Criteria for Choosing Spin Bikes under $500
When looking for a spin bike under $500, it’s important to consider certain criteria to ensure you get a quality piece of equipment that meets your needs. Here are some of the most important factors to consider when selecting a spin bike in this price range:
Resistance Levels: Look for a spin bike that offers multiple resistance levels, as this will allow you to increase the intensity of your workouts over time.
Flywheel Weight: The flywheel is part of the bike that creates resistance and momentum as you pedal. A heavier flywheel provides a smoother and more realistic riding experience.
Adjustability: The spin bike should be adjustable to accommodate your height and body type. Look for a bike with adjustable handlebars and seat, as well as the ability to move the seat forward and backward.
Durability: The spin bike should be made with sturdy materials and be able to withstand regular use. Look for a bike with a steel frame and a weight capacity of at least 250 pounds.
Console Features: While not essential, a console with basic features such as time, distance, and speed can help track your progress.

Treadmill image by Sport-Tiedje GmbH
“The kettlebell is an ancient Russian weapon against weakness.” Pavel
If you enjoy this article, please LIKE, SHARE, and follow us on Facebook.
Before we go into greater detail, here are the 7 reasons I suggest you purchase a kettlebell instead of a treadmill:
Kettlebells Improve both Muscular Strength and Cardiovascular Condition
Kettlebells are More Cost-Effective
Kettlebells have a Small Footprint and are Portable
Kettlebells are Simple & lend themselves to Quick Workouts
Kettlebells are Quiet
Kettlebells allow for a lot of Exercise Variety
Kettlebell workouts are low impact
#1 Kettlebells Improve both Muscular Strength and Cardiovascular Condition
It may seem counter-intuitive, but when you are losing weight, strength training, not cardio training should be your number one exercise priority. For years we have been indoctrinated to believe that to lose weight you have to eat less and move more, but the main flaw with this approach is that even if you do it properly, you will lose muscle mass. If you don’t challenge your muscles, you will lose calorie-burning muscle mass along with the fat which will lead to a fat loss plateau.
Kettlebell workouts can burn as much as 20 calories a minute, depending on your level of effort. Just like running, it is depended on your intensity of effort. If you want to transform your body, replace the mindset that cardio is how you burn fat. Exercise burns fat and strength training helps preserve muscle. Learn more, Why you should prioritize strength training, especially on a diet (UPDATED with FREE workout program log).
#2 Kettlebells are More Cost-Effective
Personal treadmills can range from $500 to $5,000, with the average cost of a well-built treadmill being approximately $2,500. You also have to factor in the cost of purchasing a new pair of running shoes every 6-months as well.
You only need one kettlebell to begin a kettlebell workout routine. I recommend a 15 lbs. kettlebell for women, a 30 lbs. Kettlebell for men. The two kettlebells I recommend cost $25 and $38 respectively. Even if you decide to add additional kettlebells, the cost will never approach that of a treadmill.
#3 Kettlebells have a Small Footprint and are Portable
Unlike a treadmill that will dominate a space, a kettlebell takes up very little space. It can be put in a closet or under a bed. Some treadmills are designed to be folded-up, but I have never seen anyone actually do that between workouts.
Kettlebells are completely portable. On a beautiful day, you can take your kettlebells outside for a workout. You can take it with you on a camping trip or a vacation with your family.
#4 Kettlebells are Simple & lend themselves to Quick Workouts
“Our communist enemies, who are trying to bury us, have exercise breaks instead of coffee breaks.” -Bob Hoffman, York Barbell Club
Kettlebells are very simple. There are no electronics, and there are no belts to maintain. You simply grab it and begin. You don’t need to put on your running shoes, you can perform a lot of movements in your street clothing.
I suggest we take Bob Hoffman’s advise and squeeze in some quick workouts throughout the day. Before I began writing this article, I grabbed my kettlebell, performed 25 swings followed by 50 jumping jacks and then finished with 25 more swings. Our physiology and psychology are linked, so when I want to get my energy up, I like to do something that will get my heart racing for a couple of minutes. Kettlebells make getting in a quick workout very manageable.
Here is a simple workout you can do in under15-minutes:
Beginner Workout: Complete 150 kettlebell swings in as many sets as you need too. When you get tired, rest for 30-60 seconds, then keep swinging and repeat until the 150 repetitions are complete. Once you can complete 150 swings consecutively in a workout, progress to the intermediate level.
Intermediate Workout: complete 300 kettlebell swings in as many sets as you need too. When you get tired, rest for 30-60 seconds, then keep swinging and repeat until the 300 repetitions are complete.
#5 Kettlebells are Quiet
If you are like me, you do most of your cardio workouts in the morning before everyone else is awake. My family would not appreciate me pounding away on a treadmill at 5:00 AM in the morning at all. Kettlebells are noiseless. I typically alternate between my kettlebell and spin bike. Neither makes any noise, and both are low impact. My spin bike has no electronics, so I can hop off, perform 20-30 repetitions of a kettlebell exercise or calisthenics, like mountain climbers, and then hop right back on and resume pedaling.
#6 Kettlebells allow for a lot of Exercise Variety
You can do countless exercises with kettlebells targeting every muscle of the body. You are only limited by your imagination. Kettlebell workouts are simply a lot more fun and enjoyable. You can purchase the exercise chart below for approximately $20.
You can also find countless exercise videos on YouTube for free. This 20-minute video would be a great one to start with:
The treadmill was originally invented as a form of punishment for prisoners in the 1800s. It wasn’t popularized for commercial and home use until the 1970s.
#7 Kettlebell Exercise is Low Impact with very little Risk of Overuse Injuries
Unlike running on a treadmill, a kettlebell workout is low impact exercise, and your risk of overuse injuries is very low. You aren’t repeating the same movement pattern thousands of times during a workout like you do with running.
Best Wishes and Best Health!

