{༻~Growth spurt??~༺}
CW: Pretty much crack headcanons, GN! Reader!! Mentions of the character now being taller than the reader! Slight brat vibes for the reader in Wanderers!
(Includes: Lyney, Albedo, Xiao, Wanderer, and Aether!)
Tumblr media
𑁍༄Lyney:
Lyney sat up in his bed, stretching his arms out and yawning sleepily. It took him a minute to fully wake up and even then he still felt a little off, but he decided to ignore it. Moving the covers aside and walking slowly into the kitchen to greet you. "Mmm mon amour, good morning~"
You spun around with a smile, "Morning Lyney- LYNEY?!" You dropped your plate of toast, having to tilt you head up just to make eye contact with the magician, it was like he'd become a giant in his sleep! "What in tevyat happened to you?!?! You're so tall!" He stared at you questionably, like he didn't really understand what you were saying, "What do you mean I'm so tall, I'm many things but tall was never one of them."
You hopped over the shards of glass, disregarding it as you stood next to him, raising your hand above your head to measure the new difference in height, "Lyney, you literally have to look down to see me now. You had like, some sort of crazy growth spurt!"
Lyney thought about it for a moment, leaning down so he could kiss your cheek, "Well well well, I'm not complaining then. Though I'm slightly worried about some of the tricks Lynette and I would normally do...CAN I EVEN FIT IN THE MAGIC BOX NOW?? Oh no...oh no!!"
𑁍༄Albedo:
Albedo had been staring at himself in the mirror for almost ten minutes at this point, wondering why the angle was different, why his body didn't seem right...he was a scientist, one who delighted in waking up to the usual because his work was always so unusual...but this was unlike anything he'd ever experienced. Perhaps he was just...crazy? "Love, could you come here for a moment?"
You set down the book you'd been reading and followed after him, stopping dead in your tracks once you saw his figure looming over the bathroom sink..."A-albedo?!" You covered you mouth in shock, your eyes starting at his feet and trailing, up up all way to his hair. "You're so tall...was this one of your experiments??"
"I almost wish it was, but no...I've just had some sort of insane growth spurt apparently. I wonder if anything else has changed besides my height. I'll have to test it.."
"...what else do you think changed Albedo..."
𑁍༄Xiao:
"You're staring again..is it really such a big difference?" Your cheeks blushed as Xiao crossed his arms, clearly unimpressed with your sudden interest in his height, but in your defense...it actually was a big difference. He went from being a short Yaksha to suddenly taller than all the adepti...and it hadn't just affected his height, it was like he felt even more confident in himself as well.
Everyone who walked by averted their gaze as if him being taller meant he was stronger than he had been before...and he seemed to be indulging in it alittle. Glaring at other men who even dared look at you...and intentionally kissing you in front of everyone whenever there was a opportunity... maybe it was just in your head, but it left you finding it hard to look away from him. "Sorry, I don't mean to stare Xiao, you're just-"
"Different...in a good way?" His yellow eyes met yours and for a second you could have sworn he had a small smirk play on his lips..
"Yes...in a good way, in a very good way"
𑁍༄Wanderer:
"Wanderer, shut up!" You stomped your foot down, clearly annoyed with him, though he didn't really seem to care. Ever since he woke up with this whole foot of height over you he hadn't stopped teasing you about it, just leaning over you and watching as your cheeks blushed or grabbing things you couldn't reach and intentionally moving in closer then needed.
"Say that again and I'll make you shut up instead." He shot you a glare under the brim of his hat, his mouth turned up in a thin smirk as he yet again made your heart race. You crossed your arms and turned away from him, why did his height make him even more of a confident ass? "Yeah right."
"Idiot. I'll show you what this new height can do then~"
𑁍༄Aether:
Aether tilted his head to the side like a dumbfounded puppy, listening to you and Paimon as the two of you panicked about his new height, every possible answer only leaving you both more confused. He on the other hand, wasn't really that interested in a why or how, he just wanted to take advantage of his new found height, something he'd wished he'd had not long ago.
"I don't know, but growing that tall over night can't be good right?"
"I don't know Paimon, but it's definitely worrisome-"
"I think it's a good thing..." His voice was quiet, barely above a whisper as the two of you turned to face him, "I've always wanted to try something at this height actually..." You raised a eyebrow at him as he stepped closer to you, holding out his hand like he wanted you to take it. He smiled at you softly as you placed your hand in his and then in what seemed like slow motion, he pulled you close to him,his face moving in close to yours as he kissed your lips. Your heart skipped a beat, electricity shooting through your body..."A-aether!"

!300 followers special!
giving the fontainians bouquets!
characters: bf!/gf!every fontaine character x gn!reader
author's note: THANK YOU GUYS FOR 300 FOLLOWERS AND I DECIDED TO DO THIS, WELL, THE IDEA WAS SUGGESTED BY MY LOVELY @mariaace AND I THINK IT'S ADORABLE! this is what the poll was about btw lmfao ANYWAYS enjoy<33
Tumblr media
✧ Furina
-blushing.
-adorable blushing.
-"o-oh! t-thank you, [name]! i didn't expect such a... beautiful bouquet... but i'm not complaining, don't get me wrong!"
-she would keep that bouquet in your guys' house for the rest of eternity.
-and would combine it with every other bouquet/flower you gave her.
-she loves you 5 times more now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
✿ Neuvillette
-"w-well... this is certainly.. unexpected. but.. thank you. you truly are thoughtful."
-he would be flustered but definitely wouldn't try to hide it as many others would.
-it's a really pleasant feeling for him and he sees no point in trying to hide it, especially from the person causing it.
-aka the one he loves.
-keeps the bouquet on his nightstand, making sure none of the flowers die or lose color.
-and if at least one flower does, he'll write you a 10 page paragraph apology with a big bouquet next to it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
☆ Wriothesley
-"oh, well... thank you, i suppose. *wink*"
-he'd be so much more flirty and teasing after that.
-i mean, he'll keep the flowers and take care of them, but he'll tease you a lot more.
-more frequent winks and smug looks to you.
-he just knows you love it when he makes you blush like that.
-not like you're complaining in the first place.
-and he's expecting more flowers after that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
✯ Navia
-THIS BEAUTY OF A WOMAN.
-will definitely blush and elegantly take it in her hands while she smells the flowers.
-"wow... they're so beautiful... thank you, really..!"
-she values your relationship a lot but now she values it even more.
-it really makes her feel loved and appreciated.
-probably would invite you to a dinner date afterwards, where you eat macaroons together.
-and keep the bouquet eternally.
-idk i have a thing for fictional blondes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
✷ Clorinde
-she's not playable yet but ughhhh
-she's perfect she would literally blush but still try to keep her intimidating and serious behavior.
-"this is... for me? thank you, i suppose."
-if you tease her about her blushing you'll just make her blush even more.
-but don't do it, let her get comfortable with you aka get to somewhere more private.
-this woman will literally send you a letter signed by "champion duelist" not wanting you to know that it was her.
-the letter consisted of a "thank you." and a purple flower tied to it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
⑅ Lyney
-unexpectedly, he would blush really hard.
-like ofc he would do his best to mask it but you can see through him almost like lynette, you've known him long enough.
-"a-ah! mon amour..! this is simply beautiful and so kind of you! but- i'm the one who gives you flowers, not the other way around, right?"
-wether you agree or disagree with him, he will continue blushing.
-will keep the flowers on your guys' living room table, to remind him of this moment anytime.
-do it more and see how much longer he can keep masking all of that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
๑ Freminet
-"w-why thank you, [name]... y-you're really sweet..."
-a blushing mess.
-the flowers will be taken care of, no worries!
-but the way his heart started beating fast when you gave him the flowers made him smile.
-he tried to hide the blushing but he failed, too captivated by your confidence.
-he's probably gonna talk to lyney and lynette all worried with how his dear beloved makes him feel.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
✪ Lynette
-"this is.. certainly an unexpected gift. thank you sincerely, [name]."
-she'd blush but she's too good at hiding it.
-wether you notice or not, she'll act the same.
-it's not exactly "serious mode" after that.
-but she will keep the bouquet and take care of it.
-she would let you know that she liked it and that she kept it, sure, but not as emotionally as the others would.
-she's adorable when you notice her blushing face tho.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
× Arlecchino
-i had to include her since she's a fontainian too.
-"this is for me? well, i can't say i don't like it, so, thank you, if that's what you wish to hear."
-she's not one of those who would blush, instead, she'd either make you blush, or just let you know that she likes it with a genuine smile.
-honestly, in both situations, she'd make you blush.
-she just has that captivating aura, not like she would blush like a child right then and there unlike lyney
-but yeah i see her keeping the flowers too
-the only difference after that would be her reminding you of that whenever you disagreed with her for whatever reason.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
⊹ Chiori
-not exactly a fontainian but she does live in fontaine so ig i have to include her
-i love her and i love her personality and i love how she would react.
-"this is all... for me? why, thank you, my dear. i don't remember a time when i felt this appreciated."
-there would be some faint blush on her cheeks but her eyes showed more.
-they showed her thankfulness/gratefulness for you aka for having you in her life.
-now those flowers stand on her shop window, making the boutique look even more stylish.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
⊰ Chevreuse
-she's so underrated imo
-she's not used to love/gifts at all but this definitely made her happy.
-"thank you, i guess. i've never received something like this, but i'm glad i finally did. and it's from you."
-i see her having a huge soft spot for you, especially after that.
-will definitely talk to chiori about you and this moment.
-she'll even give you a bouquet a few days after as a sign of gratefulness and returning the favor.
-she cares for you a lot deep down.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
YAYYYY I'M DONE<3
i didn't include sigewinne cuz i wanted to make this romantic (i think that's all of them for now btw)
but yeah i hope you guys like it^^
SISTER's SUPPORT
Summary: A sister has gotta do what she gotta do. Slight dark undertones, implied stalking, very mild yandere behavior? But could be read as fluff or dark comedy, but questionable. Kinda dumb-
Why do I imagine Lynette being the pushy and bickering sister-in-law in support of her dear brother who hasn't cared to mention that you are partially still a stranger? And he hasn't gotten the chance to even introduce himself? But, he's a little shy and head over heels and implementing subtle tactics to bring you in.
Tumblr media
"Do you care for a trick?"
You've heard it before, and though you never believed in magic or magicians you turned around to see the young man bowing his hat, a hand behind his back, and an elegant posture.
Magicians are but clever in deceiving and trickery, concealment, and whatnot. You could list a few more.
However, in favor of answering his voice, you speak up, "Oh no, thank you." The least you could do was smile and walk away, and you were going to until he stepped an inch and insisted, "Please just one trick?" he pleaded with his eyes this time.
