Hey hey! Do you think you could do a part 2 of She Said Yes!? They/them pronouns, and you can pick which ever outfit you want for them! Maybe the whole Hashira are there for the wedding, the Kamaboko squad, and the butterflies girls? The whole sha bang goes well! Maybe some sweet slow dancing and a funny shoe game! Just some sweet, tooth rotting wholesomeness with Shinobu! (And Inosuke eating the cake while Tanjirou or Zenitsu is just pulling him away-) Thank you so much for all that you do! And good luck! ❤🥰💪
She Said Yes Prt II
Shinobu Kochou x They/Them Reader
A/N: Prt1 I’ve probably been to three weddings in my life and none of them have been recent so tried to be a little more vague especially since there are all kinds of wedding traditions that I don’t know about. I did look up what the shoe game was and that does sound kinda fun : ) Hope you like it! Word Count: 2,193
The mansion was abuzz, more so than on an average day. The garden was littered with chairs, a clear path parting the middle leading to an artfully decorated lattice covered in flowers.
It was the day of the wedding and everyone had a part to play.
Kyoujirou and Tengen had set up all the tables and chairs around the garden for after the ceremony. Mitsuri, Obanai, Sanemi, Tengen’s wives, and the butterfly girls worked on getting the mountain of food ready. Muichiro added little pre-made decorations to the tables and Gyomei was reviewing the ceremony procedures with Kagaya and his family. Tanjirou and Zenitsu’s jobs mostly consisted of running errands and communication between groups while simultaneously making sure Inosuke didn’t destroy anything in his curiosity and excitement over the event.
Shinobu saw a lot of the goings on from her window, the girls had already helped her get dressed and ready to go earlier that morning. A kaleidoscope of butterflies was swirling within her. She was excited, but so, so nervous. Somewhere on the opposite side of the mansion, (Y/n) was getting ready too. Her heart thumped and her hands grew unusually sweaty. It was important that the bride to be was as comfortable as possible and not be alone long enough to let her thoughts spiral, that’s why it was Giyuu’s job to keep her company.
“I’m getting married, Tomioka-san. You must be so jealous. Don’t worry, I’m sure someday someone will settle for you.”
Giyuu sighed through his nose. Shinobu had been verbally putting him through the wringer for the better part of an hour. He could see how Shinobu fiddled incessantly with the loose fabric of her clothes, the way she spoke a little more hurriedly, almost like she was forgetting to breathe.
“Tomioka-san,” she poked, “Are you even listening? If I could trust you to make a good cake, I would trade you away for Kanroji-san in a heartbeat.” She poked again, and again.
If using him like a stress ball would help her keep at least marginally more calm, then Giyuu could endure. Besides, being alone with Shinobu was leagues better than being in a bustling kitchen with Sanemi screaming about undercooked meat or Obanai standing a little too closely with a sharp knife.
After another half hour of jabs both verbal and physical, Kanao poked her head through the door.
“Everything is ready.” She informed softly, noting how her adoptive sister seemed to be even paler than usual.
“…Are you gonna go?” Giyuu asked after noticing that Shinobu seemed to be frozen to her spot.
“Of course I am.” Shinobu shot back a little snippily.
She just really couldn’t believe this was happening. It felt like her feet hand been welded to the floor. She flinched slightly when Kanao’s hand wrapped around her clammy fingers.
“Himejima-sama is waiting to give you away. He hasn’t stopped crying all morning. Everyone is very excited. (Y/n) more so than anybody I would guess. But, they did tell me to let you know you could take as much time as you wanted. And if it seems too overwhelming today, then—“
“No,” Shinobu quickly shook her head, “I want to do this now, I really do.” She quietly scoffed at herself, “Just another minute, please.”
Shinobu had never thought marriage was in the cards for her. Even when (Y/n) had proposed, it still hadn’t felt real. The morning after (Y/n) had proposed, Shinobu had gone to her sister’s altar to share the news. If either of them was going to get married, Shinobu would have bet everything on it being Kanae. Her older sister was enjoying herself no doubt. She had used to tease Shinobu about finding her special someone one day and like always, she had been right.
If Kanae was here, she’d be dragging Shinobu to the garden if she had to, not so gently waiting for her to make a move as Kanao did.
Kanao’s hand slipped away from Shinobu’s to have her arms encircle her waist. Shinobu was quick to return the hug, a soft thank you leaving her lips. After a few moments they pulled away, and Shinobu was ready.
