vegetarianism is sooo easy tbh (for tacos i don't even bother w tofu, just get beans and tomatoes and cheese and it's perfect) (and hey forget tacos CHEESE QUESADILLAS EXIST)

i've never had a cheese quesadilla, just chicken.  I'll have to try that though.

i like some varieties of veggie burger, some of them are pretty nasty though. would the texture of the tofu not really resemble the meat though?

the texture would be different, but the taste would be comparable and that's what i care about most.  idk.

i am so fascinated by scottstiles because it's not as much a case of best friends falling in love as best friends being in love the whole time because hello they're best friends, and literally everything about this relationship fascinates me??? like how they're - not exactly opposites, but balanced, you know, how scott's kindness fills out stiles' cruel parts, how stiles keeps scott grounded and how scott helps stiles let go, how they work in sync pretty much all the time (sidebar: SCOTT AND STILES IN A JAEGER THO). and i can't help but think that a lot of that is because they've adapted and grown around each other, they've spent so much of their developing years together, best friends against the world, that they would unconsciously adapt so that they work best that way. 

and then they just??? love each other so much?????? like it's bone deep, really, it's a fact of life, so it goes unnoticed, in a similar way to how people don't walk around going HEY, THE SKY IS BLUE!!!! but the sky is blue, it's always been blue, it's unthinkable that it could be anything but blue. it doesn't need vocalising, but sometimes it does, sometimes terrible things happen and the ground is pulled out from under your feet and you stare your demons down second by agonising second, wondering all the while when you're going to crack, when you'll finally falter and look away and the monsters under your bed will take their horrifyingly real forms and you'll die, you'll lose everyone you love, there will be nothing but darkness. and the person who essentially functions as your counterpoint, the north pole to your south, the sun to your moon, can only really remind you that some things are certain, and they're that the sky is blue, the grass is green, "scott you're my best friend, and i need you", "stiles, this is real, you're here with me", i love you. and i just - there's something about that, the way i think we only ever catch glimpses of this overwhelming affection that they have for each other, that just gets me, ugh.

and then oh gosh oh gosh then there's the way i bet they would slip into a romantic relationship so easily, and there's so many ways this story could go, whether it's awkward first kisses at thirteen, stiles' braces getting in the way and teeth knocking together, awkward laughter after and stolen glances and they don't really mention it again, but they think about it, or whether it's the heart-stop frantic terrified adrenaline of the near-death situations that seem to stalk them nowadays, the moment after scott's cuts start healing over slowly and he shudders in a breath, eyes opening blearily and seeing stiles first, and how can he not lean down and bury his face in the place where his neck and shoulder meet, turning it inwards so he's basically kissing his neck, and scott pulls away slightly and turns his face so their lips meet before stiles can panic about it, and when they pull away he cracks that crooked sunbright grin of his and stiles laughs, and it's the most alive he's ever felt, to be honest. or maybe it's neither of those - maybe it's just late, one night, and stiles is waiting for the popcorn to start popping, perched up on the counter and thinking about the films they've got lined up, a marathon of marvel movies or something probably, and he doesn't even really pay attention when scott hops up next to him, only blinking and turning around when he knocks his shoulder companionably into stiles', and when scott leans in, it's as if this happens every day, and though his heart is basically beating out of his chest when they pull apart, looking intently at each other, the microwave dings before he can say something terrible and sentimental and he just grins, jumping down and getting the popcorn and talking about what he'd been thinking before, something about how they should totally start at the end and work backwards this time, get a real feel for the character development, and it'd be like nothing had changed if he hadn't grabbed onto scott's hand, if he wasn't holding it tight like he's afraid it might slip out of his grasp, so scott just kinda smiles at their hands where they're linked and nods at whatever stiles is saying.

and oh lord this isn't even the half of it and it's all terrible meg how did i fall into the mess that is this show how did i end up emotioning about these stupid characters why do i still care so much
