These Slices of Birthday Cake A delicious treat, marshmallows are ideal for commemorating birthdays or other special occasions. They have the appearance and flavor of birthday cake slices because they are fluffy, sweet, and loaded with colorful sprinkles.

Ingredients: 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin. 1/2 cup cold water. 2 cups granulated sugar. 1/2 cup light corn syrup. 1/2 cup water. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles. Powdered sugar, for dusting.

Instructions: Mix the gelatin with 1/2 cup of cold water in a mixing bowl. To soften, let it sit for roughly ten minutes. Put the corn syrup, granulated sugar, 1/2 cup water, and salt in a saucepan. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Once dissolved, put an end to stirring and let the mixture boil until a candy thermometer registers 240F 115C. With an electric mixer on low speed, slowly pour the heated sugar syrup into the gelatin mixture. Once the mixture is thick and fluffy, increase the mixer speed to high and beat for 10 to 12 minutes. Once the vanilla extract is well combined, beat for an additional minute. Once the rainbow sprinkles are evenly distributed, fold them in. Transfer the marshmallow mixture into a parchment paper-lined, 9 x 13-inch baking pan that has been greased. Using a spatula, smooth the top and then add more rainbow sprinkles. Allow the marshmallows to cure for at least four hours, or over night, at room temperature. After applying some powdered sugar dust to a clean surface, take out the marshmallow slab from the pan. Using a knife or cookie cutters, cut it into slices or squares. To keep it from sticking, dust each piece with powdered sugar. It's time to enjoy your Birthday Cake Slice Marshmallows!