They met Gyomei outside, the large man’s weeping only seemed to grow once Shinobu hooked her small arm around his bicep. Kanao and Giyuu went to take their seats, Kanao giving (Y/n) a quick thumbs up as she took her seat beside one of the chairs that was meant to be empty.
Gyomei patted Shinobu’s hand and the music started to pick up and people began to stir in their seats, turning to watch them approach.
Shinobu felt like she had bees buzzing in her ears, but her smile did not waiver. She refused to let all those foolish feelings of anxiety and sentimentality swirling inside her show.
She looked to either side of her, seeing all her friends and comrades looking back at her was almost too much. Then she looked ahead, locking eyes with her betrothed and everything else seemed to fade into the background and her mind finally felt clear. Her heart was still pulsing out of rhythm, but it was a joyous beat.
Seeing (Y/n) look at her, their eyes carrying all of the feelings she held herself and so much love, she could not wait to take their hands. Instead of being apart merely that morning, it felt like they had been apart for weeks.
And suddenly she was there, holding onto them firmly with no intention of letting go anytime soon.
(Y/n) gave her hands a gentle squeeze and an even gentler smile.
“Are you alright?” They murmured just loud enough for only her to hear. Warmth flooded Shinobu’s chest.
“I’m fine. Perfect.” Shinobu assured.
Kagaya approached the couple with the help of his wife. Gyomei would have been more than happy to officiate in his place, but it was so rare to have weddings within the corps that Kagaya wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
“Are we ready, my children?” He asked as softly as the sun was shining.
(Y/n) and Shinobu shared a look of adoration, then held each other’s hands more firmly.
“Yes.” They answered together.
“Then let us begin.” Kagaya smiled.
As soon as Kagaya pronounced them married, the crowd erupted with joyous noise and the music swelled, signaling the newly wedded couple to celebrate with a dance.
Shinobu didn’t even care that everyone was watching them, she pressed her cheek into (Y/n)’s chest and let her eyes fall shut.
“Did you sleep okay last night?” (Y/n) teased as they swayed.
“I slept as well as anyone might have expected me to.” Shinobu replied.
“Do you want to go sit down?“
“No, in fact. I think it’s about time to let the party begin. Don’t you?”
“Definitely.” (Y/n) nodded to the musicians and a more upbeat tune began to play and everyone cheered, flooding the makeshift dance floor.
With that, Shinobu’s energy renewed, and the newlyweds switched to a more lively dance. After a couple songs, they split to dance with various friends begging to cut in. Many congratulations and cheerful laughter was shared, it would surely be a day to remember.
After much dancing, the newlyweds were pushed back together and cajoled into playing a game Mitsuri had heard about once. They were seated in chairs, sitting back to back as the bubbly girl explained the concept.
“It’s a fun way to see how well you know each other! We’ll take turns asking questions about your relationship and if you think the answer is (Y/n), you’ll hold up (Y/n)’s shoe, if the answer is Shinobu, you’ll hold up Shinobu’s shoe, got it?”
“I suddenly feel kind of nervous,” (Y/n) chuckled.
“I would be nervous if I were you as well.” Shinobu turned in her chair with a smirk. (Y/n) stuck their tongue out at her.
“I’ll go first! Who fell in love first?” Mitsuri gushed, being the romantic that she was.
There wasn’t much hesitation before both of (Y/n)’s shoes rose into the air.
“I mean, can you blame me?” (Y/n) grinned. “It was almost love at first sight.”
“What do you mean almost?” Shinobu put a hand to her chest in mock indignation. “I am a delight.”
“Yes, but you can also be terrifying at times.”
“I’ll go next!” Kyoujirou exclaimed before Shinobu could rebuttal. “Who tells the worst jokes?”
This time, (Y/n) put up Shinobu’s shoe and Shinobu stuck with (Y/n)’s.
“Ooo, a conflict in answers already?” Mitsuri was very invested.
“(Y/n), your jokes are objectively worse than mine.” Shinobu declared.
“No way! People love my jokes. Yours on the other hand, are usually at the expense of others.” (Y/n) reasoned. “That’s what makes them worse than mine.”
“Ah, but you still laugh at a lot of the observations and inferences I share with you.”
“Yeah, and you laugh at mine even if no one else does so I think that makes us even.”
