Oh, I see what you mean by Dabi acting like Joker woof. I was wondering why he was acting so dramatic doing this psycho crazy boi impression woof. Especially when small statements he made that revealed his beliefs genuinely already made him insane woof. Its clear how Endeavor destroyed his faith in heros and prolly humanity, but his reveal to his dad was so tryhard that I was laughing at him woof.
Hello again, dear! Hmm, I don’t think he was acting dramatic, I think the scene was genuine. I mean, it was not his own beliefs that made him like that, it was his father. Instead of saying his beliefs made him insane, I’d say being insane provided what he actually was longing for, and that’s being destroing Endeavor’s life. He was the first son, he didn’t have anybody in the beginning, he was alone.
And that’s why it reminded me a lot of Joker. I’m not saying that Dabi is exactly the Joker, but their character construction, at least for me, is really similar. Both of them were abused and tossed aside since childhood. The quote “the past never forgets” also represents both very well, for example when Joker killed Randall but spares Gary since he was the only one that was nice to him in the past. All their actions are based on things that already happened, being the future just a resolution for those things. And that’s why the way Touya revealed himself was so perfect for him and the dancing was to express how much joy he was having from it, he planned it for so long and it’s finally happening.
When he actually saw the world outside the Todoroki’s cage, he was already broken. Stain’s idea was the the missing piece for a traumatized kid: kill those false and hypocritical heroes. And that being said, what’s right or wrong? Just because “heroes” have that title, they can do as they please? Imagine for a child being casted as a failure since he was born and moreover from a person who has the title that everybody glorifies, a hero.
As Touya said, he knows that he killed innocent people, but as he also said, it was Endeavor’s flames. You see, he still is trapped. His “freedom” will just happen when he destroys Endeavor’s life in one way or another.
That’s why I really liked the scene. He was genuinely happy. He’s finally accomplishing what he really wanted. And as the Joker said “they think that we’ll just sit there and take it like good little boys, that we won’t werewolf and go wild.” But you know, Touya did go wild and he’s proud of himself.
OMG I WROTE A LOT, I’m sorry it’s just that I really enjoyed it haha

When an author confirms what everyone already knew woof. Im glad he committed to it instead of changing the twist just because everyone put 2 and 2 together woof.
hello! yes yes, i guess you are talking about bnha lmao and true, he gave us what we actually wanted and that was the best thing he could have done, i mean he didn’t care it was predictable since he hinted it many times in the manga itself, but the way he revealed the info that’s what made the fandom go crazy so much haha

Hi woof! Just realized I forgot to respond to you woof! Yes, there definitely was no try hard psycho stuff from Dabi woof. I actually also really liked your Joker comparison because that better encapsulates what Horikoshi was attempting to get across woof. When I saw the scene though, my brain just went "ah yes, those suicide squad wannabes", although that wasnt the intended message woof. THE NEWEST CHAPTER DEF FUCKED ME UP THO WOOF.
Hey there! How are you? And yes, he was genuinely happy, right? it was really good! Also thank youu, I hope that my comparison made sense haha Yeaah, the message was something different and I hope more people can see it too! RIGHT, OMG AGAIN I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER! Now the plot is really interesting, so yeah!

Hey, sorry I should clarify woof. When I said the statements made him insane, I meant they established him as insane to the reader woof. I genuinely love your analysis of the scene tho, but when I see that panel I just cant help but think of those people who tryhard to act psycho woof. Thats what it made me think of woof. Out of context that memeable panel is what got my bullshittery going woof. Im glad you enjoyed it so much woof. I see we both did for much diff reasons woof (ง ื▿ ื)ว
Hello, dear! Omg you are so nice, I’m loving to have this kind of conversation and analysis with someone lmao. Ohh now I see about  what you meant about the insane thing, but yeah the whole League in their own way is insane, that’s who they really are. If by tryhard to act psycho you mean in real life, yeah there are some people out there that just think they are cool if they act crazy, but in this scene I didn’t see any of it, I see a person that is doing what he actually wanted and being happy, lmao. But yes, I’m glad you enjoyed it as well, that’s what’s important here, yaay o//.