Race Anecdotes: Clinics are not just for beginners
You may see big improvements by attending clinics when you’re first starting out racing, but how have you recently refined your skills? When’s the last time you properly stood on your bike and pulled your handlebars with your latissimus dorsi muscles? What was your saddle doing as you stood out of it? When’s the last time you climbed Lookout Mountain and methodically alternated between standing and sitting the whole climb?
As we become more experienced racers and bike riders, we assume clinics are for beginners. Stop. Always be learning.
This past Sunday, May 26th, BRAC held its second Women’s+ Clinic. Coach Alison Powers of ALP Cycles Coaching taught us hill climbing techniques to get us up to the top faster. I decided last minute to attend the clinic even though I already had two volunteers, Stephen and Marcus (pedal RACING team members), to help out. I get caught between burn out from managing the entire BRAC Women’s+ Bike Racing Initiative and feeling like I need to be at all the events to prove my dedication. Like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Or, a cyclist who wants more women racing their bikes but needs to focus on her own training goals too.
My training for the day called for four hours of Zone 2. I knew my teammate, Brittney, signed up for the clinic. I asked if she’d like to commute to the clinic. So we did.
We got there early. Sixteen women signed up. I anxiously awaited their presence knowing some would flake. I hoped all sixteen would show. Five interested racers, four Cat 5 racers, and three Cat 4 racers showed. I was the only Cat 3 woman who was there.
This is where I get disappointed. From the survey BRAC conducted, there was an overwhelming ask for more women’s+-only clinics, women’s+ social rides, and mentors. I fought tooth and nail for a budget to provide that to Colorado women racers. There are roughly 500 or so women registered through BRAC. So where the fuck are they?
I also realize that just because it’s available doesn’t mean women will or have to show up. I understand we all have lives outside of bike racing and as amateur bike racers, tooling around in a circle for forty minutes may come second to other priorities. I’m also super grateful that we had anyone show up at all. It could have just been Alison and me twiddling our thumbs.
I think I get disappointed because I’ve spent an extraordinary amount of time and suffered through circular debates about this. I birthed this initiative in to existence. This has become an extension of me. It feels silly to say, in all honesty. I just want it to be successful. I also acknowledge my idea of success is probably unrealistic.
So, what did you miss out on by ditching the Hill Climb Clinic?
Importance of gearing
Just like oatmeal, beds, and gels: there’s a difference between too much and too little of something. Same goes for gearing: too easy or too hard of a gear and you’re likely to go slower. There’s a gear that’ll be just right to move you up the mountain faster.
The same goes for gearing between seated and standing: too easy of a gear when you stand and you’ll be spinning too fast to move. Shifting up a few gears while standing as you pedal helps to maintain cadence and power and push you forward. One of the exercises Alison instructed us to do was to practice pedaling while seated, shifting gears, and pedaling while standing.
Importance of positioning
When seated, typically, you’ll keep your hands on the hoods. When standing, you’ll want to move your body forward a little to allow for the saddle to move back and forth behind your legs. You’ll also want to pull with your upper body as you pedal standing. This will end up working your lats.
