I love the book so far, but the only problem I have and I know this is nitpicking sooo please forgive but mc's job before. Like I know they wanted to make her out of place but an actress?? If they wanted artifacts a history teacher or major or something. Or they could have not done the whole time thing and make her like a princess or a prince that have to get the medallion from Edward to save her kingdom or something so they pretend to be a part of his crew and have to attempt to not get caught

yeah the whole actress thing is.... i guess they wanted her to have a reason for being able to fool the pirates but tbh so far she’s displayed mediocre acting at best lmao

i would have loved the princess/prince idea & they wouldn’t have had to set it in the 18th century it could have just been a fantasy/magical pirates book

Aizawa deserves so much better. I felt like the quirk bullet was gonna hit him but I was not expecting him to chop his leg off without any hesitation. AND DID YOU SEE HOW MUCH HE CARES ABOUT CLASS 1A? MY HEART LITERALLY STARTED WEEPING OVER HOW MUCH HE CARES FOR THEM. Like I know it’s his job to protect other but he really goes above and beyond for them. Honestly the best teacher in the series

Shigaraki does have a point about the hero society but at the end of the day he needs to be beefing with AFO too bc everything that happened to Shiggy can be traced all the way back to AFO. Can’t wait for Shigaraki to turn around and kill him.

Shigaraki still has 2-3 bullets left (I think) and Todoroki now there?? I think Dabi gonnna appear soon and we’ll finally get that Reveal.

Like SORSCHA In the beginning of HOF Dorian said healers used to be one of the MOST powerful people who used magic and the introduced Sorscha refugee who watched her home burn in front of her, her parents die in an immigrant purge and then become a HEALER for the same man who did that, then becomes a SPY not only is that -

(2nd ask) a beautiful arc she could have used it would have been a PERFECT way to introduce magic healers which was what I thought was going to happen because WHY mention it if you are not going to make it happen WHAT And she was also black and came from eyllwe however you spell it So imagine what SJM could've have done with that And dorscha was my ship after chaoleana and chaorian It was pure and it bothers me Dorian in HOF went from consent consent to an asshole who likes BdSM with manon

yeah, sj///m needed Dorian to feel man pain so she had to kill off a character who, like, a book later is entirely forgotten and who Dorian doesn’t even miss. and it’s like sj///m realized she’d fucked up with killing Sorscha so she threw Irene at us, but i hate Irene while i adored Sorscha (so much so she now lives rent free in my mind with Nehemia). Sorscha had so much potential, but again, it all comes down to the white man’s tears and character arc 🙄

plus, Sorscha was soft-spoken compared to Irene, and Irene worships alien, so sj///m naturally chose to focus on Irene instead.
