Ghost Motorcycle Headcanons <3
Y’all wanted it and I love you xoxo (Photo @/happy_muz)
Ghost x You 18+
IMPORTANT I MOVED ACCOUNTS FOLLOW @konigschitzo2 FOR MORE POSTS AND UPDATES!!!
First things first Ghost rides a Yamaha R1, I literally didn't even have to think about it...
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
Due to Ghost's large and extremely muscular body, he is an extremely precise rider always being able to maintain control. Easily swerving away from obstacles; even as he pushes the speeds of his powerful bike past the 150 mark. He would never be so reckless with you on the back but it's comforting to know he can hold his own even at such high speeds.
Ghost rides daily...
Ghost always gives you a long intimate kiss before riding. He puts his hand on your cheek to hold you closer. He does worry about it being your last, but he still craves the high speeds of a motorcycle.
Ghost may wear minimal gear himself. Often just his gloves and helmet. But Ghost makes you wear all the best. "We need to protect that beautiful body baby, I am going to need it." He teases. You roll your eyes, looking at his exposed arms.
Motorcycle Ghosts arms are tatted obviously!!
Ghost lifts you onto his bike. He is gentle with you as his large hands grab your waist and lift you with ease.
Ghost tells you, "It is okay to put your weight on me, I want you to hold onto me. I want you to feel safe." before riding. He's big enough that leaning onto him never affected his braking, he wanted you to hold him anyway. Gripping tightly to his waist when the high-speed turns made you nervous.
Ghost is a serious rider. You know you shouldn't but you grab his bulge often when backpacking him. He feels it, the adrenaline is pumping. But he still keeps complete composure. Sometimes you can even feel him getting harder, all he can do is shift into a higher gear and face ahead. He is using speed to hide the fact he wants to pull over and fuck you onto his bike.
Ghost wants to fuck you on his R1. He thinks about it every day while he shines it and checks the chain. He believes it will show his love for you if he dirties the bike he keeps so flawless. He is too nervous to tell you this fantasy of his.
Ghost never waves or accepts compliments from other girls while with his bike alone. Pretending not to see them. Wishing you were with him instead. He doesn't want you to get your own bike only to always be on his.

Car and Motorcycle Spells and Superstitions
Vroom Vroom, if you know or dont know hello! I am a motorcycle driver (2022 Venom x18R) and my loving husband is currently in school for automotive mechanics, loves tinkering on his car (2001 BMW-Z3), and overall we make a great team!
Today, both Mr. Iris and I wanted to share spells and superstitions we use to not only keep our things running but also protected
Motorcycles:
We believe in the use of a guardian bell, the superstition goes that there are ghosts and evil spirits that get into our bikes and ruin them, a guardian bell wards off from crashes, break downs, and other damage that is caused by these spirits. The bells trap them inside and the ringing drives them mad so they fall off and wander around aimlessly
Some chapters and churches (especially in the south) host a 'blessing of the bikes' ceremony before the first events of the year, its a non-denominational blessing where people of all sorts get together and bless their bikes for safety
Riding with your gear pegs down can be an invitation for spirits to hop on the back of your bike, if you are in a funeral motorcade its an invitation for the deceased to enjoy a last ride, but I dont reccomened keeping them up on your daily ride
In world war 2 messangers would ride green bikes which made them targets, and after the war there were so many of these green bikes that people would buy and then break down it became bad luck to ride a green bike
Never ride a dead mans bike, its said that their spirit will come down and knock you on your ass
Its bad luck to drop a helmet with the common saying “As goes your helmet, so goes your head.”, but its also a safety thing. Helmets shouldnt be dropped because of the compression and foam inside of them which lessens their ability to protect you in a crash
ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET.
Always stop to help fellow bikers, you dont know when you will need it
Iris's Motorcycle Ward:
First, bless your bike in as many ways as you want, then create a sigil of luck using the number wheel system, instead of drawing that sigil and place it on your bike take those numbers (i.e "protect this bike" becomes 12478) and either draw them in bike cleaner OR get decals to hide around
Cars:
You might notice how nascar drivers have their own good luck charm, whether its a photo of their partner, a lucky coin, or a blue sock, we can replicate supersitions of our favorite driver (congrats to Landon Cassill)
If a bird poops on your car its a sign that you may recieve good news or riches
Holding your breath under a tunnel or by a cemetery was started because people believe that restless spirits might come out and enter your body, or mess up your car.
Some people say to ward your car from future accidents, its best to scratch or dent it when you first get it because it keeps accidents away
do a ritual (kiss your mirror, slap your visor) when you pass a yellow light because it wards away cops
Pick up your feet when you pass over a bridge or railroad, its said that if you dont you wont find your future spouse because you "already crossed the threshold"
You may hear "a bmw is the most expensive car youll own" or "Id rather push a chevy then drive a ford" when you observe these phrases take note of your own car, and find good luck phrases to support your car
Avoid places with a lot of accidents, not only is it good luck, but there may be a lot of accidents for a reason like blind turns or strange speed limits
Mr. Iris's green light spell:
On all of our vehicles we put a spell on the cars computer (CAN and ECU's), we enchanted our car or bikes by holding the dash, then chanting or visualizing our energy connecting to the CAN, we ask that the computers energy predict green lights and take the energy of our car to prevent red lights. We have had a very good success rate! Other spells we love:
Another one we do is an 'anti-cop' spell, on a bike sometimes we get ahead of ourselves and feel like the speed limit is a suggestion, so to protect us we not only keep a sigil patch on the inside of our helmets and we also keep a blue fuse in our pockets as a ward from getting caught
When Mr. Iris has a race or car show he uses a significant date to help win (Go 917), plus he also creates a chant to "hype up the cars engine" there are ofc other superstitions like these so really pick what you like!
Thank you all! I hope you enjoy!

How to drive a beast
Motorcycling novel
Words: 510
Warnings: None
Writer's note: Got inspired by "Hitting the Apex"
It all starts with a team boss, your best friend in and out of the circuit. You start with him at the the smallest track of minimotos in the country, and from one day to the next, you are competing in the fastest circuit on the championship.
From a young age they explain the first rule to adhere to, don't fall, stay on the bike. You burn it into your head, but you fall, over and over again, but you get up, always you have to get up, a great driver would.