We also discussed positioning in a race and where the best lines are on hairpin turns.
We had made it about halfway up after discussing the different techniques of hill climbing. Then we rode the rest of the way to the top to practice on our own. Alison gave us a quick lesson on descending before we called it a day.
Our next clinic is Road Racing led by Inspired Training Center on June 23rd. You can find the details on the BRAC calendar or on our Facebook page.
Always-be-learning mindset
There are two kinds of mindsets: fixed and growth. A person with a fixed mindset believes that they can’t change, that they’re born with the abilities they currently have. Failing, to a fixed mindset type, is proof of their incompetence. Alternatively, someone with a growth mindset believes they can change, whether that’s a skill or personality trait, and they learn through failure.
The people who showed up to the clinic have a growth mindset. They went believing they’d learn a new skill and become a better hill climber. The people who saw the clinic and deliberately chose to do something else because they didn’t think they’d benefit from the clinic have fixed mindsets. They didn’t think they’d learn something.
Carol Dweck, author of Mindset: The New Psychology of Success, had this to say about people who have a growth mindset:
For twenty years, my research has shown that the view you adopt for yourself profoundly affects the way you lead your life. It can determine whether you become the person you want to be and whether you accomplish the things you value. How does this happen? How can a simple belief have the power to transform your psychology and, as a result, your life?
Believing that your qualities are carved in stone — the fixed mindset — creates an urgency to prove yourself over and over. If you have only a certain amount of intelligence, a certain personality, and a certain moral character — well, then you’d better prove that you have a healthy dose of them. It simply wouldn’t do to look or feel deficient in these most basic characteristics.
[…]
I’ve seen so many people with this one consuming goal of proving themselves — in the classroom, in their careers, and in their relationships. Every situation calls for a confirmation of their intelligence, personality, or character. Every situation is evaluated: Will I succeed or fail? Will I look smart or dumb? Will I be accepted or rejected? Will I feel like a winner or a loser? . . .
There’s another mindset in which these traits are not simply a hand you’re dealt and have to live with, always trying to convince yourself and others that you have a royal flush when you’re secretly worried it’s a pair of tens. In this mindset, the hand you’re dealt is just the starting point for development. This growth mindset is based on the belief that your basic qualities are things you can cultivate through your efforts. Although people may differ in every which way — in their initial talents and aptitudes, interests, or temperaments — everyone can change and grow through application and experience.
Do people with this mindset believe that anyone can be anything, that anyone with proper motivation or education can become Einstein or Beethoven? No, but they believe that a person’s true potential is unknown (and unknowable); that it’s impossible to foresee what can be accomplished with years of passion, toil, and training.
Don’t believe yourself when you blurt out loud, “I’m not a climber.” Change the way you talk to yourself. Having a fixed mindset, believing you’re too good for a clinic, is easy. Admitting you have weaknesses you can work on and taking steps to improve deficiencies is badass.

