Blocking Ads on Mobile Devices
Blocking ads on our phones is way harder than it should be so I figured I'd make some recommendations. These are not the only options out there, just the ones that I know and use.
Please note that browser-level and system-level adblocking are complementary; you'll have the best experience if you use both of them together as they each block different things in different places. If you want a basic idea of how effective your combined adblocking setup is, you can visit this website in your mobile browser.
Lastly, there is some additional advice/info under the readmore if you're curious (EDIT: updated June 2024 to add info about sideloading altered versions of social media apps that don't contain ads on Android and iOS).
Android
Browser-Level
uBlock Origin (for Firefox)
System-Level (works in all apps, not just browsers)
AdGuard
Blokada 5 (completely free version) OR Blokada 6 (has some newer features but they require a subscription)
iPhone/iPad
Browser-Level
AdGuard (Safari extension; free for basic browser-level blocking, requires a subscription for custom filters)
System-Level (works in all apps, not just browsers)
AdGuard (requires subscription for system-level blocking)
AdGuard DNS only (this is free and does not require the AdGuard app, BUT I would only recommend it for advanced users, as you can't easily turn it off like you can with the app. Credit to this Reddit thread for the DNS profile)
Some additional info: browser-level blocking is a browser addon or extension, like you might be used to from a desktop computer. This inspects the HTML code returned by websites and searches for patterns that identify the presence of an ad or other annoyance (popup videos, cookie agreements, etc.). System-level blocking is almost always DNS-based. Basically whenever an app asks your phone's OS to make a connection to a website that is known for serving ads, the system-level blocker replies "sorry, I don't know her 🤷‍♂️💅" and the ad doesn't get downloaded. This works in most places, not just a browser, but be warned that it might make your battery drain a little faster depending on the app/setup.
Each of those types of blocking has strengths and weaknesses. System-level DNS blocking blocks ads in all apps, but companies that own advertising networks AND the websites those ads are served on can combine their services into the same domain to render DNS blocking useless; you can’t block ads served by Facebook/Meta domains without also blocking all of Facebook and Instagram as well because they made sure their ads are served from the same domain as all the user posts you actually want to see. Similarly, browser-level blocking can recognize ads by appearance and content, regardless of what domain they’re served from, so it can block them on Instagram and Facebook. However, it needs to be able to inspect the content being loaded in order to look for ads, and there’s no way to do that in non-browser apps. That’s why using both together will get you the best results.
These limitations do mean that you can’t block ads in the Facebook or Instagram apps, unfortunately, only in the website versions of them visited in your browser. It also means ads served by meta’s/facebook’s ad network in other apps can’t be blocked either (unless you're one of the rare beasts who doesn't use facebook or instagram or threads, in which case feel free to blacklist all Meta/FB domains and watch your ads disappear 😍; I'm jealous and in awe of you lol).
One note: some apps may behave unpredictably when they can't download ads. For example, the Tumblr app has big black spaces where the ads are, and sometimes those spaces collapse as you scroll past them and it messes up scrolling for a few seconds (UPDATE: looks like the scrolling issue may have actually been a Tumblr bug that they have now fixed, at least on iOS). Still way less annoying than getting ads for Draco Malfoy seduction roleplay AI chatbots imo though. And honestly *most* apps handle this fairly gracefully, like a mobile game I play just throws error messages like "ad is not ready" and then continues like normal.
One final note: on Android, you may actually be able to find hacked versions of Meta’s apps that have the ad frameworks removed. In some cases they are a little janky (unsurprisingly, apps don’t always take kindly to having some of their innards ripped out by a third-party), and they are often out of date. BUT in return you get an Instagram app with no ads whatsoever, and some of them even add additional features like buttons for saving IG videos and photos to your phone. However, use these apps at your own risk, as there is functionally no way to validate the code that the third-parties have added or removed from the app. Example altered IG app (I have not vetted this altered app, it's just a popular option): link.
It is technically possible to install altered apps on iOS as well, but Apple makes it much, much harder to do (unless you are jailbroken, which is a whole different ballgame). I'm not going to cover sideloading or jailbreaking here because even I as a very techy person eventually grew tired of messing with it or having to pay for it. If you're interested you can read more about the different ways to do sideloading on iOS here.

