have you ever heard of last kiss by pearl jam ? well, it describes DOMINICK WOLFE to a tee ! the forty-four year old owner + bartender at wolfe’s den was spotted browsing through the stalls at portobello road market last sunday, do you know him ? would you say he is more reticent or more dutiful instead ? anyway, he reminds me of of framed report cards hanging up alongside business and liquor licenses , banana pancakes and retro cartoons on the couch on a sunday morning , faded prison tattoos curling out from under long sleeves and stiff collars , a trans flag strung up in the window of a hole-in-the-wall dive bar , and scorching your tongue on your first sip of coffee. maybe you’ll bump into him soon !
Tumblr media
STATS.
name: dominick wolfe nickname(s): dom gender & pronouns: cis male / he + him orientation: tbd    age: forty-four date of birth: 27 april, 1978 zodiac: ☼ taurus ☽ capricorn ↑ taurus occupation: bartender + owner of wolfe’s den positive traits: responsible + protective + adaptable + compassionate negative traits: taciturn + gruff + stubborn + emotionally unavailable
HISTORY.
TW: drugs + alcohol + crime + car accident + injury + death
dom grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, if you will ; growing up low income and with absent parents meant dom got involved in the distribution and sale of illicit drugs from the time he was a young teen and had developed a bit of a name ( and a record ) for himself by the time he hit his twenties ; used the money he made to pay for a flat for himself and his grandmother, the woman who raised him ; she knew what he did and turned a blind eye, only urged that he make sure he stayed safe
fell into darker times after he lost his grandmother ; started drinking more and sleeping less, getting reckless with his job, the protocols in place to keep him from getting caught ; it wasn’t until he met charlotte that dom thought he’d ever see the light again, but she charmed him with a melodic laugh and a smile like sunshine, soothed his sorrows like a salve made just for his soul and dom ? well, dominick wolfe fell in love
dom and charlotte hadn’t been together more than a few months when he got arrested ; nearly a year of careless, thoughtless decisions had finally caught up to him, and even with the help of the best lawyer he could afford, he was twenty-three years old and facing seven years in prison for supplying an illicit drug ( he was lucky all they’d found was the cannabis when they searched his property, else he’d likely still be locked up for a number of charges that fell through )
to dom’s constant discouragement and disbelief, charlotte remained faithful to him for all seven years of his sentence ; she wrote him letters, visited when she could, and he spent every day of that near decade falling just a little more in love with her ; when he was released in the spring of 2009, they moved in together, and less than a year later, they were married and expecting a child
while dom was incarcerated, charlotte was scrimping and saving and managed to land a property with an old, run-down bar on the first floor and a connected flat upstairs in slightly better shape ; over the course of charlotte’s pregnancy, dom renovated them both, and though they both joked that they were insane for it, in the same year they welcomed a baby, the wolfe’s den was officially opened for business
the bar was a humble success ; there was nothing flashy about the place, but the spot was decent and the drinks were cheap, and they managed to lure in enough regulars to keep their little family afloat so long as they lived modestly ; dom ran the front of house, the bar, and charlotte kept their accounts balanced and bills paid, and eventually the wolfe’s den became a cozy little spot in the community for any wayward wanderer looking for a drink ; and yeah, okay, maybe dom was convinced this was it for him ― happily ever after, one he’d found himself, not that he deserved it
and because he didn’t deserve it, of course it couldn’t last ; dom remembers the night it ended as clearly as if it had been yesterday ― 2013, the last weekend in april, and charlotte had insisted they find a babysitter and do something special to celebrate his thirty-fifth birthday, something more than just a simple night in ; the weather was awful, miserable rain, but charlotte wolfe made her own sunshine and had never before been deterred by the weather, and so off they went to dinner and a movie
they never made it to dinner ; and no matter how many times he’s been asked, dom doesn’t remember how it happened ― he doesn’t know if the other driver hadn’t seen them and risked running the intersection or if they’d simply lost control of their vehicle, it all happened so fast ; when dom woke two days later in a hospital bed, it was to charlotte’s mother holding his baby, tears in her eyes ― charlotte didn’t make it
picking up the pieces was harder than anything dom had ever done before ; the bar stayed closed for weeks while he grieved the love of his life, tried to learn how to be a single parent, how to do it on his own ; he had to hire more help, more people to staff the place so he could be home with his kid ; eventually he fell into a routine, learned how to keep himself and his little one moving forward ; it’s been almost ten years since the the accident and even though some days are harder than others, they always manage
a little over a year ago, dom’s child came out to him as transgender in an unexpectedly heartfelt conversation over reality tv and takeaway one night ; though he’d been a bit surprised at first, he couldn’t say it had been by much, and he was proud to find out he not only had a son, but that his son wanted to be called by a name that reminded him of his mother: charlie ; if dom wept like a baby that night, he and charlie don’t talk about it, but he knows that his dad stands by him no matter what
dom and charlie still live in the flat above wolfe’s den, and he’s doing his best to balance being a business owner, bartender, and single dad ; most days he feels like he’s barely keeping his head above water, keeping it together, but it’s worth it to make sure he’s doing everything he can for charlie ; he’s had a few relationships in the more recent years since losing charlotte, including one with thea mackenzie, a spitfire of an american who found her way into his bar and caught his eye, but whether because of his baggage, his kid, or his inability to open up about any of it, dom’s been unable to find anyone serious to try again with
MISCELLANEA.
thanks to a pair of flags dom hung in the front windows of wolfe’s den shortly after charlie came out, one displaying the traditional rainbow and the other a trio of colors for transgender pride, his tiny hole-in-the-wall dive bar is slowly becoming an unintentional and niche spot for notting hill’s queer community to grab a drink ; be warned, though, if you linger at the bar for too long, you might end up getting a dad talk ― unless that’s what you’re looking for, in which case, he does give pretty decent advice
charlie can almost always be found at the bar when his dad’s there unless it’s late ; if he’s not doing his homework at one of the stools where dom can keep an eye on him, he’s polishing glasses or tossing darts or building houses of cards out of coasters ; and, look, dom knows he shouldn’t be raising a kid around a bar, but it’s a hell of a lot better than he had growing up, and besides, charlie never seems to mind ; in fact, dom’s keen to think he enjoys it, leans into the way it makes him feel a little like a rebel
dom has a good heart ; he’s been known to go upstairs into his own kitchen and cook a meal for strangers who are hungry or having a hard time in the bar down below ; he learned how to knit while he was in prison and found that it was a really helpful tool for anger management and stress relief, and you’ll occasionally find him knitting squares somewhere around the bar for blankets he donates to the women & children’s refuge every winter ; if you’re in need of somewhere safe to go, something to eat, someone to talk to... any of it, dom’s your man ― he doesn’t talk about himself much but he’s a damn good listener
WANTED CONNECTIONS.
regulars at the bar. anyone who comes in often enough to be friends with dom and the crew. it’s a small place and dom makes a point to look after his return patrons, which means heavy pours, discounted drinks, and if you’re really lucky, the master code for the jukebox to get unlimited plays.