You looked away, dealing with persistent people never went well in your case so you nodded, and he grinned big. Sighing and whining internally, you fold your arms and watch him reveal the insides of his hat, you've seen it done many times.
"Don't blink!" he playfully cautioned.
You dare not.
He examined you for a brief moment then pulled out a picture from the empty hat, and quickly handed it to you with a wide smile. You had been expecting a rose or something that symbolizes passion, or love. But not what you were seeing.
A hazy picture of black and white with a figure whose face resembled a ghost. It was an eerie sight to witness first thing in the morning.
"What... What is this?"
"Oh, did I hand you the wrong one?" he feigned innocence leaning over and taking a peek, "Oops!! My apologies, even magicians make mistakes!!" he exclaimed, stealing the picture out of her hand and replacing it with a ticket instead.
"As an apology, please accept this free ticket to my magic show this evening, I would love to see you there!" and then, he vanished into the alleyway.
You did not give much thought to the incident and went on your day, the ticket at the bottom of your pocket forgotten and missed. Cruel or sad may it be, you had no business being someplace you didn't want to.
It would have stopped there normally.
But it didn't...
"Oh!! Hello there!" It was his voice again you heard on the streets, he wasn't alone this time, "I must have freaked you out with my wrong trick, I figured that's why you didn't come to my show." Faking ignorance seemed harsh so you ceased your doing and glanced at the twins, you wanted it to be swift and stress-free.
"Not really, I was busy with work and I'm not a fan of crowds, Sorry I couldn't attend it." his sister had been staring long and fiercely, an odd sibling you assumed and acted, "I hear it was marvelous, the show you put up, people are still talking about it."
"You liar." That's the first thing you heard from his sister standing by his side, glaring and throwing knives into your chest, not literally but your heart did skip a few beats.
And strangely, it seemed to agitate the magician more than you. "Ha-ahaha! She just likes to tell jokes, don't mind her!"
"Oh... Uh, I see."
The conversation had turned sour, and none of you spoke a word or met eyes if it hadn't been for the young man, you would have been stuck in the silence for much longer.
"Um... We were heading to get dessert, you should come with us." he offered, friendly-toned and cautious of how he was being viewed, Despite the kind suggestion, you would rather decline than take harmless risks.
"Thanks... But--"
"Just shut up and come with us already. You have nothing to do tonight we know."
"Lynette!!"
If the earlier comment hadn't affected you, it did now. Sadly for you, his sister wasn't done yet and took a step forward to point an accusing finger at you, as if you had gone and killed someone dear to her and laughed it off in her face.
"Do you even know how sad my brother was when you didn't come to his show? You should be sorry for what you're doing to him! Why are you causing him pain?!"
Perhaps, asking for no trouble invited it instead.
"You torment him with your moody strikes! And you have the guts to ignore him! How dare you tear apart my brother's heart and act as if you're this kind lady who doesn't hurt-"
"Lynette!!!" Confusion couldn't dare to describe how you were feeling, the scene looked like a family quarrel, and you weren't even a part of it.
You felt like a wife scolded by her sister-in-law. Would saying anything work to quell the tension brewing in the air or even the eyes watching them? If you had to make a bet, the people were having the time of their lives watching the drama unveil.
"I'm sorry, I'm not sure I follow... I've never really talked to your brother-"
"You're coming with us!!" The only thing left for her to do was drag you there herself, that would be humiliating.
"Alright."
You felt like a part of the family alright.
As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging.
Tumblr media
Your nails are crusted in dirt as you kneel in the garden. You grunt as you wrestle the roots of weed from the soil and toss it aside. You wipe your forehead with the back of your glove as you hear the screen door snap shut. Your grandmother stands on the stoop, her hand on her achy hip.
“Did you hear, dearie?” She calls in her creaky voice. “Someone’s moved into Clyde’s old house.”
“Huh?” You catch your breath as you gather up the broken weeds, “it’s half ash.”
“Suppose they’ll fix it up,” she mutters as she leans on the narrow iron rail along the side of the backsteps.
“Suppose,” you agree as you stuff the green and brown foliage into the paper bag for the compost. “Who told you that?”
“I was just talking to Lynette on the phone. She also said Molly’s having her fifth.”
Five kids? You hide your chagrin at the thought. You don’t mind kids but that’s a lot to handle, let alone the pregnancies. Molly balloon’s up so big she can hardly move. Her last shower, she sat the whole time. Not much different than you, you guess. You sat in the corner and watched the silly games
“That’s exciting,” you say as you stand and dust off your knees, crumpling the top of the bag in your other hand.
“Ah, I’m sure you woulda loved to have four sisters? Maybe brothers? It’s a pity your mother never gave me any more grandchildren.”
“Mmm,” you suppress a frown, “yeah, well…”
“Anyhow, enough talk of spoiled milk,” she waves off, “I got a pie in the oven. You can take it over the Clyde’s once it cools.”
“I… why would I do that?”
“Oh my, don’t be ridiculous. We have a new neighbour, we have to be polite and welcome them to the village. It’s probably a nice family, or maybe someone your age. A friend?” She suggests, “I’d do it myself but I don’t think I’d make the walk…” she looks down at her hip, theatrically rubbing it.
“Right,” you agree, the prospect of strangers making your tummy lurch. “Well, that pie will take some time.”
“Long enough for you to put on something clean,” she tuts as she looks down at your dirty jeans, “my lord, what would they think?”
“Yes, gramma, I’ll change, once I get this in the compost.”
“Good,” she smirks triumphantly and turns to swing open the screen door, the hinges whining shrilly.
You sniff and cross the yard. It’s not often there’s new faces in Hammer Ford. The village is a tourist trap at best and not a very lively one. Everyone calls each other by name and it’s second nature to stop and say hi. But that’s because you know each other; you have for years.
You lift the lid on the large bin and empty the bag into it. You could always lie and hide the pie in some bushes. Your deceit wouldn’t be hidden for long. Even in this sleepy place, word travels fast and someone always seems to be watching and waiting to pass it on.
🥧
You head out with the pie in a basket like some fairytale. You’re only short a red hood and a big bad wolf. You set off down the country roads, following the lazy curves towards the horizon. It’s after noon and the sun’s turning mild as it drifts across its pale canvas.
The old homestead is the second closest to your grandmother’s. The homes around Hammer Ford or sprawled out amid the plowed fields and green meadows. The cluster of old pines loom over you as you pass in there shadow and crest the hill that marks the edge of the property. Clyde’s tractor used to sit there, just by the broken down fence.
Ahead, down another stretch of road, this path unpaved, stands the decrepit house. The tragedy still singes the memories of the villagers. That night comes back to you in a blaze of orange and the smell of cinder. Poor old Clyde was buried behind Sacred Stave church.
You search the overgrown grass for a sign of life. There’s a black truck by the caved in garage but that’s about it. It might not be a family. It’s a lot of work to do with little ones around. If anything, it would only be the parents as they rebuild. Your mind wanders, wondering who would buy the old farm and why.
You come down the path, just along the ditch that dips behind a cluster of brambles. There’s a snap and a crack and you skid to a halt on the stones. You spin and look around, a heavy breath pluming into the air. Like the fire reawakened.
“Can I help you?” The deep timbre rolls through you and you step back on your heel as you face the man down in the ditch. He peers up at you above the scraggly top of the brambles.
“Uh,” you gulp and stare at him dumbly. He might think you’re lost. Or worse, trespassing.
His hair is short, only an inch on top and shaved even shorter around the sides. His beard is thick around his mouth, growing sparse across his cheeks, and two vibrant blue eyes beam back at you. The way he looks at you makes you want to shrink away. You can sense the city radiating off of him. He scares you.
“Hello? What’s up?” He waves as if trying to wake you up.
“Um, pie?” You say, cringing at your own speechlessness.
“Pie,” he repeats flatly.
You hold up the basket and blink. You never were very good at introductions. You were the only girl at school without friends. You were just sort of there.
“Pie,” you echo once more and hold out the basket.
He tilts his head, curiously, and huffs. He juts out his jaw and grunts as he pushes the brambles apart and climbs out of the ditchy. His denim jacket is streaked in dirty and pollen.
He takes the basket by the handle, his rough finger brushing yours. He peels back the cloth and to peek inside, “pie.” He utters the syllable a fourth time between you.
“Yeah,” your voice is wispy and small. “Bye.”
You let out a strained breath and spin, keeping yourself from breaking into a sprint. You stomp away frantically, smacking yourself internally for being so awkward. Well, maybe that’s a good thing. He’ll have no reason to talk to you ever again.
oh god it actually reached 69 likes😧 fine😿
So that image with racer Clorinde, Miko, and Lynette,,,, *inhales*
FUCK ME SO BAD, RUIN MY LIFE, THRIVE THEIR COCK INSIDE ME, GRINDING ON THEIR THIGHS, SUCKING ON THEIR COCK DRY. MAKING OUT EVERYDAY EVERY NIGHT, I CAN SEE MYSELF SITTING ON THEIR LAP WHILE MAKING OUT WITH THEM, GRINDING ON THEIR THIGHS AND COCK. LET THEM HEADLOCK ME WITH THEIR THIGHS WHILE I SUCK ON THEM. LET THEM SHOVE THEIR FINGERS IN ME SO HARD. HAVING ROUGH SEX WITH THEM. FUCKING INFRONT OF A SINK SEEING OUR REFLECTION IN THE MIRROR, SCREAMING THEIR NAME EVERY THRUST. TEARING UP.
i need relief–😭
-🎲
MMMMMPFBDISJS TO GRIND ON THEIR LAPS IS ASCENDING ME RN 😍
Can you imagine them getting super possessive over you the longer you take grinding on another woman’s thigh? Miko and Lynette especially, as poor Clorinde would have you on her lap for just a few seconds before Miko and Lynette are snatching you away, wanting your pussy on their thighs/cocks, so they can quickly get their good luck rubs in before the big race.
Clorinde is a bit annoyed. After all, the kitsune and the cat woman are almost too possessive over you, to the point you’re sprawled out between them trying to pleasure all of them at once. As the only one with any rationale thought, perhaps Clorinde is the one that has to set the other two straight. Organizing a whole shared system that has you grinding on someone’s lap for a good three minutes before switching over to the next person.
Miko and Lynette oblige quite reluctantly, but it’s all for your sake cuz well…how else are you gonna grind on all 3 women at once? 😍
"Meeting Father"
☆Prompt: Suspicion has been arising about you ever since you were determined to go to Fontaine with your 'Father' and she eventually figures out the truth behind your behaviour, wanting to meet the cause of it.
