In goblin, the most common naming convention is to use the most noticable thing on a goblin as their descriptor. This is why such names as Bugeyes, sharpteeth, bighump, and sidewaysnose are not only common, but held in high distinction. Some goblins, who hage lived long enough and survived enough fights, will have multiple distinguishing features, and thus will add onto their name, resulting in interesting creations such as "ol shinytop with the one snaggletooth what's missing 3 of his toes." A good rule of thumb is the more distinguished a goblin is, the longer and more insulting Descriptive their name is.

Goblins often struggle making friends outside their species, as they can't for the life of them understand why, when given such a flattery as a new name, other races become quite angry and belligerent.
