Leh Ladakh Tour Packages From Mumbai.
The best place to book your Leh Ladakh tour packages from Mumbai is online. You can find plenty of options on the web, but you should also be aware of the costs. A good hotel in Leh costs around 500-1000 per day, and you will have to pay for permit fees and entrance fees to the monasteries. In addition to these costs, you will have to take care of other expenses, such as food and travel. A trip to Leh Ladakh requires anywhere from ten to fifteen days, so it is advisable to book your tour packages early to ensure that you don't have to make any last-minute changes.
A Leh Ladakh tour from Mumbai will take you to the famous Magnetic Hill, as well as the Nubra valley. You'll also have the opportunity to see the local Ladakhi home and ride Bactrian camels. The tour will also include stops at the Gurudwara Shri Patthar Sahib, which was built in honor of Guru Nanak. On the way, you'll also stop at Alchi Gompa, which is home to thousands of miniature Buddha pictures.
If you are interested in experiencing nature at its best, consider booking a Leh Ladakh tour package from Mumbai. The destination is a true paradise for trekkers, bikers, and explorers. And while you're there, be sure to take some time to explore the area with your family. You won't regret it! So make the most of your vacation by booking a Leh Ladakh tour package from Mumbai and get to experience the majestic beauty of the Himalayan Mountains.
Once you've landed in Leh, you'll be met by a Esikkim Tours representative at the airport and taken to your hotel. Before dinner, you'll have a chance to visit the Shanti Stupa and local markets. You'll also have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and take part in local shopping. After dinner, you'll be returned to your hotel in Leh for the night.
The best time to visit Ladakh is between April and mid-September, when temperatures are mild and not too cold. You'll want to avoid the coldest months, which are December and January. This time of year is ideal for a relaxing trip to Ladakh, but don't forget that you'll be trekking through the snow-capped mountains in the winter. If you're interested in hiking, you should book a Leh Ladakh tour package during this time.
During the summer, you should visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake that's known as the white lake. You can spot a variety of birds near the lake, including the rare snow leopard. Be sure to visit this stunning lake in the summer months because it freezes over during the colder winter months. And don't forget to take in the pristine beauty of the Himalayan landscape.
Be sure to pack a light, insulated water bottle, as many of the meals in Leh Ladakh are very small. You'll also want to bring dry snacks from home and insulated water bottles. You'll also need to bring some cash, as ATMs can be sparse in high altitude regions. Lastly, you'll also need to carry a valid passport and insurance cover to enjoy the beauty of the region.

Week 5.5 of 2018 😢 / BKK DAY 1 🍗
Quick update on the past 3 days before I can get into bkk updates hehehe I’m calling this week 5.5 😂
Workload started piling up on Monday, but I expected it although I didn’t think it would get that insane.
Tumblr media
Alexandra food village’s dry ban mian with J and Qien for dinner that day 🙃 Had a side of 10 gyozas cos jer said it was nice. Gyozas were good, just that 3 is my max hahaha Oh yes, I have to mention that the auntie making my teh ice was so precise that she was using a weighing machine to weigh every single ingredient she added into the drink 😂😂 The drink turned out nice so I guess it was worth her effort? lololol
Took a bus then train back, and while we were on the train, J suddenly said “wah so fast potong pasir already!” Literally 1sec later the train announcement came “Next station, clarke quay” LOLOLOL WE LAUGHED UNTIL 😂😂😂
Tumblr media
Skipped chiro on tues cos I couldn’t afford to leave work half an hour earlier. Met J for dinner and dk how we decided on 4 fingers haha maybe the only fried chicken I willingly eat 👌🏻 I’ll try the spicy ones next time hehe
Tumblr media
Quickly went home to get started on packing. I only managed clothes before I turned in for the night but it was a good call to start a day early cos Wed was SHIT 😭
Told J that I was nervous for the meeting on Wed and I was right to be nervous. It went pretty badly and the amount of work to be done after the meeting........ Couldn’t help but feel like my bkk trip came at a wrong time.