☆Warnings: Arlecchino scaring Navia, Navia being flirty, wholesome moments between you and the twins and Freminet and Arlecchino.
☆Side note: Reader is the oldest child in the house of Hearth and the heir to it.
Tumblr media
In the Zapolyarny Palace, sat Arlecchino in her office, her oldest daughter, bowing slightly towards her in a way of showing respect.
"Tartaglia is imprisoned in Fontaine and the Tsaritsa wants you to retrieve him, Father."
"That idiot always seems to get himself in trouble and others have to pull him out," Arlecchino sighed, "but nonetheless, it's the order of the Tsaritsa. I trust that you'll be okay here without me."
"Actually Father, may I come with you?"
She raised her eyebrows at your request. "Why is that? You may lift your head now."
You gulped nervous before raising your head. "Well, it's been a while since I've visited my... home and uh... I haven't seen the twins and Freminet in a while."
"What if Columbina needs you?"
"I've already spoken to her and she said it's fine."
"What if the Tsaritsa needs you?"
"She also said it's fine."
"You're quite determined to go. Are you sure there's nothing else?"
"No father. I'm sure."
She hummed in acknowledgement before agreeing. You beamed with joy but quickly regained your composure, not wanting to give away the real reason behind your visit. She dismissed you and told you to pack your bags as she got ready to leave. Arlecchino wore a thick white coat, with black fur adorning the neckline.
You were getting dressed in your room when Arlecchino walked in, and placed a coat over your shoulders. "It's going to get cold. Besides, I think it's time you wear this." She offered a small smile and helped you put the coat on. As her oldest, you tend to see sides she's never shown to anyone before and she confides in you to keep them all a secret.
You looked at yourself in the mirror, Arlecchino standing by your side. "In a few years time, you'll be standing here with your little one as I am standing with mine." A slight red tainted your cheeks as she mentioned it, making your thoughts trail to someone.
Meanwhile in Fontaine, Navia sat with Clorinde, both of them enjoying a cup of coffee; well Clorinde enjoying the coffee. "She hasn't responded to any of my letters. Can you believe that?! She can't be cheating on me right?"
Clorinde spat out her coffee at the mention of You cheating on Navia. "Navia calm down. Y/n could never cheat on you. I'm sure she's busy."
"Busy doing what?!"
"Why are you shouting at me?"
"I'm sorry..." Navia sighed sadly and sat down. She was suddenly approached by the twins.
"Good evening ladies," Lyney took off his hat and bowed.
"Hey there guys."
"Hello."
"My sister and I came to invite you to our magic show tonight. It's going to be a grand one, so don't miss it!"
"My apologies but I won't be able to make it tonight."
"It's all good miss Clorinde. And you miss Navia?"
"Oh I'll come! It's not like I have anything better to do anyways."
Lyney and Lynette shared a look with each other. They knew about Navia's relationship with that unknown person. "Lover struggles," Lynette sighed. Lyney chuckled nervously and patted Navia on the back as she slouched on the table and whined.
Night rolled around rather quickly and the twins heard the news that their father was coming to Fontaine but what they didn't know what that their big sister was also coming. The show went on and it was spectacular. The twins did an amazing job as always. Navia had a backstage pass and she watched them with a smile on her face, Lyney's radiant smile reminds her of her lover's own.
Getting lost in her own thought, Navia didn't realise that someone was hugging her until she felt their hot breath against her neck as they whispered, "Missed me?"
She turned around and her eyes immediately brightened. "Y/n!" Jumping into the arms of her lover was a must, she held onto you tightly.
"When did you arrive here?! I missed you so much!" You felt tears hit your neck and you felt guilty, knowing why she was crying.
"I'm sorry I didn't respond to you. I wanted to surprise you."
"Well you're surprised worked okay," she chuckled with tears in her eyes. You wiped them away before gently pressing your lips onto hers. The kiss lasted for about thirty seconds until she pulled away.
"Wait how did you know where to find me? How do you know about this show?"
"Well you se-"
"Big sister y/n!" You turned around and immediately opened your arms for the twins. Lyney ran into your arms and you picked him, hugging him tightly. You pulled lynette into a gentle hug before kissing them both of the forehead.
"Does this mean father is here?"
"Yep. You're presence is required at her office. Go on, I'll catch up and hey, don't tell Father about me and Navia." Lyney and Lynette nodded and they ran off.
When you returned your attention back to Navia, she looked stunned. "You never told me that Lyney and Lynette are your siblings."
You interwined your fingers together with hers before walking. "Well, we're not related by blood. We come from an orphanage where we were saved by Father. She took us in and watched over us since then. I'm actually the oldest so it makes me the big sister. Have you ever heard of 'The house of Hearth'?"
"I did. Its quite popular in Fontaine."
"Well that's the orphanage."
"The house of Hearth is an orphanage?!"
"Yeah. It's quite shocking isn't it?"
"I can't believe you never told me it."
"I'm sorry. Anyway, how's Clorinde?" You stopped walking when you reached her house.
"She's good, I actually talked to her today."
"Listen, I gotta go now. But I promise I'll spend tomorrow with you."
"Promise?" You nodded before pulling her into a kiss. She wrapped her arms around your neck and pulled you deeper into the kiss as she let out a strangled moan. You pulled away shortly, wiping the saliva off your chin. "I want more than a kiss from you tomorrow," she winked entering her house. You let out a breath. God that woman drove you crazy.
A/n:
I'm gonna write a part 2 to this because it's actually quite long.
Tickletober Week 4: Voodoo Doll
Tumblr media
A/N: I randomly got hit with inspiration and decided to write this last tickletober fic—thanks for your interest!
Summary: Lumine wants to play around with Lyney's voodoo doll
Characters: lee!Lyney, ler!Lumine
“What’s that, Lynette?” Lumine gazed down at the small felt doll with a little felt top hat in Lynette’s hands.
“It’s a voodoo doll. Mona helped me make it.” Lynette answered.
“Oh, wow. Does it really work?”
“Yes, it does. We’ve used it in a couple of shows. It was actually Lyney’s idea.”
“It looks just like him.”
“Thank you. I’ve gotten pretty good at needlework lately. Mona helped me cast the spell on it.”
“Is he feeling you hold it right now?”
“No, it can be turned on and off, per say. All you have to do is say the magic words.”
“Would you mind if I borrowed it?”
Lynette side-eyed Lumine. “What for?”
“Harmless fun. I would never hurt him or anything.”
“Hm… Alright, I trust you. Just bring it back to me by the end of the day.”
“Thank you! I’ll take good care of him. I promise.”
Lynette handed the doll to Lumine. Lumine held it with utmost care. “Do you know where he is right now?” Lumine asked.
“He’s probably in his room practicing. I can take you upstairs.”
Lumine followed Lynette up the staircase. “His room is right next to mine,” Lynette gestured. “Oh, the magic words are…” she whispered something to Lumine. “Have fun,” she smiled.
“I will,” Lumine smiled back.
Lumine walked down the hall and stopped in front of the door with a big red cursive “L” with a hat on it, right next to the door with a big teal cursive “L” with cat ears on it. She hid the doll behind her back and knocked three times. “Lyneyyy~”
Lyney quickly opened the door. “Ah! Hello, darling. I thought it was you. Here to see me~?” Lyney bowed.
“I am! Mind if I come in?”
“Of course!”
Lumine stepped inside Lyney’s room and walked over towards his bed, noticing the playing cards and other various props scattered about.
“Sorry about the clutter. I was practicing a few tricks.”
“No worries at all. I actually wanted to show you a trick myself.”
Lyney blinked. “Really?”
“Yep! I think it’ll be better if you sit down.”
“Oh, okay!” Lyney plopped down onto his bed.
Lumine said something under her breath. “You ready?”
“Go aheaaAAAHAhahAhaAhahAHA?!” Lyney jumped and shrieked as he felt something suddenly start squeezing his waist.
Lumine giggled. “So it really does work!” She brought the doll into Lyney’s view, holding it up in front of him.
“Wha? W-wait, isn’t that- EEEK! Ehehehehehe!”
Lumine tickled the doll’s tummy.
“P-please be careful with that, I can feel it through my c-clothes,” Lyney flushed.
“Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. I just wanted to play around a little, that's all.” Lumine winked and squeezed the doll's hips.
“Nohohohoo! StahahAHAHAhap ihihit!”
“Not yet. I think you like this~” she whispered into the doll’s ear. She then tickled both of the doll’s ears with one finger each.
“EHEHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHA *snort* HAHA *snort* AHAHAHAHAHA!” He covered his ears with his hands, which did nothing.
“Aww~ Look at you, trying to protect your cute little ears.”
“DOHOHOHOHOHON’T TEHEHEHEASE MEHEHEHEHEHE!” He covered his face instead.
“Hey, no hiding! Oh, I know. I remember you being really ticklish riiiiight here.” She gently scratched the doll’s underarms.
“EEYAAAAHAHAHAHA nAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
Oh, it was incredi- horrible. No matter what Lyney did, he was unable to protect himself from the tickling. He rolled back and forth, kicked his legs, and glued his arms to his sides, but nothing helped.
“You’re so adorable.”
“SHUHUHAHAHAHAHAHA! SHUHUHUT UHUPAAAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”
Lumine started to tickle both of the dolls feet with fervor. “Wow, I’m surprised this works this well through your boots!”
“PlehehEHEHEEASE! LUHUHUMIHIHIHIHIHINE!”
“Please what? Please tickle you more?”
“NOHOHOHOAAAHAAAAAAA! NAHAHAHAHAT THAAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!”
“Ooh, did I find a good spot? Are your inner thighs sooo super sensitive, Lyney? Right here? And here?”
“PLEHEHEHE—AHAHAHA—IHAHAHAI CAHAHAHA—CAHAHAHAHAHAHAN’T!!” Lyney’s laughter went silent a few times as tears of joy ran down his cheeks. His face was bright red.
Lumine tickled and teased him for a few more minutes until she thought he had really had enough. She muttered something and put the doll down on the bed, climbing on top of the real Lyney to give him a hug.
“Aha… I hate yohohou…” Lyney panted.
“No you don’t~”
“Whatever… Mrrmph!”
Lumine kissed him. She felt him melt into her. “There, all better?”
“Y-yeah… I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Platonic Yandere Lyney Thoughts
Just a little think piece abt what I think Lyney would be like as a yandere, and what I think would make a him a yandere. Small Lynette cameo. Repost cause the last one disappeared so sorry. PT 2 here!
cw: soft yandere, kidnapping, child!reader, gn!reader
Platonic and soft Yandere Lyney who really wants to feel like a good big brother. His siblings are both House of Hearth members, doing dirty work for the Fatui, so he knows he failed somewhat with them. But you?