parent friends. look, dom has been raising charlie on his own for almost a decade now, and he’s doing his damn best to make sure he does a decent job of it, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t use some advice from time to time, or, at very least, somebody to commiserate with over the struggles of raising a kid ― more than that, a teenager
employees. the folks who work at the bar are almost like a family to dom, and there’s not a whole hell of a lot he wouldn’t do for them. he trusts them with his business when he’s got to look after his kid, and likewise, he’d bend over backwards to help any one of them out in whatever way he could if they were in a tight spot or struggling.
prison pals. i don’t know if this one’s a long shot or not, but it would be interesting to see somebody dom met when he was locked up. were they friends ? enemies ?  i just think it could be a fun reunion to explore, and the presence of somebody from that part of his life making a reappearance now would certainly stir up some feelings
a friend of charlotte’s. maybe somebody who didn’t know dom personally at first, but knew him through his late wife and made a point to check in on him and charlie periodically after her passing, whether out of personal concern or care for their friend who couldn’t be there for her family anymore. anyway, this one promises a lot of angst. this is probably the person he calls late at night when he can’t stop thinking about her. they’re a lifeline of sorts.
exes. just because dom hasn’t been in a successful relationship since his marriage doesn’t mean he hasn’t tried to move on and meet somebody else. there are a million different reasons why it might not work out when you’re venturing into a relationship with him, of all people, but his intentions are always good. he just... well, he doesn’t really know what he’s doing anymore, okay ?
something more. this one scares him, because he doesn’t know how to handle the idea that he might be starting to feel something for someone again ; he’s guarded with his heart, even moreso now that he’s got charlie’s to protect, too, but something about this person makes dom want to let down his walls just a little bit, maybe let somebody in. they make him feel safe. maybe it’s still too soon to think about having feelings for somebody else, but it’s been ten years, and charlie deserves more than just him, doesn’t he ? and maybe... maybe he deserves more too

Brain Damage | Freida McFadden | Published 2016 | *SPOILERS*
Tumblr media
After years of hard work, Dr. Charly McKenna finally has it all. Prosperous career as a dermatologist? Check. Spacious apartment overlooking Central Park? Check. Handsome lawyer husband? Double check.
Then one night, a bullet rips through the right side of her skill and she loses everything.
As Charly struggles to recover from her brain injury, she begins to realize that the events of that fateful night are trapped in the damaged right side of her brain. Now she must put the jigsaw pieces together to discover the identity of the man who tried to kill her...before he finished the job he started.
Charly McKenna has a seemingly perfect life. She is a successful dermatologist, helping people figure out their weird skin rashes, funguses and other things that peril people. She has an amazing two-bedroom condo overlooking Central Park, and after a few short months of dating, she is married to her gorgeous lawyer husband, Clark.
But, everything changed when one night Charly returned home and an unknown assailant shoots her in the head, leaving her for dead. In the beginning, things aren’t looking well for Charly. She is in a near comatose state, and when she comes out of that, she has difficulty navigating things on her left side, which her rehabilitators say is called left neglect.
Confined to a wheelchair in a hospital, Charly goes through various therapies to help her navigate her new life. Her left arm doesn’t work, and her perception of her life side is nonexistent. She strikes up friendships with Jamie, a young man with a 6 year old son, who took a tumble down the stairs that left him with a traumatic brain injury as well as Angela, who after taking birth control found a blood clot in her leg that traveled to her brain.
Her therapists struggle with Charly as she has her good and bad days. Charly’s mother visits every day, but her husband doesn’t visit at all. Charly finds this odd, but he tells her it’s because of work at his lawyer practice.
When a police officer visits, he tells Charly that they found the man that had shot her: he was the husband of a former patient, and after helping her with psoriosis, she ended up leaving her husband which greatly upset him. He confessed everything, and Charly, despite her shortcomings, successfully identifies him based off of pictures the detective shows her.
And suddenly, Clark begins to visit more and more. But, slowly, Charly’s memory continues to come back to her. She remembers that prior to her accident, about two months before, she found out Clark had been cheating on her with a woman named Haley, who she considers to be much more attractive than her, before and after the shooting. After Regina, the wife of the man who shot her calls and tells her that Clark and her husband had been friends and neighbors, Charly realizes that Clark was involved.
Jamie, her friend in the rehab center, finds Clark in her room early in the morning, and helps save Charly from disaster. Clark is arrested and confesses to being involved in the attempted murder plot. Jamie is being sent home from the rehab, and confesses that he’s in love with her but Charly can’t seem to come to terms with this fact.
A year later, Charly is going to lunch with her best friend Bridget and her daughter, where she finds out that Bridget is pregnant with her second child. At the diner, they run into Jamie and his son Sam. Even after a year, Charly is still self-conscious despite making super strides in her recovery. Jamie is still pining over her and the two of them share a kiss, leading the readers to believe that the two of them will end up together, as Charly explains that this is the man that she’s been waiting for.
To me, this story was incredibly different than her others. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Watching Charly struggle with her recovery, not believing in herself and refusing to believe she was going to get better, was heartbreaking. Watching her recovers lowly but surely was an amazing thing; though usually I am surprised by the twists, this book didn’t offer much in the way of many of those. I saw the culprit coming from a mile away, as many people had pointed it out to Charly throughout the novel.
Definitely a 5/5 read!

𝐁𝐈𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐘
- soleil always had a knack for getting what she wanted– this dates back to before she was even earth side, making her poor mother crave all the sweets in the world knowing damn well she’d have the poor woman head first in the toilet bowl. she was finally welcomed earth side on los angeles county’s hottest summer day recorded to date, but her parents and older brother were truly in love with all the warmth she brought already. soleil was a very particular child, her rice couldn’t touch her bulgogi, and her bulgogi couldn’t touch her kimchi. naturally she excelled in most things she was presented with, language, arts, science, math, you name it she was probably annoyingly good at it.
- despite their natural ability to excel, her parents were hard on both her and her brother which brought on lots of tension in their parents marriage. soleil can recall on many occasions her brother whisking her away when their parents would start with one of their fights. her brother is probably one of the only people she’ll go to war for, she really wants all the smoke behind him. through the span of her life she witnessed the rise and fall, and ultimately the demise of her parents' marriage– and man oh man was it an ugly divorce all of which soleil was convinced was derivative of the fact that they cut her brother off because he was set on pursuing a different career path. soleil was impartial to it all because she truly believed her parents should’ve never been married to begin with– two career-driven people + children≠ happily ever after. seeing the demise of that relationship still weighs heavy on her conscious *cue trust issues by drake*
- soleil’s father was given primary custody over her, and he moved her from los angeles to san diego– this was when something was unlocked inside of her. soleil knew she was the only one who could carry out and eventually take on the family business, with that very simple piece of information she had her father exactly where she wanted him, and she still does now. there wasn’t a fight when she insisted on applying to school across the country, because why would she want to be anywhere near her father? before leaving for school her mother reached out and they reconnected after not communicating for almost 3 years– (tw: car accident, her mother tragically succumbed to her injuries from a really bad car accident three months after they reconnected).
