Xyx propaganda:
“He's funny he's depressed he's an adrenaline junkie he has a cat he has the hottest voice on earth”
“Actually basically everyone from this game should be submitted but. He has a cat that he accidentally adopted and stray cat and fails miserably at pretending not to care about it while also talking about it every two seconds. He's just so funny and he makes a discord bot to compliment the two of you and. Idk I'm bad with words but I have a soft spot for him”
“my silly little guy who has some bad times. adopts a cat to basically encourage himself to stay alive because if HE doesnt take care of the cat then who will. also his cat's name is Cat. a real naming genius that one. makes a whole bot for the server called hypebot whos main thing was just hyping himself up but will also compliment/flirt with you. i think hes basically never joined a call in the server and no ones seen what he looks like except for the other LIs and the player on mainly his route but he also appears in another. i love him hes so lame /pos”
Elliott propaganda:
“Just look at him. Pure hunk energy.”
“I will punch anyone who dislikes him. He’s like a fire emblem character in the modern day. He’s so flamboyant and handsome, he can play the piano and he’s best friends with the old fishing man!”
“dramatic writer man with sexy hair”
"Since I like elliott. I will state some reasons why I like him
Imagine if Mr. Darcy didn’t insult your family first time you met him, that’s Elliott. The man who’s basically the hallmark romance love interest. He’s a writer who moves to the small town in the country side to find inspiration for his writing. Then he finds the farmer.
He has a crab living in his pocket
He can play the piano (hopefully it isn’t the river flows in you however)
His fans sometimes hc him as a merman and that’s just a major plus IMO
He genre of the book he writes is dependent on what genre you say you like.
He also sends letters to you if you marry him
Okay and also some things I dislike
His liked gifts, the easiest one is pomegranates, which cost like 6000g to grow a tree if you don’t pick the fruit cave. I AM NOT GETTING SQUID INK IN YEAR ONE FOR YOU.
he might be British /j
The fact he has no kitchen but still likes food like lobster, like he is just a mystery. Lives in a cabin, with no kitchen, no washroom (okay no character has a washroom), but still likes the most fancy food out there and has luscious hair worthy of a L’Oréal ad.
Gifting him on rainy days when you don’t have two hearts"

Announcing a fandom community server!
Hi, guys! This is sorta directed at my followers but also Obey Me fans (and other fandom people).
I mentioned, like, a looong time ago I wanted to do a community server, but I didn't really understand how to use Discord, but since then I've been in a zine, a few collabs, and hosted my own collabs (currently running one for Lucifer 👀). So, I have the experience and knowledge of running a server now!
My urge to create a fandom-centric server has really bloomed and after sitting on the it for a year, I feel confident enough yet still anxious to release a link of an invitation to it (found at the bottom)! It's still fresh, and bots haven't been implemented yet, but I really want to push this out.
I myself am in a lot of different fandoms, obviously Obey Me, but also Baldur's Gate, Stardew Valley, Kingdom Hearts, Persona games, What in Hell is Bad, a few obscure fandoms (like Alien Stage and Touchstarved) and older ones (Homestuck), so I have all the intentions to have this server be inclusive to webcomics, anime and manga and adjacent media, games from standard video games to phone games, graphic novels, books, otome and romance stuff, indie media like web series, cartoons, and games, and more as it grows.
I also want this server to be a hub for writers and artists to share their stuff they're too awkward or anxious to post and receive feedback, and as a place to get to know fellow-minded people in shared fandoms. AUs, theories, headcanons, crossovers, self-inserts, your MCs/OCs - all allowed!
A few things to note:
This is a fandom community server, but it might start out as Obey Me heavy because I'm trying to direct attention to that fandom since that's the one I am mostly in and participated in most things as a fan.
Adults and minors (16+) are allowed, but there are rules implemented that divide channels into SFW and NSFW categories and channels.
Writers, artists, content creators, cosplayers, fans that dabble, etc. are enthusiastically welcomed
The server can also function with channels regarding roleplays and self-publishing (commissions, Etsy shops, etc.)
I really want this server to kinda be a central spot for small fandoms or dying fandoms (like Obey Me) or old fandoms or growing fandoms and ones in-between basically non-existent and probably way too big. I want the server to be a community of different fandoms and the people that incorporate them, and I want it to be a fun place to just either relax with other fans and share works you like or works you've made or as a place to just dip in a silently lurk to look at what people are talking about or look at what is shared or as a place to lose your fucking minds when updates happen or something wild or devastating in the media occurs.
I want this to be a respectful but enjoyable place to come to and join and feel like you can invite friends or maybe even make friends!
Hard rules:
Before entering though, the server has a soft screening process for people to join.
Verifications will be done by me to make sure no one with ill intentions has a chance to cause harassment or harm to members. Fandoms can be toxic and mean in public places like here and Twitter, but this server will be, to the best of my ability, a space away from that.
Absolutely no pedophilic content is allowed. Like, none. It'll be one of the fastest things to get you kicked and banned and blacklisted.
There are rules and specific channels for certain ships and certain explicit content that can be talked about in the server if there are any questions.
This server is for fandom communities and politics and religious hot takes are not applicable here. This is a designated relief zone and none of that is really welcome.
I think that mostly covers the sales pitch and important stuff, lol.
So with all that out of the way--

I'm going to be starting my very first commissions soon! I am very excited but do you have any tips on what I should and shouldn't do?
