ok so. permission to take you on this journey i just went through with me? it's like a drive around a parking lot in terms of journeys so that's what you're in for, just to be upfront.

so I was watching Hocus Pocus with the kids, since we didn't finish it before halloween. In fact we barely watched any of it but I asked "what do you want to watch" and the kid was set on it. Hocus Pocus.

That's not important to the journey, however neither is anything else. It's a pointless journey.

So we're watching Hocus Pocus, well the kid is, I'm not really but oh well. I watched it enough to know what was happening, the main kid gets bullied and these bully kids steal his shoes (and then he gets mad at his sister for humiliating him in front of the bullies? idk I missed something in between there.)

Anyway. Not the point. Taking a lot of detours in this parking lot.

So this bully kid I'm watching and I'm like, does he look familiar? And he's like yknow every bully kid in a kids show ever but BUT

The performance is like. So similar to watching Karofsky in Glee. More than just yknow, any given bully character. Like. So similar.

I'm like, you know obviously it's not the same guy, glee came out like what, sixteen years after Hocus Pocus? Whatever, I can google it later. But like, they could have taken inspiration from this performance for their Karofsky character 16 years later, sure.

But why? Isn't it like idk kinda random?

(If you're more familiar with actors and stuff than I apparently am, this is probably enough story for you. Maybe your journey is done. You can finally leave the parking lot.)

So like... I do google it. And I get on the guy's imdb page and you know imdb, it shows everything someone has been in in reverse order. So obviously I'm reading down and it's like...

I don't know any of these shows or anything. Like did I actually recognize him at all? Maybe he just looks like someone--

He's fucking Larry from Buffy.