Tumblr media
Had a quick lunch of dry ban mian at vivo (I see a pattern too lolol) before we headed back to office, where I spent the rest of the work day going through an insane number of files FML
Tumblr media
As if I didn’t have enough on my plate already, my period decided to come a couple days early 😭😭😭 I was praying it would come after the trip. Oh well, I am at least grateful it didn’t come halfway ya? Popped a panadol before I headed back to files I CRY. MY DOG LIFE
Tumblr media
Did what I could and left office with my boss after 11 hours of the grind. Through shit like this, I am eternally grateful for a nice boss ✨
Tumblr media
Wanted to cry when I realised there was no food at home but I sucked it up and called my mum to takeaway some food for me. I had to wait maybe an hour but I took the opportunity to chill a little cos I could feel myself being very panicky. Mum came back with oyster omelette, which I enjoyed with KUWTK 😌
Tumblr media
And then it was time to pack......... I didn’t leave much time for myself evidently, so I only got to bed around 1am? Holy, that’s 3 hours of packing wtf ray how????????
BKK DAY 1 🇹🇭
Tumblr media
Tore myself out of bed at 6:15 in the morning cos I still had last minute packing to do plus this was the first time I had to call a cab to the airport myself 😅 Usually my parents fetch me there or they’re the ones calling a cab when we travel tgt haha so I was understandably a little panicky cos there were so many unknowns!!!!
Tumblr media
Didn’t have to worry myself that much cos I got a cab easily (fare was $30 though wtfff) and reached the airport with a lot of time to spare.
Tumblr media
Checked in and this was our first stop.... We made plans to check out the YSL outlet here, to see if the wallet I liked was cheaper since duty free and all?
Tumblr media
WE BOUGHT IT 😍😍😍 I was 90% decided that I really wanted the wallet already so when it was $60 cheaper than retail stores, I pretty much handed my card over immediately hahahaha I am so happy ✨✨✨ J says she wants to get it for me as a christmas cum birthday gift but we’ll see!
Tumblr media
Yakun for breakfast, where they forced us to get large cups of drinks so obv I couldn’t finish??? Oh yes, the two evian bottles were from the YSL sales assistant haha went back to return a bottle afterwards cos it was unopened.
Tumblr media
While waiting for J ✨
Tumblr media
我的头发很乱
Tumblr media
Boarded! HAHA I LUV THE HOOD omg 😂😂😂 So kewt and I even managed some sleep on the plane, which is gr8 considering the flight’s only 2 hours ✈️
Tumblr media
我爱我的鞋子👟 Asked my mum to look at my new shoes and she said “you bought new shoes again???? Ray, when you go bkk, you just eat, don’t buy clothes and shoes ok. Just eat” LOLOL I replied with “good joke mum”
Tumblr media
Landed, settled sim card and hopped on a cab to our hotel! The ride took ages due to the jam, and J scared me cos she told me there was no meter in the cab??? She still said “hope we don’t have to fight about the fare later” 😂😂 I also quickly went to check my past dayre post and gathered that the fare should be roughly 600baht. Turns out meter was on all the while haha and the driver only charged us 500 phew no fight phew phew
We booked berkeley again cos it was a pretty good deal and we’re so familiar with the hotel/it’s location. Paid for late check out on monday as well since our flight’s only at 6pm. Spent a long time in our room waiting for my phone to charge 🙄 But I took the opp to quickly unpack everything.
Tumblr media
Before we left the hotel!