Oh that’s very exciting! Hmm I have a post somewhere but I’ll just answer anyways 😂 This is gonna be insanely long
- Don’t be disappointed if you don’t get a huge amount of people asking at first. It’s all about drawing people in and growing an audience! If you don’t have an audience yet, it’s always worth it to market and advertise pretty well. Multiple social medias, using common tags, promoting in say, is discord server if you’re in one or something, all that jazz
- Pricing is very difficult and it’ll fluctuate and change over time. You’re not gonna get it down first try, and they’ll change with your workflow and what you realize you can and can’t do/handle! Personally, I took the amount of time I take on each canvas and estimated some average times (I.e. a rendered bust takes me 1.5-2 hours) and multiplied that by ah, $30 I think at first? And then doubled my prices later down the road
- Additionally however, pricing in such a way that you make good money for your time is important but, and I can’t stress this enough, PLEASE consider the people you’re advertising your work to and who follows you, what communities you’re in, etc. For myself, I’ve recently began to aim for higher quality clients who can pay more all at once and so I can get more money with less commissions stacked in my queue. Thus why my lowest price is still quite high. If you want more frequent clients, most often it’s best to keep your prices relatively low but still good value for you. Again, it’s all about finding that balance and figuring out your workflow
- Speaking of workflow, there’s no one right way to do commissions. Your process is your own and from my experience, I’ve gone through a bunch of different processes with different people! Haha, I’ve even signed a contract once to really seal the deal on the terms and conditions. Make it your own! Be as professional as you feel the need to or not. Do whatever makes you comfortable as long as it’s not at the expense of the client, of course
- You may or may not be contacted by spam bots and other accounts about your work. Believe me, it’ll happen once or twice that you might be scammed if you’re not careful (it’s happened to me twice) but if I could say, it’s usually accounts with names that don’t match their icons, using little/terrible punctuation and very automated repsonses, requesting work that’s not what you do usually, requesting work of family members/pets, offering very large sums of money, whatever else. Just be safe!
- Hmmm what else….
- Make sure you have plenty of examples of your work and the style of art/coloring that you’re advertising. If you’re offering something new, just get like 3-4 examples in and have a consistent process before having people pay money for it. I love my current rendering style but I had to wait til I had a few to know how I wanted to go about offering it as a new coloring style and how it’s different from what I would typically do
- Some clients are definitely rude and pester. It’s okay to put your foot down and say you’re not comfortable working with them. Personally, I offer up other artists if that’s the case (within reason, I don’t send rude people generally but sometimes clients get frustrated with you because you’re not the kind of artists they’ll end up wanting to work with) or if I’m just not able to do a commission because it’s, for example, out of my skill level or something. Always good to send people to artists who are open for work
- I’m actually learning this myself but if you’re working with someone who’s well known (I.e. I worked with good ol Xisumavoid), having T&Cs is useful for those larger clients. Xisuma actually gave me his terms and conditions to fill out in the invoices so if the client has that as well, it works that way too! And again, if you have questions or you’re uncomfortable by someone else’s T&Cs, say that! Believe me, they’ll work with you if they truly intend to use your work (bless that man, he was so kind and transparent about the whole process)
- Of courses you are just starting out but you never know!
That’s pretty much he main stuff. Just make sure it’s seen and clear, you’re valued and understand your value, and that everything you’ll be doing is all up to you. If you have artists friends (or myself) that you’d ever need input from, give them (or me) a holler! This is all just me, other artists have more or different ways they’d suggest going about things so if you don’t agreed with anything I’ve said, that’s alright 😌

My Discord Server!
I have a Discord server that I've been hoping to grow past me and the six friends, and server bots, that currently dwell within it! So far, however, I haven't exactly had the best luck in finding folk to join it...
So! If anyone is interested in joining said discord, shoot me a DM! However, there are some prerequisites to joining:
- You MUST be 18 or older! I'd like to keep the server a safe and mature place! Out of reach of small children!
- The server does have an NSFW channel, but PLEASE no creepy fetish art if you can help it! If you're into that stuff, cool! But I must ask ya keep it to yourself.
- Any fandom is welcome, but please do not attempt to force your fandom down other people's throats OR force your personal opinion of said-fandom onto everyone else.
- No Racism, Sexism, or Discrimination of any kind will be tolerated! Treat your fellow members equally regardless of ethnicity, pronouns, disabilities or sexuality. EVERYONE is welcome.
So long as you follow the prerequisites above, and are 18 or older, feel free to hit me up for an invite!

(Don’t know if you’ve been asked this before) but do you have any advice for writing?
i am definitely not the best person to answer this, but also this is a very vague question I'm not even sure how to give you a proper answer or what kind of advice you're looking for.
like uhh. pay attention to human behaviour and what motivates people. read a lot. literally go touch some grass or look out your window for like 30 minutes and just think about the things you want to write it'll reset your brain, you'll be surprised how plot points start to connect if you're looking at a tree or the sky. listen to ambient music or white noise. drink your favourite hot beverage and start making your notes bible. outlines can be detailed or minimal and you don't have to stick to them beat for beat, they're at best a guideline and a reminder to put that chekhov's gun in chapter 2. read a lot. look up different types of outlines and see what would work best for your story, and if they don't, throw those conventional outline guidelines out the window and just do whatever you want. rewrite your first draft. try to give yourself manageable goals per hour per day per week, take it 500 words at a time. writing sprints are fun and helpful, especially if you add a sprint bot to a discord server where you can hype up and write alongside with friends. don't forget to take breaks. watch/read/listen to media that inspires you and matches the themes/vibes of the story you want to tell, make a lot of notes and don't be afraid of stealing plot beats or vibes to co-opt in your own story. work on another project if your brain is fried, it'll reset after a few days. don't be afraid of themes, they're important; find 1-3 and stick to and expand on them. do your research on the little specific details if you must but don't get lost in 15 wiki/youtube tabs for hours like I do. talk to your friends about your story, get excited about it get them excited about it, don't be afraid to brainstorm with them, writing can be a very lonely hobby if you have no one to be hype with, you'd be surprised how easier things come to you. keep reading a lot. you can copy other styles if you'd like but eventually you'll come to realize you've figured out your own style and learn what works and what doesn't for you and it'll keep growing. add [parentheses] if you get stuck on a detail or line or paragraph to keep the momentum going. make playlists make pinterest boards make lists for your eventual ao3 tags or fic titles, get excited about your story get passionate. and remember, fic writing is a hobby, it doesn't have to be perfect, just have fun

4, 5, and 6.