- when it comes to miss ma’ams personality, she is literally the summer walker song white tee, (anybody: treat me like white tees, don't get me dirty || soleil: mess up your white tee, i’ll do you dirty ya) so there's that. she knows what she wants and she knows how to get it. she is generally nice when you really get to know her, but she knows how to keep it professional in the work setting. outside of work and a different storrrry though c:
𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
- friends for sure, because honestly if u can get along with her she needs u in her corner
- enemies!!!! hehehehee this is self explanatory, give her someone to spat with on twitter after hours
- she has a tragic ass ex, but u can hmu to plot this one out bc soleil did them dirty lmao
- her “rose-colored boy”, this plot is solely based on the paramore song- someone whomst she cares for dearly who has a v sunny demeanor (possible romantic connection)
- im the brainstorm queen so licherully whatevs luvs

Shouji Mezo X Reader part 1, remember
The hospital room was lonely and cold as the doctors, police, and heroes  argued. It was no surprise luck would run out and get caught. Punishment would be unclear though, Y/n wasn’t an ordinary citizen. Though she may not get jail time she may get the wrath of her family which would be way worse. No words were spoken to Y/n when the nurses and doctors review her injuries. Ignored, that was what she felt. Yeah, she suffering from injuries, but her emotions were running. Her injuries were the only thing preventing her from showing her anxiety.
After a night in isolation, finally someone came in. It wasn’t anyone she was hoping for, but she didn’t really know who to hope for in this situation. She was in trouble. It was the man dressed in black that had the long dark hair that took her down. She didn’t know what his quirk was, but he didn’t know what hers was either.
“Doctors told me I busted your shoulder.” He said.
 Y/n blinked. She didn’t hate the hero, yeah he captured her, but she sacrificed herself to the situation. From how far she ran, from all the blood she lost, she gave herself up so someone special could escape. She knew that last fight she wasn’t going to win, but it still sucked. She was already injured from the previous activity, but this man was the final blow to taking her down.
“I wouldn’t have used that much force if I’d known who you were.” He continued.
She scrunched her nose at the comment. All her life she was looked down upon, underestimated. It wasn’t her title, her birth, her quirk, it was a mixture of everything. This hero was afraid of her capabilities when they fought, he punched her like he meant it. She knew he was scared of her, and what potential she had against him.
 “You’re not getting jail time, if it’s what you’re wondering. You are a minor, and the daughter to some important people.” He said. “Which doesn’t add up why you were a part of that crime ring.”
A majority of the reason why Y/n wasn’t talking, was her throat had felt swollen from the sedation, or the fighting. A lot had happened. She wasn’t going to snitch.
“Jail time would have been heaven.” She choked
Those bars would protect her from the disappointment of her family.
“The justice system is still figuring out what to do with you. It’s annoying how high up your family it.”  He said leaving.
 (First name) (last name) is the youngest child of a doctor of quirk experiments, and a government official. It’s not sure that the couple does hold love for one another, but they had common goals of making powerful hero quirk children. Their oldest child didn’t manifest a powerful quirk, but had a brain to follow their parents footsteps. There were two more older siblings. Y/n, what was thought to be the dream prosperous child with a quirk like hers, but...things didn’t go as planned. It was long before crime interested her that things went wrong.
 Aizawa sighed. Today was a low point. Not only did he capture one of the criminals, that could have been dangerous for police to get involved, but she was the daughter of important people. Instead of seeing her daughter. Her mother went to yell at the man who took her down.
“What kind of hero fucks up my daughter’s shoulder! That is excessive! How dangerous could she have been!” The older women yelled while being held back by police officers. “You should be arrested you-“
“Ma’am, your daughter was part of a-“
“Did any of you see her? She’s helpless! She can’t fight, all teenagers do stupid shit and you want me to believe this muscle man couldn’t have been any more gentle to my daughter!”
 Her words were deep in his brain. Aizawa didn’t feel guilty for what he did, a majority of the girl’s injuries happened before the heroes got involved. When he faced her, she wasn’t this weakling her mother thought she was, without what he assumed her not using a quirk she held her ground and was able to block him from the target. He couldn’t tell if this was an act for the mother to lessen the sentence because she would be embarrassed if word got out her daughter was a trouble maker, or if she really didn’t know her daughter. After requesting public records, he learned that this whole issue was bigger than what he thought.
 (First name last name) had a decent file. She was a suspected victim of an assault when she was younger, but child services involvement concluded it wasn’t from the family. Her quirk was unclear and requested not to be use because the side effect “injury her” but lacked a labeled how it would  hurt her. No combat abilities were written in there a year before the fight. The police had a record on her not as a future criminal, but a person of interest. Connected to something that was not concluded. She is currently a high school student and up until a couple months ago she was in a private school till switching to online due to illness. Her illness wasn’t even labeled. It was either a forged file or a poorly written one. She held her own for being badly injured against a pro-hero. Aizawa was playing it safe with the girl, not knowing what she would rip out. He could cancel her quirk, but at least wanted to know what it was before he suffered from dry eye. Her prior injuries were what made her lose focus. He punched an open wound and she began to shake her stance of being his opponent. He shoved her against the wall and her shoulder popped.
The lawyers met with Aizawa to discuss the girl’s fate. They were pissed that she was probably going to be paid out for the crime and go back to living her life. Aizawa reminded them she was still a child. He didn’t hate the girl, thought she was misguided, but she probably needed someone to whip her into shape.
They sat across from the angry mother and her lawyers. The father wasn’t present, but it probably wouldn’t look good if he was there, bad publicity if he was visiting a hospital which would lead out to his daughter being a troublemaker, how can he help run a country if he can’t even control his sick helpless daughter. The mediator sat at the end of the table between the two groups.
“Looking at the case, we cannot send the young Y/n to jail because she is a minor.” The mediator began.
 Her mother smirked feeling confident.
“None of these offenses will be going on her record because of her youth, but we will not be sending Y/n back to her family either”.
The eyes shot open between both groups.
“Why the hell not? She is my daughter.” The mother asked.
“Looking at you and your husbands work hours, you both are not home with her anyway. The lack of parental guidance has probably led Y/n astray on the dark path she chose. Looking deeper into her file she would need to be around people to look over her illness and injuries. You guys have never even been able to lock down what her quirk is.”
“That’s because it hurts her, I wouldn’t make her use her quirk if it hurts her!”
“What is her quirk like?” Aizawa asked.
“None of your business justice freak!”
“Settle down.” The mediator demanded. “Her adult older siblings also wouldn’t be able to care for her. Which is why we came up with an idea.”
The mediator’s assistant stood up to announce the compromised punishment.
“Guilty for her crimes, (full name) will be in Eraserhead’s custody. Though he did commit excessive force on Y/n his quirk would be able to save Y/n from any self harm that could come with her quirk, and be able to provide guidance back on to a better path. He has the credentials being a teacher and a hero to help inspire (first name last name).”