It's cool getting your personalized helmet, and see the bodywork of your first minibike, but feels different when you put on your suit, and see the world through a visor. You wake up from the dream you had as a child, because it is already a reality, and all you have to do is be the best.
It will sound easy, "Start in a good age, train daily, and reach the premier class, manage to stand out among the 20 best riders in the world and win." I wish it was that easy.
Dad told me don't freak out when I fall, get off the track quickly, see if the bike is okay, and get out of there. Even the best in the world falls and has had its silly failures, but not now.
You have to be lucky, not injure yourself when you fall, recover mentally from a mistake, and stay on top from a very young age.
What a world the things I heard. I used to have a rival, he was much faster than me, They signed him for the European category... He failed. You cannot ask a child out of the blue to be the best in his country, let alone in his continent. But that's how motorcycling works, you adapt quickly or you leave, here the excuse of the team is not valid, it is all about the pilot, how he handles the motorcycle... Being one with the bike.
Without a doubt, the competition is very wide and tough, you have to give the 100% of yourself at all times, if you don't, you fail, it's that easy.
Of course we use electronic aids, otherwise we could not drive such beasts, but... What happens when you put someone young with 19 drivers, to drive a motorcycle that reaches more than 300 kilometers/hour? He falls... A lot, especially in his rookie year, and you have to be lucky for a second chance to shine again, you know, it's easy... Isn't it?
6 red lights, react instantly, accelerate slowly on the line, brake, lean, hit the apex, pick up, accelerate, leaning fairing, brake, knee up and lean, short, dead speed, get up and speed up... Stay on the bike... Stay... On... The bike.
A fall hurts, destroy your motorcycle, and destroy you inside... Broken bones, dislocated joints, lifelong injuries... But that doesn't happen if you're a smart rider, and you adhere to the first rule of motorcycling. Do not fall.

Secure Tank Bags for Travel and Best Motorcycle Accessories
When it comes to motorcycle travel, one of the most critical aspects is ensuring your belongings are secure and easily accessible. Tank bags have emerged as a popular solution for riders seeking both convenience and safety. These bags attach securely to the motorcycle's tank, Best Motorcycle Accessories providing a handy storage option without compromising the bike's balance or the rider's comfort.
Tank bags come in various sizes and designs, catering to different needs and preferences. Some are equipped with clear map holders, which are incredibly useful for long journeys where frequent navigation is required. Additionally, many modern tank bags feature waterproof materials and zippers, ensuring that your belongings remain dry even in adverse weather conditions. Midway through your journey, having a secure tank bag for travel can make a significant difference in how smoothly your trip goes, allowing you to focus more on the ride and less on the logistics of carrying your essentials.
Aside from secure tank bags, there are numerous motorcycle accessories that can enhance your riding experience. High-quality helmets, for instance, are a non-negotiable item for any rider. They not only provide crucial protection but also come with features such as advanced ventilation systems, anti-fog visors, and Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free communication and navigation.
Another essential accessory is the motorcycle jacket. These jackets are designed to offer maximum protection while ensuring comfort. Made from durable materials like leather or advanced synthetics, they include armor at critical points such as the elbows, shoulders, and back. Reflective elements on these jackets also improve visibility during night rides, adding an extra layer of safety.
For those who enjoy long-distance rides, investing in a good pair of motorcycle gloves is vital. Gloves not only protect your hands from the elements but also provide a better grip on the handlebars, reducing fatigue during extended rides. Look for gloves that offer a balance of protection, comfort, and breathability.
Motorcycle luggage systems, such as panniers and tail bags, are also incredibly useful. These accessories allow you to carry more gear without sacrificing stability or handling. Like secure tank bags for travel, these systems are designed to be aerodynamic and robust, ensuring that your belongings are safe and your ride remains smooth.
Lastly, don't overlook the importance of maintenance tools and emergency kits. Carrying a basic toolkit, tire repair kit, and first aid supplies can be a lifesaver in case of unexpected breakdowns or minor accidents. These accessories ensure that you are prepared for any situation, keeping your ride enjoyable and stress-free.
In conclusion, investing in secure tank bags for travel and other essential motorcycle accessories can significantly enhance your riding experience. Whether you are a daily commuter or an adventure enthusiast, these accessories provide the convenience, safety, and peace of mind needed for an enjoyable journey.

Where to Rent
Motorcycles Rental Balioffers an awesome selection of well-maintained bikes for rent, from classic Vespas to heavy-duty Harleys. Their passionate team handles all the paperwork so you can just show up, choose your ride, and take off hassle-free.
Types of Motorcycles
As a tropical island, Bali provides ideal conditions for motorcycle touring. Still, specific bikes work better depending on factors like your destinations, technical riding skills, number of passengers, and more.
Scooters - Best for novice riders and solo travelers, scooters have smaller engines (100-150cc). They're extremely portable for getting around cities and beaches but lack power for Bali's interior hills.
Custom Choppers - For intermediate or advanced riders touring Bali's rugged interior, bigger custom cruisers with 250-500cc engines handle uneven terrain better. Malamadre's custom choppers also score major style points!
Sidecars - Add a sidecar to transport photoshoot gear, surfboards, or an additional passenger in comfort. Sidecars expand touring possibilities to accommodate groups with mixed riding abilities.
Safety Tips
While motorbikes unlock awesome experiences, they do come with real risks. Protect yourself by wearing a helmet, packing proper riding shoes, understanding road rules in advance, and never drinking alcohol before riding. Also, confirm your travel insurance covers motorcycle accidents abroad.
Most importantly, choose a reputable rental company like Malamadre Motorcycles Bali known for premium quality bikes that handle well. Well-maintained machinery drastically reduces the chances of breakdowns or other mechanical issues. You can also get it checked from Motorcycles Garage Bali.
The Open Road Awaits
The road leads to zip-lining past verdant jungle canopies. It pulls over to grab grilled corn from a beach side vendor. You can witness a cricket match in a village square. Hard Hats and Helmets: Protecting Your Head
In many workplaces and recreational activities, protecting your head is of paramount importance. Head injuries can have severe and lasting consequences, making the use of appropriate headgear essential. Whether you’re at a construction site, on a bike, or engaged in any activity where your head could be at risk, hard hats and helmets can be your best friend. In this blog, we’ll explore the significance of these protective headgear and the differences between hard hats and helmets.