“What I’m getting here is that both of your senses of humor are shit.” Sanemi rolled his eyes. “How about this, who is more stubborn?”
Both of Shinobu’s shoes went up in the air.
“I’m surprised you would even admit to being stubborn.” (Y/n) commented.
“I’m not so much saying I’m stubborn, as I am saying that you, my dear, are kind of a pushover.”
“Hey!”
They went through a variety of questions and all was going pretty well until Tengen stepped up and opened his big mouth.
“These questions are weak. Let’s get to the good stuff. Who is the more dominant person in bed?”
Shinobu’s shoe went flying in at mach speed and nailed Tengen in the face.
“So was that the answer or…?” He rubbed at his sore nose, Shinobu’s shoe in hand until Makio took it from him and beat him over the back of his head for good measure.
“Shut up, you’re so embarrassing!“ She growled.
“We really can’t take you anywhere, can we?” Hinatsuru sighed.
“I mean… I was kind of curious too…”
“You want some of this too, Suma? Huh?!” Makio threatened, waving Shinobu’s shoe threateningly.
Suma shook her head rapidly and took cover behind Hina.
“Maybe this is a good place to stop.” Mitsuri laughed sheepishly. “I’m sure everyone is hungry, we should eat!”
“Cake!” Inosuke bellowed.
“Cake later!” Mitsuri yelled back for not the first time that day. “Tanjirou-kun, stop him!”
“Don’t worry, Kanroji-san!” Tanjirou leapt from his seat to tackle Inosuke back to the ground, Zenitsu not to far behind.
“Soon buddy, be patient for just a little longer.” (Y/n) told Inosuke as they and Shinobu began to walk past the scuffle to their table.
“There are a lot of savory dishes you can enjoy first, okay?” Shinobu smiled.
Inosuke’s face scrunched up, but he relented. As soon as he was sat back down at his table, he quickly got over it when he saw all the food spread out before him.
When (Y/n) and Shinobu made it to their little table, they both sat down with a shared sigh, they both chuckled a bit because they understood that it was simply a sound of exhaustion. The day had been quite long already.
Every once in awhile, someone would drum against their table and everyone would join in, not letting up until the newlyweds kissed again.
“You know, once we cut the cake we could try to escape.” (Y/n) suggested.
“(Y/n), are you suggesting we flee from our own wedding party? How scandalous.” Shinobu whispered with a smirk.
“Hardly scandalous, we’re married now. So? Are you in?”
“If you didn’t suggest it, I was going to.” Shinobu said.
There was more mingling before the cake was cut. (Y/n) saw Shinobu talking to Inosuke, watching his grin become more wild as Shinobu spoke. There was a quick interlocking of pinkies and then Shinobu walked off, flawlessly inserting herself into a different conversation.
Maybe twenty minutes later, they managed to get everyone’s attention back on the cake. Shinobu and (Y/n) cut out a piece together and only just managed to put it on a plate before a wild cackle was heard, drawing most everyone’s attention to the roof.
“Cake time!” Inosuke crowed, “leaping down from the shingles.
“That’s where he disappeared to?!” Zenitsu screamed.
“Inosukeeee!” Tanjirou yelled, he leapt to tackle the boar boy down, and he was mostly successful, but the table holding the cake began to tip dangerously as a result.
A chorus of, ‘Save the cake!’ Could be heard throughout the garden and as people rushed in to center the table, or dog pile on Inosuke, (Y/n) and Shinobu scurried away with their pristine slice of cake in hand.
When they made it to the last place in the mansion that anyone would think to look for them, they were breathless from laughing. They sat huddled together and peacefully ate their cake. Occasionally they would hear a shout or the pounding of feet running through the halls and they’d hold their breath, falling apart into giggles when the noises faded away.
They would have to go back eventually, but for now it wouldn’t hurt to celebrate their union a little bit on their own.

May I interest you with some j a z z y music? Well, not really jazzy but it does get you grooving! It's called Uptown Lady by a band called Jakubi, and it is a bop. Hope you like it!
(I don't know what I did but I accidently made this format fancy.)
Hehe
Me, someone who has written three Shinobu fics in two weeks and is trying to eek out a fourth: This uptown lady is giving me Shinobu vibes.
