An Ancient City of Varanasi

Today the beautiful ancient temple holds around 800 kg of gold as the cap in the spire therefore it is also known as the Golden Temple in Varanasi.

Varanasi is the city of many revered temples and ghats that welcomes spiritual seekers to this plain where as the major attraction is the Kashi Vishwanath temple. Similarly, Kathmandu is known as city of gods where the presence of Pashupatinath temple glorifies the mythological beliefs of Hindus, Janis and Buddhists. It is a general belief among people that visiting these two great shrines in Varanasi and Kathmandu liberates the soul to Moksha.