The Importance of Head Protection
Head injuries can be life-altering and even fatal. In workplaces like construction sites, manufacturing plants, and warehouses, there’s a high risk of head injuries due to falling objects, impacts, and other hazards. In recreational activities such as cycling, motorcycling, and skateboarding, accidents can result in head injuries if you’re not adequately protected.
Here are some key reasons why head protection is crucial:
Preventing Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs): TBIs can result from blunt force trauma to the head. Even a minor injury can have long-term consequences, affecting cognitive functions, memory, and emotional well-being.
Protecting Against Falling Objects: In many industrial settings, tools, equipment, and materials are in use overhead. A hard hat can shield your head from objects that might fall accidentally.
Minimizing the Impact of Accidents: In recreational activities like cycling or skiing, helmets can help absorb and disperse the force of an impact, reducing the severity of injuries in case of falls or collisions.
Now that we understand why head protection is crucial, let’s explore the differences between hard hats and helmets.
Hard Hats: The Shield of the Construction Worker
Hard hats are a common sight in construction sites, where workers face a daily risk of falling debris, tools, or even slips and falls. They are designed to protect against impacts to the top of the head and are typically made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or another tough plastic material.
Here are some key features of hard hats:
Suspension System: Hard hats have an interior suspension system that provides a cushioning layer between the hat and the head. This suspension system helps absorb and disperse the force of an impact helmets.
Rigid Shell: The outer shell of a hard hat is designed to be rigid to deflect and distribute impact forces.
Variety of Styles: Hard hats come in various styles and types, including cap style and full brim. Some have additional features like sweatbands and chin straps for better fit and comfort.
Customization: Hard hats can be customized with company logos or additional safety features like reflective tape for visibility.
Helmets: Safeguarding Sports Enthusiasts
Helmets are commonly associated with recreational and sporting activities. They come in various forms, including bicycle helmets, motorcycle helmets, and ski helmets. Unlike hard hats, which are primarily designed to protect against falling objects, helmets are created to safeguard against impacts from various angles and directions.
Here’s what you should know about helmets:
Impact Absorption: Helmets are designed to absorb and spread the force of an impact, helping to protect the head from a wider range of threats, plastic face shield including lateral and rotational forces.
Ventilation: Many helmets feature ventilation systems to keep the head cool during physical activity.
Safety Standards: Different sports and activities have their specific safety standards for helmets. Always ensure that your helmet complies with the relevant safety regulations.
Visors and Shields: Some helmets come with integrated visors or face shields, providing additional protection for the face and eyes.
Choosing the Right Headgear
When it comes to choosing the right headgear, it’s essential to consider your specific needs and the environment in which you’ll be using it. Here are some tips for selecting the appropriate head protection:
Understand Your Environment: If you work in an industrial setting with falling objects, a hard hat is the obvious choice. For activities like cycling or skiing, opt for the relevant helmet designed for that sport.
Proper Fit: Regardless of the headgear, it’s crucial that it fits comfortably and securely. A poorly fitting helmet or hard hat can be ineffective and uncomfortable.
Check for Certification: Ensure that the headgear you choose meets relevant safety standards. Look for certifications such as ANSI (American National Standards Institute) for hard hats or CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) for bike helmets, safety helmets.
Inspect Regularly: Regularly inspect your headgear for signs of wear and tear. Replace it if you notice any damage, as compromised headgear can’t provide adequate protection.
In Conclusion
Whether you’re navigating a construction site or hitting the slopes for a day of skiing, head protection is non-negotiable. Hard hats and helmets play a vital role in safeguarding your head from traumatic injuries and accidents. Choosing the right headgear depends on your specific needs and activities, so always do your research and invest in quality head protection. Remember, your safety is worth it.

How to Choose Action Camera
What is an action camera? A sports camera is also called a wearable camera or sports camera, which refers to a small camera that can shoot while exercising or driving, and can be installed on a vehicle or worn on the body. Action cameras need to be highly waterproof and durable due to intense sports, high-speed sports or underwater shooting. How to choose action camera depends on different characteristics according to different shooting requirements.
Sports camera selection strategy 1). Select the image quality, frame rate and viewing angle according to the needs Before choosing an action camera, determine the most used scenes and the subject matter of the shooting, and select the corresponding definition and angle of view. ①If you need high-quality picture quality, choose a camera with a resolution of 4K If the video after shooting needs to be edited and uploaded to share on social media, be sure to choose a high-resolution camera. If you only keep it for yourself to watch, you can choose the resolution of full HD. ②If you are shooting intense sports, choose a camera with a high frame rate (60FPS) Frame rate (FPS) refers to the number of recorded pictures per second. The higher the frame rate, the better the video fluency. 24-30FPS is enough for shooting daily activities. However, if you want to shoot on a skateboard or bicycle, it is recommended to use a high frame rate model of 60FPS, especially in 4K quality to avoid frame jamming. ③Choose the angle of view of the camera as close as possible to 200 degrees Generally speaking, a wide viewing angle is powerful, and a small viewing angle can avoid picture distortion. How does a Leather Motorcycle Jacket Fit? - MotoGP Fitting Manual
How do you fit a leather motorcycle jacket?
The MotoGP Jacket remains the most popular MotoGP gear in the modern world. This is due to its outstanding quality features that make it so popular with the MotoGP sport world. Suzuki motorcycle jackets can provide exceptional protection, as well as a great fit. Innovative designs are desired by many people. Professional riders pay close attention to the quality of their race clothing to ensure they meet all the requirements. It all depends on whether a rider will wear the outfit on the track only or on the streets for the entire day. Each rider needs a different design and fitting.
The professional rider's leather motorcycle jacket should fit as close to your skin as possible. However, the leather motorcycle jacket for street riders should be loose enough to allow for some comfort.
Maher Leather, a well-known firm that produces leather Top gun jacket and other MotoGP gear, is very famous. They use only the highest quality original cowhide to make these wear. Maher Leather also stocks kangaroo and calf leather outfits. Their products are extremely durable, but they also offer exceptional looks and safety features. You can also customize your leather motorcycle jacket. This will make it easy to grip your bike and give you a comfortable ride.
To help you better understand, we took a short note on how to fit a leather motorcycle helmet jacket.
