While I don't talk much about Emil on Tumblr, he's VERY much active on Discord. But considering the meme....

How about Emil during CFYOW? Or Post-TYBW? Because this is my favorite era for this kid. He's trying to learn how to act in modern day, how to function without being in a militaristic empire? Because it's harder than you think.

He can function but he's also trying to balance making sure Noah doesn't deteriorate or kill herself, he's trying to make sure what living quincies who DID survive don't kill anyone and make things harder for them already, Emil's also balancing a job at Urahara Shōten (just a part time for now)- he's got a lot on his plate and it's taking every inch of willpower for him NOT to snap.

Emil's trying his damnedest to make sure no one crumbles and he knows a lot of people can handle themselves, it's what they do in the aftermath of war (6 months later or otherwise) that makes him wary of everyone and tired...but he's trying. There are times he finds himself asking what quilge would do to keep peace among the people or asking himself what maggie would do [lord he does miss them both but he's better off outside the wandenreich].

And with Noah trying to hold all of the surviving quincies together so no splinter groups form, Margaret beginning peace talks with the Shinigami, and more- He is being run RAGGED by both of them to the point being at Urahara Shōten is his breathing room. It's not until Tokinada starts up his bullshit that he steps up to properly help and guide those who need it, ultimately taking the position Jugram originally had but this time under Noah.

He's trying so hard not to murder someone, but out of everyone he's at least trying to keep a level head for those around him so no one just... ends up dead or off far worse.

After taking the leave her captain had implemented, the Fifth Seat was finally given another assignment. She was to go investigate and ultimately halt the disappearance of hollows and Arrancar. Was he back? Was he doing this to lure other shinigami to be captured? She swallowed hard and walked through the Senkaimon, hoping and wishing that the gnawing fear of him being back wasn’t right.

Out of everything, where Jugram's concerned it's his loyalty, granted it's that same trait that made her begin to pull away from him come cour 2 (She didn't want anyone to die, but he was so tethered and blindly loyal to yhwach they both knew it'd end with both of them not seeing eye to eye or one of them being dead.)- she's never once treated it like it's a bad thing, she knew where his loyalties lied but it was always something she liked about him as a person.

As for Bazz, Noah here thinks (and i quote) that he thinks entirely too high of himself. But she has always enjoyed how EASY he is to talk to and be around when he's not running his mouth like the hot head he is or causing headaches for the wandenreich. She's always found it easier to just be around him more than anything even if at times they can argue, it's always been like that even when they were kids. For her, he ends up becoming her source of freedom while in the wandenreich, just being around him when she can- sure they're like polar opposites but she can stop being on guard around him and BREATHE.
