Medieval/Fantasy event at our club. I can tell you that it’s a bit tricky to shoot a traditional bow in weapon grade leather armour. But it works, and it’s really fun. Our clubs contenders at junior national championships in Norrköping, Sweden. The club manage to bring home three medals. Two gold and one silver. In the classes longbow and traditional. Our recurve archers did well, but need more training. Three happy recurve archery from our club. We went to a fun competition today, a sort of mix of an ordinary 60-arrow indoor competition and match play. We shot absolutely fine, but no medals today. Had lovely day in the forest today. Right after lunch me and some friends took a stroll around our clubs 3D-course. First time ever I did the whole course with my Gillo GT Recurve. We did a competition training round and I ended up with 378 points from senior-elite distance. Most of the time I hade to guess the settings on my sight, so obviously I’m hoping on getting better soon. 378 points means an average of 7,9.