Tumblr media
"l/n m/n?" the security guard asked. you nodded, giving him your id when he asked for it. he looked it over, passed it back to you, and knocked lightly on the door before opening it a crack to let san know you had arrived.
your heart started screaming in your chest the moment you heard san's voice calling you to come in, and the security guard gestured you inside before shutting & locking the door behind you. you spent nearly all your willpower to keep your face from turning impossibly cherry-red as you sat down on the couch per san's silent gesture.
awkward silence...
lots of very tense, awkward silence.
"so... three hours, huh?" san said, breaking the silence after a while.
"heh- yeah..." you giggled sheepishly, scratching the back of your neck awkwardly.
"i get you all to myself for a whole three hours..." he said in a quiet, almost worryingly chipper voice.
"i… y-yeah," you stuttered, turning away.
"c'mere, come play a dinosaur game with me." san said with a happy smile, patting the couch cushion to his left and waving his phone in the air.
"s-sure," you said, pulling out your phone and opening ark- assuming that was the game he was referring to. (a/n: indeed it was. ark is the only game i know a lot about so its ark. author's rules, shut up.)
the offer did make you blush, yes, but it was more so the words that came out of his mouth next that shook you to your core. the words that started the nagging in the back of your mind; that little voice that insisted that something was off.
you gave san your username and he invited you to a private server he'd created, and you and him played the game for about thirty minutes, the silence between you and the man of your dreams finally beginning to feel comfortable. until san rent it in two and left the pieces to rot between you and him.
"y'know, you're awfully quiet and shy for someone walking around giving off such a loudly pronounced aura."
you had nothing to say to this, so you shifted in your seat a bit and tried to continue playing the game, trying your best to ignore the fact that san was quite obviously a) hitting on you, and b) scooting closer and closer to you.
"oh come on, i know you have an answer to that." he sniped playfully, putting his phone down and shoving your shoulder gently with the strength of his.
"san, everything i have in mind to say in response to that would get me blacklisted from everything ateez ever does for the rest of my gay, miserable existence." you said back sassily before continuing your game once more.
"oh you like men, do you?" san teased, "am i your type?"
you stayed silent.
san leaned in and sent a shiver down your spine as you felt his breath on your neck.
"'cus you're definitely mine."
this is when you lost your last ounce of self control.
"god fucking damn it all, choi san, you and your fucking rizz." you spat, throwing your phone aside onto the floor- it was an iphone, and the case was pretty durable… right?
tossing aside every drop of dignity you had, you turned, looked san right in the eyes for a fraction of a second, and the pounced. your hands made identical beelines for san's chiseled face and your lips connected with his in what could very well have been a car crash, your tongue forcing its way into his mouth and your hands tangling into his soft black hair. you ate up the needy groan that ripped through his throat, tangling your tongue with his and feeding him a growl of your own as his hands went up under your shirt and began to roam your back and shoulders. a small whimper escaped your lips when he raked his nails down your shoulders and upper back without warning; he smirked smugly into the kiss and gestured impatiently for you to be rid of your shirt.
he wanted to see your body.
san yanked softly on your hair and leaned down to whisper in your ear.
"y'know, i could really use a bit of a confidence boost, little prince..."
you giggled into san's ear, gladly indulging in the things he was asking for.
"oh san, the things i could say... where do i start?" you hummed, "mmm... your jawline, first off. you could literally cut me with this bitch and i would pay to have it done again."
san chuckled, nuzzling into your neck and biting down on the skin there.
"keep talking and you might get something out of it, pretty boy." he purred into your ear, starting to leave bruises all over your neck.
you giggled again, leaving a bite mark of your own on san's throat before continuing your speech.
"and you're literally shaped like a fucking dorito," you snapped in a loud voice, "and for what? for what, san?? are you trying to become aphrodite?? 'cus it's working like a fucking charm..."
san's pride had already been flying through the roof (probably for no reason at all, honestly), but hearing you talk about him the way you just did honestly had him twitching in his pants. he put his hand over your mouth to shush you, immediately replacing it with his mouth and shoving his tongue into yours. he wrapped his arms tighter around your waist, leaving brand new, stinging, scorching hot scratch marks down your back and shoulders, and his eyes rolled back into his head when you growled hungrily into his mouth.
"f-fuck, san..." you whimpered, wrapping your legs around his waist.
san broke away from the kiss, rolling over into the back of the couch and nuzzling into your neck again.
"well," he said smugly, "i've got the confidence boost i wanted... but now you've given me another problem to deal with."
your eyebrows nearly disappeared into your hair.
