BellarkeFanworkAwards 2017

Hi everyone, 

As some of you may know, I was fortunate enough to be nominated for the BellarkeFanworkAwards on Tumblr. I was so honoured to have all of my eligible Bellarke works nominated 18 different times. I was nominated in Most Underrated Work in Progress, Best Hurt/Comfort Work in Progress, Best Fake Relationship Fiction (Trope), Best Canon One-shot, Best Hurt/Comfort and Angst One-shot, Most Underrated One-shot, Best Canon Drabble, Best Hurt/Comfort Drabble, Best Canon Author, Most Underrated Author, Best Up and Coming Author, Best Angst Author, and Most Creative Author. It was so great as a new Bellarke writer to be nominated so many times and I am so thankful I have such a wonderful bunch of readers to go out of their way to do this. 

That being said, something has happened during Round 1 of voting and also during the nomination process that I need to talk to you guys about. It has come to the attention of the individual running the BellarkeFanworkAwards that many of the nominations and votes for me and my works were doctored. This became apparent early in the nomination round. Nearly identical nomination forms were submitted multiple times in a short period of time. It became apparent that something fishy was happening during the voting round. Nearly identical voting forms were submitted as well. The individual in charge determined that the contest was being thrown, as multiple forms had voted only in categories I was nominated in, only for my work, and (in the cases where multiple stories of mine were nominated in the same category) the same story was being chosen over and over. All of these signs are large red flags. 

I have spoken to the individual in charge over this matter. We have determined that this damage was done from what looks to be a single person, most likely an over-eager fan. It is at this point that I want to make it clear that this was not done by me, as I am completely against cheating in any form. To me, the BellarkeFanworkAwards were about promoting my stories and introducing myself into the Bellarke and “The 100” fandom in a positive way. I truly did not care about winning or losing. Not only does cheating go against my morals, but it harms the fellow fics/authors I was nominated with and BellarkeFanworkAwards in general. I would like to win fairly, or not win at all. 

To uphold the integrity of the awards, the individual in charge of the BellarkeFanworkAwards has decided to disqualify my work from all categories that were already voted on in Round 1. This includes my nominations in the categories of Most Underrated Work in Progress, Best Hurt/Comfort Work in Progress, Best Fake Relationship Fiction (Trope), Best Canon One-shot, Best Hurt/Comfort and Angst One-shot, Best Canon Drabble, Most Underrated Author, Best Angst Author, and Most Creative Author. I fully support this decision. There must be extreme actions taken against doctored votes and cheaters, as it is completely unacceptable. I do not want to be apart of cheating. I do not want to win unfairly. I do not want to damage these awards that someone has put blood, sweat and tears into creating. I do not want to hurt the other fics/authors I was nominated with. They all deserve a fair competition.

I was graciously offered to retain my nominations that have not already been voted on. This would have included my nominations in the categories of Most Underrated One-shot, Best Hurt/Comfort Drabble, Best Canon Author, and Best Up and Coming Author. I would like to express my gratitude towards the individual in charge of BellarkeFanworkAwards for allowing me to compete, but I have decided to withdraw completely from this year’s awards. I do not want to further risk the BellarkeFanworkAwards of 2017. I have no way of stopping what happened in Round 1 from happening again in Round 2 or Round 3, and, therefore feel like it is best to remove myself from competition. 

To my fellow nominees, please accept my apology. I am sorry that there have been doctored votes for me and I am sorry that this has put the BellarkeFanworkAwards at risk. Good luck in the rest of the competition! 

To the individual in charge of the BellarkeFanworkAwards, I am very sorry for the headache and harm this has caused you and your event. I am appreciative for the time and effort you have put into these awards and apologize profusely that my works have jeopardized this. 

To the voters, please don’t cheat. It causes more harm than good, as you can tell by this post. Not only can it cause the whole competition to be skewed, but it can (and has) resulted in disqualifications, risked damage to my reputation, and has hurt me. I have spent seven years building a name for myself and my reputation in the world of fanfiction in several different fandoms. Not only did the doctored votes put the whole competition at risk, but it has also risked tarnishing my hard work over the past seven years. 

I am very disappointed that this whole situation has happened. Yes, it would have been an honour to win, but I am only interested in a fair competition. This is supposed to be for fun – that’s what fanfiction is all about. Cheating only takes this fun away from everybody involved with the BellarkeFanworkAwards. I encourage you to keep on voting for your favourite fics in these awards (but fairly). 

Thank you for reading this very long letter. Also, a big thank you to everyone for understanding that this situation was outside of my control, but I will do everything in my power to fix it. Thank you for understanding. I would also like to add my heartfelt thanks to the legitimate people that have nominated, voted, and supported my work. I am still very honoured to have been nominated. - Back at EAH Her BFFA Dawn White(Daughter of the White Queen) was bullied by Apple, she tried her best to protect her BFFA but was pushed away by Apple a lot by just reminding her that she's just a "daughter" of the Elves(her family's story was The Elves and The Shoemaker) but one day she snapped at Apple for not caring anyone's destiny including her BFFA Briar's destiny and how Raven would've been the better Snow White than her.

- When she learns that she’s Maleficent’s descendant and Malleus’s younger twin sister, she was confused she thought that she was the Elves’s daughter until it was point out by the Mirror that she’s adopted.

- When she got sorted into Diasomnia, she felt nervous but slowly getting comfortable

- She loved the dorm’s atmosphere but flustered being called "Lady Rosalina” or “Rosalina-sama” from her dormmates, mostly from Sebek.

- When she met Malleus and learn their siblings she was shy towards him and often avoid him due to Malleus's sadness as he wanted to bond with her as her older twin brother.

- Rose was surprised to find out despite being a powerful Fae Malleus was a soft person, she apologize to him about avoiding him and the more she get to know him the more she became genuinely close to him.

- When Malleus and Lilia finds out about her Unique Magic they decided to train her to become stronger.

His skin is marked with a array of calluses and scars, white against his tanned skin, and the deft, sure movements he makes confirms that he’s every inch the warrior he’s promised to be. Swallowing, she steps forward, meeting his gaze. His face remains carefully blank, same as before, when Kane had told her that they’d be married. In hindsight, marrying a total stranger may not have been one of Clarke's brightest ideas.