The Fitting Guide to Professional Leather Motorcycle Jackets
Let's discuss the appropriate fit of a racing outfit for riders. Professional riders prefer racing outfits with minimal bulk and high safety features. This includes leather or stretchy fabric. Most prefer custom-sized clothing for their race. They are comfortable and fit well. They want something that is close to their skin and protects them from any untoward events.
You should choose the sungfit costume for this feature. This will provide a great fit at the race track and allow you to perform well during the race. It should have a curving design. For racing, the sleeves and legs must have a pre-curved shape. Pre-bend can give you a good grip on the bike. This will help boost your confidence levels and allow for you to be more focused on the road. The pre-curved race clothing can offer more room to maneuver freely through the curves of the race track.
An accordion-leather paneling in the knee and back is the best option for the race outfit. Your outfit should include stretchable fabric at the arms and in the crotch. Both stretch and accordion leather are great options for comfort and a more relaxed fit. We recommend that you opt for a racing suit that is made of real cowhide, stretch fabric and has a bit more sung in fit, similar to the Maher Leather jackets.
Fitting Guide For Street Leather Motorcycle Jacket
People want to feel relaxed and comfortable when they are out on street riding. It is better to have a slightly looser motorcycle jacket for street riding or riding longer distances. This jacket is ideal for casual riding as well as adventure tours. This will give you enough protection, without making it uncomfortable.
You should make sure that your outfit isn't too loose. You could end up with less protection and possibly fall in a crash. This can lead to severe injuries, including to the elbows or knees.
Conclusion
The conclusion of our study is to choose the smallest, most comfortable jacket for professional racing and a looser jacket for daily riding. Maher Leather will make you the perfect fit, protect and provide the best riding experience.

Hawkmoth was a bitch, and Marinette meant that with every fiber of her soul. Fu was also a bitch, and Marinette actually had good memories of the guy. Not many, but she had some. The fact that the guy got two ten-year-olds to become super heroes and fight a supervillain for him kinda soured those memories, though. But with Chat Noir not allowed to leave his house? Yeah, even as young as they were it only took about a year to find out who HawkMoth was and another year to take him down.
Except, that left Marinette alone. The final battle took her mom away, and Chat had to move out of Paris after his dad was arrested. Luckily Jagged allowed her and her papa to move into his house in Gotham, and everything was…
Well, it was okay. For about a month.
Then her dad was gone too, and she had no way to talk to Jagged, and the police were scaring her—
Yeah, that was the basic order of events that led to where she was now. Pushing fourteen years old, ex-superhero, protector of a magical box of gods, stealing the tires off of a very nice motorcycle.
Marinette was tempted to just take the whole thing, she loved bikes and knew she could drive it. But the thing had more security than she knew what to do with, and the fact that it belonged to Red Hood… she didn’t want to deal with trackers today, thanks. So the tires it was.
Should she maybe care more about the fact that she was stealing from a vigilante with a violent streak? Maybe. Did she? Hell no. For all she knew, maybe Red Hood was a bitch too. (Yes, she was still learning English slang. She was fluent by educational standards, but learning how to curse in a foreign language was fun and she still had a little bit to go. Her few street friends were very happy to help).
A shadow dropped down in front of her, and Marinette’s hero instincts kicked in. The tire iron she was using cut through the air, slamming right into the side of Red Hood’s knee.
—*—*—*—*—*
“Hood,” Batman’s voice grumbled over the comms, instantly grabbing the attention of everyone else who was on the comms. It wasn’t as gruff as he usually sounded, in fact it almost sounded like… he was trying not to laugh?
“Did you get gassed by Joker?” Dick asked before Jason got a chance to respond. “Need backup?”
“No,” Batman responded, sounding a little more composed. “Not a rogue. But Hood, I need you to join me at my location as soon as possible.”
Finally getting the chance to talk, Jason responded a little warily; “Sure, B. Wait,” he blinked at the location that was sent to him. “Isn’t that where my bike is parked?”
Batman didn’t respond at first, only the sound of labored breathing— again, as if he was trying not to laugh. “Just get here, Hood.”
Sighing, but not too mad since the night had been fairly quiet so far, Jason decided to humor the old man and head over. When he could see the cape-clad back of Batman, he easily leapt over the last roof and sauntered over.
“Okay, B,” he had his thumbs tucked in his pockets as he drawled. “What’s the issue?”
Batman was grinning. As in, actually showing amusement. And he just pointed down, straight at Hood’s bike.
Jason rolled his eyes under his helmet, turning to look. At first he didn’t see anything amiss, until he saw movement and looked harder. Oh. Oh, holy shit.
“Is that a kid?”
“Yep,” Batman’s grin grew.
“Is she… stealing my tires?” Hood was so, so glad he wore a helmet that hid his expression. Because… wow.
“Yep,” Batman finally lost his composure, chuckling. “This seems like Karma, don’t you think?”
“And you just watched her so you could rub it in,” Jason groaned, throwing his head back in exasperation. Of course he would. Nobody knew it (except the other heroes who knew him) but Batman was a petty little jerk when he wanted to be. He bought the whole Daily Planet just to spite Clark, for crying out loud.
“Don’t adopt her,” Batman said as he stood up, patting Red Hood’s shoulder. “It looks like she’s almost done.”
“Shit,” Jason hissed, looking down to see that she was, actually, very close to being done. She had already had one tire completely free by the time he had arrived, and now she was only seconds away from getting the other one completely free.
He took a quick assessment— she was tiny, and really thin. Definitely a street kid, he thought, though he didn’t recognize her. He knew most of the street kids that stole to get by, nowadays, which meant she must have been fairly new. But even though she seemed to know what she was doing, her small frame made her take longer unscrewing the tires than it normally would have taken. Sure that she wasn’t a threat by any stretch of the imagination, he jumped down. His plan had been to startle her a little by showing up out of nowhere, but he didn’t want to scare her too badly. Just make her jump a little.
But he had underestimated her, it seemed. Without wasting a second, she jumped up and swung her tire iron at his knee. He cursed, she was a lot faster than her had been expecting. He was able to move so that the weapon only clipped the side of his knee, his knee pad thankfully taking the worst of it. She still hit hard enough to make him stumble and hiss in pain though, which was an accomplishment.