The adorable little street rat that sneaks into the crowd to watch his shows, wide eyed and amazed? Who jumps and can’t help but giggle when he shows off even the simplest of card tricks? You just look so… starved. Like a baby bird without a nest. Easy to scoop up and take home.
He wanted to be your savior. The one who you look up at with admiration, amazement. “How did you do that, Mister Lyney!”
In front of you, he didn’t feel like a mistake of a brother that failed to save his siblings from this life.
If only you just came home with him. Every time he offered dinner, or invited you around to watch a new magic trick of his, you refused. He supposed he couldn’t be mad, stranger danger and all that. He knew better than anyone else. As days passed and he continued to watch you hungry, searching for scraps while he had a house full of food. It broke him.
Maybe thats why he followed you back to your little hideout.
You didn’t notice, after all, what match was a street rat against a master of diversion? The hideout was tucked in a thin alleyway, hardly wider than him, behind some shops not too far from home. The rooftops of the nearby buildings shielded you from the rain as you huddled in what could only be described as a nest—formed from ratty old blankets and the rare trinket or clothing item you undoubtedly stole.
Lyney sighed, gathering you up in the dirty quilt you clutched and holding you in his arms. “Lighter than you should be… poor thing. I’m taking you home now kid.”
You didn’t move, just laid in his arms, but he hoped warm glow of his pyro vision was soothing to your freezing body.
Lynette was awake when he came through the door, you in his arms. Immediately, her sharp eyes fell to the child in his arms, and she just sighed. “I suppose this is what you set the guest bedroom up for?”
“Oh come on Lynette.” He said, an edge of excitement in his hushed tone. “I couldn’t just leave them. Anyone could have come by and snatched them up!”
“Evidently, someone did. You.”
“They’ll be better off with us.”
“They don’t know that. They won’t. For months, even. Are you prepared for that?” Lynnette said, sighing when Lyney nodded. “Oh well, you seemed so set on this. I installed key operated locks on the windows throughout the house while you were away. You already did but I figured everywhere would be more helpful in case they escape their room before they’ve settled.”
All at once, Lyney untensed, a look of pure relief washing over his face. He honestly didn’t know what he’d do had Lynette rejected their new sibling.
“Thank you Lynnette, you’re always such a help.” He smiled over his shoulder at her as he carried you to off your new bedroom.
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ @bl4cktourmaline request: yahoo~ bee! it's me again:33 I saw the requests are open? If it is and I'm not tripping then may I request for Lyney with an oblivious reader who is a big fan of his and they are like... mutual pining for each other but they aren't even aware of it that it's become annoyingly sweet lol
Words can't describe how I love this man
Tumblr media
*ੈ✩‧₊˚ Hey hey! You're not tripping don't worry I see our mental state is similar lol But omg help I love it!! Down for Lyney too won't lie-
But omg, I kinda wanna write part 2 of this!! If I'll still feel like doing this after my requests are all done and I don't forget, I'll def be continuing this!
Anyway tho... I hope you enjoy! I personally kinda like it so I really hope you do too ^^
At this point Lynette and Freminet were watching you two. Even if they were 2km afar, they could still see you two and could only sigh about the view.
Lyney gave you another rainbow rose. It was like... 24 day strike by now! He gave you one every day, and every single time in a different time. First time it magically appeared in his hand, yesterday he pulled it out from ear your ear and today he "found it" in your tea!! How's even that possible?!
"For you, mon cherie~"
"Awh, thank you! I actually got something for you as well!"
"Oh really? Now what could it be... maybe you got me a reward for my latest magic show?"
"Well... yeah you could think so! Though I actually mean it as a gift for being such an amazing person for me!"
He could only chuckle as he took small box from you. His cheeks flushed gently but somehow, it just didn't got through his scalp what you really meant...
"Well isn't that sweet! Now what could we... ah- that's my favorite cake! How did you know?"
"I just happened to remember it. It's the least I could do for all the gifts you gave me recently."
But maybe it wasn't just him who was being a bit blunt here. You were as well, he was giving you rainbow roses every day, flowers meaning he loves you and yet, you just couldn't notice that special meaning...
"Should we finally help them?"
"Let them be for a bit longer."
2 siblings were now considering just coming up to you two and hitting you in the head, maybe then you'd notice how you both have obvious feelings for each other!
They know their brother has a crush on you because after every meeting with you, he's kicking his feet like highschool girl with crush in his bed. And you? You admitted yourself to Lynette while asking for advice because you thought he hated you when in reality, he was a tomato and had to run away from emberassment.
But both eventually decided to stay back and watch. They don't want to take this special moment away from you... But maybe the can at least do some backstage work at helping you with confessions?
"You see... I got something just for you! I have very important snow this weekend and naturally, I reserved a seat in front row just for you!"
Lyney smiled as he hands you the ticket with small bow, his eyes never leaving yours but not in a creepy way, he just couldn't help but admire you a bit.
"Oh you didn't had to really! But I do appreciate it. I'll definitely show up, thank you!"
"No need to thank me! It'll be enough for me if you come and let me see your smile~"
"What?"
Finally realizing what he said, his cheeks became red and began stuttering even tho he's usually smooth with his words.
"I meant- naturally I'd want to make... my audience happy! That's... just natural... magician's instinct! Yeah."
"Oh that's understandable! Well knowing you, your abilities and charms, I'm sure it won't be hard at all."
But he wasn't any better. You were clearly trying to compliment him, but he thought it's just you saying it as audience and not as someone with a crush...
"Actually... let's maybe make a plan. We can start tomorrow."
Freminet nodded on his sister's statement and entered their hous, leaving the two of you be and prepared the great plan with simple goal: getting you two together!
IDK if someone want to read my Fremillei Brainrot but... here.
FREMILLEI TALKING, watching landscape ( ANGST A BIT (dont worry it ends well) it is not a fanfic bcuz lol i am so bad at writing (if it is not in french)
**CW : self depreciation**
**SLIGHT SPOIL : FREMINET BACKSTORY**
FORGIVE MY POOR ENGLISH BYEEE
Freminet suddenly being pessimist about himself, saying how he can only bring disappointment
"Don't say that !"
Collei shouting a bit fierce, which made Freminet jumping a bit
"You are also have your own strenght-"
He already heard those speech from his big sister but... it sounded different from Collei's mouth
"Look ! You can repare machine, you create toys... that's amazing ! Not everyone can do that ! In Sumeru, we could hire you in Kshahrewar Darshan... Freminet, you are amazing ! You can also diving, fishing..."
Freminet didn't know what to say, he is always gloomy.. "I am sorry Collei... you are just- amazing... compared to me I-"
"Please don't say that.."
Collei looks down.
Freminet suddenly felt guilty
"I am also like you, Freminet" her voice trembling
The young man was perplexed, but too scared to offense, he stayed in silent and just listen
"I feel terrible toward myself. Look, I am slow-learning, it still hard for me to read and write. I made a lot of mistake, I felt miserable... I am so scared to fail, I am so anxious when it comes people expectation... and my dark past growing back, my mind becomes weak and it is overwhelming... and sometime I can't resist them.. it hurts everywhere... it is like..." she stopped. She looked at the sky, trying to not cry. And after her pause, she turned her face to Freminet, with a smile but a broken voice
"It is like I am drowning."
Oh. Those words... that's exactly how he felt too. Those words resonated in him.
"I.. I stopped to trust people ! I hated my mother for giving me up. I hated everyone. But more than hating everyone, I hated myself..."
Freminet couldn't help to think about his mother.. when he didn't know the truth, did he hate her ? Did he hate the orphenage before "Father" took it..? Now he mature a bit, the only person he hate is... himself.
By this thought, he clenched his fist.
Collei took a deep breath and shouted
"BUT LIFE KEEPS GOING"
Freminet startled for a second time
"I met friends... family ! Who are dear to me. They give me their hands. They helped me. They are so patient with me. They love me. I can tell how genuine are their feelings...! And I am grateful to them. I love them too ! To repay them... I decided to become the best person I can be..! Being gloomy won't help me in this goal."
She looked in Freminet's eyes, with a determination stares. It was hard for him to be removed from her gazes.
"So yes, Freminet ! You are also amazing on your own way ! Please believe in you, at least for those you wish to protect !
You also have people you deeply care, right ?"
"Y..yes..."
Collei was silent, it looks like she wished him to continue.
Freminet took Pers in his hands stared his blue eyes.
"When I was young, I fantasized of.. just being emotionless. But, the more I grew up, the more I discovered I was hypersensitive.. it is one of my big weakness."
He did a pause, looking at Pers, deep in his thought.
"The orphenage is my home, and every children was considered like my family but... it felt more like we are just gears to make a big machine functionning. I didn't mind it, at least, I was useful. Everytime I felt lonely, I only have Pers with me."
He wanted to cry. The number of time "Father" scolded him, but he couldn't cry because "Father" hate those who cry.
Collei, was still listening, with an empathic look, as she understood what he was feeling.
"But...! I met Lyney and Lynette and.. even if they were inseparable, Lyney always called me little brother.. Lynette always console me ! In this big family, Lyney and Lynette are my genuine companions, and I can claim it ! And now I also met traveler, and Paimon.. ! I-..."
Ah, this is bad, he wanted to cry so much.
Collei encouraging him, tears in her eyes.
Freminet would usually ran away and go deep underwater, in his safe place, to cry all his heart.. only Romaritime flowers as witness.
But, he bursted to tear, couldn't keep all this feeling for himself anymore.
"I DEEPLY LOVE THEM..!"
Collei smiling, while a tear falling on her cheek
"..yes !"
They both usually alone when they started to feel overwhelmed. But this time, flowers, clouds, and them together were their companions.
////
AFTER A WHILE THEY STOP SOBBING
they are both pretty embarassed but they laughed
This is the first time they both cry with someone else, and.. that's a weird feeling !
{༻~Freminets birthday~༺}
A/n: Oh my gosh he's so freaking cute!! Happy birthday Freminet!! This is all super fluffy and sweet!
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
𑁍༄Freminet:
Tumblr media
You couldn't help but giggle after you had opened the door, the sight of Freminet and his siblings carrying a medium sized cake box all together like it was a precious diamond so silly to you and yet still completely in character for them, "Hello you three! Come on in, the table is all clear. Oh and happy birthday Freminet!" The second he was no longer holding the cake you gave him a big hug, smiling happily while his face turned a sweet cherry red.