Tumblr media
J was starving by then so we stopped by mr shake at central world. My milk tea was pretty good but the calamansi drink she wanted wasn’t in stock so she ended up with plum green tea which wasn’t nice 😅
Continued with our walk to siam! I love how familiar we are with everything, such that we rmb how to walk everywhere without the need to google map 👌🏻👌🏻 J was asking me if I knew where inter was, and I said “ya just go to siam square, cut through the tiny stores then exit, cross the pedestrian crossing with the police and turn left” WHERE DID THIS INFO COME FROM????? IDK
Tumblr media
First food stop: Inter! I think this is J’s and my favourite restaurant in bkk. The food is v good and inexpensive, what more can you ask for? Got the water mimosa again but asked for it to be less spicy cos my dayre reminded me that it was too spicy for us the last time we were here haha tried a new fried fish which turned out pretty good surprisingly! Erm the curry beef was a mistake on my part haha I wanted to order red curry with beef but idk why it became this dish instead 😂
Curry was great but there were a lot of fatty beef parts so overall, a no go for us 🙅🏻‍♀️
Tumblr media
STAR OF THE SHOW ⭐️ Couldn’t go to inter without ordering our fav wings!!!!! Still as good as before omg Bill came up to less than $25 I LUV BKK
Tumblr media
Shopped around siam square and exercised tremendous self control. Only bought myself a phone cover for $6 hehe proud proud Continued wandering around the area then stopped by watsons and bath and body works to get our bkk essentials - large packet of tissue and hand sanitizer LOLOL
Tumblr media
📍Hokkaido Cheese Toast @ Siam Square Before we came to bkk, I was telling J that the cheese toast originated from here so we should eat the one here haha forgot all about it until we changed upon it at siam! Best things is there wasn’t a queue at all hehe and they had the strawberry & matcha flavours that I think aren’t out yet in singapore?
Tumblr media
But we’re basic af, so we just got an original to share amongst the both of us! Smart decision to share cos it got a bit too much towards the end. Dk how much it is in singapore but it’s 69baht here!
Tumblr media
🧀🧀🧀 Verdict: I quite liked it! The bread was nicely toasted and the cheese was really stretchy, not too heavy tasting. There was this creamy liquid filling inside which I didn’t like, and which is why I said it got too much towards the end haha might not eat this again, but glad I tried.
Tumblr media
Got a bit thirsty while walking around and went in search of their koi outlet. Found it and was so pleasantly surprised that they had small sizes!!! How cute is this small green tea macchiato omg the lady helps to poke the straw in and she makes sure the straw goes through the O in KOI hahahaha i luv it they are so cute
Tumblr media
Aesthetics 101 with this random cafe on the middle of the mall 🌿 There’s really nothing much in siam leh. I think I said this last year already hahaha plus the malls are quite confusing so we end up at the same place after walking for ages. Decided to head back to our hotel after a bit and J suggested we take a train from siam to chit lom, which is just a stop.
Not smart cos the train station was a bit confusing to manoeuvre around plus we hit peak hour I think. And it was only after we alighted at chit lom did we realise that our hotel’s in the middle between siam and chit lom haha so it would have been smarter to just walk from siam. Oh well, you learn new things everyday!
Tumblr media
Was supposed to have after you but we were craving salty food so we headed to the hotel to rest before dinner at talad neon.
Tumblr media
Took us a while to get out of the room haha talad neon’s super super near to our hotel which is great cos my poor feet 😅 J got a coconut drink and we walked around a bit. I love talad neon leh!!! But I can understand when people say there’s nothing much to do here. I just like it for its cleanliness, close proximity to our hotel and there’re still a decent number of shops 👌🏻
Tumblr media
Took such a nice photo of J ✨✨ Dinner at hubba shrimps, essentially a cheaper version of dancing crab haha vibes were...... thai disco-ish 😂😂
Tumblr media
Hello it’s me 😌
Tumblr media
📍Hubba Shrimps @ Talad Neon Got the one with mixed seafood, which contained shrimps, two different kinds of mussels, squid, clams, corn and potatoes. Asked for the sauce to be less spicy but less spicy in thailand doesn’t mean much lolol the sauce was v tasty though!! But the seafood was okay only, not very fresh/tasty. Overall a decent meal for less than 500 baht
Tumblr media
💕 Continued walking around for a bit before heading back to our hotel to walk around the night market downstairs. Got myself only 2 pieces of clothing that day 😌
Tumblr media
Yet another wrap dress from talad neon for 250 baht. As expected, it’s too big on me but I’ll make it work by looping the waist bands around my waist to give the dress some shape. It’s a little sheer as well so will have to put on an inner lining. Otherwise, I do like the cut and prints 🌾
Tumblr media
This mustard top from the night market below our hotel for 150baht. I hesitated a little cos bkk tops are usually too huge for me, but...