"san..."
"yes, darling?"
"are... are you asking me to suck your dick?"
silence.
"yes." san decided after a couple moments. "yes i am."
"gimme."
that was the only answer san needed.
~~~
"fuck..." san whimpered, "fuck, right there, YES, FUCK--"
"yeah?" you cooed, slapping san's face softly and listening happily to his high-pitched whining as you continued dicking him down into oblivion. "you like that, bitch? you're such a nasty slut, you like this, don't you? you like being slapped around..."
"y-yes sir," san whimpered, "f-fuck, it feels so good- fuck, right there, please-"
"such a pretty little fucking slut..." you growled, wrapping your hand around his throat and squeezing as hard as you could.
"m-m/n, fuck, right there, yeah-"
"what was that, bitch? what'd you say?"
"fuck, sir, right there..." san corrected himself in a high-pitched voice, as quickly as he could through the fog that was taking over his brain.
"good boy, that's better." you purred, laying down on top of him and speeding up your ministrations as fast and hard as you could without hurting yourself. san made a sound that was somewhere between a moan and a high-pitched whine as the tip of your dick hit his already-abused prostate.
"fuck, fuck, FUCK, sir, right there, shit- breed meee," san groaned, burying his face in your shoulder and let the feelings of you fucking your load into him hit him like a subway train. he groaned into your neck and bit down as hard as he could, screaming into your neck as his orgasm took him and flew away into the clouds with him.
"you're such a pretty boy," you praised, "you took my dick so well..."
The Hogwarts Legacy boycott is the most counterproductive internet activism I’ve ever witnessed
Note: I’m not playing Hogwarts Legacy because I think the author is overrated and hasn’t been good in years. And well, again, feeling concerned about some of her opinions on transgender people.
With that said, finding it very interesting how everyone are harrassing anyone who dares to touch the game, whether by purchasing it or by playing a free copy or by pirating, due to the transphobic views of the author... On Twitter. Which is ran by Elon Musk. A transphobe.
Not just that, but Twitter most certainly on the regular hosts and spreads more antisemitic and transphobic views on their site than Hogwarts Legacy ever will...
I especially find it fascinating when tweets show they were sent from iPhones. You know, iPhones, primarily made in China, likely helping fund the genocide of Uighur Muslims.
If you choose to boycott the game for concerns over transphobia or antisemitism, then I do commend you for that. I’m a big proponent of the idea that people need to show their opinion with their wallets more often. Rejecting something you could’ve enjoyed because you don’t want to contribute to making the world a less safe to live is commendable. For the same reason I have a lot of respect for vegetarians and vegans. I could never do it. More power to you.
With that said, no one consumes cruelty-free in reality. You’ve probably eaten meat. Or used Twitter. Or had an iPhone. All things that you didn’t actually need to do in order to survive, but things you chose to do anyway.
Why did you? Likely because it’s impossible to care about all causes at once. No one is capable of doing so.
When deciding what to focus on, it’s likely a competition between what is easiest to give up and what cause you care the most about. Hogwarts Legacy is probably to most very easy to give up. To others, not so much. Which may sound silly, but then again, so is choosing Twitter (created by a transphobe) over going outside and touching some grass (created by Mother Earth who is likely not a transphobe). We all have something we’re attached to that we don’t actually need.
There’s an additional angle to this, though. Not only is it hypocritical to shame others for consuming in a way that could potentially fund something you consider harmful, but it’s also ineffective.
An aggressive approach is counterproductive.
Similarly to how you’re probably not going to make someone stop smoking by putting a cigarette out on their skin and yelling at them how they’re going to get cancer, sending death threats to people for playing a video game is unlikely to be effective either. Chances are they’ll double down. Note how some responses to this organized bullying has been “well then, I’m going to buy two copies”? Congratulations, the hydra grew two more heads and now the game earned even more money. Odd how you’d want to contribute to that if your concern is genuinely that buying the game could cause transgender people to die en masse.
Hogwarts Legacy became the best-selling game on Steam before even being released. Not just in spite of the boycott, but also in spite of the bad reputation of early access game releases.