Over-Under Intervals
Riding below and above your FTP forces your body to handle changes in power output, mimicking race scenarios on long climbs.
Example Workout:
Warm-Up: 15-20 minutes
3x12 OU (2U, 1O) [2 mins under @ 86-90% FTP; 1 min over @ 102-105%+ FTP] x 4 = 12 minutes
6 mins Rest between intervals
Cool down: 15 minutes
Sweet Spot Training
Riding right below your FTP helps gradually increase it by challenging your body to maintain higher output for longer durations.
Example Workout:
Warm-Up: 15-20 minutes
3x20 mins @ 84-95% of FTP
10 sec. Sprint every 4 mins.
15 mins Recovery between intervals
Cool down: 15 minutes
Riding at your FTP
I see a lot of strong riders doing FTP intervals. This means riding at your FTP for a certain duration with rest in between. This also helps increase your FTP over time.
Example Workout:
Warm-Up: 15-20 minutes
3x15 @ FTP
5-10 minutes Recovery between intervals
Cool down: 15 minutes

A Peek Inside Project Physique: Summit’s Holistic Wellness Studio
Above: Founder and owner of Project Physique, Katye Kane Stanzak. Melinda DiMauro Photography.
Growing up in Colorado, Katye Kane Stanzak began taking ballet and tap lessons at the age of three. In high school, when yoga was offered as an option instead of regular PE, Stanzak jumped at the opportunity and found it came naturally to her after her years of dance training. Ten years ago Stanzak, her husband and their three children now ages 16, 14 and 11 moved from Colorado to Chatham, NJ and after years of teaching and being a witness to what is lacking in the fitness world, Stanzak developed Project Physique, a holistic wellness studio located on Springfield Avenue in Summit, that combines fitness, inspiration, and nutrition—as a hub for all things healthy. With fitness classes such as Project Physique, Project Ride and Project Clarity (see class descriptions below), the focus is on alignment, intelligent weight training, functional movement, yoga, and stretching. In terms of wellness, the focus is on real, whole foods that heal, and that break down the negative emotional stories we tell ourselves about food.
“We believe that movement is medicine. We implement an innovative and holistic approach that is designed to enhance both your body and mind.”
After we tried our first few classes at Project Physique, what struck us the most next to the energetic and fun vibe, was the positive, nurturing, and hands-on attitude we experienced from each instructor. The classes were excellent - a challenge that produced results - we could feel it in all the right places the following day. Intrigued, we asked Stanzak a few questions to learn more about Project Physique:
TSG: Besides seeing a gap in fitness offerings, what inspired you to create Project Physique?
KKS: I wanted a place where the feeling I get from teaching could be brought to life. Teaching is where I am most confident. That confidence brings out my personality and love for making people feel good about themselves.
TSG: How would you describe Project Physique?
KKS: A fitness party. A girls trip that involves sweat. A big hug? It may sound silly, but that is exactly what it is. We welcome all people and cater to all levels of fitness. While the actual classes and their fitness content are key, the vibe and feeling a sense of belonging are a priority.
TSG: Tell us about your background. Where and when did your love of fitness begin and where did that journey take you?
KKS: I’ve had a lifetime of movement. At a very young age I started ballet and tap and as the years went by my interest in all types of movement increased. I not only wanted to continue dancing, but master other types of movement. When I started taking yoga in high school it certainly wasn’t as cool and respected as it is now. My Yoga certification was my first fitness certification. I use yoga techniques in every single class I teach. I treat it like air - something necessary to survive.
Above: Project Physique Instructors. Melinda DiMauro Photography.
