UGANDA 🇺🇬 there are no words or pictures to fully articulate the past two weeks. The hardest part of my journey (whether it has been food, fitness, or really anything in my life) has been taking the focus off the outer layer. I know that I look fitter than a year ago. I know how to make a salad and talk about how yummy it is. I know how to tell and show others that I am working hard and that I have everything under control. But those are all just the siding of the house. The hardest part of my journey has been looking at the inside of my life. Am I really committing to my programs? Am I actually giving my friends/family/career my 100%? Do I actually take care of myself physically AND mentally? It's my challenge to look beyond how "pretty" I want others to see me and my life, and figure out how to be the best person I can be.