Perhaps the biggest irony of it all is J.K. Rowling’s fear of transgender women surpressing cis women are now as a result of the boycott suddenly not looking so unwarranted. Women streamers have been pushed to tears. Girlfriend Reviews being an especially sad case, where a Jewish woman received a free copy of the game, donated any money earned from it to transgender charity, and yet was harrassed, threatened, blacklisted, and even had some accounts on social media shut down due to said boycotters making deliberately false reports of hate speech. I guess it wasn’t enough that J.K. Rowling herself got death threats and had a book written about her in which she dies a gruesome death. No, instead activists doubled down on the misogyny.
And it’s sad. It’s genuinely sad. A movement that should be about the freedom of loving and respecting people for who they are and who they choose to be has now instead become an authoritarian movement against wrongthink and a breeding ground for bullies and oppressors.
Working for artists that decided to go solo was the worst — pun not intended. That was the first thing Kai thought of when she checked her email in the coffee shop. Drinking a basic bitch pumpkin latte as she had been editing pictures from the last concert she’d taken photos for when that email notification had appeared.
Fuck.
There’d been a time where Kai would have jumped for joy at the thought of shooting this show. After all, she’d been a huge fan of The Knights Of Ren — a secret she’d planned to take to her grave now. Despite what one might say, amicable splits in bands were hardly such, and boy had she heard a lot about the lead singer since.
Her fingers typed out a reply. Insisting the job might not be the best for her. It doesn’t matter that the pay is great. It doesn’t matter that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. She had to tell herself that, because she wouldn’t allow herself to think anything else.
It was only a few minutes after Kai had hit send that she got a phone call. iPhone vibrating violently against the tabletop that only seemed more demanding when she realized who it was. Of course, the company she worked for wouldn’t understand. Of course her boss was going to call her up and scream at her the moment she said no. Be damned the possible embarrassment, because while Kai rarely ever got starstruck — this was deeper than that.
“Before you yell at me, give me a chance to explain-“ Kai answered the phone, but there was no kindness or understanding to be had. It wasn’t a question. It wasn’t a suggestion. He wanted the best photographer they have and that was her. God dammit that was her. Of course came the threats too. That she’d be blacklisted. That she’d never shoot another show again for as long as her boss lived and while he was hanging on a thread, Kai couldn’t stand to wait that long.
Fuck.
“Alright. Alright. I’ll do it, but I hope you feel guilty for making me do it.” Kai hung up, not waiting for a response. She slammed her laptop shut and chugged the rest of her latte. Today was gonna be a long day.
—
Checking in for her photo pass was annoying to say the least. Everyone seemed to be assholes. No matter how big of platforms Kai wore, people still saw her as small. Annoyance was spread out on her face even as she got backstage. Her camera was hanging loosely from her neck. She furiously was sending a text to her mom to stop by her place to take the dogs out or they’d piss all over the house. Again.
She was leaning against the wall in one of the hallways where there wasn’t a lot of movement. Thought she’d be safe there, but then she saw someone in the corner of her eye. Ignore it. Don’t pay attention to anyone and they won’t pay attention to you, but then the body didn’t move. Like it was expecting something.
“Can I help you?” She didn’t bother to look at who it was. Part of her could tell. Instead, she nervously flicked through her phone with one hand, the other pushing stray curls behind her ear. What did he want?
hey mate love yuor blog but can you please tag your hockey posts? i can't blacklist them all when they're not tagged or labelled. you're a cool artist and i don't wanna unfollow, sorry and thx
hey anon!
sorry, not gonna lie, i'm dead ass not going to keep up with that. i'm planning on getting a monthly art round up newsletter set up in the next month or so, so if you're just interested in my art content keep an eye out for that. check back in the new year, even. frankly, tumblr has always been the kind of social media i use to enjoy whatever i'm currently extremely focused on and right now hockey is part of that morass of trash. and ever since the xkit iphone app died, i don't really tag unless i have something i want to say specifically. the difference between click and hold and click and tag is enough that i'll stop using the thing all together. (we were blessed in the day of one click tag and reblog). if i started a side blog about it, i'd abandon my main blog. the demon driving my meat suit doesn't make a ton of sense, but i've come to understand the rules. i'm on every other social media as well, though a lot more sporadically. you'll have to turn off my RTs on twitter if you're planning to avoid the hockey content, though. that's where all the live gifs are.
full name. gage thatcher
age. 29
residential area. x
hometown.  siesta key, florida
occupation. handyman for siesta repairs
faceclaim. cam gigandet
glazed eyes, unorganized apartment, beer and cigarettes, broken surfboards, saltwater, skating through life, wasted potential, long naps, late night bonfires, cracked iphone screen, being a shell of who you really are, always wanting more, clenched fists, fighting outside bars, mugshots, black eyes, bloody lips, avoiding family reunions, wetsuits, spiked coffee, one-night stands.