thank you for sending these in aaaa <3
4 - What are your favorite types of fanworks to make?
oh, definitely fanfiction ! Something about writing is just so much fun to me. I think it's trying to capture the characters in words by trying to describe what I see in my head. Like, trying to hear their dialogue in their voices saying what I want them to say, and then writing that in way that I hope makes the same thing happen to someone else.
does that make sense???
To me, I can make anything happen in a story! Anything I can think of! I just have to make the words work by arranging them in the best way I can, and put the punctuation in the places I think works best (yeah, y'hear that microsoft word? you can underline my punctuation as incorrect as many times as you want but I do what I want this is my story now)
the fact that it means I get to spend more time with my favourite characters and ships is just the cherry on top !
5 - What are your favorite types of fanworks to see/read/listen to etc.?
oooh, interesting. I think it's gonna have to be fanfiction again. I have cried at a comic a handful of times, but I have lost count of the times I've cried over fanfiction. I have literally laughed out loud, smiled uncontrollably, gasped, held my breath and had to throw my phone onto the table so I can screech and flap my hands in the air before I can continue
I was a huuuge book nerd as a kid growing up, so I think I just developed a really strong ability to fully deep dive into books and writing and totally immerse myself in them - which is great fun honestly
I also get addicted to fanfiction in that very typical have-to-keep-reading-even-though-it's-already-3am-help-me kind of way
AND I LOVE IT
Big shout out to all the artists out there though. When I haven't got the headspace or time to read a fic (which is a drawback of the medium) then artwork really is my saviour. It's like being able to enjoy more content of whatever I'm into, at any time! Artists are so talented and they carry fandoms on their strong shoulders ;;
6 - What has been one of your favorite fandom experiences?
It was probably last year (?) (I think) when I was just starting to really get involved in the IT fandom properly and I was just starting to make fandom friends and there was this like, one week or something where me, @scrunchi and @paotulip did this crazy three-way collab of art, writing and cosplay for a coffee shop AU.
It just kept snowballing and other members of the fandom were noticing it and enjoying it and it really put a smile on my face !
The enthusiasm and joy surrounding the whole thing was so much fun.
Oh and there was the time I first joined Discord and honestly I was so lucky that I had the best discord experience straight off the bat with the first ever server I joined. I don't know if it's still going, because I left when I left the fandom, but @kacchako-server was one of the best fandom experiences I ever had and I will always treasure the memories.
There was just this planets-aligning good fortune of there being a really solid group of lovely people, a decent mod team, an active and supportive community and everyone was just there to have fun.
I remember staying up until 3am playing Uno online with everyone, or that time we played truth or dare and the dares were like, eat a handful of raw spaghetti but the person doinf the dare didn't have any, so just grabbed pasta spirals instead.
I cried laughing at the dumb pokemon fusions we all used to send to each other - because the more cursed it looked the better. and Oh! the HOURS I spent using the pokemon bot. We were all so competitive it was hilarious.
We would play group games of cards against humanity and whenever I won a round everyone lost it.
(everyone is always so surprised when I can play cah lmao)
so okay, not a lot of actual fandom content in these memories - but we were all there for the same ship and it brought us all together.
It was just this little pocket of what fandom is all about really.
and the most important thing, the most vital thing, that I wish people in fandom would remember more often is that we HAD FUN

How does one go about making friends?
That’s an interesting question, anon... I suppose it depends on whether you’re talking about on-line or in-person. I can share my experiences with both and hopefully that will provide insight...
Tumblr media
(Though I am not really an expert, by any means, I suppose that having friends does make me at least marginally qualified to give advice about it.)
(Also - please assume that any in-person interaction I mention is carried out with ALL appropriate and applicable safety measures in place with regards to the pandemic.)
Tumblr media
In-Person
I suppose this sort of friendship could come from school, or church, or on a team, or in a club, or at a party, or any thing where people habitually gather... I usually wait until I hear someone speak on something I know about and then chime in with thoughts and discussion. People like to be listened to. If you want to make friends, try and listen intently (I mean don’t be fake lol but if you are intent on forming a connection then effort is required obviously) and maybe ask questions that will keep them talking (if they seem interested in the topic).
There are often moments that can be shared, like a professor being too hard or some thing silly happening that can be used as conversation starters. Shared micro-experiences like this (and subsequent discussions of them) are excellent building blocks for friendship.
Honestly... being honest about trying to make connections is really good as well. You may feel uncomfortable with that and worry what people think but ... if someone were to say to you, “I would just like to make more friends,” would you look down on them? And if that person does look down on you for this type of honesty... is that really the type of person you want to be friends with anyways? We are social creatures, we should never be ashamed of our desire for connection.
