crying screaming throwing up at the latest Lionheart update – only amplified by my listening to the Tortured Poets Department (anthology) while reading. What are your favourite songs from the album? and what would be Hermione and Draco's faves?

favorites: So Long London, BDILH, Florida, Guilty as Sin, The Bolter

Guilty as Sin? is the one that I'll be using for my imaginary blorbo music videos for a while, personally. BDILH is going to be the new star-crossed-lovers edit audio on TikTok from now til the heat-death of the universe, and I personally am going to enjoy that. The Bolter is the best storytelling, and I think its specificity is its strength.

I think Hermione and Draco are 90's babies, and I have self-indulgently projected my own taste for 80's/90's altrock onto both of them. I think Daphne would go full Swiftie in a hot minute, though. Would go nuts for the Alchemy. (It's me, I'm Daph.)

I've heard this before. why do I think I love it #wait you — YOU WROTE THIS SONG ALREADY #I DON'T like this I like the OTHER one because it played at MY prom and I have Emotional Attachments to it #which of course is part of the point. you attach yourselves to these songs because they can hold projection!#swift is fully aware of this and it's why she's pivoted towards this style of music over the more confessional parts of folklore #the last 50% of Florida is one of the best parts of her discography and florence welch should be a permanent swift producer. by the way.#and if all of florida was like that it would be on every playlist about sad blorbos until the end of TIME #but they let JACK ANTONOFF NEAR IT — no i won't speak.

honestly really miss playing in an orchestra but i miss the county youth orchestras i played in as a kid & never practised & sightread all my music on the day & it was fine like the stress of adult orchestras is not for me but you never come across like an adult amateur orchestra but still a proper orchestra u know.... like i miss the hugeness of being in an orchestra and having 50+ instruments surround you :(

#i also hated it at the time bc i had to get a bus to a strange place #and i was younger than everyone else + the ony one from my school #so id like hide to eat my lunch alone and shit #also i think all the orhcestras i played in are probabl y defunded now...#thankyou tories #i literally only like playing music w other ppl so i always struggle w practising LOL because i like the connection element the best #being part of the sound but not being thte sound..etc #clarinet so i gotthe best spot in the house (away from the fiddles and near the brass)

How do you possibly write that nostalgic feeling of times gone past, reflecting in one's bed during a starry, rainy night? It's genuinely such a hard feeling to describe in words.

#though personally #i always feel this way listening to a song i became attached to at a certain time #it always reminds me of that event but also back when my room was my own and not shared w my sister #and of starry silent wintery/autumnal evenings right after meeting with friends and it's getting dark #when you feel lonely but really happy and giddy that you got to hang out with them and mess around like children again #but if it's really old and i mean like a decade or so old #i'm reminded of school discos in year 5 or 6 and playing tag and hide-and-seek w my best friend at the time #how we'd sing those songs on a bright summer holiday afternoon as we came walking back to her house from the major park we both lived near #and how we'd feel so on top of the world #and now i wonder how she's doing after she moved away #i wonder how everyone's doing after being almost 5 years apart #or of how even during lockdown i would be sat listening to minecraft osts and taking long walks down said major park #around the time i began to write and plan ootf and being reminded how thoughtful and clear headed i used to be #i'm a bit nostalgic if you can't tell #:')

Something that confuses me (and alarms me a bit ngl) is the assumption I see everywhere that, once Mike moved to Seattle, he just stopped talking to Harvey. I wasn’t saying anything because there had been no confirmation either way (although why Mike would do something like that, or why Harvey would keep calling if he had, I wouldn’t know, so I just assumed he didn’t), but now I’ve watched If The Shoe Fits and there’s confirmation that they were still talking (with what had sadly become Suits-typical disregard for canon -in this case, Mike being confused about the Paula thing when he was actually in NY for it- notwithstanding. We could always assume Harvey didn’t tell him all that went down back then and now he did), so...?

#Suits TV #Mike Ross #Harvey Specter #it reminds me of the thing with Endgame and Steve in the opposite way #like the guy had travelled to the past to stay and committed to leave everyone else to rot for the sake of not interfering #and people were comparing it to changing schools #now this guy moves to another state with a 3hr difference that makes it difficult but far from impossible to call much less text or email #and fandom assumed he just cut his best friend off??? And why???#one (1) missed call? near the end of the season??#I think fandom's abandonment issues on this one ran deeper than even Harvey's ffs #also I don't want to play fandom armchair psychologist (she says right before playing fandom armchair psychologist) but #I think this is also why the negative reactions to Mike in 9x05 were so... emphatic #there's this air of 'he comes back after all this time for THIS?'#that I don't think Mike's level of dickishness in the ep quite warrants (there's something to be said of the fact that #for all the times he's done something shady with Harvey and for Harvey or even behind Harvey's back #this is the first time he's done something shady against Harvey #which would be upsetting under normal circumstances and enraging after the (presumed) months of radio silence #but... there weren't months of radio silence #also I think ppl kinda wanted Mike to come back grovelling bc everything went wrong in Seattle #and don't know what to do with a successful Mike who came back to shoot the breeze over a round of friendly bloodsport alla Gillis #remember how excited they were to get into a knife fight back then? It's why I find it weird there's ppl offended that he came back #to pick a fight or imply that him doing it bc he misses Harvey is a hidden motive. It's not. They're both very aware that it's an excuse #to hang out and to test the student against the master #what they don't realize even after Gillis is that just bc they want to try their mettle against each other doesn't mean they SHOULD #competitive arrogant dickheads that they are (my loves)

the renovation starts tmrrw (LOL) and i woke up from a dream abt it crying. awesome