Tumblr media
it’s a tie back so you can adjust it to be smaller! I’ve been meaning to get smth like this from taobao, like it’s literally been sitting in my cart for ages haha

Dal Lake Shikara
Dal Lake, most populated tourist attraction in Srinagar, is renowned for its house boats and Shikaras. Dal Lake appeared and still continues to appear as a subject matter of many poems and articles.
The wonderful scenic lake extending an area of 26 square meters has been partitioned in to four areas by four causeways. Western part of the lake is enchanting with many Islands attracting tourists with its serenity and solitude. The lake is a hub for many water sports including water surfing, swimming, Shikara riding, kayaking, house boating, angling and canoeing. Adventurous tourists as well as the tourists looking for cool, natural secluded atmosphere can venture to this natural wonder.
Attractions
Nagin Lake
Nagin Lake
Nagin Lake, though sometimes referred to as a separate lake, is actually part of Dal Lake, being linked through a causeway which permits only bikers and walkers to enter the lake precincts. The caseway carries the water supply pipeline to the Srinagar city in the east. The lake is bounded by the Shankaracharya hill on the south and Hari Parbat on the west and is located at the foot of the Zabarwan hills. Willow and poplar trees flank the edges of the lake.
Chashme Shahi
Cheshme Shahi Srinagar
Chashme Shahi, meaning “Royal Spring”, is a fresh water spring and garden known for its medicinal properties. Its source located above the Nehru Memorial Park. It is the smallest of all the Mughal gardens in Srinagar, measuring 108 metres (354 ft) x 38 metres (125 ft) and it has three terraces, an aqueduct, waterfalls and fountains.
Char Chinar
Island of Char Chinar
A famous landmark in Srinagar is an island on Dal Lake where four Chinar (Platanus orientalis) trees stand, named “Char Chinar.
Shankaracharya Temple
The sacred Shankaracharya temple, also known as Jyeshteswara, occupies the top of the hills (about 1,000 feet (300 m) above the surrounding Takht-I-Sulaiman plains in the south-east of Srinagar. The site, initially named Gopadri, dates back to 250 BC as a Buddhist monument, probably built by Emperor Ashoka’s son Jhaloka. In the 7th century it was replaced by the present temple by King Lalitaditya. The philosopher Shankaracharya is documented as having stayed at this place when he visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanātana Dharma.
Hari Parbat
Hari parbat view of the temple from upstairs
Hari Parbat, also known as the Mughal fort, is a hill fort on Sharika hill that provides panoramic views of the Srinagar city and the Dal Lake. It was first established by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1590. However, he only erected the outer wall of the fort and his plans to build a new capital called Naga Nagor within it did not materialise. The fort in its current state was built much later in 1808 under the reign of Shuja Shah Durrani. Within the fort’s precincts are temples, Muslim shrines, and a sikh Gurudwara. The hill is the subject of many legends in Hindu mythology, and was said to have once been a large sea, inhabited by a demon known as Jalobhava and that the hill grew from a pebble.

Houseboats, the floating luxury hotels in Dal Lake
Houseboats and the Dal Lake are widely associated with Srinigar and are nicknamed “floating palaces”, built according to British customs. The houseboats are generally made from local cedar-wood and measure 24–38 metres (79–125 ft) in length and 3–6 metres (9.8–20 ft) in width and are graded in a similar fashion to hotels according to level of comfort.[35] Many of them have lavishly furnished rooms, with verandas and a terrace to serve as a sun-deck or to serve evening cocktails. They are mainly moored along the western periphery of the lake, close to the lakeside boulevard in the vicinity of the Dal gate and on small islands in the lake. They are anchored individually, with interconnecting bridges providing access from one boat to the other. The kitchen-boat is annexed to the main houseboat, which also serves as residence of the boatkeeper and his family.
