Appreciation post for my cousin!

My cousin is so awesome! She’s 15 and cishet but so understanding. She just shut down a homophobe in a discord server and now she’s asking my cousin (her sibling) and my pronouns. She showed us screenshots of the conversation she had with the homophobe asking if she got everything right. (WHICH SHE DID) She’s a great ally. Honestly, the ally everyone deserves. Her mom is a piece of shit and a homophobe, but instead of blindly following her mom, my cousin is making her own decisions and morals. I love her so much.

Her and I this week have been putting homophobes and transphobes in their places and it’s a fantastic feeling. It’s so nice having family members on my side.

MY COUSIN

I think if @taylorswift knew how much she means to my cousin she wouldn't believe it. Like Taylor has helped my cousin through so many situations that she never deserved to go through and anytime she has those down days she plays fearless or literally any Taylor song because she has an emotional connection to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. She literally played fifteen for me on the morning of my freshman year and when we went to see Taylor in Chicago and I saw her crying when she sang fifteen acoustically I too felt emotional because a combination of the fact that not only did alyssa have a connection with that song but so did I and the fact that the first time I saw Taylor live was with my amazing cousin and she sang that song it was amazing. Now I'm sure there are bigger fans of Taylor surely but I know my cousin is up there with some of them.