It was not what he wanted, but the face of the mother was priceless because she was the most pissed off.
“I don’t know if I will be able to take on (full name).” Aizawa said being honest. He has a whole class to worry about.
“We looked at your day job, and it is true, having (full name) being considered a transfer student would not look good, but as a teaching aid she may be able to help.”
“When the hell is my daughter suppose to get her school time in then?”
“Looking at her online progress she is ahead of schedule and does have fairly good grades. Teaching may not be her choice, but consider it an apprenticeship. It’ll give her technical skill for a future job and can get credited I bet.” The mediator said.
There was more back and forth from both sides hating the compromise, but there wasn’t another coming. The minor wouldn’t be able to have a normal sentence, she doesn’t have normal parents. Aizawa didn't need a teaching aid and didn’t want that girl near his students. But he couldn’t help to agree getting her away from them might do her some good. The set up seemed to turn out even better having at UA because she was surrounded by heroes who would be able to capture her if she escaped, she would be under surveillance, and recovery girl would be nearby if she got worse with her illness. Some changes were made, her last name wouldn’t be known, she would be extra help for all the classrooms, and she wouldn’t be allowed to leave campus without one teacher.
The school board was worried about bringing a person like (full name) to their campus, but it was a perfect punishment for overkill against a minor. Though her unknown quirk was deactivated she still was able to fight. However near a lot of heroes all day she wouldn’t be able to hold her own. Principal Nezu ended up allowing it after doing his own research on the family.
 Aizawa told class 1-A that he was accepting a teaching aid, they thought it was cool, but didn’t really think Aizawa needed someone.After the USJ attack, he was able to manage a class by himself after all his injuries. There weren’t many questions since the capture wasn’t allowed to air on the news. No suspicion at all.
 Y/n looked at her empty dorm. It had been awhile since she felt this normal nervousness. Making her prison bearable, she decorated it in fairy lights, fake flowers, and other trivial things. Passing herself in the mirror she looked at herself. Did she look weird? Would they know how sickly she was? A bunch of hero freaks are gonna wanna save her from her quirk. Condescending worried looks once they hear her have a coughing fit. It would be so long since she would be around people her own age. She’s always been the baby of the group when she was committing crimes.
“You don’t have to come in if you’re still unwell.” Aizawa told her.
“I can handle cleaning and sorting papers.” She told him. “You guys only do mornings and then hero training in the after noon.”
“I didn’t think you would decorate your room like this.”
“What, you thought I’d be boring and treat this like a cell? If this is my new home, I might as well be comfortable and fetch looking.”
“Are you going to follow the file? Not tell my students who you are, influence them in any way that can hinder their growth?”
“Yeah, I don’t really think I’ll be talking to them much.” She said. “It’s not like I’m probably smarter than them at their subjects.”
 In all honesty Y/n was expecting to get caught at some point. Maybe it was to destroy all expectations of her, but it didn’t seem that way. Her mother called her weak and helpless and that she couldn’t have done what she did. There was no way poor little Y/n could ever rebel or be bad.
Y/n didn’t sleep. She was scared to meet so many people at once, not people, peers. She was so used to how the adults treated her, that mistakes were made on her and she would never be the same. So much potential ruined, but still a perfect girl.

Upside Down (2/2)
(tw abuse, kidnapping)
“I’ll - I’m the oldest, I’ll adopt him,” Jinki says fiercely, all of them standing around their kitchen table.
“Fat chance,” Kibum snaps. “How?”
“I have plenty of money, they can’t say I can’t provide for him!” Jinki argues.
“You live in a dorm,” Kibum shouts. “You have no house! They’ll deny you in a second!”
“Then I’ll buy a fucking house, Kibum!”
They all start arguing, because they’ve just learned their youngest member has been sent to a group home, that he’s been hurt, and they can’t not do something about it. They haven’t been allowed to see him in almost a year, haven’t been able to contact him, and now they learn it’s because of something like this? They’re all furious. Angry. Upset. They don’t know what to do.
“Boys,” a voice calls from the front door, and they’re all quick to stop yelling, to turn and to bow and say hello to the head of their company. “I don’t want you boys to worry. Everything is going to be fine. Trust me.”
And then he leaves, but as he’s in the hall, he hears them start arguing again. There’s nothing he can do about that. They’re upset, it’s bound to happen. He tells the manager to not let them do anything stupid, and he goes back to his office to call his lawyers, to see what progress they’ve made.
Meanwhile, Taemin has decided he’s done taking anyone’s shit. He pushes people back. He shoves them, punches them, backs them against a wall and threatens them.
School is still bad. He still gets pushed around, more afraid to retaliate in public. No one has really mentioned being an idol to him, he’s never seen any paparazzi, but he’s still paranoid.
It’s three weeks before he fights back at school. He’s shoved down on the ground during lunch, but instead of taking it, he pushes himself up and starts shoving back. He’s angry and he’s afraid and he doesn’t care anymore. He shoves the other boy on the ground and sits on top of him, punching him, over and over and over again. He’s in a fog the whole time, feels like he’s left his body, like he’s watching himself from above as he beats the other boy to a bloody pulp. Punches him until his knuckles bruise and crack, until the other boy’s face is bloody and beaten, until he’s pulled off by a teacher and dragged to the Principal’s office.
He’s suspended for a week. Told he’s lucky he’s not being expelled.
The adults in charge at the group home are pissed at him. The other boys are staring at him with stupid smirks in their faces, mouthing threats to him, and for a moment, Taemin really fears for his life.
He didn’t escape that fight unscathed. His lip is busted and his eye is nearly swollen shut, his arms have scratches all up and down them, and they burn and sting and everything hurts when he tries to take a shower that night.
Before he’s sent to bed, he steals a knife from the kitchen, afraid of the threats the other boys had made. He needs to protect himself. Sooman told him to fight back.
He keeps the paring knife hidden under his pillow, and his body shakes under the blankets as he keeps himself awake. He refuses to sleep. Refuses to let them sneak up on him.
When they do try to do something to him in the middle of the night, he reaches his left hand under the pillow and bites back a scream, pulling it out by the blade and turning over to hold it out in front of them, grabbing it the proper way with his right hand.
“Stay the fuck away from me!” he screams in a strangled voice, hiding his bleeding hand under the blankets. “Or I’ll fucking kill you!”
One of the other boys leaves to go get someone in charge, and Taemin is dragged from bed, the knife taken from him, his bed stripped and searched, his belongings thrown about to rifle through no matter how much he argues that he doesn’t have anything else. He keeps his bleeding hand in his hoodie pocket, fingers rubbing desperately over the edges of the business card he refuses to part with.
Then they say they need to search him, and Taemin bolts. He runs and runs and runs, as fast as he can, as far as he can. Until he can’t breathe and his legs ache and shake like jelly, until he can hide behind some bushes and catch his breath.
He barely knows where he is. Barely knows what he’s doing. But he knows damn sure where he’s going.
Only one person in the world seems to care about him, so he’s going to him.
