The original Hebrew text of the Bible was never against gay people!! There was simply a mistake in translating to Greek (the language the rest of the Bible was in) it stated either man cannot lay with boy or man cannot lay with child. I can’t remember. So it’s anti pedophilia not being gay!!

There’s actually a bit of misinterpretation in modern translations of the Bible (shocker I know), but there’s actually a really interesting difference in the book of Psalms specifically. Old Hebrew poetry actually has a couple different structures that are unique to that language and time, most relying on the idea of parallelism. A lot of Hebrew poetry would be considered a bicolon or tricolon. Each colon (or segment of the full phrase) would mirror the other colons in structure. An example of a bicolon would be “You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).”
