OMG Epic con storytime! So me and Bri are heading through the vendor area and this woman rushes over to us, super excited about my cosplay and asks to take a selfie with me. I'm thrilled that she loves it, we take the selfie and carry on with the day. Fast forward a few hours, me and Bri are taking a much need break outside by an fairly empty wall and up she rushes again, still super excited and asks to take a selfie without the masks, since we're outside. Im still just thinking that this is awesome so we take another selfie and start chit chatting for a few minutes. I cant even recall what we were talking about now, i think it was NYCC in general and pokemon and she just casually drops "I'm the voice of Ash Ketchum." Seriously. My mind just went blank. Totally floored. Ive just been having a casual chat with THE voice of Ash Ketchum for the last 15 years!!! Not even thinking about it my hand went to my phone and she noticed and said it was cool if we took a pic together, hence this not selfie I got! She was super sweet and casual about it all. BEST CON EXPERIENCE! And Ash Ketchum loves my cosplay!!!