It is important to recognize boundaries in a growing friendship. Adults have many demands on their time and therefore cannot always be available for each other. Respecting this is vital. Empathy in general is vital. This goes for in-person and on-line.
Inviting these individuals to shared experiences is important as well. Come over to play games, let’s go have dinner, let’s just take a walk... etc. It may feel in the beginning like you are initiating all of this, but that is OK seriously, you are the one trying to make the friend after all. My current best friend of 15 years who I would legit charge into a burning building for... she called me every day for weeks. She always asked me to hang out. I was kind of an aspiring hermit at that tender young age, but she was persistent and one day I realized I couldn’t imagine not having her there. Retrospectively I was not pulling my weight in the beginning of our friendship, but she wanted to be my friend so she put in the work. She was my maid of honor. When she struggled with unprecedented challenges after her first child, I took off days of work to be by her side. We have travelled to England and the Bahamas and a ton of states together. Her friendship is one of the most important relationships in my life. I have pulled her back from the edge and she has done the same for me and you don’t get that if someone isn’t willing to put in the work in the beginning. Not everyone is best friend material - it’s true. But some people are.
There is also, I have found, a pervasive habit among humans to seek out a “desirable” friend group. This means completely different things to every person. For some people, they want stereotypical popular friends, for others they want influential friends, for others they want friends who have idealized lifestyles, for others they want friends who have achieved things... Don’t look for anything like this. Look for commonalities instead. We both love BTS. We both love anime. We both love traveling. We both love... whatever. The desirable traits you may be hoping to collect in a friend group are illusions, constructs, and perceptions... They are nothing in the face of one beautiful connection.
Tumblr media
On-Line
My closest friends online became my friends when no one read our work (except for Donna, but she is Donna and is therefore the exception to most rules) - as I was saying - we joined a few network and collab chats here and there and shared each other’s stories... We started to talk about our experiences... We bonded over BTS. We talked about fic writers and fics we loved. Eventually we formed our own little server on Discord.
I would definitely recommend joining network chats or joining general discord chats. There are a bunch of them floating around. Kinktae and Gukyi run one of the best ones out there called the BTSSmutHub and it’s fabulous. I have made many friends there. Everyone in there is always willing to talk. They even host game nights and I have so much fun... Truly a lovely group.
Honestly... with Donna ( @taetaewonderland ) - she messaged me and began to talk to me about my work and what she was working on and it grew from there. She was a much bigger blog, but she liked my edits and I liked her.
Ana ( @xjoonchildx ) and Lindy ( @ppersonna ) and I became friends because we were baby blogs with like 7 notes on each of our stories, but we loved each other’s work and we talked to each other about it. No one really reached out to me or wanted to be my friend back then - I had like 6 followers and I’m pretty sure 4 of them were bots... but the three of us would comment on each other’s stuff and share funny memes in our chat boxes and theorize about the drama big blogs that never spoke to us seemed to always post about. We talked about BTS and the content and how our lives were being affected by the pandemic. Donna became friends with Lindy and we merged our little group together.
Those three are special to me. Truly my friends. We have been through things now. Things I never expected, but they remain a constant. We talk every day. The other three are such social butterflies, they have other group chats that they have friends in as well, but I have always been someone who is a little more reserved in general. I love playing in the Smut Hub server now and then and I am close with a few other blogs who I have small chats or small group chats with and I value them so so much. Because... making friends really ISN’T easy. I mentioned those three ladies because they were my very first friends here and they are incredibly close to me still. (Again - to the other blogs I’m close to - I VALUE YOU SO MUCH I AM JUST TALKING ABOUT THESE THREE CAUSE THEY WERE FIRST AND I FEEL LESS SELF-CONSCIOUS ABOUT NAME DROPPING THEM 🙈🙈)
I would really just try and interact with blogs who like the things you like. Ana, Donna, Lindy and I bonded because we loved the same kind of stories... We sent in asks to each other and shared things on each other’s feed or tagged each other in games. We shared authors we liked and BTS moments we couldn’t get enough of...
Way more people know who Donna, and Lindy, and Ana are now... (though people did know Donna already lolz) They are so talented and it was only a matter of time before more people than myself realized that. I’m so proud of what they have achieved, and watching their blogs grow has been so rewarding to me. I’m so glad they put effort into being my friend. I couldn’t give them influence or share their work with a huge audience, but they never cared about that... I wish everyone in the world could find friends like mine. They are one in a billion.
Find someone who will hype you up. If you’re a creator, find someone who will be honest with you about your work, for better or for worse. If you’re just a blog looking to read and make connections then making lists and recs and reviews of great BTS content like gifs, fics, and whatever BTS puts out for us is a great way to start conversations. Don’t be afraid to interact. It is the universal signal that you want connection of some sort. Not everyone will interact back, but that is fine... I only needed one Ana - one Lindy - one Donna... they were more than enough. If someone is willing to interact with you, then they probably want connection too. I’m so glad that those three didn’t look at me and think “she isn’t really a very impressive blog” and just brush me off.