He hides behind the bush a few minutes longer, catching his breath, playing the half-assed plan over in his head, until he’s nodding to himself and huffing and pulling his hood over his head, pushing himself up and stomping down the sidewalk. It’s the middle of the damn night, it’s dark and creepy and the few people on the street look at him funny, but Taemin keeps going.
He finds a payphone eventually, scrounges up enough change to make one call, and it feels like he’s in prison.
Sooman doesn’t answer. Of course he doesn’t, it’s midnight, and he called his office like a fucking moron. So he leaves a desperate message, saying he can’t do this anymore, that he’s sure he’s going to die if nothing changes soon.
Then he hangs up, and he keeps walking. All night. His hand has since stopped bleeding, the slit running from the space between his thumb and his forefinger all the way down his wrist. It stings and burns like hell, but it’s caked in enough blood, been pressed against the inside of his hoodie pocket long enough that it no longer bleeds unless he moves his hand the wrong way.
He walks all night. His hood is pulled above his head, he can feel where the blood soaked through to his shirt, can feel the way the fabric became stiff as it dried. His lip is still swollen and his left eye just barely opens, but once he gets far enough, he pretty much knows exactly where to go without even looking. His feet are on autopilot, and he’s so tired, so exhausted, but he can’t stop, he can’t sleep, not until he’s safe. He’d watched the sun rise, and for a moment, he thought it was beautiful. Then he kept going, finally reaching his destination just before midday.
There are the usual amount of crazy fans and paparazzi outside the building, so Taemin keeps his hood pulled tight over his head, and by some miracle, he slips past them and gets into the company building in broad daylight.
He’s almost made it to the elevator when a security guard comes over and stops him.
“I need to see Sooman,” he says, his voice crackling, his throat raw.
“And just who are you?”
“I need to see Sooman,” he repeats. “He - he should be expecting me.”
“Listen kid-”
Taemin pulls out the business card, not caring if there’s dried blood staining it, and he repeats a third time, “I need to see Sooman.”
The man stammers for a moment, but he clearly sees the handwritten note on the back that reads, Call me if you need anything. Anything at all.
The guard lets him go, and Taemin is quick to enter the elevator and press the button for the top floor over and over and over again until the doors close with a ding.
People stare at him as he walks through the top floor, straight to Sooman’s office. And really, Taemin almost cries when he realizes no one recognizes him. Less than a year ago he was in SHINee, he was adored and loved and everyone here knew him just by looking at the back of his head, and now he’s unrecognizable. It hurts.
He’s shaking and letting out shuddering breaths by the time he steps inside the office. He doesn’t care that there are other people in there, doesn’t care that the door is still open, doesn’t care about anything.
“I can’t go back,” he whispers. “You can’t make me go back.”
“Taemin,” Sooman starts, and that seems to make everyone on the entire floor turn to look, to gasp, to watch him. “What happened?”
“I fought back,” he says, his voice shaking. “I fought back. Just like you told me. And then I got suspended.”
“Taemin-”
“Then I tried to protect myself. Like you told me.” His voice raises with each word. “So I got a knife from the kitchen and kept it under my pillow and last night I said if they came near me I’d kill them.”
“You’re bleeding,” Sooman says, and Taemin tightens his left hand and feels the blood start to ooze out again.
“They threw my stuff everywhere,” Taemin says. “They stripped my bed and searched everything and then they were going to search me.”
Someone tries to interrupt, but Taemin isn’t done.
“Do they think I’m gonna hide a fucking knife up my ass?” he asks, his voice shaking. Then he shouts at him, “Just because I don’t have any parents anymore doesn’t mean I’m not still a person!”
Taemin is crying and shaking and heaving, but he lets Sooman step closer to him and pull his hood down. Lets him brush his hair out of his face so he can see the damage that’s been done, so he can finally see Taemin.
“You promised everything would be okay!” Taemin accuses. “You promised soon! When’s soon? Because I can’t wait anymore, I can’t!”
Taemin is still crying, gripping at Sooman’s suit jacket as Sooman leads him further into the office.
“Soon is right now,” Sooman whispers to him, his voice fierce. “You have impeccable timing, Taemin.”
“What?”
The two men in Sooman’s office are lawyers. Adoption lawyers, specifically. And they’ve been working night and day for over two months on this case, tirelessly, endlessly. To get everything done as soon as humanly possible.
And everything is in place for Sooman to adopt Taemin. To officially change his name back to Lee Taemin. They’ve even tracked down Taemin’s brother, who was legally an adult and out living on his own because his birth parents had been shit people as well. Everything was in line to adopt him too.
A shaking, emotional Taemin is taken to a hospital. Every injury is documented, used as further evidence as to why Sooman should be allowed to adopt him, and the cut on his hand is cleaned and stitched together and wrapped up, an appointment made for the next week to check up on it, to possibly remove the stitches if it’s ready.
And seemingly overnight, Taemin is the son of Lee Sooman. He’s Taemin again. He’s traumatized and confused about everything that’s happened to him, but finally he feels like he’s home.
But he’s back at the arts school he’d gone too before all this happened, he’s in the grade he was supposed to be in. He lost a year of school, he feels like he’s been held back, but now he’s in the same class as Jongin and even if he’s still a year younger than his classmates, he almost feels normal.
Sooman puts him in therapy. And Taemin refuses at first. Adamantly. But Sooman promises him it’s for the best, that if he doesn’t want to, he doesn’t have to go alone. Sooman stays with him the first few sessions. Listens. Holds Taemin’s hand and assures him everything is going to be okay now.
He’s back to being in SHINee before he knows it, and he cries and hugs them tight and listens to them tell him stories about how as soon as they found out, they were trying to figure out how one of them could adopt him. And it makes Taemin laugh through the tears, makes him laugh longer and louder than he has in months.
His therapist says being back in SHINee will be good for him. Will help him get some structure back into his life. But she insists that he lives at home, with Sooman, just a while longer. That he not move back into the dorm quite yet.
“It might bring back some not so nice memories and feelings,” she says gently. “Spending the night every so often won’t be a problem. Hanging out with them and visiting them will help, even. But for now, home should stay home. Until you’ve readjusted to everything.”
Taemin thinks it’s a miracle when he comes home from practice one day and hears two barking little dogs, and he falls on the floor and cries and holds them close, calling their names, letting them lick his face and bark at him. Because Sooman and his brother had found their dogs. They’d been at a shelter this entire time, never adopted because they were older and bonded and no one wanted them, but Taemin wanted them, he wanted them desperately, and here they are now, in his arms, licking at the new scar on Taemin’s left hand.
Taemin is traumatized and scared and he’s turning fifteen instead of seventeen this month, but finally he feels safe again. He has his brother and his dogs and SHINee and now he has new parents. And they’re not his real parents, not the people who raised him, not the people Taemin is still convinced were his guardian angels, but they’re good parents. They take care of him. They love him. They protect him. And that’s all Taemin wanted.