After a few years of honing her skills as a yoga instructor, Stanzak wanted to know more about anatomy and started Pilates instruction. Over a three year period while simultaneously starting a business, she completed her 500 hour pilates mat and reformer certification and learned the techniques that keep the body fluid and strong, working from the deepest layer of the core and out. Somewhere while all of this was happening she also secured her spin certification. “Cycling is the ultimate cardio party. I love how powerful I feel on a bike. I love the energy and spirit a rush of endorphins brings.”
As a dancer Stanzak developed choreography skills which are an important part of her classes. “Choreography is key to keeping people engaged and energized. If the actual movement doesn’t make sense or have a smooth transition, you will loose your crowd. When I train my instructors it is vital that every transition is a “working” transition. There should be no time wasted. You are always working in any of our classes.”
You will not find class levels at Project Physique since their instructors are required to have enough fitness knowledge and teaching experience to instruct a room that has first time clients, beginners, advanced, and people with injuries.
Above: Project Physique’s retail store; Stanzak and instructors. Melinda DiMauro Photography.
“I am extremely picky about who I train and who I allow to represent Project Physique. The problem with the fitness industry right now is that studios are spread too thin which is great that clients are taking their fitness seriously, but not at the expense of being taught by an under qualified instructor. It seems like studios now are just pumping out ‘certified’ instructors without requiring the proper training in anatomy, sequencing, choreography, musicality and basic people skills.”
“My instructors must also create a friendly and non-competitive vibe. If there is one thing that drives me crazy, it’s the ‘mean girl’ mentality. My thought is - you got out of bed this morning and did whatever you had to do to get to class - that should be rewarded with kindness, a sense of belonging and encouragement. There is no room for competition and nastiness. We’re all just trying to live the best, healthiest life we can. We should support each other period, the end!”
We couldn’t agree more.
Project Physique is located at 463 Springfield Avenue, Summit, NJ 07091 | 908.219.4120
PROJECT PHYSIQUE STUDIO CLASSES
Physique - Barre + Mat Pilates + Yoga: These 3 different fitness techniques are sequenced for a total body toning class. Each part is highlighted during the class. We introduce the movements then layer on to get deeper into the muscles. Yoga is used to link the barre and Pilates together for seamless transitions. The idea is that you are always working - there are no breaks in this class, but you listen to your body and reconnect in down dog or child’s pose at ANY time.
Connect - Mat Pilates + Yoga: In Connect the barre portion is eliminated to offer clients something different. There are a lot of people who have knee and back injuries, but want a vigorous and strengthening workout just the same. Eliminating the ‘barre’ and adding more mat and floor work allows the class to accommodate this.
Restore - Restorative Yoga + Deep Stretching: Project Restore is a collection of restorative yoga techniques, guided stretch and assisted adjustments bring balance to the mind and body. This class is perfect as a stand alone or coupled with coreRIDE or Physique.
coreRIDE - Cycling + Mat Pilates: A complete fitness experience. With many people finding 45 minutes too long on the bike coreRIDE was created. The cardio aspect is 35-38 minutes of this class to get the heart pumping, blood flowing and endorphins going. The cool down is a working transition to mat work. For the remaining 15 minutes different mat pilates techniques are layered in to strengthen and shape our bodies.