"Thank you..." His heart was racing faster than a bunnies and if he was being truthful, just your hug could be considered birthday gift enough. "Sorry...to show up unannounced. I just wanted to share some cake with you...it's a very beautiful cake and I thought you'd want to see it." He pulled away slowly, internally panicking when his eyes met yours...and also completely forgetting he was going to show you the cake.
"Ahem..." Lyney chuckled at his brother's shyness and opened the box for you to see, it was perfect for Freminet! Decorated with fruits and dallops of whip cream, it looked like the ocean, no wonder he loved it so much, "Oh my gosh, that's a gorgeous cake! It looks to good to eat..." The siblings nodded, all of you looking at the cake before Lynette finally went and got a serving knife...
After the cake had been cut you all enjoyed a nice slice and it was just as delicious as it was beautiful! Super sweet and creamy! Of course any awkwardness soon faded away, replaced with tellings of past birthdays and laughter, your home warm and inviting. In fact you'd gotten so caught up in the chatter you didn't even realize it had gotten dark outside until Freminet gently touched your hand and asked if you'd like to go for a walk along the beach with him.
It was pretty cold outside, the ocean breeze chilling you as you walked hand in hand with the birthday boy. It was a feeling like no other...so stress relieving to just listen to the waves as they crashed into the sand and seeing the moon reflect on the surface of the water.
"This...has been my best birthday so far."
You took your attention off the view, looking at Freminet who's cheeks and nose were red from the cold...or blush, either way he looked adorable, "Then let's make sure every birthday is like this one...only better." You placed a little kiss on his cheek and for once in his life, he wouldn't like to be anywhere else...not even underwater, he just wanted to be with you in that moment. As long as you'd let him.
The Magician's Box
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Lyney, Teyvat’s greatest magician, and his assistant Lynette are getting ready for a big show at the Opera Epiclese. Why is this show of such great importance? Because they have been personally invited by the Hydro Archon. Which is why it’s important for them to make a great impression. How so you might ask? By unveiling a new magic trick in this grand show, one involving a special magician's box. But what happens when the trick goes awry and traps you and the great magician Lyney inside with no escape?
Word Count: 2494
A/N: This is my second fic wrote/posted :>
A few days ago, you got a call from Lyney saying to come down to work and that he needs you immediately. You see, when you first moved to Fontaine you had trouble finding work that suited your interests and struggled with this problem time and time again. You were tired of working boring job after boring job. Afterall, you moved to Fontaine to get a sense of adventure and see the unexpected. You stayed in this uneventful job streak until you met him. It wasn’t until you met Lyney who offered you a job as a part of his stage crew that you were finally able to have the eventful thrilling job you’ve craved for so long. I mean, what can be more exciting than working for Teyvat’s most famous magician? This event was all three years ago, times have changed since then including the way you view the ashy blonde magician. In the beginning, all you held for him was admiration for how he gave you this job and for how committed he was to keeping the belief of magic alive in people's hearts. Along with this, you viewed him as a good friend who you just admired greatly. But slowly, your feelings for him shifted from friendly admiration into being totally absolutely in love with Lyney. Of course, you would never act on your feelings not wanting to spoil the friendship you have currently. But it doesn't hurt to daydream about being more than friends a bit. You can’t lie. When Lyney called saying he needs you immediately your heart skipped a beat. You know it's for work reasons but it doesn't hurt to imagine he actually needs you romantic wise? Getting your head out of the clouds, you quickly put on your coat and ran out the door into your workplace.
You stood there in your workplace, confused. Why were you the only one here? Where are Lynette and the rest of the crew? The main room was empty, which was no surprise since the big show was only a few days away, but something was off. There was a huge box standing in the middle of the room, covered by a long navy cloth. You were seriously confused, but before you could do anything, Suddenly, from behind the box, Lyney stepped out. He was the same as ever, with his ashy blonde hair covering a part of his face, his violet eyes that looked like amethysts, and his sweet smile and teardrop-stained mark on his face. This was Lyney—the Lyney that you had fallen in love with. “Mademoiselle, I’m glad you made it. You’re the only one who can help me with this task.” “What task would that be, great magician Lyney?” You said it with a teasing tone. “I’m glad you asked.” Then he grabbed the navy cloth and unveiled the box. You were surprised. The box looked ancient and was filled with dust and cobwebs. However, what stood out to you was the writing the box had in an unfamiliar language. “I remember you telling me you’ve studied many different languages, so I just thought maybe you would know what it says.” Oh. oh. So that’s what he needed you for. It was something only you could do, and you alone. You should’ve known better than to get your hopes up too high." Yup, I studied that type of writing a couple years ago, so my translating might be a little rusty. You walked closer to the box and put your fingers over the inscribed words. It says that this box is one that brings two.” “That’s quite the odd riddle. I’m not quite sure what the creator of this box meant to say. But the show must go on, so thank you for the help regardless, Y/N.” “I’m sorry that I couldn't be of more assistance, Lyney.” “Y/N It’s completely fine. Just you coming down here to help me on an off day means a lot to me.” “Lyney, if I may ask, what will this box be used for? Does it have to do with yours and Lynette’s grand performance at the Opera Epiclse?” “Yes, it does. I plan to teleport within the box. To have it move from the stage to the audience.” “Is that even possible? How would you do it, Lyney?” “A magician never reveals his secrets, as you’ll see at our show. Speaking about our show, here is this: With the flick of his hand, a VIP ticket to his grand magic show appeared. Please say you’ll come see me perform. You're my good luck charm  after all."It was true that every time you went to one of the twin magic shows, they would do outstandingly well; however, the one time you didn't, a trick went wrong and caused Lyney to quickly improvise the outcome. “For sure, I’ll be there. I wouldn't want to miss my two favorite twins magic performance.” You smiled and grabbed the ticket, and shortly after, you said your goodbyes to the violet-eyed magician and made your way home.
Fast forward to now, and it is the day of the twins' grand performance. You got there extra early because you were going to meet the twins backstage but not for the reason you usually do. Even though you usually help behind the scenes before and during shows, Lyney and Lynette had insisted that for this special show you should sit and watch as an audience member. This was because of the long time you had worked with them, for this special show they wanted you to see from the audience viewpoint how far they've come in the three years you've known them. However, Lynette called you the night before asking if you could visit her and Lyney backstage before the show started. Here you were, complying and reaching backstage. You opened the door and saw Lyney and Lynette. “Y/N, what are you doing here?” Said Lyney clearly filled with shock. “I invited her to come, she's your good luck charm after all.” Said Lynette nonchalantly. “I can leave if you guys are uncomfortable” Suddenly, Lyney grabbed my wrist exclaiming with a red blush spreading across his face. “No, I don't want you to go. I want you to stay here with me” “You want her to stay here, huh? Lynette broke out in a mischievous smile. If that's so, I’ll give you guys room to speak plus I need to check if everythings ready for the show.” Lynette then left the room with a small smile still on her face. “I didn’t mean for my words to come out like that, but I do want you here.” “I want to be here with you too Lyney.” A voice instantaneously announced through booming speakers “The show is about to start, please have the members of the audience start making it to their seats.” I put my arm behind my back, “I guess it's time for me to go, good luck on the show Lyney and send my support to Lynette as well.” “Thanks for your support Y/N. You're always showing your support for us and I just want you to know we feel the same for you.” He then flicked his wrist making a rainbow rose appear. This is for you Y/N. Please enjoy the show.” He then placed the rose in your hand. “Thank you, Lyney!” You walked out of the backstage area quickly and into your seat happily.
The audience area was packed. It was completely full, with local celebrities and journalists being placed among the audience. I guess it must truly be a big deal to be invited to perform by an archon. I sat down, fidgeting with the rainbow rose Lyney gave me. He’s never given these out at shows before or to anyone. “I wonder if that means this rose is important.” You had accidentally muttered that out loud, and before you could process anything, Charlotte, a journalist from the Steambird, spoke out. “That's a rainbow rose! Did the magician, Lyney, give you that? Those roses symbolize passion and romantic encounters! I’ve seen you two hanging out together often. Does that mean Lyney has found a partner?” She bombarded you with questions and facts. “Me and Lyney are not in a relationship. We’re just good friends who have known each other for years. He probably just gave me this rose by mistake; it's best not to look too deep into it.” I’m not sure why, but it felt as if my heart flinched saying that. Friends. Yeah, that's right, all we'll ever be is friends. You feigned a smile to Charlotte, to which she replied, "Oh, I see. Sorry for my intruding, but I truly do think the magician likes you.” Before you could respond, the speakers spoke once again, saying the show was beginning.
The magic show was the most captivating thing you had ever seen in your life. It had everything that made the twins special in it. It had things like simple hat tricks to complicated escape the box before you drown type of tricks. Finally, for the last trick of the show, it involved that special box. Lyney was talking up the crowd when Lynette brought the box out. But something still confused you, the words etched into it, “One brings two.” Before you could ponder more your thoughts were shattered by the sound of Lyney’s voice. “Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting the best trick I will perform tonight! I will go inside this box and teleport the box all the way onto the audience's side and appear on top of the box with a surprise in hand. This will all be done in under sixty seconds and I will have Lynette be the one locking the box and you my audience counting. I will now enter the box and Lynette will shut it closed.” Lynette came forward and locked the box having her key in hand then picking it up for the audience to see. Lynette then hyped the crowd up and began her countdown starting from sixty. All was well, with Lyney in the box until something strange happened.
You blinked, and then the next second you were in the box with Lyney, who had a panicked expression. “What’s going on?” You said with a puzzled expression, facing Lyney, who looked full of panic. “I-I’m not quite sure. The box should have let me out by now, and I should’ve been able to reach the roof of the box by now. But for some reason, I can’t.” I then tried to pull on the exit where Lyney was, but there was no luck. It wasn't letting me out either. “Do you think this has to do with the riddle of the box? The whole one brings two thing?” “Maybe, but what does that even mean?” "Well, you were one; the person in the box and you going in brought two, which was me.” “That’s a good point, Y/N, but what confuses me is how during practice no one else was brought into the box.” "Well, let's think rationally: why isn't this box letting us out? Wait, Lyney, would you say I'm special to you?” “Of course you're special to me, Y/N; you're my friend.” He spoke with hesitation, as if holding important pieces of information back. “No, Lyney, think deeper; why else would I have been brought to this box with you? Why me? If it was friend or familial feelings, Lynette or Freminet would’ve been brought here, but it was me. Why am I the one stuck in this box with you?” Lyney tucked his hat down, further covering his face apart from the hair streak doing so. Slowly, his hands started shaking, and his face turned beet red. “I’m not sure what you're implying, Y/N." He said it shakily. “Lyney, think about it, because only you would know. Why am I in this box with you? Maybe the one becomes two has to do with why I am in the box, and by finding out we can get out.” “Y/N, I have feelings for you. That’s why you're in this box with me. After you left that day, I kept thinking about the riddle, and a thought came across my mind that maybe it would bring the lover of the person who goes inside the box and force them to confront something. It was just a theory, and when I got in and couldn’t get out, my fears came true that you would be following me into the box. So now that you're here, it's all in the open now, I, Lyney, have feelings for you. For as long as I can remember, when you started working here, I fell in love with your viewpoint of life. I fell in love with your sense of adventure and your excitement for the things around you. How could I not have fallen in love with such a wonderful girl? I love you, Y/N, and I always have.” Looking at the boy now, he was still shaking and still red. He looked nervous, for sure, but somewhat relieved to get these feelings off his chest. “Lyney, I love you too. I always have since I started working here, seeing your attitude toward others and your craft. How could I also not fall in love with you?”
