minute.” You whispered back as you and Nazeera laughed
Towards the end of the game, both Kenji and Aaron were tied and for some reason, your score was a lot higher than the both of them. Nazeera was just tired to the point where she didn’t care anymore. The alcohol that was running in Kenji’s blood was making him more competitive. You have been teasing him all night, and he kept rolling his eyes, which amused Aaron and Nazeera.
“Princess, I swear, I don’t know how you’re so good at cheating.” Kenji picked up the ball.
“I’m not cheating. Don’t be a sore loser, Kenji.” You joked.
“Watch.” Kenji threw the ball and immediately hit a strike as he threw his fists in the air. “Ah! See!”
You shook your head and at this point, Nazeera was just sliding in her seat in embarrassment as she drank the rest of her alcohol. Aaron had wrapped his arm around your shoulder and yawned softly. All of you were getting a bit tired, and Kenji was the only one who still had some energy in him. After throwing the ball for the second round, Kenji hit another strike, which made his score higher and beat everyone in the game.
“Oh good.” Aaron got up from his seat. “We can finally go home.”
You clapped your hands, laughing as you walked towards him. You lightly punched Kenji on the arm as he wrapped an arm around your neck and pulled you against him.
“Who are you calling a bitch now, huh?” Kenji said. “Not me.”
“Alright, alright.” You shrugged, slipping his arm away from you. “I mean… you still kinda are.”
“Hey, fuck you.” Kenji pointed his index finger at you as you rolled your eyes and chuckled.
“What did you just say to her?” Aaron suddenly appeared behind you.
You looked over your shoulder and saw the anger that was washing over Aaron. His eyes were giving Kenji a death glare
“Aaron, it’s fine.” You reassured him as you held onto his forearm.
“No, it’s not, love.” He gazed down at you before looking back at Kenji. “Don’t talk to her like that!”
Aaron took a step forward as you tried to stop him. “Aaron, no. It’s fine.”
“Hey, man.” Kenji held up his hands in the air. “We were just kidding.”
You could see the fear in Kenji’s eyes as Nazeera joined the three of you. She intertwined her fingers with his as she looked at Aaron with big eyes.
“Aaron, calm down.” Nazeera said. “He was just kidding.”
“It doesn’t matter if he was kidding,” Aaron looked at Nazeera before looking back at Kenji with his wild emerald eyes. “You don’t talk to her like that!”
You saw how Aaron really took this seriously as you set a palm on his chest. He was breathing heavily as you squeezed his forearm.
“Aaron, look at me.” You said, trying to calm him down but it was no use.
“I will rip your head off your body if you talk to her like that again.”
You looked over your shoulder and glanced at Nazeera, who was also holding Kenji back.
“Nazeera, get him out of here for a minute. I’ll see you outside.” You stated.
Just like that, Nazeera took Kenji’s hand and tugged on it. For a moment, Kenji was still staring at Aaron before he finally squeezed Nazeera’s hand and walked out with her. You let out a sigh as Aaron let go of you from his arms. You watched as he sat back down and shook his head. You could see the anger inside him slowly fading away as soon as Kenji was out of sight.
You stood in front of Aaron as he gazed up at you, his green eyes looked tired and crestfallen as he saw you staring at him. He got up from his seat and cupped your face in his hands.
“I’m sorry.” He murmured. “I’m sorry for making a scene.”
“It’s okay.” You slid your hands and gripped his wrists gently. “Aaron, that’s just how Kenji and I talk to each other. I know he didn’t mean it.”
“I just…” Aaron exhaled a sharp breath. “I hate seeing other people talk to you like that. They shouldn’t be talking to you like that, love.”
“I know but seriously, this is a normal thing about me and Kenji. We’re just comfortable.”
“Too comfortable.”
You couldn’t help but laugh as you wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him close to you. He gave you a small soft smile, his nose grazing softly on yours. He let out a soft hum before pressing his lips on yours, kissing you so softly. You smiled through the kiss as you ran your fingers through his golden hair.
“C’mon. They’re waiting outside.” You murmured as you parted from the kiss.
Aaron threw his head back in frustration as you intertwined your fingers with his and dragged him out of the bowling place. In the parking lot, you found Nazeera and Kenji talking to each other by Kenji’s car. As soon as they saw the both of you, Kenji immediately crossed his arms in front of his chest, his brows all furrowed and he looked irritated. You glanced up at Aaron, giving him a look as he let out a sigh.
“I’m sorry.” Aaron said, his voice was cold.
“For?” Kenji raised his brows, a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
“For telling you that I will rip your head out of your body.” Aaron’s grip on your waist tightened as you held in your chuckle.
Nazeera, on the other hand, couldn’t help but let out a snort as soon as Aaron said those words. You pursed your lips as you softly rubbed Aaron’s back, comforting him.
“Water under the bridge.” Kenji replied.
“Well,” Nazeera clapped her hands. “This was fun. We should do it again. Although, I don’t think we should drink next time.”
“I didn’t.” Aaron argued.
Nazeera tilted her head at him before shaking her head. She said her goodbye to you, pulling you into a hug and whispered, “Next time, it’s just going to be us girls.”
You laughed softly, nodding your head as you embraced her before giving Kenji a look and giving him a hug goodbye. As soon as Kenji and Nazeera drove off, Aaron turned you around to face him as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
“Let’s go home?” You asked.
“Why don’t we get ice cream first?” Aaron suggested.
“Hm… Ice cream sounds good. It will cool off that head of yours.” You teased, patting the back of his head.
Aaron chuckled softly, pulling you in for a kiss.
“Ice cream it is then.” He murmured, opening the passenger door for you.
The End.