Fun song! Sounds like something you’d hear at the beach :D

Shinobu with an S/O who spoils all of the butterfly girls (and herself) with cute little trinkets she bought or made
There’s stuff all over the mansion that can be traced back to Shinobu’s s/o. From paintings and calligraphy to pottery and even a kimono for each girl who called the mansion home, they really put their heart and soul into everything they make : )

Fun thought, S/O getting Shinobu back with a prank of thier own, even though in the Fake Hickey fic, they kinda did, but what if Shinobu gets a taste of her own medicine?
Shinobu always seems untouchable when it comes to pranks. She’s always two step ahead. That’s why when she finally does get her comeuppance, it makes the victory all the more sweeter. However, this is also a double edge sword because Shinobu will hit back. May not be today, may not be tomorrow, may not even be that week, but rest assured she has not forgotten : ) 🔪 (a knife filled with love, I assure you)

Thoughts on Shinobu having a streamer S/O for Modern AU?
I don’t think Shinobu would be entirely ignorant to streaming and video games, but I’d like to imagine her not really having a clue about what’s going on, but is happy to watch from time to time. I imagine she’s still busy, but whenever she makes an appearance the chat goes wild. She may even mod on occasion and she will not hesitate to ban people if she sees fit. Not even a warning, just boom, they’re gone. If her s/o is playing horror games, she’s there 100%. Those are her favorite to join in on, especially if her s/o is a chicken lol

Hello Maddy! BirbMcGee here back at cha! I would like to request a Wedding or Proposal oneshot with Shinobu; They/Them with a tuxedo, (Or anything, it doesn't matter!) that's so nervous on how they're going to plan this, and eventually when/if Shinobu says yes, they get so emotional due to the fact that they thought she was going to say, "No."
Please take all the time you need, and thank you! One last thing; Please take care! You're self-care is everyone's top priority here! 💪
She Said Yes?!
Shinobu Kochou x They/Them Reader
A/N: Hi Birb! Hope this was worth the wait! Went with the proposal for this one. Word Count: 1,453
(Y/n) had been grappling with the same one question for months. Should they or shouldn’t they ask Shinobu for her hand in marriage.
Most would say yes, why not? They’ve been together for years, it seems only natural to tie the knot after so many wonderful years together.
However, it had not been especially easy to achieve such a loving relationship. Shinobu had been wary at the start, holding (Y/n) at arm”s-length. Whenever (Y/n) would ask her out, which had been many, many times, she’d turn them down every time with a smile and a sympathetic pat on the back.
Being rejected so many times, they had almost given up. In fact, when Shinobu had decided to agree, that was going to be the last time they asked before trying to move on. Shinobu had laughed at how surprised they looked. The relationship builded slowly, but they hadn’t looked back since. If (Y/n) had a hard time imagining life without Shinobu before, they found it impossible now, which was why they wanted to propose marriage so badly.
But, well, okay, they did look back and they saw all of the failed attempts to ask Shinobu to be their girlfriend. They had grown a lot since then, but what if Shinobu didn’t want to get married? What if the idea of marriage broke the spell over their seemingly perfect relationship and Shinobu rejected them? Worse yet, it could be a catalyst for Shinobu realizing she wasn’t really that happy with them and she’d want to break up!
It was that fear that made (Y/n) so tentative about popping the question. But… they wanted to try at least once. If Shinobu wasn’t really happy with them, who were they to make her stay. They just hopped it wouldn’t come to that.
And thus began the planning for the most sincere and heartfelt proposal they could muster.
They wanted it to be a private affair. Public spectacles were something Shinobu wasn’t a fan of. Not to mention if it went poorly, how incredibly awkward it would be to have all of their friends and family pop up just to watch them break up.
They would ask Shinobu to spend the day with them, a normal but no less special date. They didn’t want to make it too obvious what they were planing, but not make it seem too out of left field either. They didn’t want Shinobu to be left anticipating, dreading, but also didn’t want to put her on the spot without warning. The balancing act was maddening!
“You look so dapper. The western style suits you,” Shinobu’s voice broke (Y/n) out of their thoughts, “were you waiting long?”
“Not at all! You look really good too!”
Ah! They felt so nervous! They fidgeted with the collar of their tuxedo. Shinobu chuckled, and replaced (Y/n)’s hands with her own, helping them readjust to a more breathable position.
“It’s only fitting that we look good together, don’t you agree.” She teased, kissing (Y/n) on the cheek. “There, ready to go?”
“Yeah, thank you.”
When Shinobu was like this it almost made (Y/n) melt every time. Oh, who were they kidding? Nearly everything Shinobu did made them want to melt.