HISTORY
gage was raised in siesta key but his family didn’t have all the bells and whistles most families did. he was the one with the outdated iphone and knockoffs, the kid who couldn’t concentrate in class or pass a test without cheating. his confidence was blown from an early age and no matter how much time he spent trying to build it up, he always failed.
surfing was something he was good at. once he caught onto it, he excelled and it made him feel like he had something special to hold onto. he didn’t feel like a complete failure when he was in the water, ripping waves better than anyone else. but it was his temper that held him back from being scouted during competitions. he didn’t have much sportsmanship and would get into fights when he thought someone was disrespecting him.
because of his overall attitude, he wound up with a bad crowd and got into partying and drugs. he was kicked out of his house at 15 and sought affection through one-night stands. he never got attached to anyone but camila, his best friend’s girlfriend, but she was off-limits despite them hooking up in secret.
after high school, gage would get sponsored by a group called ‘locals only’. they didn’t pay well and the surf equipment he’d receive from them was cheap, but he felt like he accomplished something and would eventually rise to the top. however, that didn’t happen. 10 years of traveling coast to coast didn’t turn him into a superstar. he was scammed out of so many opportunities and eventually got into a fistfight with his boss. now blacklisted from competition, gage has returned to siesta key for good. he’s been working under his uncle cooley as a hired handyman. “if it breaks, we can fix it,” that’s the motto. it’s lame and humiliating but it pays his bills.
BULLSBET.IO CONFISCATE PLAYER'S PAYOUT, SCAM/SYSTEM ERROR?!
When it comes to online gaming, few moments are more exhilarating than hitting a major win. But for one player, a €17,000 jackpot at Bullsbet.io Casino quickly became a source of frustration. The casino declined to pay out, citing a “multiple accounts” violation—a charge the player says is unfounded. This incident highlights growing concerns around Bullsbet.io’s treatment of customers, technical issues, and the casino's reputation across review sites. Let’s break down the details.
Winning Big but Losing Out?
After accumulating €17,000 in winnings, the player was shocked to see Bullsbet.io reject their payout request. The casino alleged that evidence of “multiple accounts”—based on IP addresses, device activity, and cookies—disqualified them from claiming their funds. The player insists they have only used one account, logging in from a single home connection to avoid any risks, and suspects Bullsbet.io might be leveraging this accusation to withhold large payouts.
A Series of Frustrations: Technical Issues Galore
The player’s concerns grew after encountering several technical issues leading up to the denied payout:
Wager Tracking Errors: Even after completing the necessary gameplay, their wagering progress only registered around 50% of what it should have.
Restricted Games: Key games required for meeting bonus terms were suddenly inaccessible, disrupting their strategy.
Account Lockouts and Delayed Support: The player experienced temporary lockouts and slow response times from support, adding to the complications and leaving many issues unresolved.
An industry-savvy friend of the player suggested that Bullsbet.io may be using a flawed in-house detection tool, which can sometimes produce false positives, particularly for iPhone users. These ongoing glitches and delayed responses made the player question the casino’s reliability.
Troubling Reviews and a Blacklisted Status
In search of answers, the player reviewed Bullsbet.io’s online reputation. They discovered that Bullsbet.io has a troubling history on popular review sites, including CasinoInCanada, where players frequently report similar complaints about denied payouts, sudden account suspensions, and poor customer support. Due to these recurring issues, several platforms have blacklisted Bullsbet.io, advising players to avoid the casino altogether.
Dispute Resolution Through Casino Guru—With No Resolution
Looking for help, the player turned to Casino Guru, a dispute mediation service known for assisting in player-casino conflicts. Unfortunately, Casino Guru ultimately backed Bullsbet.io, concluding that the casino’s claims were valid. However, the player wasn’t given any substantial evidence, leading to questions about the transparency and fairness of the decision.
Lessons for Players: How to Protect Yourself
This experience serves as a reminder for players to proceed cautiously when playing online. Here are some practical tips:
Research First: Always check a casino’s history, player reviews, and see if they appear on any blacklists.