Will my auto insurance go up?
"Will my auto insurance go up?
I am a California San Diego resident. Four days ago, it was raining very heavily and I was driving a carpool lane on the freeway at about 60-65mph. All of a sudden my car hydroplaned and spinned 360 degrees about 3times and then it finally stopped when my car's rear crashed into the concrete median. FORTUNATELY, it was 4am and this accident did not involve anyone else. I had to leave the place like nothing had happened, because I was on my way to the airport. When I arrived at the airport I looked at my car's rear and the bumper and trunk was heavily damaged. Now, I am in a foreign country enjoying my vacation. My questions are following: (1) Will my insurance go up if I report this accident to my auto insurance? I have a full coverage. (2) Will I be in problem if I report this accident when it has been 4days? I really had no time until now because I had to fly and then settle a problem over here in Asia. Any thoughts/opinions are very welcome! Thank yoU!

Progressive auto insurance problem !?
I need an opinion on what should i do in this case. 3 weeks ago , as I was driving home , on the freeway , from the truck in front of me fell big peace of ice and hit my car from underneath. Less than 1 minute later i noticed blue smoke behind , luckily there was and exit with gas station right there. By the time i pulled up to the gas station car was barely moving. After staying parked for 20 min , it leaked oil and tranny fluid . I called towing , had them pick the car up , called progressive made the claim. All of that happened in WI near Milwaukee , before i used to leave in Chicago , so I never dealt with progressive from WI. After couple days adjuster came out and gave shop 1100$ to start the repairs , shop diagnosed everything and came to a conclusion that its the transmission leaking because of the damage inside. Adjuster was extremely slow to give shop any kind of approvals to do anything , So after 3 weeks they finally allowed them to take transmission apart , another adjuster came out took pictures , then shop owner want around , called me and said that he will call me next day. Next day shop owner calls me asking if I heard anything from progressive ? I call that guy back , but he went on vacation. Call my first adjuster , she says that the guy who went on vacation concluded that it wasn't related to impact , so they wont pay for anything and I owe 500 for taking down transmission. I called shop owner right away asking if its possible , not being related to impact , he says of course not , otherwise your car wouldn't break after impact. He also said some technical explanation what caused it to break , i just don't know what. he also said that no one ever called him and asked him what was the cause if that. I dealt with progressive in Chicago twice , when i lived there , and i had greatest experience ever , but it seems that in Milwaukee , they are playing games , making me pay , and not taking responsibilities. I figured somebody might know what should I do in this case , I just want them to do what they should do , especially when Im paying 200$ a month.""

Will my auto insurance go up?
I am a California San Diego resident. Four days ago, it was raining very heavily and I was driving a carpool lane on the freeway at about 60-65mph. All of a sudden my car hydroplaned and spinned 360 degrees about 3times and then it finally stopped when my car's rear crashed into the concrete median. How to win the claim case from the other car insurance company?
ok. So few days ago, I got into a car accident. I was driving down the highway simply just going straight. All of a sudden, this SUV crashed into me from my left lane and knocked off my side-view mirror & left some marks on my left front door. At that time of the being, I was so shocked because all I did was just go straight & I guess the car next to mine was trying to make a lane change but he wasn't fast enough to advance me. so instead, he bumped into me and realized what he's done then went back to his lane. after the accident, we both exited out from the highway & parked our cars on the side road because that's where the other car led me. I was driving alone at that time & I was so scared because it was my first time getting into this kind of an accident. I quickly tried calling 911 & told the 911 lady to send me a police. But she just asked if there was any injury & I said no then she just told me to exchange the insurance. How rude of her. Not to be mean, but I was little scared of the mexicans b/c the area I was in at the moment was really ghetto. so then I took some photos of the damages and exchanged the insurance company. The guy kept telling me in bad English that he was ahead of me so it's my fault. and I told him that I didn't even move & he was the one changed the lane without even checking to see if it was clear. but he couldn't really speak english well or he didn't even want to listen to me. so I left like that with my sideview mirror dangling next to me. *sigh* this isn't the end of the story yet. I claimed his insurance company which ive never heard of. They said that he's telling them I was the one who hit their car. which made NO SENSE. I even have a picture of their car bumper's mark on my side of the car door which proves that there's no way I hit their car and left a mark on mine and broke my own side view mirror and left THEM no damages. His car was clear with one inch scratch on the side which was made when he hit my car after bumping into me with his bumper and quickly turning back into his own lane. I can't even believe how he can lie about this kind of stuff. I feel so mad that there're ppl like him existing!!! It's so frustrating to see the liar defending himself. His Insurance company didn't even try to look at my car & told me that they are sorry & they can not help me b/c their customer said he didn't do it. What should I do in this situation? I have no witness, there wasn't any police there at the time because they wouldn't send me any which is SO WRONG of them to do. I want to sue 911 people. grr. How can I possibly prove them that I have no faults and they should repair my damn side view mirror?!?!?! What can I do?""

Should I cancel my car insurance policy?
So long story short -- I totaled my car in an accident which was my fault back in December, and unfortunately did not have collision coverage on my insurance policy. I am a full-time student and have been unable to afford purchasing another car since then, and do not know when I will be able to afford another car. Although I am now without a vehicle I have been reluctant to cancel my insurance policy because I was told that if I did, whenever I purchased another car and had to buy insurance again the price of it would skyrocket because I would be considered high risk for having a chronological gap in my coverage. So basically I am currently paying $80 a month for car insurance when I do not even have a car, just to avoid having it go up even more at some point in the unknown future after I buy another car. Is this worth it or would it be wiser to just go ahead and cancel my policy? I would like to get some other people's counsel on this who know more about car insurance and who are more financially competent than I am. Thanks so much.""