Angel
“Gigi, can you help me with my homework?” Maddie said
I looked up to see Maddie at my door frame, and i couldn’t help but smile at the nickname that Mason called me, get passed down.
“Sure Maddie. What’s up?” I said sitting up on my bed,
Adrianna Madison was my  4 year old little sister and I loved her dearly. She was the perfect mixture of my Mom and Dad. She was incredibly smart and always loved being around me. I couldn’t help but to want to be around all of my siblings.
She saw that I was willing to help and jumped up on my bed. All she needed help was to write her name in cursive, which really wasn’t hard, but I know she just wanted to spend time with me, which I didn’t mind.
In the past 5 years, I’ve gotten a little sister, and two new baby brothers on the way. Yes, my mom is pregnant again, and she is a whale. But do not tell her I said that, because she will literally try to kill me.
It’s actually a few days before my Sweet 16 party  and I actually cant wait. I turned 16 a week ago, but I couldn’t have my party until this week because of my mom’s pregnancy. My daddy is helping my mom plan the party, but being that she’s pregnant, no one is actually getting anything done. Mom is stressed out beyond belief and Daddy is stressed out because of Mom, so it’s me and the party planner that I hired, on Daddy’s bill of course.
“Madz where you go?!” Andrea yelled
I rolled my eyes as soon as I heard her voice, “In Gigi Room, Domi!!” Maddie yelled back
Andrea followed Maddie’s yelling and stopped at my door frame, she knew better not to step foot into my room.
“Mommy is looking for you Maddie, and you ran off! You know she’s mad.” Andrea spoke again.
Maddie pouted, “I just wanted Gigi to help me with homework. I don’t want to be in trouble.”
“Well, go find Mommy before you get in trouble and then when you come back, I’ll help you.” I spoke to Maddie.
She nodded her head and ran off to find our mother. When she left, I started to play on my phone again, but I heard someone clearing their throat to get my attention.
I sighed, “What do you want Andrea?”
“It’s Dominique.” She mumbled,
I looked up at her and the look I gave her, slightly made her cower away from the door.
“I don’t care. What do you want?”
She shuffled her feet, and mumbled something again, but I couldn’t understand her. I honestly was getting annoyed with her presence.
“What do you want Andrea? Speak up I don’t have all day.”
She sighed and spoke louder, “Since Zoey got an invitation to your sweet 16, and so did a few of my friends, I was wondering if I could come as well? You know, with you being my older sister and all. I did have plans to go with An’Dreanna, but she said if I have to go to the party, she won’t come pick me up.”
I knew just as much as she did, that this was a stretch. I specifically remember telling her that she couldn’t come to my party, I didn’t want her there, I barely want her living in my house. And to add salt to injury, when Daddy built our new house, he combined our rooms by a bathroom, a way to “force us to bond”. But as you can see, I don’t care.
I knew the only reason she wanted to come was because she hates her maternal grandmother. She literally cries every time she has to go to Aspen to spend time with her grandparents. I think it’s hilarious.
I kind of chuckled, “Whose idea was it for you to ask me that? Yours or Mason’s?”
“It was Mason’s. But Gigi please, I wont be in your way, just let me come to the party Please.” She begged
I got irritated that she used my nickname, so I got off my bed and leaned on my door, I looked at her up and down, and she was honestly pathetic in my eyes.
“First of all, Don’t you ever call me Gigi. You don’t have the right to call me that. It’s Angelique to you. Secondly, Don’t call MY mother Mommy, in my face ever again. The monstrosity that birthed you is behind bars for damn near killing MY father. That’s Your mommy.”
She tried to speak, and I put my hand in her face telling her to shut up.
“Andrea, I really don’t care. and Lastly, no you can not come to my party. Have fun with your grandma.”
I put my hand on my door and slammed it in her face and locked my door.
Tumblr media
Dominic
“She did what?!” I yelled
“Dominic, calm down, okay? Getting upset is not going to make the situation better.” Giselle sighed.
We were sitting in the kitchen after dinner, and Dominique told me what Angel had did to her earlier today. I knew Angel wasn’t the biggest fan of Nique, but she’s only 8. Angelique should know better.
I knew something was wrong when Angel talked about the party all night and Dominique didn’t say a word. Everyone was just as excited for Angel, but Nique just pushed around her food. When Giselle asked Nique if she needed to call An’Dreanna to tell her there was no need to come get her this weekend, Angel spoke up and said:
“Andrea was really excited to go see her grandmother, we wouldn’t want to stop that, now would we Andrea?”
And Dominique said she wanted to go with her grandmother. She’s never wanted to go with her grandmother and she hates being called Andrea.
“Daddy, please don’t say anything to Angel. I can go to An’Dreanna’s this weekend.” She cried
It was hard seeing both of my daughters fight all the time. I should’ve put a damn stop to this a long ass time ago, but I thought Angel would grow out of it, just like she did with Mason.
“No, you’re staying here this weekend and will enjoy the party, just like everyone else.” I said sternly.
“Daddy, please. She’s just going to hate me more, cause you’re making me stay here!!”
“Dominique! I said you will stay here. Now, stop crying and get ready for school tomorrow.”
She sniffled, “Yes sir.” and she ran upstairs.
“How did we raise such a brat?” I mumbled.
Giselle chuckled while rubbing her belly. “That’s your daughter.”
I shook my head, “No, she acts just like you did when you were her age.”
I sat behind her on the bench she was sitting on and rubbed her belly for her, she leaned back on my chest and closed her eyes. When I tell you I was ecstatic to hear I got my wife pregnant with twin boys! I was beyond excited, I had 3 daughters and when I tell you, hell was my house, oh, it was my house.
Between Angelique and her attitude, Mason and him just being a terrible teenager, Dominique and her mother and grandparents. All I had was my sweetest angel Maddie, and I knew that was only going to last a while.
“How are the twins today?” I asked her
She opened her hazel eyes, and slightly rolled them. “These boys are terrible. I’m not having anymore kids after this Dominic. They aren’t even born yet and I know they’re going to be a handful.”
I laughed, “I told you when we found out about Maddie, all you had to do was give me a son, and I would be happy.”
“And you got two, and I’m not doing this again. They kick me all time of the day. Major sits on my bladder, Micah puts his foot in my ribs, I just cant anymore. I want them to come out, but we both know if they come out any time soon, Angelique would blow a gasket.” She laughed.
I sighed, “What are we going to do about her? She grew out of it with Mason, and she’s a great older sister. But not to Dominique, I don’t get it.”
Giselle shrugged, “I don’t know, I’ve never been in this situation, and I’m tired of making excuses for her.”
Angelique was never accepting of Andrea since the day she met her. I understand why she felt the way she did when she was younger, but Angel is 16 and treats her sister like a stranger. She always said “I have a brother and that’s it” whenever people would ask how many siblings she had.
Giselle started giggling, and I was totally confused.
“What?” I asked her,
She continuously giggled, “I am a horrible parent because I’m laughing but, remember when Dominique was about 5 or 6 and she was at school, and she had gotten her dress wet. After we told her not to, but if she ever needed one of us, she should tell her teacher that she had an older sister and brother at school and they should call us.”