That’s when she abandoned her weapon and her tires, darting to try and escape only for Batman to drop down and block her escape. Though really, it was the grin Batman had that scared the girl most of all, apparently, making her slowly back away from him.
“Please stop smiling,” she begged with a faint French accent to her words. “It is not natural.”
That made Red Hood laugh, already recovered and right behind her. He plopped a gloved hand on her head.
“I know, it’s creepy right?” He joked. “What’cha doin’ stealing my tires, kid? I kinda need them to drive anywhere,” he was careful to keep his voice light and devoid of any anger. He wasn’t really upset, all told. It would be hypocritical of him if he was.
She looked between the two vigilantes for a moment, clear intelligence behind those bright blue eyes as she seemed to consider something. Suddenly she pulled away from Red Hood and stepped away from his reach, straightening up and trying to look tall.
“My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng,” she said as firmly as she could. “My father was Tom Dupain, he was killed in a mugging three months ago. We were living in a house that our family friend leant to us after my mother’s death six months ago, and we moved here from Paris. I haven’t been able to contact him, and the police… I don’t trust them,” she admitted, clearly seeing this as the chance she had been waiting for. “I have been living on the streets since my father died. I am sorry for trying to steal your tires, Monsieur Red Hood. But it was a risk I had to take.”
“Did you expect us to catch you?” He asked, crossing his arms as he re-evaluated the girl. She was a lot stronger than he had assumed earlier, both physically and mentally. She seesawed her hand to indicate ‘kinda’.
“Even if you didn’t, I could make good money off your tires,” she justified with a shrug. “To me, I would win either way.”
“Who is your family friend? Can he help you now, take you in?” Batman asked, moving forward and kneeling down to be closer to Marinette’s height. Neither he nor Jason had missed the part where she was an orphan, but they had expected that considering what they had caught her doing. And they both knew that she wasn’t likely to take any apologies they tried to offer very well. It was best not to show pity, or she might get angry.
Marinette frowned. “... Our family friend is Jagged Stone. He lets me call him Uncle Jagged,” she told them, clearly expecting the disbelieving grunts they gave. “I mean it! You can call him, he might even be looking for me! I—“
“We know,” Hood assured her, now kneeling down as well. Man, she was short. “Calm down, we know you’re telling the truth. Jagged has made several public announcements about his missing honorary niece, we just didn’t recognize your name right away. And Jagged doesn’t have access to very many pictures of you, those he does have the Mayor isn’t allowing him to show because that spineless jackass—“
“Language, Hood.”
“—Cares more about keeping bad press off the air than finding a kid, even if it’s a world famous rockstar who’s asking. That’s probably why you haven’t heard anything, the mayor’s keeping it off the radio and not many reporters are brave enough to take the story and get on his bad side.”
“Oh…” Marinette took a deep breath, fighting the tears that were threatening to rise up. “He has been looking…” she sniffled, curling in on herself a little. “Can you take me to him?”
“I think we can do that,” Batman agreed, standing up. “I’ll contact him. Red Hood, can you handle everything here until I give you a place to meet up with Jagged Stone?”
Jason nodded. “No problem, B. Come on, little rabid pixie. Step one of gettin’ you back to your uncle is to help me fix my bike back up.”
Marinette sighed, shoulders dropping. “All my hard work, undone…” she playfully complained. But in the end she didn’t argue or fight against it, she just sat down and helped him reattach his tires.
All the while, Jason’s family kept teasing him over the comms. Clearly they were also thoroughly amused by the cosmic display of karma.
“...Monsieur Hood,” Marinette asked once they were done repairing the motorcycle and he had given her his too-big extra helmet. He tilted his head a bit to show he was listening. She squirmed. “Can… can we stop by my hideout? I have something really important I have to get.”
Jason smiles gently under his mask. She might not have been a street kid for very long, but she really did bring back some memories for him. He got on his bike and held a hand out to her.
“Sure thing kid. Wanna grab something to eat after? Can’t have a reunion on an empty stomach.”
She gave him a lopsided smile— not quite overjoyed, but definitely hopeful and thankful. Maybe this was the end of her streak of bad luck, she could only hope.
“Only if you don’t mind, Monsieur Hood,” she agreed before taking his hand and letting him help her onto the bike.
“No skin off my back, pixie,” he assured her. Then they were off. He followed her directions until they got to an abandoned building about three miles away, not in a good part of town at all but at least not in crime alley. Marinette easily led him through the building, skirting around other piles of ratty blankets and up broken stairs until they got to the badly-maintained top floor. She led him over to an almost invisible door in the concrete wall that pulled out to reveal what was probably a broom closet once upon a time. It was crowded with what looked like junk and empty boxes, along with a few blankets and two or three changes of clothes that were clearly her’s. A few belongings scattered around— a book, a small pink purse, and… Marinette came out of the pile of mess holding what had clearly been a very carefully hidden box. She also grabbed the purse and slung it over her shoulder, but didn’t seem worried about anything else.
Jason frowned at the box. It wasn’t that big, but it was clearly made of old wood. There were intricate carvings that were painted pink, in a symbol that was itching at the back of his mind. He recognized that symbol, but from where?
“Ready to go, kid?” He asked as he thought about it, getting a nod from Marinette. Twenty minutes later they were at a Batburger, sitting in a shaded booth that couldn’t be seen from the street.
She never let the box out of her sight. She kept it on the seat next to her, and Jason noticed that she tried to keep one hand on it at all times. But when she spoke, now her French accent stood out to him even more than before. But why—?
And then it clicked. Paris. Hawkmoth. Ladybug, Chat Noir, magic artifacts called Miraculous. Wonder Woman had raised a fuss when the heroes disappeared, declaring that something was wrong but she couldn’t put her finger on what. Then the magic users they trusted were called in, and returned from Paris with the grim news that the former Guardian of those artifacts had activated a failsafe and passed the guardianship on to someone else while erasing his own memories at the same time. But nobody knew who he could have passed it on to, so Batman had been given the green light to do all the research he and his team could into the Miraculous box to try and help track it down.
And here it was. The carvings were in pink now, which might have been the “cosmetic change” that Constantine had mentioned might happen when the box changed guardians. He had found the box full of super powerful magical artifacts… in the hands of a newly orphaned street kid who couldn’t have been older than fourteen at best.
What the hell?
