Bath Time Records Albums Of 2020. Part 5. 64. Trivium — What The Dead Men Say // The bands best album since In Waves (maybe ever). Hard and heavy at times but with a modern Thrash melody that begs belief. 63. Myrkur — Folkesange // Warm and cozy Danish folk music that is so simple but so affecting. Shedding the Black Metal elements has worked wonders for Amalie Bruun. 62. The Weeknd — After Hours // The biggest Pop album of the year with the biggest Pop song of the year on it. Inescapable. 61. Jonathan Hulten — Chants From Another Place // Beguiling and beautiful camp fire folk music from a surprising musical source. Gothic Black Metal. Who knew? Beautiful. 60. HMLTD — West Of Eden // Post Punk, Gothic Rock, Indie and alternative music have a love in with the modern kinks of Electronica. Strange but such a good debut album. 59. Nimon — Black Clouds And New Arrivals // My friend Keef Bakers best Ambient album yet. Massive deep lakes of sounds to get lost in. Stunning stuff. 58. Fires In The Distance — Echoes From Deep November // Debut album from US Death Doom band. Damn the riffs and melody on show are great. But it's the use of keys and electronics here that make this special. 57. Emma Ruth Rundle & Thou — May Our Chambers Be Full // Remarkable melancholic tinged Sludge Metal collaboration. 56. The Midnight — Monsters // One of Synthwaves biggest bands continue to make brilliant nostalgic alternative Pop with some excellently crafted tunes. #BathTimeRecord #AlbumsOfTheYear #AlbumsOf2020 #Trivium #WhatTheDeadMenSay #Myrkur #Folkesange #TheWeeknd #AfterHours #JonathanHulten #ChantsFromAnotherPlace #HMLTD #WestOfEden #Nimon #BlackCloudsAndNewArrivals #FiresInTheDistance #EchosFromDeepNovember #EmmaRuthRundle #Thou #MayOurChambersBeFull #TheMidnight #Monster (at Wakefield) https://www.instagram.com/p/CJLaKi3sXfS/?igshid=1gywenlaw0kea