Tumblr media
jaynoblade: “fetch... you made a tumblr post about it
give me a second, i’ll show you”
fetch: “no CROWN made a post from my account. I was it already”
jaynoblade: “oh... that explains the red”
Tumblr media
boo: “pardon, crown has access to your account?”
fetch: “I saw that I also sent baron an ask but I don’t remember that either
look I don’t know if he does or not
I mean he obviously did for I thin a little bit? maybe I should change my password”
jaynoblade: “that might be a good idea”
Tumblr media
fetch: “if it makes yall feel any better mona is off work today and last night she said she'd be keeping an eye on me
I get yall were worried about me but take it easy on her she literally could not leave her job lmao
I dont think Walmart is gonna take "my friend is about to get brainwashed by an enderman thing" as an emergency leave excyse”
Tumblr media
fetch: “And yeah just. be careful calling her king, that sounds way too close to a court member. if you're gonna refer to her like that, spell it like k1ng”
Tumblr media
fetch: “so like! i'm not dead that's good! :]
i don't know what weird game crown was playing with me last night”
jaynoblade: “crown's always playing games with all of us, so an extra one comes at no surprise”

Tumblr media

jaynoblade: “that's valid! sometimes it's hard to remember things”
Tumblr media
fetch: “anyway i. i had a little bit of a thought yesterday. yknow before the whole delerious screaming because of a music box song thing. but its a pretty far stretch so I don't know if it'll help if I toss this into the ring”
jaynoblade: “oh?”
fetch: “i was thinking. the dreamsmp loves their greek myths right? the whole theseus thing, pandoras vault, etc etc right. i think crown and this court is sort of like the hydra”
Tumblr media
fetch: “i fell out of control (a head gets cut off) and chat and page are still up there (two grow back in its place)"
Tumblr media
fetch: “ what if we try to release someone else from control, but that just gets more people hurt"
Tumblr media
[boo: “we gotta burn the cut head yeah?" ]
boo: “ that's how the hydra was defeated"
fetch: “i always thought he pierced the heart? killed the whole beast rather than just one head
thats where I was going with this metaphor anyway
that crown is the heart of the hydra”
boo: “ huh you're right, i just thought that lessening the heads would help w getting to the heart"
Tumblr media
jaynoblade: “he burned each of the heads until it was reduced to one, and then either stabbed it in the heart or cut off the final head (which was immortal, and which killed the body) and buried it under a rock. myths don't agree"
boo: “yeah"
jaynoblade: “but yeah, lessening the heads would definitely help with getting to the heart”
fetch: “oh ok"
Tumblr media
jaynoblade: “ or the final head, whichever version"
boo: “i don't know how we'd burn it though”
fetch: “maybe something to do with the crowns?"
jaynoblade: “ i don't know either
hmmm maybe”
Tumblr media
fetch: “crown is very insistent that they keep their circlets on
odd that I didn't have mine- er, knight's when I woke up in the woods”
jaynoblade: “ ....so do you think that you took it off, and that's why you woke up?"
Denora: “Hmmmm, maybe it got snagged on a branch? It might've been unintentional...”
fetch: “if it's really that simple, I think prince would have done it already. you remember that whole "doesn't want to be in the family" thing at the start of all this?"
Tumblr media
disks and the color red |Stars: “maybe someone took it off for you"
fetch: “I dont know. on one hand, crown seems very confused that i got free. on the other, I don't think he'd be so careless with something so important.
i dont think they just "come off"
regardless, im also worried for maxwell. he's still just as under crowns control as is was. only difference is he hasn't come around
and the fact that he did it because i got taken.”
Tumblr media
jaynoblade: “he did, once. it was only for a few minutes, but we had him back
and then he was gone again"
fetch: “...so he's still in there
its not too late
that. makes me feel a little better.
look maxwell may have been a bit of a prick who kept antagonizing crown even after we asked him to stop but he was still one of us and he shouldn't be working with crown. the last thing maxwell would want is to give the "pissbaby" (his words not mine) more power"
Tumblr media
jaynoblade: “not sure about the other court members, but.... they've been there for much longer, and we haven't had as long with them”
fetch: “there might be time to save the other court members too. even prince. baron seems the least of concern for now since he's went to crown and actually confronted him multiple times now with seemingly no consequence.
and when I say confront I really mean its like 2 or 3 times not he's said that he was gonna ask crown something”
Tumblr media
jaynoblade: “yeah definitely
but then again.... crown’s had him even longer than prince”
fetch: “despite that he seems pretty low on the food chain...”
jaynoblade: “he really does, and there’s probably a reason for that
maybe he’s overall harder to control or something like that”
fetch: “probably
maybe he's the "you're not my real dad you can't tell me what to do" type”
Tumblr media
fetch: “or maybe. hm.
maybe he's leaving baron alone to make prince happy
they are best friends after all”
jaynoblade: “....that could be completely possible”
fetch: “if prince sees crown hurting baron that would be a mega fuck up on crowns part”
Tumblr media
fetch: because they're loyal to crown but childhood friendships run deep
boo: or maybe baron's just not that big of a risk
fetch: yeah maybe that too
also during my reading back I saw what jayyy and a couple others were planning. not a fuckin fan at all if you ask me”
Tumblr media
fetch: “trying to "summon" crown or sacrifice yourself for him is in no way shape or form a good idea
just because I broke control doesn't mean everybody can”
Tumblr media
fetch: “and if you just flat out say "if I get yoinked feel free to use me for information" then thats just? not going to make crown take you if he knows you're gonna do that?
or at the very least he's gonna keep you in the dark
he isn't stupid. he knows where information is supposed to be.”
Tumblr media
fetch: “and- let me reiterate- getting taken is NOT FUN. it isn't something you can just make weekend plans for and act like you or anyone else won't be affected once you're done with your little "experiments"”
[People continue to discuss how fetch might have gotten free and to k1ng’s house for a few minutes more.]

Hello, Pixies!
A while ago, in celebration of reaching so many members in the WTP community, the WTP Hype Squad started planning an interview with the staff members so that you all can learn more about the amazing team working on bringing back the magical world of Pixie Hollow!