Suddenly, the box shot you and Lyney out. While being shot out, you could hear Lynette be on the number thirty, making you guess that within the box, time passes extremely slowly. Adjusting to your current surroundings, you see Lyney standing on top of the box. He was holding your bridal style with one hand, and with the other, he held a bouquet of roses. With a hand full of roses, he used it to wave to the audience as they all cheered and shouted for his spectacular performance. He then looked over at you, with roses in hand, and put them gently into your hands. “These are for you, Mademoiselle." He said it with a wink and a soft smile. “Thank you, Lyney.” You smiled softly at him. You’ll never forget this magic performance for the rest of your life. After all, it was the performance that made you and Lyney confess your feelings to each other.
Days passed by, and you are now in Fontaine, and more specifically, Fontaine University.
Why is this so big? Where is the cafeteria? Why were you to busy simping and asking him for his number to the tour guide during him touring you? Is tha— “Shit-“ While you were immersed in your thoughts, it seems you’ve bumped into a pair of siblings, well assuming that from their similar appearances.
“Oh, hello.” The male said as he helped you up from the ground
“I’m sorry! But, uh, do you happen to know where the cafeteria is?..” You awkwardly blurted out while looking at the male and the silent female. They looked pretty, like this angle is perfect for them- NO, no simping!
“It just so happens that me and my sister, Lynette is going right to the cafeteria! Would you like to walk there, my dear?”
“Huh… Lyney, I don’t think you should flirt with more people. I don’t think Father would be happy if you become a playboy here.” The once silent female butted in the conversation- her name is Lynette, right? And her brother is probably named Lyney. Such nice names-
Lyney’s voice snaps you out of your thoughts. “Oh, come on, Lynette. It’s nice to make friends.” Lyney said to his sister, before turning his attention back to you. “Now, would you like to walk there?”
“Oh! Uh… Of course!”
And just like that, you guys became friends.
——————————————————————————————————
It was a week after meeting Lyney and Lynette, and you heard about this new cafe open! You hurriedly ran there when you heard that it was cheap, but once you sat down, you were approached by a girl.
“Greetings, my name is Mona… So, I have this thing, where I report the future of successful people from Fontaine’s love life.” The girl- MONA said.
“Huh, why me? How would you know I’d be successful?” You asked her.
“I can tell you’re from Fontaine and my Scryglass says you will be successful!” This girl surely is very proud to be an astrologist…
“Oh, sure then…” It wouldn’t hurt to try, plus, you could find out if you actually could meet the love of your life.
And another friendship, Wow!
Mona did say you will meet your one true soulmate soon… I wonder who?
…That’s how you became friends with Freminet.
It’s been a few weeks, settling in your new college and apartment. You caught a glimpse of familiar blonde hair in the hallway
☆anyway never mind that let's go down a other roller coaster of tickles with genshin impact. I wanted to right for Kaveh but loss inspiration at the moment... so guys pls bear with me I'll be writing for sweet kaveh soon!
Warning spoilers for fontaine version 4.0!
Ps. Are my fics so bad that Lyney still refuses to come to me!!! I want him, so I'll keep on writing till he comes to me! Heck, his C3 sister is waiting too nyaaaahaaa~
Tumblr media
Magic is a performance of art with picturesque illusions. Lyney often became overwhelmed by Caeser's joy in magic as he taught him several aspects of it. Indeed, he began to love it as well... especially playing tricks on others' minds as he played on.
It'd often the smaller ones thst excited kids more. Picking mora from their ears, picking flowers out from under his cloak, he could fo ample things just to get the audience happy.
It's usually days when the big magic tricks would begin, most unexpectedly he feels nervous though he had a knack for avoiding troublesome thoughts. Only Lynette read him like a book...
"Lyney!"
The sharp tone made him look up instantly, startled by his loss of awareness as he was sipping tea at his place with the traveller. Freminet was missing as always, being engrossed in diving - perhaps he ought to learn how to relax from him as well.
Ever since the trial, he became anxious about doing grand performances. He did perfect it at practice, but...he was worried if someone would sabotage his show again and create another victim...
Seeing Aether tilt his head in question to ask how he's feeling, Lyney chuckled sheepishly. "Oh dear, sorry to zone out like this... I may have been preoccupied by the fact that Paimon's not tired of floating around"
"Hey, Paimon's floating his similar to you guys walking, you know!"
Seeing her indignant reaction, he thought he had drawn their attention away from him. Still, Lynette didn't even make an attempt to sound accusing as she calmly said, "You're rigid, brother... perhaps you're nervous after all"
"W-what..? Surely you jest... I'm just more concerned about Paimon's logic to floating, " his face darkened as he lowered his head to the side to avoid any misgivings though the opposite just convoluted.
"Hey, you better not mess with Paimon!" Paimon, being Paimon, ignorantly grumbled in her chirpy voice, sounding offended presumably. Still, Aether could sense his offensive tactic being seen through. He might find it more intriguing to see past the crumbling defence he built desperately...
He shook his head now. "Lyney, we're close enough to see through your act..."
"Ah, drats..." he smiled weakly, seeing how his sister and the traveller were onto him. Keeping his tea cup to its original place on the table, he began to reason.
Now his solid defence has a crack...
"Alright, alright, guys... I am human, so I'll admit I am nervous after the water tank incident, " he offered. Now Lynette stated slight concern in her cool tone,"It's not the same trick... so why are you that worried?"
Sighing, he bit his lip, as if he got scolded by a teacher, "Making mistakes, I guess?"
Aether noticed his stiffness. He could tell the young magician must have been traumatised by the death of Cowell. Either way, they came here to cheer him on. He wondered if he could do anything for him... something to perk him up.
"Lyney" Aether began now gesturing to Paimon. "Allow Paimon to massage your shoulders... to make you relax... she's good at that"
Paimon gasped at Aether audacity to make a request unbeknowst to her, "You little! Of course, you put this on Paimon...!"
Regardless, her starry gaze genuinely desired to help, so she began "Alright Lyney let Paimon loosen you up"
Lyney anxiously waved a hand. "Oh n-no need... It's not really necessary... I really don't have stiff shoulders..."
(Cute...)
Aether rolling his eyes said, "Come on Lyney, no more secrets its obvious they are stiff..."
Before Lyney could evade the offer, Paimon was already behind him. "Relaaax, Paimon is an expert masseur. She can make you lose your fears in a snap!" She removed the pegged Cape so easily, and began to descend.
Until he staggered away, immediately stiffened by her gentle fingers reaching for his shoulders.
"D-dont Paimon... its not necessary"
She couldn't even touch him when he slid off from the couch only to stand and face her, Paimon pouted "Awww but can't you trust Paimon?"
"I...uh... It's not t-trust..."
Lynette, seeing the obvious issue and she finally pointed out, "It's not you, Paimon. He's got ticklish shoulders..."
"Lynette!!"
The casual reply made him blush but only to let Paimon's curious eyes widen in wonder. She waves her arms in frantic excitement "Nooo way Lyney! You didn't tell us your ticklish!"
Extremely nervous, he lowered his hat to hide the blush "A-Arent we all Paimon...?"
Most of Paimon's giggled converted to menacing titters as she wiggled her fingers. "So come here and let Paimon make you relax in a better way"
He had not expected this situation to collapse on him like this. He backed a little too far to bump into a seated Aether's knees and fell, half on his lap.
"Oh dear my apologihihihiies -Wahahait!" He struggled to sit up and grab Aether's sneaking fingers prodding his sides.
His squeaks contagiously threatened to leave his lips as Aether was mischievous as well.
"Are the fatuus this weak to tickling? I must say that's a bit disadvantageous"
Paimon, floating towards Lyney's upper body, began to perform her special tickly massage on his shoulders "Waiit for Paimon Aether, she wants to tickle him too!"
"Ahahha guys plehehehease" he curled now bur Aether grabbed his hips and snickered at the stream of loud and sweet giggles, "as I was saying... we could make you spill any little secret from the house of the hearth right?"
"Ihihihin your dreheheeheams I'm nohohot thahahahat weheheheheak"
"Ahhh, tsk, tsk it's not about being weak... It's about how ticklish you are, " he taunted by kneading his ribs with pure intent to torture information out of him.
Poor Lyney, on the other hand, tried to roll to the ground, but Aether got up and pinned him further to the couch, now both of the ganging on him where he's cornered.
"Lynehehehehtte!" The twin sister peacefully finishes her tea before saying,"It's ironic how his worst spots are the most exposed areas. His armpits and thighs are pretty bad, you know"
Hearing this intel Paimon snickered "ehehehehe let Paimon excell her Paimonial wrath! Your armpits are Paimons now!!!" She charged in yo perfectly fit her small hands into his delicate armpits, she even blowed at his neck to make him squeal and hiccup into louder giggles and laughs.
"This was just to make you relax, so..." Aether teasingly swiped a finger over his thighs suddenly, making him shrill in shock and squeak, "Pleheheheease!"
"So no... at least not today, " he said this, and Paimon reluctantly backed off."That was for making fun of Paimon!"
Chuckling at her ridiculous high pitched complain Aether now cupped his cheeks to get a better look at his adorably blushing red face. "Teyvat to Lyney... you there~"
He still giggled as he said "Aaha yes, I must thank you, but... that was a bit much, wasn't it"
Meanwhile, Lynette coolly expressed, "Ignore him. He loves being tickled so you guys can knock yourselves out"
Lyney flustered now "Y-You can't just...!"
"Oh really?" Aether grabbed his shoulders now making him stiffen again "I thought I found a knot right here? Guess Paimon's masseur skills are still lacking"
"Hey!" One from Paimon.
"HEHehehey!" Another from a bewildered Lyney who giggled at the light touch now trying to move away.
