Welcome! This is my side project I've started while Widespot is on a (potentially) fried computer- a legacy starring Kaylynn Langerak.

I'm using @gutosimmer 's Early Pleasantview, so we're starting with her as a teen (and a lot of the face meshes have been tweaked/altered to gutosimmer's preferences; I might do a little Alt Sim Surgery to get the Maxis vibes back).

I'm also playing with @lazyduchess ' Story Progression, so sims should age as time passes.

right now the goal is to keep Kaylynn as the hero of her own story, even if that story is a legacy- she is NOT going to be stuck between Don Lothario and Daniel Fucking Pleasant.

On top of that, my other goal is to keep things fairly strictly Maxis match- I'm using Pooklet textures on BG meshes for hair, and I defaulted out skin/eyes, but for clothes I'm trying to stick to @ts2repositoryproject and for decor I'm trying to stick pretty strictly to Maxis items, with Castaway/Life Stories conversions thrown in. I may bend the rules to throw in some mesh edits, clothing defaults, and 3t2/4t2 conversions in future, because ... yeah.... but for now, I'm trying to stick with Maxis only.

We'll see how this goes! Hopefully my computer is unfried soon, but for now, I like Kaylynn a lot.

sim state round 1 // pleasant twins, freshman/sophomore years

(i had to check a thing at the pleasant house and angela suddenly had the want to go to college so i said Nice and sent her away. since she had an A she got an extra §1000 for her first semester)

when the girls moved to the very imaginatively named “another small dorm w/ 5 rooms” and claimed their rooms they both had a little makeover because for starters i figured that now that they were far from their parents��� influence for the first time in their lives they wouldnt keep the identical haircuts and stuff

specifically i felt like lilith would cut her hair short in college

i also randomized their gender preference bc again i figured that since they were now independent for the first time in their lives they would definitely do some self reflection especially since neither dustin nor dirk would be there for the first couple of years

both angela and lilith chose drama as their major. daniel happens to be a drama major too so theres a nice runs-in-the-family thing here

the girls also got very into painting and covered most of their bills by selling the paintings they made

and lilith got very interested in her dormie, the big man on campus, milton patton? their names are randomized and i never remember anyone beyond a “oh hey its this guy” level

anyway they fell in love and i guess well see if its just a college fling or something deeper

angela and liliths relationship also got significantly better during their first years at uni

they started rolling these wants to talk to a relative at one point and had long and fruitful conversations + they usually ate together too and were otherwise not spending very much time around each other, each focusing on her studies and advancing her skills and stuff

however as we know even though their everyday relationship got pretty high pretty fast, their lifetime relationship takes more time to get better, so occasionally they still fought. it happens less and less now though

angela however got herself a new enemy whose name is cheri warner in this particular version of sim state. like i love the dormies and all but i can never remember their names cos theyre randomized with each new sim state

also - angela got to know her own big man on campus, the frat boy joshua ruben. they went on a date and had a wonderful time
