Food Orders at my Hw vs My Cw
At my Hw I was 111kgs which is about 244 pounds. I had a bmi of 36 and I was obese. I’ve eaten dinner 3 nights in a row at BJ’s Brewhouse.
I’ve had their Tatonka Stout, PM Porter, Nutty Brewnette (bad spelling and all), their Jeremiah Red, and now tonight I finish off with…
Tumblr media
BJ’s 24th Anniversary Grand Cru. A 10% Belgian Strong (so they say). It’s quite spicey and slightly fruity. Not exactly sour, but not far from it. I wouldn’t call it Belgian, but that’s just me.
I never realized that BJ’s has been around for 24 years.
Luckily, The Wife’s birthday is this weekend, and her friend from Chicago is coming in. So I get to go my favorite Belgian Ale place at home…and stay at The Westin a stones throw from my apartment.
Limited Edition glassware:

Sadly there isn’t enough room in my carry-on.

Do you have an absolute favorite food of all time? Dessert? What's your go to resturant when you're going out to eat? Fast food?
I don’t know about favorite food of all time, that’s so hard to pick. I will literally always eat pizza; soup beans and cornbread is my ultimate comfort food because I grew up eating it so often. For dessert, either brownies or white chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. Going out to eat, BJ’s Brewhouse has my favorite chips and salsa ever so I go there a lot. If I’m doing fast food though probably Cane’s!

in keeping with the snack theme, please share your favourite tasty drinks with the class.
I know you did this so I could publicly say Wawa supremacy and I respect it.
Wawa Recharger. The blue raspberry lemonade one. I dream about it often, and it’s cruel I can’t have them more. Like twice a day.
My snobby Starbucks order. Everyone try it. Venti Strawberry Açaí Refresher with no water, no limp mushy strawberries, and add green tea. You’re welcome.
Alani energy drinks in Cosmic Stardust and Breezeberry. Cherry Slushie also accepted.
Berry Burst Cider from BJ’s Brewhouse. 10/10.

Met for dinner after work at BJ's, and we both had to try the Key Lime Gose by Rails End Beer Company. A very fun Sour Gose. 4 Mardi Gras-Inspired Foods You Can Get Catered Right Now
There are all sorts of ways to enjoy the Carnival celebration, and digging into a delicious meal on Fat Tuesday is one of the most popular. Wherever you find yourself on Mardi Gras, it’s an occasion worth celebrating.
Tumblr media
Because it falls on a workday, many of us end up celebrating Mardi Gras, at least in part, while we’re at the office. While we have to save some of the more exciting revelry for after-work hours, it’s easy to order delicious Mardi Gras catering and have it delivered to the office. So, when it comes to celebrating Mardi Gras by sharing a hearty meal with your team members, what are the best catering options? Here’s a list of four types of Mardi Gras-inspired foods you can order and enjoy in the workplace. Scrumptious Gumbo When you want to get into the Mardis Gras spirit, it’s helpful to set the tone with some things that can bring the feel of The Pelican State to your workplace. There’s nothing that says “Louisiana” quite like the bayou, the Superdome, or a bowl of flavorful gumbo. This stew comprised of robust stock, thickener, meat, and vegetables is an ideal Mardi Gras dish. But that doesn’t mean you need to be in NOLA to enjoy it. With the right corporate catering partner, you can have gumbo delivered no matter where your office is located. For example, you can enjoy the finest gumbo catering Wilmington NC has to offer if you order from Jason’s Deli or Walk On’s Bistreaux & Bar. Hearty Jambalaya This American Creole and Cajun rice dish might be the very definition of comfort food itself, and it’s a perfect option when you’re looking to order Mardis Gras catering to enjoy with your office team. With such iconic flavors, there’s no way this dish was going to stay in one place. You can enjoy jambalaya with your team virtually anywhere in the United States, even in places like California, Utah, and Indiana. For example, you’ll find the top jambalaya catering Indianapolis has to offer when you order from The Quarter, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, or Porkopolis BBQ. Red Beans and Rice If you thought this Creole cuisine was just a side dish, think again. Traditionally made on Mondays with leftovers from Sunday dinner and served over rice, this cuisine can include meats like ham and sausage with pork bones, kidney beans, and vegetables. Don’t miss a chance to enjoy red beans and rice with your Mardis Gras office catering order this year. Shrimp Étouffée This timeless shellfish stew hails from New Orleans and is thickened with a roux. The combination of shrimp and the Creole ‘Holy Trinity’ of onion, celery, and bell pepper is positively delectable. If you haven’t tried it, add some to your office’s Mardi Gras catering order and take a taste test with your team. No matter where your office is located in the US, it’s easy to enjoy the flavors of Mardis Gras when you partner with a leading corporate catering company. For instance, if you find yourself in Music City USA for Mardis Gras, treat your office team to delicious meals from Southern Kickin, Bishop’s Meat & Three, or a variety of other southern-style restaurants with the best catering Nashville has to offer. Veterans Day Specials:Exclusive Discounts and Freebies at Florida & Milwaukee Restaurants
Tumblr media
Veterans Day, a federal holiday always observed on November 11th, is fast approaching. On this day, businesses, theme parks, and restaurants nationwide are expressing their gratitude to military veterans by offering discounts or free items in recognition of their service. November 11th, 1918, marked the end of "the war to end all wars" as acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This day holds special significance, serving as an opportunity to honor America's veterans for their unwavering patriotism, love of country, and their willingness to serve and sacrifice for the greater good. Many businesses participate in this gesture of appreciation by extending special discounts or freebies to veterans. We will continuously update the list of participating businesses as more announcements are made. For those wondering about Veterans Day observances: - When is Veterans Day 2023? Veterans Day will be celebrated on Saturday, November 11th. - Is Veterans Day a federal holiday? Yes, Veterans Day is indeed a federal holiday. When it falls on a Saturday, federal employees observe the holiday on the preceding Friday.