"Ahahaha nohohot again! Nohohot thehehhe shoulders ahahahaha aehehehehther!"
"Let the magic begin!" Lynette smirked, joining the finale of wrecking her brother. None of them have the intention of letting Lyney go until he's cheered and satisfied.
Well... not that Lyney wanted it to stop... he liked this feeling...
”Magic and Desserts”
lyney x f!reader
chapter 2
Author’s note: This chapter got very delayed for which I am very sorry. A lot of things have happened in my personal life and some technical problems popped up in the process of editing the second part. Also just started working on the 3rd chapter!
word count: 2.2k
“‘Lyney, the..’ no way.. THAT WAS LYNEY ‘THE’ MAGICIAN??” you try to keep your voice down but the surprises just keep coming. Your brother hanging his had in disappointment but still smiling. “You are a lost cause. How can you forget his face?” he asks, looking at you under his brows. “I have only seen him ONCE. But he DID look familiar.” you taunted yourself with the image of his face while getting the coffees on the serving tray. “He invited me to go and see their show this Saturday. Can I go?” you asked quietly. “Well, their shows are a big deal and a lot of people will most likely be there to watch it. Hm, it’s too early to say, let’s wait some more, okay?” his ‘deep-in-thought’ face was on display, turning around so he can see the customers. “Okay.”
Thru the remaining week, your mind was occupied with the show and it’s needless to say your spacing out caused you some burns here and there while making new desserts. It was obvious to, your older brother, Arouet that you wanted to go and what else would he do besides leg you go and watch it. Once again, it’s needless to say your face lit up. The only thing he did is ask for your instructions of how to serve your sweets to the customers. “And there should always be a flower on the right side facing you, remember?” you were teaching you older brother the right way to decorate them with  dry edible flowers. “Is it that important?” he asked a bit confused with a sweat drop on his left cheek. “Well, the presentation is very important. It makes the customer more intrigued and-“ “Yea, yea I get it, it’s all manipulation of the mind and blah blah blah. Oh, look at the time, shouldn’t you be waiting for the Aqua bus already?” he cut you off and looked down at his watch. “Ah, you are right! Don’t forget how to tuck in the napkins!” you remind after taking your basked beside the inside counter and coat from the installed hanger near the door. “I won’t, now sho!” he yelled at you while crossing his arms and smiling warmly.
As Lyney peaked out behind the red velvety curtains to spy on his audience he noticed your place was still empty. A little sigh escaped his lips, but the show had to start soon and even if he wanted to - he couldn’t wait for you to show up much longer.
“Greetings, ladies and gentleman! This evening we are here to appreciate the great show that Lynye and Lynette have prepared for us!” the showman introduced the young twins and the curtains were going upstairs. Him and his sister were holding their arms together up in the air, chests puffed out and hands holding together in a lock. People were cheering and clapping loudly getting up from their seat, impatient as to what was awaiting them! And just then, in the middle of that chaos, your figure appeared on top of the staircase that was too, covered in a red coloured carpet. Even if nobody noticed, his eyes softened with relief. As you walked down, you were also looking around to find your seat. It was just right next to the steps. Quite convenient as you needn’t go through people’s seats and bother them with going right in-front of their view.
“Thank you, thank you! It’s our pleasure to have such pleasant people here to watch our magic show!” the audience died down now seated and waiting for what Lynye has to say. “I am sure you all know that a magician’s most recognisable feature is his hat.” he says, lifting his own hat up from his head “So I could like to start with showing you what a magician can fit..” he pats it on it’s bottom in attempt to make something fall from it “..into this tiny space. But first, so you can believe the reality of all this I will be needing an assistant that will be one of you” kids and adults started waving their hands and yell ‘Me! Me!’ to signal him that they wanted to participate. Lyney mimicked a ‘thinking hard’ face with his hand on his chin, squinted eyes and a pout, walking in circles around the stage. “Hmmmm, who should I choose? All of you look like worthy candidates!” he said thoughtfully and then his eyes landed on you, who was quietly sat. “Ah, why such a young lady not raising her hand! Aren’t you exited?” the magician questioned. Now all eyes of the auditorium were on you. “What do you all say, why don’t we show this young lady what a magic show is about?” he turned to the rest of the audience. Screams of excitement started to echo between the wall of Opera Epiclese, hyping you to go and take part in the show. You were nervous, but thought it could be rude to you refused so you got up from your seat and started making your way to the podium. “Everybody, please, let’s encourage her with applause!” and clap sounds filled the air. All of this made you more nervous and just as you started to walk up the stairs you tripped on the next step. Blush from embarrassment appearing on your cheeks, Lyney crouched down as to make sure you didn’t hit yourself, lending you a hand. “Now, now! We don’t want for you to get hurt!” he smiled softly, looking up, you grabbed his hand and he helped you up. “Why don’t you introduce yourself?” he smiles at you, leading you to the centre of the podium “My name is [name].” you say quietly, smiling and facing him. “Alright [name], hold my hat.” he hands you his hat “Now look inside. Tell us, do you see anything inside?” you looked inside and it was empty “There is nothing in here.”. In the crowd there were people saying ‘Show us!’ so they were sure you weren’t lying. “Now Miss [name], show it to the audience so they can make sure too.” as he instructed you clasped it on the bottom and started to show the crowd turning it from the left to right and back to left. “Was there anything?” he asks again and everyone yells out a ‘NO!’ “Heh, sounds like I can show you the first trick then! Please hold the hat upside down.” you do as you are told. While you and everyone else were waiting he somehow managed to summon a magic wand in this hand by simply shaking it, he then bends down a little bit and gently did circles around the hat’s hole with it. “Hmm what were the magic words again?” he hums out, hand rubbing his chin, looking like he was in deep thought. Everyone started to laugh at his word, you cracked up a bit and laughed out loud too. “Shouldn’t a magician practice his magic before a show?” you ask him lightheartedly, still smiling, to which he responds with “Oh I did so many times but your beauty suddenly made me forget every single magic trick I know!” he winks a bit and cocks his head on the side. You blushed, wide eyed, not expecting this response.
While you were in shock he loudly remarked “Hmmm, ah yes! Alta Vola!” and suddenly 7 white doves flew out of his hat. One of them accidentally hit you with it’s wing on your face, which caused you to drop the hat to hold where the dove had hit you. When his cylinder hat hit the floor a rabbit came crawling out of it! Lynette started to run after it to catch the fluffy animal. The whole audience started to laugh not expecting this to happen. “Oh no, Miss [name], are you alright? Here have a napkin!” he theatrically said and started to go thru his pockets, all of a sudden, he started to pull out a tin rope from one of them. One, two, tree pulls and still no napkin was found but only rope came out. “Uhh, could you mind to help me?” Lyney looked at you with a pleading look on his face, “Of course.” you took the rope in one hand and still held your face with the other. You tugged on it as he started to walk backwards. Then the rope has finally come out completely, there was something tied on it. He picked it up, untied it and neatly showed it to the audience. It was a napkin and on it was his face with the tongue out. Laughter erupted again in the air, even you’ve forgot about the hit that dove have you. He then folded it, clasped your hand and put it in yours “Here. Take it as a gift, no need to bring it back to me.” Lyney smiled sweetly, it almost made you blush from his gentle touch on your hand. “You may now take your seat, thank you for participating in these tricks!”
After the magic show you were waiting for a meet up for them. It took them a while to showed up. “Hey, Lynette ‘n’ Lyney!” you greeted, happily and a bit nervous to see them face to face. “I am sorry if I caused you some trouble during them show.” you clutched your basket’s handle. “Don’t worry, there was nothing wrong you did.” Lynette reassured, “If anything, I think you made the show even better! I just hope the dove didn’t hit you in your eye, did it do so?” worry could be heard in her brother’s voice. “Ah, no it didn’t hit me in the eye, just below it.” you even pointed where exactly and if they looked really hard there would be seen a little red spot. Now trying to gather some courage to keep the conversation going you started to play with the handle of your basket. “And also..” putting it down on the table, you started to rummage thru it and held out to them two things in your palms “I have made you some desserts. It’s Lynette’s favourite type of mousse, but I hope you like it too, Lyney.” you handed it to them carefully and with a little awkward smile. “Thank you, [name].” Lynette said now fascinated by your thoughtfulness and carefully observing the dessert. “Oh, [name], thank you! You shouldn’t have, really.” Lyney looked surprised at your gift, not really expecting it. “Maybe I shouldn’t have but I couldn’t help myself. I really hope you like it.” you said, embarrassed a little if it was really uncalled for to bring them dessert. Now it will be even more embarrassing to ask them to return the complex design, crystal-glass, dessert bowls whenever they could. But as per always, the male twin observed them and asked you right after “These bowls look very beautiful. I suppose you use them at the caffe?”. Honestly his sharpness made you question if he read your mind but answer the question “Yes I did them yesterday after we closed. We rarely use them and I decided that it would be nice to put them at use.” gentle smile appeared on your face thinking of it. Lynette, while the two of you were talking, actually have already started her mousse (she pulled out a little spoon she always carries around for special occasions like this one) and enjoying it quite a lot as she listed to you.
Some time has gone by. You and Lyney were talking about different topics and simply didn’t notice how late it have gotten. During one of your sentences, you happened to yawn and when your eyes were finally not looking at him, you noticed how the sky got dark blue. Your stunned expression shifted to one of worry really fast after realising you might have missed your Aqua Bus. Lyney noticed that but before he could speak, you were looking at your pocket watch “Oh no, I am going to miss the Aqua Bus!”. In panic, you jumped up all of a sudden, looking around to gather your things. Lyney also arose from his seat, looking around to help you with something but you were ready and started to run towards the big doors at the Opera Epicles. Already out and about to get on the bus, Lyney shouted for you from the entrance of the Opera “[name]!”. Your head snapped back and looked at him, his gaze now was softer “Thank you for today.”. His warm smile made you calm down. “Today was wonderful..” you said, smiling widely, now that you recall everything from today. Quickly, you began to climb up the stairs of the Aqua bus. The boy stared at you, as if he was in a trance. The bus started to move and you looked back to check if he was still there and surely he just stood there. You raised your hand to wave him goodbye, the force of the wind behind you, making your hair gently fly around. Lyney raised his and waved back. He stood there, his arm slowly falling down to rest. Lynette was standing far behind him and observed everything, but now she was slowly making her way to her brother. Standing on his left she eyed him to see his expression. Just as she expected- he was blushing, eyes big and lips slightly parted. A little huff left her and after a second she spoke “You are a lost cause.”