Keep Records: Documentation is key—save your wagers, transactions, and communications with support to have a clear history if a dispute arises.
Look for Casinos Using Third-Party Monitoring Tools: Third-party systems tend to offer more impartial results than internal tools, which may be less reliable.
What’s Next? A Fight for Fair Treatment
The player, intent on claiming their winnings, is now considering legal action and seeking industry professionals who can assist in their case. They’re also offering a success fee for help in resolving this issue, aiming to shed light on Bullsbet.io’s alleged practices and raise awareness for other players.
Industry Standards and the Importance of Transparency
This incident brings attention to a wider issue: the need for higher standards and transparency in the online gaming industry. For players to feel secure, casinos need to provide clear terms, transparent policies, and responsive support. Bullsbet.io’s alleged actions serve as a reminder that online casinos should be held to a high standard of fairness.
Closing Thoughts: Play Safe and Be Informed
If you’re considering playing on Bullsbet.io—or any online casino—remember the importance of doing your research and staying informed. By checking reviews, keeping records, and choosing reputable casinos, you can help protect yourself from potential disputes. This player’s experience underscores the need for accountability, fairness, and better support within the online gaming community
BULLSBET CASINO SCAM!
Online casinos promise thrills and the hope of hitting it big. However, for one seasoned player, winning €17,000 at Bullsbet.io turned into a battle against denied withdrawals and a dispute over alleged “multiple accounts.” Here’s a detailed look into the incident that’s sparked concern and frustration in the online gaming community.
A Huge Win, But a Bigger Problem
This player’s excitement over a major €17,000 win quickly faded when Bullsbet.io refused to release the funds, claiming the player had violated the “one account per player” rule. Bullsbet.io argued that the player’s IP address, device information, and cookies indicated multiple accounts. However, the player insists that they only accessed their account from a secure home connection and operated within all casino guidelines. This has left them questioning if Bullsbet.io may be using these rules as a pretext to deny legitimate winnings.
Technical Issues and Delayed Customer Support Responses
Leading up to this issue, the player reported several technical challenges and limited support that made it harder to comply with casino requirements:
Wager Progress Errors: Despite completing the necessary gameplay, their wagering progress appeared to register at only half, making it difficult to complete bonus conditions.
Restricted Game Access: Key games for meeting bonus terms became inaccessible during play sessions.
Temporary Lockouts and Slow Support: The player faced temporary lockouts from their account and struggled to receive timely responses from customer support.
Upon conferring with a friend familiar with casino systems, the player suspects Bullsbet.io’s internal detection system may have triggered these “multiple accounts” flags by mistake, especially given the issues that sometimes arise with iPhone devices.
Blacklisted on Review Sites: A Troubling Reputation
Upon further research, the player discovered that Bullsbet.io has earned a poor reputation on review sites like CasinoInCanada, where other players have reported similar experiences, including sudden account suspensions, blocked withdrawals, and unsatisfactory customer service. Bullsbet.io’s repeated issues have led some review sites to blacklist the casino, advising players to stay away. For this player, learning that others had experienced similar treatment only reinforced their concerns.
Attempts to Resolve Through Casino Guru: Unanswered Questions
In a final attempt to resolve the issue, the player sought out Casino Guru, a platform that assists players in disputes with casinos. Unfortunately, Casino Guru sided with Bullsbet.io, stating that the casino’s claims were justified. However, no evidence was provided beyond the casino’s account, leaving the player disappointed and questioning Casino Guru’s impartiality.
Takeaways for Players: How to Protect Yourself
This experience is a stark reminder that players should remain cautious and informed. Here are some tips for a safer online casino experience:
Read Reviews and Check Reputations: Before signing up, research the casino’s history. Avoid platforms with repeated complaints or blacklisted status.
Document All Activity: Record your wagers, transactions, and any correspondence with support in case of disputes.
Look for Casinos with Transparent Policies and Third-Party Verification: Casinos that use external verification tools tend to offer more reliable and accurate monitoring, giving players peace of mind.
Moving Forward: The Player’s Next Steps
Determined to obtain their rightful winnings, the player is considering legal recourse and seeking assistance from industry experts who might help resolve their case. By sharing their story, they hope to warn other players and hold Bullsbet.io accountable. Offering a success fee for those who can aid in securing their winnings, the player aims to set a precedent that will push the casino industry toward higher standards.