When starting to plan our questions, we decided the best thing would be to have you, the WTP community, to submit any questions you would like to see our staff answer.
After collecting your questions and picking our favorites, we were finally ready to start conducting the interviews! Keep reading below the cut for the first two interviews.
Nora was a member of WTP's founding staff; she worked as a Discord and social media manager until 2020. Even after leaving in 2020 due to school pressure, she's still just as passionate about WTP and is an active member of the community.
How did We The Pixies come to be and how did it reach what it is today?
Nora: We The Pixies was started mid 2017. Two weeks after it was founded, I was asked to join. It started then to be what it is now, a Pixie Hollow rewrite that's forever free, family friendly, and fair to the players. At the beginning, development was a bit slow because we had no staff and no idea how to coordinate. We started by picking a physics engine. In the end, we chose one that was simple and easy to use.
We messed around with a lot of ideas back then (and we still do). How would we interact with the players and receive feedback? How would we host the server? We were teenagers. We didn't know what we were doing. I remember doing hours of research about this stuff only to come up empty handed. We were all new to this and worried we couldn't pull this off.
Then, in 2018 we switched developers. It turned out that our current physics engine wasn't suited for our goals, so we switched to Phaser 3. All of our progress was reset, but it was being rebuilt on a more stable engine. It was a lot of work and it worried everyone, but the game ended up better because of it.
It started off as friends reaching out to friends. Earlier the same year, however, we switched from asking friends for assistance to more formal staff applications.
In 2019, we released the first demo. It was our goal, once we'd done that, to open up a public discord server. I spent a few hours researching and configuring bots, and a few more sorting out roles and channels on the server. This brings us to where we are now, in 2020. I stepped down because of the pressures of school, but I still wholeheartedly support We The Pixies. I'm excited to see what the rest of 2020 will bring to the table for WTP.
________________
Asteria has been on staff for the longest time out of all current staff members. She started off as a moderator and is currently an administrator for WTP. She’s also a part of WTP’s social media team. Like everyone on WTP staff, Asteria is an unpaid volunteer.
What are some of your favorite memories from Pixie Hollow?
Asteria: When I was younger, I’d pretty much run home from school every day and play until I was forced off the family computer. Since I used to play with my siblings, Pixie Hollow was a huge part of me growing up and spending time with both my friends and family. It also opened the doors to the possibilities of forming close-knit online communities, which is something I didn’t originally think was possible. That being said, my best memories of the game all involve hanging out with my friends and hosting the legendary dare parties Pixie Hollow was known for! While I loved almost every single aspect of the original game (decorating, dressing up, playing mini-games), I’d have to say that the sense of community I shared with my friends was my favorite part of the Pixie Hollow experience.
What game feature from Pixie Hollow are you most excited to see again?
Asteria: Hmm, if I’d have to pick one, it would probably be decorating. I used to spend hours on end perfecting my fairy home (dyeable panels and mermaid fountains for the win!). Luckily, the demo has already teased what’s in store for decorating, so I’m really happy with WTP’s progress!
At the beginning of WTP, what inspired you to start working as a moderator?
Asteria: Originally, I joined the team back in 2017 as a moderator after being invited by the then-founders. Since the project was barely off the ground, I mostly joined as a way to continue socializing with a group of my friends. However, when WTP started to take off back in 2018, I was really inspired by the hard work and dedication of the team, which motivated me to continue my work as a moderator and eventually become an administrator in 2020. WTP has really helped me grow in terms of communicating with others and working within an ever-growing team.
What are some of the main things you look for when adding staff members? (As an administrator, a part of Asteria’s job is recruiting new staff members.)
Asteria: I’m usually very involved in the application/interview process, so when scouting for staff  members (especially moderators), I pay close attention to Discord activity, possible infractions, availability, and responsiveness/communication skills. However, our requirements for staff positions tend to change depending on the applicant’s potential role, though I think the application is pretty straightforward in terms of what we’re looking for. At the end of the day, skill and the ability to work well within a team are the most important.
How do you use social media to grow the community?
Asteria: For social media, I usually try to respond to players’ DMs (on Discord, Facebook, and Instagram) and keep players updated on WTP’s progress. However, much of the activity on our social media is courtesy of Lila Almondpetal, our genius social media coordinator. She usually creates fun posts and activities for players to try, which has been extremely helpful in terms of growing the community.
(We’re excited to talk to Lila about event planning in our interview with her!)
How do you fit working on WTP into your schedule?
Asteria: Usually, I fit WTP into every second of my free time (which can fluctuate from very little time to weeks on end of stalking the Discord). I try to prioritize WTP as much as possible because although it is a volunteer project, I still have a responsibility to both my staff friends and the players. But being completely honest, there isn’t much of a schedule to disrupt during summer break!
Before wrapping up our interview, we wanted to talk to Asteria about her personal connection with the staff as well as her personal feelings about WTP.
Is there a person in the staff that you've formed a strong friendship with?
Asteria: Interesting question! I try to form relationships with a lot of staff, but I’d have to say I’m very close to our Administrator/Developer Teresa and our Artist Victoria. I look forward to developing closer relationships with our newest staff members (especially my moderators because I love them very much!). You could probably guess this, but my favorite part of my job is talking to both players and staff.
How do you feel about the community growing so much in a short amount of time?
Asteria: Honestly, the exponential growth of the community was a little overwhelming at first. As most players have already experienced, moderators and administrators have to approve every single player into the server (even when we were getting upwards of 300-400 players a day!) I can’t say I was expecting it so soon, considering the early stages of the project, but I’m very happy to see our community growing so fast!