Hazratbal Shrine
The Hazratbal Shrine also named Hazratbal, Assar-e-Sharief is a Muslim shrine situated on the left bank of the Dal Lake and is considered to be Kashmir’s holiest Muslim shrine. It contains a relic believed by many Kashmiri Muslims to be the Moi-e-Muqqadas, a hair from the head of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. According to legend, the relic was first brought to India by Syed Abdullah, a descendant of Muhammad who left Medina and settled in Bijapur, near Hyderabad in 1635. When Syed Abdullah died, his son, Syed Hamid, inherited the relic. Following the Mughal conquest of the region, Syed Hamid was stripped of his family estates. Finding himself unable to care for the relic, he gave it as the most precious gift to his close Mureed and a wealthy Kashmiri businessman, Khwaja Nur-ud-Din Ishbari.

7 Day Itinerary for an Ideal Ladakh Trip Leh, the main town in the district of Ladakh, in Jammu and Kashmir, India is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in India. Set in a high altitude, the access remains restricted throughout the year, with roads being blocked for as long as six months. The roads usually open up in the month of May till Sept – October, and June – August have become the peak season especially after the popularization of the region in the movie three idiots, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. With the Leh – Ladakh season around the corner, I created a sample 7 – day Leh – Ladakh Itinerary which covers almost all the major attractions and can be used as a reference for anyone planning a trip to Leh – Ladakh.
Day 1
Start your journey to Leh – Ladakh by landing at Leh Airport during the morning hours. Without spending too much time, head out to your hotel, make yourself comfortable and stay put for the day in your room. This acclimatization is critical for your body and for you to enjoy the rest of your trip. You may be tempted to step out and explore the city, but all you have to do is control your excitement for the day and relax in the room.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast head out to Sanchi Stupa to enjoy a panoramic view of Leh. Your next destination should be Tsemo Fort, which is practically visible from all over Leh. [caption id="attachment_1163" align="aligncenter" width="787"] Source[/caption] Built in the 16th century is Tsemo (Victory) Fort, is just a 15-minute climb opposite Chenrezi Lakhang with its ruins. This structure is visible from everywhere in Leh. This fort seems like a crown on the head of the Palace ridge.  This small but ruined palace contains a number of worship flags. Directly underneath it is Tsemo gompa that is Tsemo monastery that consists of two temple buildings built in the 15th century, an eight-meter tall gold-faced statue of Maitreya Buddha. [caption id="attachment_1164" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] Enjoy a good serving of typical Ladakhi food at one of the popular restaurants in the market, before heading out to Leh Palace, which is a replica of Lhasa’s Potala Palace. A nine storey structure in dun color, the Leh Palace rises against the backdrop of the lofty Himalayas, looking more like a painter’s muse. Built mostly of mud, rocks, and wood, it is grand in its simplicity. The palace also houses a rich collection of traditional dresses and crowns, thangka paintings and some impressive traditional ornaments. The best part about Leh Palace is its terrace for you can pore over Leh, Stok Kangri and the Zanskar range from it. [caption id="attachment_1165" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] Spend the later part of the day at the Hall of Fame, which is a museum constructed and maintained by the Indian Army in the memories of the soldiers who lost their lives during the Indo – Pak wars. One of the most interesting sections is the one dedicated to a soldier’s life in Siachen Glacier. [caption id="attachment_1166" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] Do some city shopping if time permits and your body doesn’t give in to the tiredness/fatigue.
