“ very funny, ” he replies with a short laugh as he descends the few steps from the academy to join leon on the road. it was an ongoing bit, band he didn't really mind it. he doubted viktor would appreciate it very much, but he doubted it would come up around him anyways. so he figured it was i n n o c e n t enough not worry about. fingers shift to loosen the cuffs of his jacket as he adds dryly, “ he's staying behind. ”

jayce takes in a breath as he pauses next to the other, taking a glance in the direction they'd be going momentarily. for he briefest of moments he wonders if this is a mistake. “ are you ready to go ? ”