“...” Red hood reached into his pocket and pulled out an old receipt and a sharpie. He scrawled on the back of the receipt and handed to Marinette. The girl was halfway into a bite of her burger when he did, and blinked at him owlishly before swallowing and cautiously reaching out to grab it. She frowned at the numbers scrawled there.
“What’s this?” She asked.
“My contact info,” he explained. “I won’t ask questions about why you have that box,” he watched her instantly stiffen but continued as casually as he could; “but it doesn’t matter. You can call me if you ever need help with anything, kid. Help with that box, help if you get in trouble in Gotham again, or even if you’re having a bad day. You can call me for whatever, got it? I don’t care if you think it’s stupid, if you can’t talk to anyone else in your life you can always call or text me and I’ll do whatever I can. Got it?”
“...” Marinette sniffled for a second and looked down at the table in silence for a second. “... what if I want your motorcycle?” she joked, but the watery tone of her voice gave her away.
Jason laughed, patting her head. “I need my bike, but we can talk about getting you your own once you are old enough to get a license. You almost done? Bats says that Jagged is ready to meet you, I can take you to him right now.”
“Yeah, lets go!” she was newly energized and shoved the last bite of burger into her mouth greedily. “And Red Hood?” She asked as they headed out to where he had parked.
“Yeah, kid?”
“Thanks.”

In Case You Don’t Live Forever
~chapter seven rewritten~
Pairing: Peter Parker x Venom!Reader
Synopsis: you are Peters greatest love and Spider-Man’s greatest enemy
Series Masterlist
Peter walked to campus that day with an extra bounce in his step. He couldn’t keep himself from leaping over the school gate, not caring who could’ve seen. He was in love. He walked past Flash with confidence, easily brushing off his backhanded comments. He walked up to Ned and felt oddly compelled to click his heels. Ned noticed the ecstatic expression on his best friends face and smirked.
“What’s got you so happy? Did a certain wall crawling superhero finally beat Venom in a fight?” He asked. Peter shook his head.
“Not yet. Something even better happened.” Peter said proudly.
“And what might that be?” Ned wondered. Peter could barely keep himself from screaming.
“Y/n kissed me.” He exclaimed. He got a few strange looks from passing students on their way to class, but Peter didn’t care. Nothing could ruin his mood.
“What? When? ” Ned gasped.
“This morning. She slept over last night after she had a nightmare. And guess what else?” Peter asked. Ned bounced up and down.
“What? Tell me!” Ned demanded. Peter looked around for who could be listening and smirked.
“She slept in my bed.” He smirked.
“Oh.” Ned said looked disappointed in the anticlimactic finish.
“With me in it.” Peter added and Ned looked amazed. His jaw hung open and he began to bounce up and down again.
“Dude that’s like the greatest thing ever.” Ned cheered. “She’s so hot! We have to tell everyone.”
“We’re not telling anyone just yet.” He shook his head. “She’s only been my girlfriend for a few hours. She’s really special to me, Ned. I don’t want to treat her like shes some prize I won by telling everyone. Girls are worth more than that.”
“Amen to that. What are you losers talking about anyway?” MJ said as she approached them. She was eating trail mix and looked extremely bored already.
“Peter has a girlfriend.” Ned blurted. Peter shot him an angry look while MJ looked impressed.
“Oh really? Who is she, your right hand?” MJ smirked. Ned looked confused while Peters face went red.
“It’s not my right hand. She lives in my building and she’s an angel. That’s all you need to know.” Peter grumbled, still annoyed that Ned spilled his secret. It wasn’t that he was ashamed of you, the exact opposite actually. He would shout it from the rooftops that you were together if he could. He just didn’t want everyone to know. You had only kissed that morning and Peter still wanted to keep the magical details to himself.
“Does this angel have a name?” MJ questioned, actually interested in something for once.
“No.” Peter said at the same time Ned said “Y/n L/n.”
“Y/n L/n from The L/n Report?” MJ was suddenly invested. It was the first time Peter or Ned heard emotion in her voice.
“You know her?” Peter asked.
“Duh.” MJ scoffed. “She’s the only investigative reporter I’ve seen who actually cares about the people she reports on. I read her articles all the time. We have a lot of the same opinions. I used to think she was the coolest girl ever.”
“Used to think?” Ned asked.
“Well clearly something’s wrong with her if she’s dating Peter.” MJ said flatly. Ned laughed and Peter looked at her angrily.
“There’s nothing wrong with her. She’s amazing.” Peter defended.
“I know she is.” MJ shrugged. “I’ve idealized that girl for year. Did you guy see what she did to Carlton Drake?” Peter nodded and smiled proudly at the thought of his girl kicking names and taking ass.
“She’s like my hero. She’s done so much for the homeless back in San Francisco. I was so excited when she said she was moving to New York to work for The Daily Bugle.” MJ gushed. Peter and Ned looked at each other, visibly confused.
“Have you always done that?” Ned asked her.
“Done what?” MJ asked.
“Felt things?” Ned said and MJ rolled her eyes.
“I feel very passionate about a lot of things. Those things just don’t happen to include you two or anyone else in this school. However, I am very passionate about your girlfriend.” MJ stated. She suddenly looked a little uncomfortable and unsure of herself, two things MJ never did. She awkwardly turned to Peter.
“Do you think I could meet her? I’d really love to talk to her about her article on fracking.” MJ asked slowly. She wasn’t used to asking people for things. Peters eyes softened at this new side of MJ.
“She’s picking me up after class today on her motorcycle. You can meet her then.” Peter offered. Then MJ did something very out of character.
She smiled.
“K thanks.” She blurted and then swiftly left. Ned and Peter laughed as she walked away.
“That was new.” Ned commented.
“Yes It was.” Peter agreed.
“She’s so odd.” Ned added.
“Yes, she is.”
“Did you do the hanky panky with Y/n?” Ned asked. Peter snapped his head towards Ned.
“What?” Peter flushed red. “No. And never say ‘hanky panky’ again.”
“It was worth asking. See you in orgo.” Ned said before walking towards his class. Peter shook his head in amusement before heading to his first class of the day.
At 3:30, you pulled up to Peters college on your motorcycle. You took off your helmet, shook your hair out, and scanned the crowd for Peter. You soon saw him, Ned following shortly behind him, and a girl you had never seen before. She wasn’t wearing makeup, which you gave her props for, and had her curly hair tied back in a pony tail. She was undeniably pretty and had a very cool vibe to her.