Day 3
One of the major highlights of any trip to Leh – Ladakh is crossing the Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable pass built by the brave men of 201 Engineer Regiment, Indian Army. The road was opened to vehicular traffic on 27 August 1973. At an altitude of 18,380 feet, Khardung La Pass is the gateway to Shyok and Nubra Valleys. [caption id="attachment_1167" align="aligncenter" width="1000"] Source[/caption] Khardung La is 39 km by road from Leh. The first 24 km, as far as the South Pullu check point, are paved. From there to the North Pullu checkpoint about 15 km beyond the pass the roadway is primarily loose rock, dirt, and occasional rivulets of snowmelt. From North Pullu into the Nubra Valley, the road is very well maintained (except in a few places where washouts or falling rock occur). While at Khardung La, don’t forget to have a cup of hot tea and a plate of hot Maggi at the Highest Cafeteria in the World. It is recommended that the maximum stopping time at the top should not be more than 30 minutes, so once you are done with clicking pictures and having some food, head out to the souvenir shop. The shop also maintained by the Indian Army sells all kinds of souvenirs like coffee mugs, beer mugs, decorative plates, tee shirts, and caps, etc. I have all of them with me. [caption id="attachment_1168" align="aligncenter" width="778"] Source[/caption] Cross Khardung La Pass and make your way towards Nubra Valley, Diskit Monastery, and Panamik. Panamik is famous for its hot water springs, and it’s also the last place up to which civilians are allowed on the road towards Siachen. Everyone has seen a camel at some point of time, but you should be privileged if you get to see a double humped camel. Head out to the Hunder sand dunes and catch a sight of the Double Humped Camels, which are an endangered species and the only place in India to see them is here at Hunder Sand dunes. This will remain a highlight of your trip to Leh – Ladakh. Stay for the night at Hunder/Nubra valley.
Day 4
Start your return trip to Leh – Ladakh after a hearty breakfast, cross Khardung La top, enter Leh and head out to Thiksey Monastery, after having a good Tibetan lunch. The USP of this monastery is the 15 m high statue of Maitreya or Tara Devi. Covering almost two storeys, this is the largest such statue in Ladakh. [caption id="attachment_1169" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] Just a couple minutes away from Thiksey Monastery is a quaint little spot named as Indus Viewpoint or Sindhu Darshan. Go there to enjoy the calm atmosphere and feel the fresh breeze kiss your face. A charming place like that demands some time where you only feel the breeze and hear the sound of water gushing by. [caption id="attachment_1170" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] Get some rest after the tiring yet fruitful day, only to wake up to a fresh new adventure the next day.
Day 5
After having an early breakfast, head out of Leh – Ladakh, towards Chang La Pass. When you are at the top of the third highest pass, make sure to click some pictures and have a hot cup of tea and some Maggi. Trust me, the tea and Maggi might not have tasted that heavenly ever before. [caption id="attachment_1171" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] Cross Chang La Pass and head out towards Pangong Tso Lake which is 140 Km from Leh. Situated at the height of 4350 m and almost 130 Km long, Pangong Tso is one-third in India and the remaining in Tibet. The first glimpse of the tranquil, azure blue waters and shaky lakeshore remains etched in the memory of tourists. On a bright sunny day, one can see as many as five different shades of blue along the length of the lake as you drive on the side of it. [caption id="attachment_1172" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1173" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] Stay for the night either at one of the camps or one of the homestay options in the nearby villages of Spangmik and TangTse.
Day 6
Start early and take your return trip to Leh – Ladakh, and on your way back, stop by at the Hemis Monastery. Hemis Monastery or Hemis Gompa is one of the richest monasteries as it was protected by foreign invasions because of its remote location and hard to access route. [caption id="attachment_1174" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Source[/caption] On your way back from Hemis, get your adrenaline rush at an all-time high by trying out White Water Rafting on the mighty Indus or Zanskar.
Day 7
Head out to Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and attend the lungar prepared by the Sikh soldiers of the Indian Army. Do try to help them in whatever way you can and then head to the point where you can witness the confluence of Indus and Zanskar. One can easily differentiate between both of the rivers, as one is muddy and the other one is a bit of the bluish-green tinge. While you are in the area, don’t forget to get amused by the weird happenings at Magnetic Hill where, your car goes uphill on its own, when put into neutral gear.
Day 8
With loads of memories amidst mesmerizing landscapes, it’s time to say goodbye to Leh and fly back to your respective places, bringing your trip to Leh – Ladakh, to a great end.
Recommendations
Leh is full of tourists all over the globe, so make sure to try out different cuisines like Ladakhi, Israeli, Tibetan, and Russian, etc.

Souvenirs from Khardung La and Pangong Tso Lake.
Chinese