#today is our last day having a deck and i genuinely feel sick to my stomach over it. ik it’s just a piece of wood and it’s falling apart but #omg like… o ur house is about to not be our house anymore. like the deck is where me and my siblings played w our best friends it’s where i #paced back and forth to get fresh air so many times ater losing my shit during lockdown and it’s literally about to be gone…. forever? ok!!!#and then the kitchen is going to go and im going to lose it genuinely. like this house is shitty and rotting and falling apart and its great #that we are getting a renovation finally but jesus christ i have lived here all my life and yeah i hate the kitchen but it’s home and you’re #just gonna tear it down and make jt 3x bigger like it’s nothing??? ok 😂😂😂😂😂😂#purrs #literally im getting war flashbacks to losing the van which was never gonna drive again but it was my SPACE for all of lockdown and #it got fucking junked after being my sanctuary (as unpleasant as it was) for like 2 years not to mention OUR CAR that we did everything in a #and now we have my grandparents car and there isn’t a backseat so i don’t get room to breathe when they drive. and also my grandparents #house has officially been demolished to make way for a fucking mansion and the near total renovation of my high school is almost done which #means the classroom where i became a human being is gone and the office is going to get destroyed too when that renovation happens and we’ll #have to go make a home somewhere else. i know this kind of thing happens but it makes me want to start screaming. like yeah these #renovations will make life better for everyone (except the fucking mansion it’s bc my grandparents died and the developers are selfish and #cruel lol!!!!!) but the way so many of the spaces that have been important to me keep ending up getting destroyed after im done w them. it’s #comforting in a way bc it’s like oh no one else gets to have it be important but also no that ISNT comforting i want those spaces to keep #being sacred i want them to mean something to other people and i want to be able to go back and soak in the memories again. and everyone is #mad at me for freaking out the renovation but it’s like ok you come into our living space you destroy core parts of my childhood and also #create a situation where we literally can’t like eat or cook anything in the house for months like idk what we’re gonna do bc we don’t go #anywhere bc of covid except work for me and school for my brother so. idk. this whole thing SUCKS. i can’t believe it’s starting tomorrow #and i can’t believe the deck is about to be gone. pain and suffering and pain and suffering and pain and suffering.

Has anyone else ever had dreams that last years? Then you just wake up in tears because what just happened??

#I once had a dream about being 10 and living near this beautiful mossy forest #and there was this girl I was best friends with and we would go there to play everyday after school #We would also go to museums together all the time and we just... grew up together #Then when we were seventeen-ish she would move away for college #so so met up at our favorite museum that had glass walls that the leaves would cover #And we cried and hugged and held on so so tight and then I woke up #Also this other dream where I was in high school and fell in love with a girl #and the years past and we got married and bought a little house full of sunflowers in our garden #where we would have picnics all the time #Then we had the sweetest little daughter #But then my wife passed away and I was left taking care of our daughter and I was so depressed and didn't know what do do #We just ate cereal all the time and then cps wanted to take her away from me #But the she got really sick and also passed away and aaaaah #brain you are so so creative but damn 😢💔#jj talks

#please help idk if this is just platonic awe or if i Like him #damn this is the same story as always😎it is not new😎how does one Ever tell the difference between feelings and Feelings😎🐺#froegis meep tag #he is so smart and naturally curious and i could listen to him talk for hours #he codes he does math problems for fun he plays destiny too much he’s incredibly sleep deprived he’s super adhd and dyslexic and omg #i just have a lot of admiration for him and i love his brain #but also thats not the only reason #what makes him so special is despite all of that and how logical he seems to be. he’s actually so so sweet and he is really emotionally apt #like he’s not a robot. he’s just a Guy who has fun coding and doing math and i adore that #because he also cares and isn’t just a Guy he’s a kind guy and is easy to talk to and he’s come so much out of his shell these past few year #years and it makes me so happy and im so proud of him #and now we get to play ow2 together for our school and im really happy about it because he’s the one person i know and am comfy with #gajdudhaugddub anyways anyways brain is racing and going places and although i know i am nowhere near mentally well enough for any kind of #relationship i still cant help from wondering if i just want to be friends So Bad or if this is a ‘i want to be in love with him So Bad’#u knwo..?#cause we are friends but my heart is like.. but what if.. we were Best Friends..#or.. wgat if.. we held hands and stuff😎