An Urgent Call for Transparency in Online Casinos
The incident with Bullsbet.io brings attention to the need for better transparency and accountability in online gaming. To build trust, online casinos should be held to high standards, with clear policies, fair customer service, and reliable verification processes. Bullsbet.io’s alleged actions are a reminder of why these standards matter, especially as online gaming continues to grow.
Final Thoughts: Play Responsibly and Stay Informed
For anyone considering Bullsbet.io or any online casino, this player’s experience highlights the importance of staying vigilant. Take time to review casino policies, read user feedback, and choose platforms with solid reputations. In sharing this story, the hope is that it not only serves as a warning but also inspires a call for fairness, responsibility, and respect for players’ rights across the online gaming world.
Genuinely good advice if you are addicted to gacha or if you’re an impulse spender like me is avoid basically any mobile game with micro transactions. I know the iPhone market tags them I’m not sure about android. I promise you if you have an addictive personality shelling out like 3-10 dollars for a paid for game that has no micro transactions, will save you so much in the long run rather than going for a free-to-play game with micro transactions.
Genuinely it has helped me so much. When I first got access to adult money I blew no joke three hundred dollars on mobile games in a month. These games are designed to be addictive, low seratonin reward if you play without spending money because of wait times and more rewarding when you spend money because you get quicker dopamine hits. They are DESIGNED to bleed you dry.
UNINSTALL. DELETE. BLACKLIST.
Your friendly reminder to not spend money on gacha.
10 THINGS TO CHECK BEFORE BUYING A USED IPHONE
Tumblr media
Exterior Condition: Inspect the phone for physical damage, such as scratches, dents, and cracks. Ensure the screen is intact and the body is in good shape.
Battery Health: Check the battery health under Settings > Battery > Battery Health. A battery health above 80% is preferable.
Check for Activation Lock: Ensure the iPhone is not locked to the previous owner's Apple ID. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to see if it prompts for the previous owner’s Apple ID.
IMEI and Serial Number: Verify the IMEI and serial number are legitimate and not blacklisted. Check these numbers on Apple's warranty status page to confirm authenticity and remaining warranty.
Functionality Test: Test all buttons (home, volume, power), cameras, speakers, microphone, and ports to ensure they work properly. Make calls and test Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Software and iOS Version: Ensure the iPhone runs the latest iOS version it supports. Check for any available software updates in Settings > General > Software Update.
Carrier Compatibility: Verify the iPhone is unlocked or compatible with your carrier. If it's locked, it should match the carrier you intend to use.
Accessories and Original Box: Confirm if the seller includes original accessories like the charger, headphones, and the original box. Authentic accessories enhance the value.
Warranty and Return Policy: Check if there's any remaining AppleCare or extended warranty. Also, confirm the seller’s return policy in case the phone has issues.
Price Comparison: Compare the asking price with similar listings to ensure it’s reasonable. Consider the phone’s condition, age, and included accessories when evaluating its value.
Understanding the Importance of IMEI Check
Tumblr media
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit number assigned to every mobile device. This number serves as a crucial identifier for your phone, similar to a serial number for a product. IMEI check is used to verify the authenticity of a device and its history, helping users make informed decisions when buying or selling a mobile phone.
One of the primary reasons why IMEI check is essential is to prevent the purchase of stolen or blacklisted devices. When a phone is reported stolen or lost, its IMEI number is blacklisted by the network carriers, making it impossible to use the device with any carrier. By conducting an IMEI check before buying a used phone, users can verify if the device has been reported stolen and avoid purchasing a device that may be blocked by network carriers.
IMEI check also helps in verifying the authenticity of a device. With the rise of counterfeit mobile phones in the market, it has become crucial to verify the IMEI number to ensure that the device is genuine and not a fake replica iPhone check IMEI. By cross-referencing the IMEI number with the manufacturer's database, users can confirm the legitimacy of the device before making a purchase.
Furthermore, IMEI check provides users with information about the device's specifications, warranty status, and history. By entering the IMEI number on online IMEI checkers, users can access details such as the model, manufacturer, color, storage capacity, and warranty status of the device. This information can help users make informed decisions when buying a used phone and avoid potential scams or frauds.
In conclusion, IMEI check is vital for verifying the authenticity, history, and status of a mobile device. By conducting an IMEI check before buying or selling a phone, users can ensure that they are dealing with a legitimate device and avoid potential risks associated with stolen or fake phones.
