More sporadic posts from #BirdInHandHalfmarathon weekend. This one from Friday. #allthesmores! After the pasta carb up dinner and the Christopher McDougall talk, we headed over to the bonfire and wondered how in the world do you roast marshmallows when you can't even get within 8 feet of the blazing bonfire? Either people had long arms or everyone took all the 10 ft poles. That is until I walked over to where everyone was and saw The Trough of Fire. I have never eaten so much food the night before a half marathon race. It was awesome. #BIHHalfmarathon #halfmarathon #runners

They had me at made-from-scratch-breadsticks. From yesterday's pasta dinner for #BirdInHandHalfmarathon. What an incredibly gracious community. The most delicious pizza and breadsticks. Watched Amish women make the breadsticks. Haven't run the race yet at this point but already know I must do this race every year. I have so much to share from this race I will post more in order. #BIHHalfmarathon