Shinobu threaded her arm through (Y/n)’s and then they were off. They took a train to the city to enjoy the day together. They had such a good time that they lost track of the time, only noticing how late it was when they happened to look up at the dark sky amongst the lit lanterns.
They didn’t even attempt to dash back to the station to catch the last train home. Instead they decided to spend the night at a nearby onsen. (Y/n) hadn’t meant to stay out so late, but it just never seemed like the right time to ask Shinobu to marry them. There was always something. People around, Shinobu drumming up another conversation, weird lighting… the list of excuses went on.
But here, in the comfort and privacy of the rented room, they would ask her.
“Today was really nice, don’t you think?” Shinobu smiled, she had already changed into her complimentary yukata.
“Yeah! Really nice!” (Y/n) agreed a little too eagerly, making Shinobu giggle.
“You should change too. These yukata are very comfortable.”
And (Y/n) wanted to, but there was something they had to do first.
Besides, if they changed then asked and Shinobu said no, it would be awkward to have to change again so they could go lick their wounds elsewhere.
“Actually, there is still something I have to do first.”
“Oh?” Shinobu crossed her arms and tilted her head to the side, “I was wondering when you would ask.”
“A-ask what?!” (Y/n) squeaked. Had they been that obvious?
“That’s what I would like to know.” Shinobu replied. “You seemed to have something on your mind. I kept waiting for you to say something, but you never did.”
Shinobu poked at (Y/n)’s chest, making them jump, “Tell me what’s troubling you.”
“It’s not a troubling matter!” (Y/n) assured, “It’s just nerve-wracking.”
“Nerve-wracking? What is, talking to your girlfriend?”
“No! I’m just—“
“Hey,” Shinobu took (Y/n)’s hands in her own, “it’s alright, just take your time, breathe.”
(Y/n) did just that and took a few deep breaths. Shinobu decided they should get some fresh air, so she took them out to look out at their partitioned section of the hot spring to watch the steam rise off of the water. After sitting down and leaning against each other for a few minutes listening to the trickling water until Shinobu spoke again.
“See, this is nice, isn’t it? Now, tell me what’s on your mind.”
Another deep breath.
“I love you.” How were those words so much easier too say than, ‘will you marry me?’. They weren’t always easy, granted. They thought Shinobu would run the first time they accidentally uttered them, but she was still here.
“I love you too,” Shinobu smiled and poked (Y/n) again, a little harder this time, “Now tell me what’s on your mind.”
(Y/n) turned to fully face Shinobu and gathered their courage. Shinobu loved them. They had no reason to believe she would lie. That wasn’t Shinobu’s style at all. Yet another deep breath, resolve gleamed in their eyes. Even if she did decline for whatever reason, it wouldn’t be the end of the world… right?
“Shinobu?”
“Mhmm?”
“Will you marry me?”
Shinobu’s lips parted in surprise and (Y/n) began to backpedal on pure reflex.
“AH! No pressure of course! Just a suggestion really! We don’t need any formalities. We’re fine the way we are! I’m bringing it up because, you know, in case you were interested I thought I should at least—“
“Sometimes, you overthink too much.” Shinobu braced her hands against (Y/n)’s cheeks and gave them a breath stealing kiss. When she finished, she only pulled away enough to angle her head to the side so she could rest her head against their chest.
“Yes, I’ll marry you.”
Once upon a time, Shinobu shunned the possibility of falling in love. In the world they lived in, it seemed not only unfeasible, but to pursue such relationships was just begging for disaster and heartbreak. That’s why she had turned (Y/n) down time after time.
But through their persistence, she couldn’t help but fall for them anyway. She could have kept playing the hard to get game, never really getting any closer, but when she had overheard the girls and the Kakushi whispering that (Y/n) was going to give up after one more try, she couldn’t bring herself to do anything but accept their invitation. She was scared to allow herself to feel this way about someone, but she would regret it more if she let them slip away.
“You really mean it? You said yes?” (Y/n)’s eyes began to sting. They thought for sure that she would say no, but she kissed them, she said yes, she was still hugging them!
“Yes, I mean it with all my heart. You poor dear, you’ve been on pins and needles all day about this, haven’t you? Probably even longer. I’m sorry.”
“What are you talking about, you don’t have anything to apologize for.”
“I didn’t exactly make it easy for you to pursue me back then. I imagine your hesitation stemmed from that.” Shinobu reasoned.