Let Them Talk
Pairing: Arlecchino x Furina
Tags: Party, Dancing, Slow Dancing, Ballroom Dancing, Cake, Vaginal Fingering, Love Bites
Summary:
Neuvillette is throwing a ball to recognize Furina's contributions to the Nation of Justice and there's only one requirement: The former hydro archon needs a dance partner. With so many big names already taken, who will she choose?
Read on Ao3
“…and that is why I am holding a ball in your honor, Lady Furina.”
The former archon blinked, unsure she had just heard Neuvillette correctly.
“Haha…I’m sorry, what? Monsieur Neuvillette, are you not aware I’m no longer the archon of this nation? Why ever would you do such a silly thing?”
Upon being freed of her role as archon, Furina had tried to live a quiet life. She no longer yearned for the spotlight, and the iudex of all people should have known this. The last thing she wanted was to have to attend an event where she’d be the center of attention.
“It’s really not necessary. I’ve played my role and now all I want”
“I’ll hear none of it, Lady Furina. You’ve dedicated your entire existence to the people of Fontaine. Now, it’s our turn to thank and celebrate you,” he interrupted. “Oh…and did I mention there will be cakes from all over Teyvat imported for the event?”
The former archon’s eyes lit up. “Really?”
“As much as you can eat. But be careful not to overindulge. You’ll need to be able to dance.”
She looked at him skeptically. “With you?”
“Ha! Goodness, no. I’m already spoken for. The event won’t be held for another few weeks. I suspect you’ll find someone who’ll be more than willing. Pick out a dress from Chioriya Boutique - my treat. Tell her to send the bill directly to me.”
————————
Furina spent the next few days in her apartment mulling over possible partners, growing wearier with each impossible choice.
Navia and Clorinde will undoubtedly attend together. That’s a no-brainer. Chiori is always in that on-again, off-again fling with Chevreuse. Charlotte seems to be getting closer to Lynette…I’m running out of options…
And that’s when it hit her. She was a new woman, no longer held down by the shackles of what the citizens would think. Free to do whatever she pleased, and to pursue whoever she found interesting. Her self-esteem had been lower than ever after losing her lofty position, but as the days went on, she found herself adopting a more daring attitude.
She knew exactly who she’d ask to be her date.
——————-
“I must admit, Lady Furina, I’m a little perplexed as to why you’d choose me, of all people.”
The Knave sat across from her at the small dining room table, sipping tea the girl had prepared especially for this occasion.
“Lady Arlecchino, I realize we’ve had our own little…misunderstandings in the past. But now that you know the whole story - my story - I hope you’ll forgive me for bending the truth in our previous discussions.”
The woman shrugged. “Water under the bridge. What’s done is done, and life moves on whether we want to or not.”
“I’m happy to hear you see it that way. So? What do you say? Will you be my partner for the event?”
The harbinger’s index finger circled the edge of the cup as she contemplated the invitation. “I’m hesitant for one reason only - I can’t imagine being seen with me will do your reputation any favors. Why me?”
Furina had been ready for this question. “I’ve spent my entire life caring about what the public thought about me. Frankly, after 500 years of watching my back, I’m exhausted. At one point, you used to frighten me. Now, what have I to fear? You’re the only one who ever dared to stand up to me and speak your mind. I find that…enticing.”
Arlecchino cocked her head to the side as she gave her reasoning some thought. “Fair point. I’ll collect you at eight on the night of the event. Don’t keep me waiting.”
———————
The dazzling aquamarine dress she’d picked out from Chioriya Boutique fit her surprisingly well. It hugged her petite frame perfectly, accentuating her feminine qualities without being overly revealing.
A knock came at her door at eight o’clock sharp. She took a deep breath and grabbed the handle.
The former archon was incapable of speech at the sight of her partner. The Knave looked striking in her flawlessly tailored tuxedo, accented with a blood-red vest and pocket square. The harbinger looked her date up and down, a smile slowly creeping across her face.
“Good evening, Lady Furina. I trust you’re ready?”
“Y-yes…ready as I’ll ever be, I suppose,” she murmured as she took her hand and left her apartment.
—————————-
Neuvillette’s voice boomed as soon as the couple walked through the threshold of the Palais Mermonia. The administrative building had been beautifully decorated, no doubt with the help of Sigewinne and Wriothesley, who stood at the iudex’s side.
Ah, so that’s what he meant when he said he was spoken for. Good for them.
“Mesdames et Messieurs,” he began. “I’d like to welcome our guest of honor - Lady Furina, who is accompanied tonight by Lady Arlecchino, head of Fontaine’s own House of the Hearth.”
A hush fell over the crowd. It was clear the audience was in shock. Citizens turned to each other, obviously whispering their thoughts to those they came with. Desperate to divert their attention, Neuvillette cleared his throat loudly.
“Lady Furina, this night is for you - for your service to the Nation of Justice, I, and everyone here, express our sincerest gratitude for your tireless work and sacrifice.”
The crowd snapped out of their trance and erupted in applause. Furina smiled brightly, grateful he had changed the subject.
“Thank you, thank you, all! It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve you. But enough of the formalities. It’s time to party! What’s the saying? Ah, yes. Let them eat cake!”
A chorus of laughter relieved her nerves and made her feel much more comfortable. After greeting some familiar Fontainian faces, the former archon headed straight for the dessert table. She sampled a variety of sweets and was thankful she hadn’t fought Neuvillette about hosting the event.
The band playing in the background shifted from upbeat party music to something slower and more intimate. Arlecchino suddenly extended her hand. “May I have this dance?”
Furina smiled softly at her as she took it. “Well, since you asked so nicely…”
Making their way to the floor, she quickly glanced around and noticed the other couples were much more engrossed in each other than watching her every move. She could feel her shoulders relax as the harbinger took her in her arms.
It felt…nice. Although the woman was fierce in both battle and politics, seeing this side of her actually drew Furina in more. Being this close to her - smelling the musk of her perfume, feeling the warmth of her body held closely against her own - made her start to think there might be more to this than just a desire to not attend the event alone.
“Something on your mind, droplet?” She asked as she swayed them both back and forth.
The former archon blushed at the strange but fitting term of endearment. “Oh…nothing. I was just…thinking about how delicious the cake was, is all.” The Knave chuckled at her answer.
“Remind me to never deny you your sweets.”
Perhaps it was a sugar rush or maybe the two and a half glasses of fine Mondstadt Dandelion Wine she had downed, but the girl was feeling bold. Standing on the balls of her feet, she got as close to the other woman’s ear as possible. “Then I ask you not to deny me the chance to partake of something even sweeter. I’m going to head up to what used to be my office here. Wait about fifteen minutes and then come find me.”
The song came to an end, and the former archon excused herself, leaving a very confused Arlecchino in her wake.
The scenarios that had crossed the harbinger’s mind as she walked to the second floor could not have prepared her for what she found waiting for her.
“That was closer to twenty minutes, but I’ll forgive you,” Furina teased as she greeted her from the large plush couch toward the back of the room. She had shed her dress and was wearing nothing but a sapphire set of lingerie that left little to the imagination.
“You naughty little thing. You had this planned the whole time, didn’t you?” Arlecchino approached with a look in her eyes that betrayed the fact she was about to devour her.
“Hmm…Chiori did say I’d be impossible to resist if I wore this. And here I was thinking she was just trying to make an easy sale.”
“Consider me sold.”
The Knave pounced, the arm of the sofa serving as a perfectly placed pillow for the woman now underneath her. Their mouths clashed, and Arlecchino could taste the saccharine remnants of rich frosting on her tongue.
Furina moaned, desperate to rid the other woman of her stuffy clothing. Her hands worked quickly to undo buttons and shove the remaining fabric off her body. The harbinger shivered at the feel of the former archon’s fingers against her skin.
Arlecchino palmed her lover’s breasts, relishing the sound she made and secretly hoping this wouldn’t be the first and only time they’d do this.
“I hate to cut this short, but we do have a party to get back to. Are you ready for me, dear?”
“Archons, yes…I’ve been ready since you came to pick me up tonight. How could I not be when you look that dashing?”
The Knave pulled her up and positioned her to straddle her. Yanking the crotch of her panties to the side, she expertly slid two fingers inside of her.
Furina’s head tilted back as she adjusted to the intrusion. “Ohhhhhh yessssss…”
Arlecchino latched onto her neck, the vibration of the girl’s moans tickling her lips. The former archon matched the thrust of her fingers as she grabbed the harbinger’s shoulders for support. Her hips rocked at just the right angle to stimulate her clit as she raced toward her climax.
“That’s right…come on my fingers…that’s a good girl…”
“Arle…fuck…oh…yessssss!”
The girl collapsed completely spent against her. The other woman rubbed her back in reassuring circles as she soothed her. When Furina finally got the strength to look up, she watched mesmerized as the Knave licked her fingers clean.
“Much sweeter than any piece of cake downstairs. I do suppose it’s time for us to make a reappearance, don’t you?”
“Not before I return the favor,” the former archon said before she started to unlatch Arlecchino’s belt.
“Archons, Furina, we’ve already been gone too long…”
“Oh, shut up and let me do this. How long could it take when I know you’re already wet for me?” Her hand slipped inside the harbinger’s slacks and Arlecchino let out a deep moan as she felt her fingers slide against her slick heat.
“Fuck…droplet…”
Furina felt the swollen bud against her fingertips and worked it slow and steady. The Knave gripped her hips to ensure her nails wouldn’t rip a hole in the expensive-looking couch they were seated on.
“I think you wanted this just as bad as I did. You can drop the frightening fatui harbinger front. Let me hear you whine and beg for me to make you come.”
“You’re diabolical…you know that?” The other woman panted as she felt the former archon increase her pressure and pace.
“Ah, ah, ah! That’s not what I wanted, Knave.
“Please…fuck, Furina, you’re driving me crazy…please let me come…”
Her fingers moved faster and Arlecchino’s breath came in short, breathless pants.
“Haa…haaa…archons…harder…oh FUCK!” She shouted as the girl finally let her have her orgasm.
The two sat against one another as they attempted to recover from the night’s excursions. When they caught their second wind, they stood and began to dress.
“Would you be a dear and get my zipper?” Furina asked. Arlecchino was happy to oblige. The former archon twitched as she felt her fingers brush the base of her neck.
“Um…droplet…you’re going to want to borrow my jacket. I may have…gotten a bit carried away.”
“What do you…oh my archons!” She turned scarlet as she caught sight of herself in the mirror. A very large bruise from a love bite at the base of her throat had started to turn a deep shade of purple. Before the woman could drape her blazer over her, Furina pushed it back toward her.
With a sly grin that would fit a harbinger rather than the leader of a nation, she said, “You know what? Let them talk.”