I shook my head, “That was the time she wet herself and told her teacher to get Angel, and Angel had the whole school convinced that Dominique wasn’t her sister.”
“Do you remember Angelique’s response?” Gi giggled.
“God, we are terrible parents, we should’ve beat her ass that day.” i laughed which lead Giselle to giggling uncontrollably and then she burst into tears crying.
“We are horrible parents Dominic!! What if Angel treats the rest of the kids like this?” She wailed
My wife and her uncontrollable pregnancy emotions.

Olivia
“So, how is your first semester in college going?” I asked Sage over facetime, my baby girl was 18 and off away at NYU completing a degree in Pre-Law, she wanted to be a lawyer, just like her momma.
“It’s fine. I miss all of y’all, though.” She said
“I know, we miss you too. But we are picking you up from the airport to come to Angel’s party. I know you’re happy about that.”
She smiled slightly, and I knew something was wrong.
“Did something happen between you and Angel?” I quizzed
“No momma, I just know some drama is going to unfold and I don’t want to be apart of it. Angel said that Diamond, Aaron’s little sister is coming, and if Diamond is there, then he will be there too, and I don’t want to see him.” Sage explained.
Hell I don’t want her to see him either. Aaron is Sage’s ex-boyfriend, Jeremiah didn’t really like him in the first place, but I wasn’t a fan when I found out that he was abusing my daughter. I been through an abusive relationship and it broke my heart to find out that it was happening for 2 years under my nose, I felt so bad that I didn’t see the signs.
“Did you ask Angel to Uninvite, Diamond?”
She shook her head no, “That’s one of Angel’s best friends and Angel doesn’t know what Aaron did, so she would ask me questions about it.”
“Why don’t you-“
“Tell Angelique Marie Boudreaux Cartier, that my ex boyfriend beat me since I was 15, and I didn’t tell her, yeah that’s smart. You know, she would try to fight him, and then she would try to kill him.”
I laughed because it is true. Her name is Angel but she is anything but that. Once you piss her off, there is no coming back, When I tell you that child can hold a grudge, oh, she can hold one and wont let you forget it. She’s literally Dominic’s twin, she also tends to act like my uncle Xavier when he was around. She has  Giselle’s spoiled brat attitude, with Xavier’s temper and Dominic’s mouth and attitude. She acts just like Dominic and Xavier, and I think it’s funny because Giselle nor Dom know how to deal with it.
“You are right.”
“How’s everyone doing so far?” Sage asked me.
“You know the triplets are a mess, running around here. Having 3- 13 year olds at the same time, is exhausting. Between Marie’s gymnastics/cheer schedule and Reese’s basketball and Aiden’s football, I need another body to just drive them around all day.”
She cackled when I said that, “Momma, you did not call them triplets, they weren’t even born on the same day.”
“Shit, they a week apart, might as well be. They stress me out like they are triplets.” I laughed.
“I really do miss you mommy.” Sage smiled, but ever so sadly.
“You know you didn’t have to go all the way to NYU, you could’ve stayed here and went to UCLA, They have a great program too honey.”
“I know, but I needed to leave LA for awhile.”
“I completely understand, same reason why I came to LA in the first place.”
“Tell daddy I miss him too, cause I have to study now Mom.” She told me.
I will. Love you.”
“Love you too, Mommy.”
~~~~~~~~~
A few days later, Sage was home and it was Angel’s birthday party. It was a royal theme so meaning we all had to wear All white with some splashes of Gold. I was sitting in the living room, when Sage ran down the stairs.
“What’s the rush?” I asked.
She had this bewildered facial expression, “My best friend/ cousin is about to kill her entire family. They decided to tell her TODAY that Dominique is staying to go to the party.”
I shook my head, “So, Giselle will be calling me crying.”
“Yupp! I’ll call you later mommy!” She yelled on her way out of the door.
“MA!!!!!!!”
I rolled my eyes, “WHAT!!!!”
“TELL MAURICE AND AIDEN TO LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!” Marie yelled.
“MAURICE AND AIDEN!!!!”
“Ma! We didn’t even do anything.” Aiden said coming down the stairs, with Maurice and Marie following him.
Marie just rolled her eyes, “Yes they did. They wont let me get ready for Angel’s party!”
“Now you know if your father hears Marie, the both of y’all in trouble!” I scolded.
You would think that Aiden and Maurice are twins the way they act. You cant separate them and you cant tell them a damn thing. You can tell they are Jeremiah’s bad ass kids.
“Ma! Ree got a boyfriend!” Maurice yelled as soon as J walked through the door.
“Who has a boyfriend?” He said raising his eyebrow
“Marie.” Aiden and Maurice said at the same time.
“Daddy, no I don’t. I swear.” She quickly responded
 Which led me to believe that she did, but don’t let Jeremiah hear that.
Kamryn
I rolled my eyes, I couldn’t deal with the shrieking that Xavier’s girlfriend was crying about now. Like Girl, I am just trying to pick up my children and go home. Mani and Mari were 14 now and my baby boy Zack was 6.
Xavier Valentine Zackary Boudreaux III was born in the midst of my divorce with Xavier and his girlfriend had a problem with everything I did.
I sighed “Calliope, I am just trying to get my children, it’s not my fault that you are still a side chick when it compares to me.”
Kamari and Kamani busted out laughing. This is what she gets. She tried to cause a scene with me in front of X and the kids, and gets embarrassed every time it happens.
“XAVIER! ARE YOU GOING TO LET HER TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!” She screeched.
He just rubbed his temples and sighed, “Callie, if you didn’t start with her-“
“No! If you didn’t constantly cheat on me! With your ex wife who got pregnant and had your son! Why didn’t you make her get an abortion, like you did with me!”
“Girls, take your brother and get in the car please.” I said to them handing them my keys.
They obeyed me and went to the car, after watching to make sure they weren’t trying to eavesdrop, I turned to X and his girl.
“Listen here, I was never going to abort my child, unlike you. I am stronger, I am a better mother that you would’ve ever been. Yes, was Zack born at an inconvenient time, sure but he’s the blessing I was praying for. Where were you when I was having miscarriage after miscarriage? Oh, yeah you were fucking my husband. So your opinion, your wants are not valid.” I said walking out of the house.
I dropped the kids off at home with my mom so that she could help them to get ready for Angel’s party.
“Where you going, mommy?” Zack asked me while getting out of the car.
“I have some business to take care of before we go to the party. Grandma is in the house, she’s gonna help you get ready and take you to the party, I will meet y’all there” I spoke to him, in which he nodded and went in the house.
“Mhm, last time you had business to take care of, we got a little brother.” Mani said smirking.
“Tell Daddy, we said hi” Mari teased.
I rolled my eyes, “Take y’all asses in the house, before I beat you.” I laughed.
~
“Fuck!!! Right there!!!” I screamed out, Xavier just grunted as he continuously pounded in and out of me.