Do you feel like some people may have unrealistic expectations for the game?
Asteria: As a general rule, whenever someone receives a product, they’re looking at the finished state. Understandably, a lot of our players are not privy to the behind-the-scenes work our artists, sound techs, and developers put into remaking the game (essentially from scratch). While we do promise to recreate the game as close to the original as possible, it does take a lot of time and effort.
The last thing we wanted to ask you is: Do you think that WTP will ever be as big as the original Pixie Hollow was?
Asteria: Who knows! Considering the fan base of the original, it’s a bit difficult to reach such a massive audience. However, with the increasing importance of social media, I think, with the right advertising, it’s possible to reach even a fraction of Pixie Hollow’s audience! Wishful thinking!
________________
Next, we’ll talk with our beloved game creators! Stay tuned for our next set of interviews, featuring game developer Teresa, artists Ci and Rachel, and sound developer Lavender Merryheart, where we ask them about a lot of interesting things - including how they’re recreating Pixie Hollow and their future goals and plans for the game!

My 2020 reviews
All the cool kids were doing these so now I finally dragged my ass into doing them too lmao.
Albania- Fall from the Sky
A song I swear cursed this whole contest from the moment it won Festivali i Këngës. Like with the shitshow this song caused I just knew the whole year was fucked. With half the fandom whining they didn’t get their first club song of the year to the other half smugly shoving it as their winner despite no other songs being around to compare it to, the whole fiasco just left me knowing that 2020 would end in tears, just hopefully not my own. As for the song, it’s lame. It’s a standard ballad with OBSCENE amounts of autotune, which is weird because the girl can actually sing pretty decently without it, so why they decided to make her sound like a damn computer is beyond me. And WHY did they translate it, haven't the past few years proven that Albania's better off leaving their songs in Albanian?
Armenia- Chains on You
A bootleg Ariana Grande song, and a really shit one at that. The kind of song only people who think being young, gay and mean counts as having a personality would say is good.
Australia- Don’t Break Me
One of the few decent Australian entries (but that REALLY isn’t saying much coming from me, I barely care theyre in the contest by this point) but marred by a horribly untidy performance and lacklustre lyrics. At least it’s not fucking pop-opera, that’s all I can say. I’d rather listen to the sound of my face being dragged down the runway at Heathrow airport than be subjected to another Zero Gravity.
Austria- Alive
One of those pseudo-jazz dance songs, á la Olly Murs or Bruno Mars (I swear there’s a song like this in every recent contest). I mean, it’s good, but it’s just kinda meh since I’m kinda getting tired of this genre rearing its fedora-wearing head every time a new lineup rolls in.
Azerbaijan- Cleopatra
One of the “better” trashy entries this year, comprised of about five different musical genres, six ancient cultures being appropriated and absolutely zero class. Probably sounds at least 50% better when you’re absolutely steaming drunk and face down on the floor in the middle of a gay bar.
Belarus- Da Vidna
Somehow, this song sounds both very unique and original yet trite and average at the same time. I couldn’t decide whether listening to it was a new experience or if I’d heard it a million times before.
Belgium- Release Me
A song which just drones on till it ends. I would say it’s ripping off the song that won last year, but it forgot that having a chorus stops your song from being three minutes of snooze.
Bulgaria- Tears Getting Sober
A typical breathy mumble-girl song, AKA a genre I can’t fucking stand. Really don’t see the hype with this one, the melody is pretty but the vocals are out for lunch and it’s otherwise completely and utterly boring.
Croatia- Divlji Vjetre
One of the token big dramatic ballads you listen to once, enjoy, then forget about until Darius in the Discord server plays it one night whilst you’re hitting up the radio bot with requests. You’ll find that “nice, but forgettable” is a common theme for this year.
Cyprus- Running
Ironically Cyprus didn’t send a crappy Fuego knockoff for 2020, and I say ironically because a crappy Fuego knockoff would’ve actually stood out this year, and I say crappy because honestly Fuego wasn’t even all that great to begin with. "Running” itself is just one of those edgy tortured soul pop songs which, let’s be honest, would have been paired with an impressive performance which would’ve overshadowed how bland it is. Kind of like “You’re the Only One”. Or even Fuego for that matter.
Czech Republic- Kemama
Standard Afro-pop, a genre we don't often see at the contest so I'll let it pass. I feel like this is the kind of song that’s infinitely better live, and that it would’ve been one of those songs that suddenly became a frontrunner after the semi finals, but I guess we’ll never know eh?
Denmark- Yes
The quintessential mid-10s Eurovision song. It's got guitars, happy people, Scandinavian origins… it’s just a typical radio guitar song, nothing special.
Estonia- What Love Is
I mean it's better than La Forza. Granted, the sound of someone pissing directly onto a microphone installed in the bowl of a toilet would sound better than La Forza but still. Going back to this song, it’s just... a standard Eastern-ballad with some very desperate lyrics. It feels kind of outdated, if I’m honest. Like something about this just reeks of 2011.
Finland- Looking Back
Yet another dreary, forgettable ballad. It comes to something when the best song they COULD have sent was a party song which sounded like it was from the mid 90s. At least that song was memorable. That said, this one at least has some decent lyrics. Bravo for that I guess.
France- Mon Alliée
France decides to say “fuck it” to being an underground fan-favourite and takes a leaf out of the UKs book by sending the same rent-a-Swede schlock they’ve been sending since 2015. I’m just confused as to why anyone in their right mind would choose to follow the UKs example but you do you France.
