This particular pressing is on my HIGH want list. It’s the “Alice In Chains - – Nothing Safe; Best of the Box” pressed in China. • I like collecting all the different versions because of the sometimes noticeable, yet slight differences. Some can be detected right away - like this one. And others may be exact, except for the location of where the CD/Vinyl or cassette were manufactured or pressed. Although I don’t have a lot of extra time to go through what I’ve collected, when I decide to look at something, it’s usually spur of the moment. OR, I’m going to post something and need additional info. I’ve still not catalogued my collection on paper; but it is on Discogs website. I believe I’ve mentioned that site many times in the past, but it’s a wonderful marketplace to find, buy or sell. I’ve been collecting AiC items for 30+ Years now. One of the items I’ve managed to collect over the years are the network radio programs like Westwood One’s In Concert series, etc. even the unobtainable 1999 Rockline radio show that Layne called in on (that was a true God Send to find). Then I finally found this one which was recorded about 2 weeks prior to that July 1999 Rockline show. This was SFX Networks “Nothing Safe: Best of the Box”. I searched everywhere and I finally got it. One of my all-time favorite Seattle DJ’s hosted this radio show - her name is Cathy Faulkner @mecathyfaulkner - you see Cathy was instrumental in getting Alice airplay amongst so many other things for the local music scene. Cathy was a regular DJ on @999kisw THE ROCK OF SEATTLE, a station I’ve listened to since 1984. Today I shared this find with her and she shared the photo with me (3rd pic) of @jerrycantrell @officialseankinney & @mike_inez_official & Mark Felsot who was the executive producer on that show (& Cathy) - it was taken the day of the radio show recording. Anyway, this has 2 CD’s and the cue sheet. Radio stations used these to mark off that they played the syndicated program, with the date aired. Time for my #bestofthebox for my April @craftvapery box! Roxy sent some good picks this month. 3 - @kingscrest Duchess. Tres leches. To me, tastes like a rich flan. Arctic - 55W, bottle is 50% full. 2 - @beardvapeco No. 32. Cinnamon funnel cake. Tastes just like beards description down to the insanely accurate finish of powdered cinnamon sugar. Arctic - 55W. Bottle is kicked! Only bad thing - clogs the crap out of my coils. 1 - #majestic Crown Jewels. Tastes like a combo of juicy peach, peach Nehi soda (remember that stuff?) and a hint of bubblegum. The best peach flavor I've had to date. Bravo. Used the Arctic - 35W, 50% remains for me to savor. Honorable mention - @royalvapour Princess Mili and @ballisticvape Praline Dream. Both good, both just a hair too sugary for my liking. Left to steep - @leeandquidsvapor Dragons & Kreme.