“Well, anyone would be nervous proposing to someone as amazing as you.”
“Too sweet.” Shinobu sighed, hiding the blush gathering in her cheeks. If they said anything, she would blame it on the steam from the water.
Still, she smiled earnestly against (Y/n)’s shoulder. She couldn’t wait to gloat about, and flaunt her soon to be spouse for all to see.

How do you think Shinobu would react if her s/o was a singer? Saw this ask about Mitsuri and I had to ask about Shinobu, also, would she sing with them? Or if they ever wanted to hear her sing, would she? I hope these questions aren't too much!
It’s not too much, don’t worry!
I think Shinobu would appreciate the art no matter the style. There are definitely types she would like to hear more, and types she could do without, but if it’s her s/o can’t help but be charmed just a smidge. It all will sound good to her, and she knows she may be biased, she can recognize it being a scientist and a doctor and all, but she doesn’t care.
If s/o wanted her to sing, I think it would take some time for her to feel comfortable enough to do it. I think Shinobu is a good singer, but maybe out of practice. If s/o suggested to sing together when they were alone, I believe she’d be more likely to comply. Having her S/o’s voice accompanying her would allow her to just focus on harmonizing and not if she’s potentially making a fool out of herself or not.

Hey Maddy! I read the Mafia AU with our pretty Butterfly lady, and I was wondering what the tattoo in the fic would look like? I know it was explained as butterflies, dragonflies and flowers, but, can't help what it might look like physically? (If that makes sense-), also, love your blog!
Sorry it took so long to answer, my wifi went out like twenty minutes after I read this and my data is useless. All good now though!
Yeah sure! I imagine it looked kinda like this but better (also colored I think). I also wanted to add bumble bees but I forgot. Below the cut are refs for the flowers I used. I’ve never seen wisteria in person though, so I don’t have a picture of that unfortunately. That’s what’s running down her right side.

Coming in live on Slayer News! I'm your host BirbMcGee; coming to give you all of the daily news in Japan!
Today on this wonderful Friday, of September 8th, 2022, witnesses claim to see, 'Various of Butterflies' roaming around Tokyo, causing mayhem to a 24 year-old man named, Tengen Uzui; a Sound Hashira from the Demon Slayer Corporation. We have a surveillance camera that had recently caught action of the Sound Hashira, fleeing from one of the 'Various Butterflies', which appears to look like the Insect Hashira; Kochou Shinobu, who is also from the Demon Slayer Corporation!
In the video, the Sound Hashira had looked quite mortified while running covered in, what looks like, to be needles filled with a mysterious liquid. Scientists say that it could be homemade poison from the Insect Hahsira; considering she does specialize as a doctor in her own humble abode; The Butterfly Estate! And further more..! Oh, yes, Mhmm... Oh no-
Apologies folks, we are getting some interference within the studio, uh, what..? ...Oh God, they're here.. Already?! U-Uh, we're going to cut this episode short today folks, until next time-! AH, THEY'RE RAMPAGING THROUGH- GET THEM OUT- AAH- GET OFF ME- GET OFF- AAAAH-!
We are experiencing technical difficulties, please standby 😊

Yoo, I gotta feeling this would be the dragon Shinobu would trace. I have a feeling at first, the ex-yakuza was skeptical about Shinobu loving them for who they are, but when Shinobu would trace the outlines on thier back, they would just melt and be like, "You don't dislike me? I was literally a criminal?" PLUS! When they get into fights, they automatically show thier ink, and whoever's fighting them would probably freak out- While Y/N is just standing there like, "You wanna f--king die? Come at me then."
Ooooo so swooshy 🐉
Funny thought, but I can imagine Shinobu having to constantly tell them to keep their shirt on when their sizing up someone for a fight. That’s for her eyes only! 😤

Hello Maddy! How have you been? Good? I was wondering about a Modern Day AU where Y/N is an EMT and works daily and night shifts? How would Shinobu react? Would she join them?
Hi! I’m doing alright. Hope you are doing well too : )
I think Shinobu might be hypocritical when it comes to the subject of overworking. She will work for nearly three days straight and then turn around and tell her s/o they should take a break while she keeps trucking onward. If they work together though, she does enjoy talking through the night shift while waiting for calls. Being a workaholic or having a demanding job can be kind of lonely at times so at least they’re in it together.