Do I need a consent to settle by my own auto insurance company?
The guy who hit me does not have an ample amount of insurance to cover my injuries. They are offering me the policy limits to settle. My own uninsured or uninsured motorist has been given enough documentation to know that my additional insurance will come into play. I have filed suit against the guy and his insurance company, but do I need a letter of consent to settle with them from my own insurance company to make sure that my uninsured motorist coverage will still be available to me. I really think it is criminal for any insurance company or state to make the limits on auto insurance so low, when the average cost of an auto accident is higher than the minimum coverages that they allow drivers to driver under. Also, there are many attorneys that wont even look at taking a case unless the limits are much higher than state minimum, because they can make considerably more on those who are very well insured. My own insurance company is treating my like I am retarded, and I was until I started reading all the insurance laws and bought a very fine civil litigation book for 4 dollars, best investment I ever made. But I am no Pro Se expert, my hat is tipped to you attorneys and insurance adjusters. What a stressful job you have and so many laws to abide by and to follow. I can only get better the more I read the more I know. Thanks for your time.""

Born abroad car insurance premiums higher?
I have been gathering quotes for car insurance online on confused and was delighted to see the price down at 615 for once as I have been getting car insurance every year since the age 18 and it has always been over 1000. However, just having a quick check over my details to make sure everything I had entered was correct and then I noticed I had ticked the resident from birth box. I was born in Spain as my mother went over there to work and then had me. I was born in 87 and she took me back home in 88 or 89 roughly. (She is a full British citizen born and raised in UK). As I have no contact with my father and I don't even remember being in Spain or nor can I even speak the language well, I feel fully British and also am regarded as a British citizen. My mum also registered me at a british consulate in april 88, just 6 months after I was born. So I put on the form that I became a resident in 1988. I then calculate the prices again and the insurance quotes shoot up with 955 being the cheapest and the rest going up to 1000. I then think back to all the years I have been paying the insurance and building up my no claims and being the perfect driver with no claims despite having to pay the shocking premiums that young people have to pay and this makes me absolutely livid that my insurance goes up by 340 to 400 based on the fact that I was born in Spain and spent 1 year of my life there and the rest of the 23 years as British Citizen raised here. I am just wondering if I could get away with just going ahead and saying that I was a resident from Birth as I have a baby on the way and really wish that my premiums were a reasonable ammount for once or I should go through it and just demand that they bring the premiums down to the 615 like originally quoted! It just makes me really annoyed that they can get away with this kind of stuff and I really don't like the fact that I am having to pay higher premiums just for the sake of it. Any advice on this?""

Best health insurance for 22 yr old?
Okay so right now I have insurance through my job and the insurance really blows (for lack of a better term). Every time I go to the doctor I end up paying a couple hundred dollars for the tests they have to run (I'm a girl so I go once a year). Plus they don't cover hospital visits (had to go the emergency room and me insurance didn't pay a dime so I had to pay $500 out of pocket for the visit). So I was looking into getting my own insurance but I am not sure which one I should get. I live in Arizona and I am a 22 year old female. The only time I go to the doctor is for my yearly gyno visit and if something is really wrong (which is very rare). I would also like a vision and dental with it too since I go to the dentist once a year along with going to the eye doctor. So any suggestions would be nice :) Thank you in advance.

My car got flooded bacuase of the Hurricane IKE in the houston area. The current market value of this car is 9k but I still owe 13500 and I do not have GAP insurance. I had an offer for this car three weeks before the hurricane for 12k. As we all know insurance will only pay what it worth now. What are my possibilities for having the insurance pay it off sice this was a natural disaster.
How to Improve a Car Insurance Company's Offer?
Someone hits my car while I parked on the street, the lady hits 2 cars. My car value is 11,000 (my car is one way) and the other car value is 2,000. The lady's insurance only cover up to 10,000. So I only can get 84% of the 10,000 (so i got $8461) How I ask for more money?""

Thank yoU!

Treadmill image by Sport-Tiedje GmbH
“The kettlebell is an ancient Russian weapon against weakness.” Pavel
Kettlebellfor men.

Kettlebellfor men.