“Hi beautiful.” Peter said when he reached you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and hugged you tightly. “It’s torture not being with you all day.”
“I know. But the school year is almost over right? Then we can spend every second together.” You promised. Peter smiled happily. He leaned in slightly, as if asking for your permission, and you did the same. You pressed a soft kiss to his lips. He smiled into the kiss and held you closer. This time, there were no interruptions.
“Y/n, I’d like you to meet MJ. MJ, this is Y/n.” Peter said, gesturing to the girl. MJ smiled shyly at you and held out her hand.
“It’s really cool to meet you, Y/n. Your article on greenhouse gases is hanging on my wall. I’m uh, I’m a big fan.” She said timidly.
“You’re a fan? That’s amazing.” You smiled brightly at her. “I’ve never met a fan before. It’s really cool to meet you too, MJ. And if you’re interested in the environment, I have a bunch of scientists numbers I can give you. I had to interview a bunch back in San Francisco to write that article. They gave me some great tips on how to reduce my carbon footprint.” MJ’s eyes widened just a little. She looked baffled and gave you a thankful smile. You noticed one of her front teeth was slightly askew and decided you liked her already.
“Really? That’d be so cool. Thanks.” She said. You squeezed her arm and nodded.
“I think you and I are going to get along just fine. Can I get your number? I’d love to hear more about what you’re interested in.” You handed MJ your phone and she took it. She typed her number it and handed it back.
“This has been really amazing. Thanks for being so cool. I have to run though. I’m running a protest outside of Oscorp.” She explained. “One of their employees got seriously electrocuted and they’re to cover it up.”
“Really?” You gasped. “Is it okay if I tag along? I’m kinda busy with my Cletus Kasady story but I would love to cover your protest too.”
“You’d do that for me?” She asked as if she wasn’t used to people doing things for her.
“Gladly. Can I join? I can give you a ride there.” You offered. She smiled at you and toyed with the strings on her backpack.
“That’d be great. See you losers later.” MJ gave Peter and Ned a peace sign and climbed onto your bike. You gave Peter a quick peck on the lips and got on the bike as well. Peter watched as MJ wrapped her arms around your waist and smirked at him. You two sped off towards Oscorp, leaving Peter and Ned in your wake.
“Dude.” Ned laughed. “MJ just stole your girlfriend.”
“Shut up. No she didn’t.” Peter said. Did she though? You seemed to hit it off with her pretty quickly. Peter didn’t know MJ too well but he knew she was guarded and didn’t let people in easily. In fact, she didn’t let anyone in. And yet, you and her had become best friends in a matter of minutes.
Heading back from Oscorp a few hours later, you saw a familiar hat bobbing up and down in the street. You were about to call out Neds name when two guys came from around the corner. They looked mean and you could hear Ned’s heartbeat rising. You quickly ran over to him.
“Hey.” You panted. Ned looked relived to see you.
“Oh hey Y/n. How’d your date with MJ go?” He teased. You shoved him slightly.
“It wasn’t a date. She’s really cool though. I think we’re going to be good friends.” You said as you passed the two guys. You soon heard a whistle.
“Damn baby. Where you going with him? Don’t you wanna stay here and have some fun?” one of the guys called. You looked at Ned and picked up your pace.
“I know you heard me beautiful. Stop running before I give you a reason to run.” The man said again, louder this time.
“Keep walking.” You whispered to Ned.
“I said stop running.” The man shouted, this time, his threat was accompanied by the sound of a gun cocking. You and Ned froze in your steps. The two men slowly approached you, all while pointing the gun level with your head.
“That’s better.” One man said when he reached you. “Now, how about this. You come with me, or I shoot your friend. Does that sound fair?”
“I better call Peter. He’ll know what to do.” Ned panicked.
“No need.” You growled as your transformed into Venom. You marched up to the guy and grabbed him by the shoulders in a death grip. You spit at a nearby newspaper in the ground. The newspaper quickly disintegrated and left nothing but smoke behind. You smiled devilishly at the man, grateful for a chance to show off your acidic saliva.
“What was that?” The man cowered in your grasp. Meanwhile, his friend ran away terrified.
“Acid spit. Still want me to come with you?” Venom purred. The man whimpered and shook his head furiously.
“Didn’t think so. Now, if you don’t tell us the names of ten historical feminists who would be very disappointed in your sorry ass by the time I count to ten, we’re going to eat you. Does that sound fair?” Venom growled as the man shut his eyes in fear.
“One.” You began to count.
“Uh…” He whimpered.
“Two.”
“Um.” He raked his minuscule brain for answered but came up empty handed.
“Ten.” You said and bit his head off. You quickly ate the rest of his body before turning back into yourself. You wiped your hands and patted your stomach before turning around and making eye contact with Ned, completely forgetting he was there.”
“You’re Venom?!” He gasped as he pointed at you in horror. You ran up to him and covered his mouth.
“What? No.” You lied. “How do you know about Venom anyway?”
“It’s you. I can’t believe it’s you.” Ned exclaimed when you took your hand off his mouth. You were getting more and more confused.
“You’re Venom. You, Y/n, are Venom.” He repeated as if it all made sense now.
“Play dumb.” Venom whispered.
“What? I’m not Venom. What makes you say that?” You stammered.
“Not that dumb!” She yelled. Ned looked at you and laughed, still in shock.
“You and Peter are perfect for each other, you know that? You’re both dumb as shit.” He laughed. You had to laugh a little as well.
“You’re Venom and Peter is…do you know about Peter?” Ned suddenly asked.
“What about Peter?” You didn’t understand what he meant. Neds eyes went wide, and then filled with sadness.
“Nothing. Don’t worry about it.” He shook his head. “Are you gonna tell him about this? Because I’m going to be very honest with you, I’m terrible at keeping secrets. I don’t know if I can keep this from him.”
“I’m gonna tell him eventually. So please, don’t say anything.” You pleaded. “He has to hear it from me. I’m sorry that I’m making you lie to your best friend but this is a very unique situation.”
“It’s a lot more unique than you think.” He muttered. “I won’t tell him.”