“You feel so good.” He moaned, while kissing my lips and then my neck down to my breasts.
I moaned and arched my back, his kisses on my skin always got my going and he knew that.
“Shit, Xavier! Don’t ever stop baby. Your dick feels so damn good.” I moaned again
I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck and brought him closer because I knew I was about to cum.
Because he knew my body so well, he started to rub my clit so that we could cum at the same time,
“Let me pull out Kam.” He strained.
But I kept my legs around his waist, because I was in such bliss, and we both came, making him come inside of me, I didn’t care to be honest, I loved when he did, it made the experience even better.
He rolled over, and we were both sweaty and breathing hard, this was our 3rd round and we were running late for the party.
“You’re on the pill right?” He asked me.
I laughed, “Xavier, I am not, but don’t worry, were good.”
“You sure? Last time we had Zack. I don’t need Callie at me again because of it” He asked again
“Then stop fucking me.” I shrugged.
“You know, I can’t”
“If you can’t handle the consequence, shut the fuck up.” I told him and I got out of the bed and covered myself to go get in the shower
When I got to the bathroom door, I dropped the sheet, “Now come fuck me in the shower.”
And just like that round 4 started…… and my recently straight hair was now curly. He’s just going to get it fixed anyway.
Giselle
When I tell you this party was extremely extravagant. It was overboard. I am ready to kill my daughter. She went over budget and I know I was pissed, but Dominic, he was on a rampage. I was glad the shit was over. So many teenagers and their parents, little kids, people touching my stomach. I was ready to slap someone.
“Who would’ve known that Giselle, is the mean one out of us.” Rosalie and Lizzie laughed
“Shut the hell up, how would you feel 8 months pregnant and strangers keep touching you. I think the twins are giving me a mean streak.” I sighed
“Hell yeah, cause when you were pregnant with Maddie, you were the sweetest person out there.” Lizzie said.
“She’s my sweetest kid to date.” I smiled thinking of Madison, she was like Angel all over again, but I got to raise her this time.
“Have you guys heard back from Katie?” Rose asked me
I rolled my eyes, even til this day, this hoe is a pain in my ass. She gets worse every time she finds out that I’m pregnant.
Last time, she tried to take me to court for child endangerment, Olivia shut that down before we even got a court date. Now, she’s trying to take Dominique away over Christmas break, knowing damn well we planned to take the kids out of the country for their month break, but she wants to be a bitch because I’m having the twins and she cant see Nique, if she’s not in the country.
“There is nothing she can do, I have parental rights over Dominique, she gave those up, she cant demand to see her more when Nique doesn’t even want to see her.”
“She still cries?” Liv asked, popping into the conversation with Kam.
I nodded, “She hates going with An’Dreanna and she hates going to see Katie. Then Angelique doesn’t make shit better when she bullies her.”
“I don’t understand why y’all haven’t put her through a wall by now. Mani and Mari tried that shit with Zack and I almost went to Jail. Shit Xavier’s little girlfriend did too. She got stomped that day” Kam laughed.
“You’re still fucking our brother?” Lizzie asked
Kam just shrugged, “5 times before the party.” She smirked, and then started to play with her curls, thinking about it.
“That’s nasty, he’s my twin. Why don’t y’all just get back together. You have history, children and obviously can’t stay away from one another.” Rose complained
Kam shook her head, “I don’t love X like that anymore, I can stop at any time, I’m choosing not to, because I know he won’t stop it. I have to. and I don’t want to. I like having sex with him. and his girlfriend just allows that shit. So”
I rolled my eyes and got back topic “We thought she would grow out of it. She hated Mason at first, but she got over it. We thought it would be the same way. Hell Dominic, strategically put their rooms together by a bathroom, and it’s still not working.”
“They just have to figure it out for themselves, I guess.” Rose said.
“Well, it’s only going to get worse, Cause Dominic is about to put Angel on punishment for this damn party.”
I shook my head, before anyone could talk, all you heard was yelling, and Mason came down stairs to the kitchen.
“What the hell is going on now Mason?” I asked.
“Dad told Angel she is now responsible for Domi. Her phone, laptop, all electronics are taken away, her car is taken away and the only time she can drive it is to take Domi to school and wherever she needs to go. She’s off the cheer team, and can’t even hang out with Sage. Her spring break is cancelled and she has to watch the Domi, Maddie and twins whenever, you guys want her to. Yeah, Gi ain too excited about that.” He said.
My son was so handsome, he was growing into a mini Dominic and I loved it, even if he hated it.
“You’re so handsome honey.” I said, touching his face.
He smiled, “Thank you mom.”
Just then, Angel came downstairs looking for me. “Mom!!! Daddy is being unreasonable!”
“Angelique, you torment your sister, and let’s not even get started about how outlandish this party was. He’s being nice. I would take everything away from you and make you take Dominique everywhere including her visits with her mother.”
“MOMMY!!!!” She screamed at me
I don’t know if my child lost her mind or what, but I am about to hurt her. Pregnant or not.
“Angelique, get out of my face, before I actually hurt you. You now have the responsibility of taking Dominique to seeing Katie and you know the rules!!” I stood up, being stern with her.
Angel started crying, “You know I hate that woman!!! She’s obsessed with me. I’m NOT DOING IT!”
All i heard was her yelling something she wasn’t going to do, and I went to reach for her, but Mason stopped me because he was in between us.
“ANGELIQUE!” I screamed and reached for her, I was ready to choke her out.
“MOM! You peed on me!” Mason said disgusted.
I looked down, because I didn’t feel like peeing, I gasped. My water just broke.
“DOMINIC!”
I instantly felt pain and hunched over while holding onto Mason
“Mommy, are you okay?” Angel asked, concerned
“Go get your father!!”
Everyone started running around grabbing their own children and grabbing my bags for me.
Dominic came downstairs, wet from the shower in basketball shorts and a t-shirt. He didn’t even have on shoes.
Mason was leading me to the car, and helped me get in the car. We had Mason, Angel, and Domi trained in case I went into labor when Dominic wasn’t around and they were helping me.
D zoomed out the driveway, with our entire family following us.
“You ready!!! The twins are coming!!!” He yelled excitedly
“You did this shit to me. So shut up! I’m trying to concentrate on my breathing!” I yelled mugging his head.
Mason laughed and helped me to continue to breathe.
~
After 16 hours of terrible labor, the longest out of all of my children. I gave birth to the most beautiful babies ever.
Dylan Zane Micah Boudreaux Cartier  and Dorian Zacharyah Major Boudreaux Cartier.
Micah and Major for short.
Dominic and I watched in the bed, as Angel held Micah with Maddie and Mason held Major with Dominique, and I couldn’t be happier at this moment.
I have waited my whole life for this.
“So, would you reconsider having-“ He said cheesing from ear to ear
“NO MORE KIDS MAURICE.” I frowned
He laughed and kissed my forehead
“Thank you so much, I am forever grateful for you. I love you.” He whispered to me
“I love you too.”
And we held each other until we both fell asleep.
~THE END~