“Thank you.” You hugged him tightly, thankful that he was safe and keeping your secret. You walked Ned home and began to make your way back to the apartment building. You wanted nothing more than to cuddle with Peter and forget the day. After all, you missed him all day at school. It was bearable when you guys were just friends, but now that he was your boyfriend you never wanted to be apart.
When you were just a few blocks from your apartment, you felt a strong arm wrap around your neck and hold you in place. Suddenly, there was a knife to your throat.
“I saw what you did to my buddy, you little freak. Now, how about you get down on those pretty little knees before I kill you?” The man threatened. You turned your neck as much as you could and recognized your attacker as the mans friend who ran away from earlier. You sighed deeply. You were full and trying to keep your body count to a minimum, but he was just asking for it. You shut your eyes and were about to turn into Venom when you heard a voice from behind you.
“Now that’s no way to treat a lady.” The voice rang. You recognized it as Peters voice. The guy was quickly pulled away from you as if by some kind of rope. You heard some sort of webbing going on behind you and small cries of struggling from the man.
“Are you alright Miss?” Peter asked.
“I’m fine, Peter.” You said, finally turning around. Instead of seeing your boyfriend, you saw the friendly neighborhood pain in the ass. He had webbed your attacker to the wall and was now looking right at you. You had seen him so many times before, and he’d seen you, but never like this. You felt almost naked, standing before Spider-Man as Y/n instead of Venom.
“Oh.” You said, startled. “I’m sorry. I thought you were someone else.”
“Yea. This is a pretty popular outfit.” Spider-Man joked, gesturing to his skin tight suit. You bit your tongue. He was funny, but you couldn’t let him know that. You were enemies after all. He just didn’t realize it was you.
“Thanks for saving me.” You blurted. “But I had the situation handled.”
“You’re right. You especially looked like you had it handled when he was about to stab and murder you.” Spider-Man said sarcastically. You found him oddly charming, despite your history.
“What are you gonna do with him?” You asked, pointing to the man webbed to the wall.
“I heard what he said to you. I’m going to register him as a sex offender and ruin his life. Unless, you had other plans. You know, since you had the situation handled.” Spiderman remarked. You playfully rolled your eyes. You did have other plans. Plans that involved eating him and digesting him while you cuddled with Peter. But Spider-Mans plan was okay too.
“Alright. I’ll see you around Spider-Man.” You said, giving the superhero one last look. There was something familiar about him. Spider-Man nodded.
“See you around. And please, be careful. Don’t walk alone. I don’t want to see you get hurt.” He said and turned back to the man.
You went home, showered, and got into some comfy clothes. You missed your boyfriend dearly and went to his apartment to see him.
After being let in by May, you went into Peters room and flopped on his bed. He was sat at his desk doing homework.
“Did you mean what you said about me sleeping over whenever I wanted?” You asked, voice muffled by his pillow.
“Of course I did.” He swiveled around to look at you and noticed your body language. “What’s wrong, love?”
“I’ve had a long day and I want to cuddle my boyfriend.” You pouted. Peter smiled at you calling him your boyfriend. He closed his textbook and climbed into bed with you. You rested your head on his chest, right over his heart. The sound of his heartbeat calmed you down and you felt sleepy.
“Did you make any progress on your story?” He asked. You shook your head as he began to run his fingers through your hair. You hummed in content and pressed a small kiss to his neck. He blushed at the affection and held you closer.
“No.” You groaned. “I’ve had the worst writers block all day. I was actually thinking of writing an article on Spider-Man until my writers block went away.”
After your encounter with the masked hero, you wanted to know more about him. You were originally against your boss’s idea to write about him, but now you liked it. Sure, there were plenty of articles on Spider-Man out there, but you knew him intimately.
“Spider-Man?” You felt Peters heart stop momentarily. “Why?”
“I think I have a pretty good shot at figuring out who he is.” You shrugged. “Like, think about it, he only operates from the hours of 4 to midnight ish right? Except, on weekends, when he’s seen all throughout the day. What’s he doing all day on weekdays? He can’t be at work because jobs don’t end that early. I think he’s in school. Either high school or college. Probably college though, right? I can’t imagine a high schooler doing what he does. Unless he’s been doing this since high school. That’s also possible.”
“Oh wow.” Peter said, dumbfounded. He was usually blown away by your intelligence, but now it was working against him. There were a million college students in New York, though. Surely you wouldn’t figure it out.
“And think about this, he’s only ever in New York, so he must live here right?” You continued. “But what about that one time he saved those kids in the Washington Monument? What was New York’s superhero doing in Washington? I looked into it and the kids he saved were on a field trip. What if Spider-Man was on the field trip too? If I look up all the schools that were there, I could create a list of suspects and go from there. Then, I could-“ you were cut off with a kiss.
“Let’s not talk about Spider-Man.” Peter said quickly, followed by a smile. “I want to hear about you day. How was Oscorp?”
“We had a really good time.” You smiled. “I interviewed her after I helped her with the protest and then we grabbed lunch. Oh, and I saw Ned on my way home.”
“You saw Ned?” Peter asked. Ned hadn’t mentioned seeing you.
“Yea.” You blew out a breath. “These two guys attacked us. One ran away and I took care of the other. But then the one that ran away came back and you’ll never guess who saved me.”
“Who?” Peter smiled. He knew who.
“Spider-Man. I don’t know. I was wrong about him. I used to think he was just some guy in spandex with a God complex but now I think he just genuinely wants to help people. And…” you trailed off.
“And?” Peter raised an eyebrow.
“He’s got a nice ass.” You admitted. Peter laughed loudly. You smiled into his chest. You loved that damn laugh.
“I’m serious.” You insisted. “I saw it as he walked away and it knocked me out. Spider-Man is dummy thick.”
“Please never say the words “Spider-Man is dummy thick” in my house again.” Peter pleaded. He secretly loved it though.
“I was actually thinking of making that the title of my article.” You joked. Peter laughed again. He chucked a pillow at you and you giggled.
“Let’s go to bed.” You yawned. “In a romantic, but still non sexual way this time.”
“Good night, my Nancy Drew.” Peter said with a kiss to your forehead.
“Goodnight, my whoever Nancy Drew was boning.” You yawed again.
“Ned Nickerson.” Peter laughed.
“Then goodnight Ned Nickelodeon.” You said, half asleep.
“Close enough.” Peter smiled.