Germany- Violent Thing
A rehash of Sweden's entry from two years ago, but this time sung by Justin Bieber circa 2008. Kind of alright if you can stomach the singer's whiny voice, but otherwise pretty dull and kinda forgettable.
Greece- Superg!rl
Hello fellow kidz, we are hearing you like the girl power? The super heroes? The t3xt $p3ech? We made you song, please give us the votes *dabs*
Georgia- Take me as I Am
I mean… this sure is a choice. This feels like one of those songs that everyone memes on because the lyrics are kinda janky and the singer’s voice (and accent) take a bit of getting used to, but other than that it’s just one of those NQ songs for hipster fans to declare as their unironic winner at a later date. All in all this just feels like the male equivalent of one of those mid-10s fat acceptance women’s songs, only a lot shoutier and this time he has more flaws than not being skinny.
Iceland- Think About Things
A bootleg George Ezra song, performed by a load of disinterested tumblr users in their pyjamas. Because if there’s one thing that sells me on a song, it’s being given the evils by a bunch of nerds who look like they’ll send me death threats for not agreeing with their Pokémon headcanons. To be fair, the song is kind of groovy since it sounds so 70s, but the performance is very off-putting to people who aren’t in the Eurovision loop. And also people who are, because I sure as Hell don’t see the appeal in this myself and this whole performance just feels like Save Your Kisses for Me without the charm. I feel like this would’ve come second or third, definitely with a lot of televotes but either the jury would’ve dragged it down or it wouldn’t have scored enough televotes to win.
Ireland- Story of my Life
A song that’s at LEAST ten years out of date by this point, think like an early Katy Perry, Jessie J or Avril Lavigne song. I’ll forgive it because even though it sounds like it should’ve been entered in 2013 (at the latest), it at least evokes some nostalgic memories of shitty school discos and holiday parks.
Israel- Feker Libi
The female equivalent of the Czech song. Unsurprisingly, people went wild for it when it was released. I guess only women are allowed to sing Afro-pop at this contest. Like with the Czech song, I’ll forgive it since Afro-pop is a cool genre anyway, and even though this is just another club song I can at least see myself dancing to it.
Italy- Fai Rumore
Well, at least my wish of “Italy sends a typical power ballad devoid of anything the mainstream fandom likes” finally came true. It was pretty refreshing to have a year where people weren’t shoving Italy’s entry up my nose left right and centre. In terms of my actual thoughts I can’t deny that the guy has a tremendous voice, but for some reason the song just doesn’t… click with me. I guess I like my male Italian singers a little more gruff and raspy, if you know what I mean. They gotta sound like they smoke at LEAST five packets of cigarettes a day for me to take notice.
Malta- All of my Love
Listen I am 100% rooting for Destiny Chukunyere to win this contest some day but man was this song a disappointment. It feels so… un-special and generic, like it gets the job done and that’s it. It’s not the stand-up-and-belt-it-out soul anthem I’d hoped for, it’s just… there.
Moldova- Prison
All I remember about this song is that it vaguely reminds me of that one Meccano song about the gypsy who makes a deal with the moon or something. And I’ve TRIED to remember more about what it sounds like, trust me.
Latvia- Still Breathing
The one horrible weird song you get every year which overuses strobe effects to the point it comes with an epilepsy warning. Would be bearable if it wasn't for the singer’s insistence that this is actually some feminist masterpiece when it's really just a self-empowerment club song about the singer fingerbanging herself over the fact she writes music.
Lithuania- On Fire
One of the songs everyone thought was going to win at one point, even though it seems like a surefire non-qualifier to me. It’s one of those weird entries, but not the kind of over the top, batshit insane, you’d-have-to-be-drunk-to-enjoy-it weird, the kind of subdued surreal weird. Like this is weed instead of LSD or cocaine weird. Granted my mom, who I consider to be a "typical" Eurofan, actually really liked this song when she saw it in the recaps, so who knows maybe this would have done well with televoters after all.
Netherlands- Grow
I appreciate this song for how artsy and clever it is with its structure, since it starts off acapella and the instrumental builds up with the song until it stops suddenly, symbolising a person’s growth from a child into an adult, and ending suddenly with their death (Geddit? The song’s called “Grow”). But it feels like the kind of song that would be lost on a Eurovision audience. The juries would have taken note, for sure, but the televote… let’s be honest, they’d have been too busy drunk voting for Russia to care about anything else.
North Macedonia- You
Well, it's better than the miserable dirge they sent last year, but given how I'd rather pleasure myself with a steak knife than listen to that song, that really isn't saying much. Going back to “You”, it really just feels like a diet version of Switzerland’s entry from last year, combined with Sweden’s song from 2018. What I’m saying is it’s your average “I’m a man in a club and I want to dance with and probably fuck this hot girl I just met” song, which I a new genre I just made up. You’re welcome.
Norway- Attention
One of those songs you appreciate because it sounds nice and the singer has a good voice, but instantly forget because it’s really not all that interesting. If I sound like I'm repeating myself, welcome to Eurovision 2020.
Poland- Empires
“Rise Like a Phoenix” but sung by a wannabe Adele and not a mascara-wearing Jesus in a dress. Like a lot of other songs on this list, it’s just average across the board, likeable when it’s on, but instantly forgettable as soon as the next song comes on.
Portugal: Medo de Sentir
Pretty, but also similar to their ill-fated 2018 entry, only with a bit more energy and less pink hair. What I’m saying is this would have been another NQ unless the crowd who enjoy subtle ambience music come in to save it like they did with Slovenia's entry last year.
Romania- Alcohol You
See Bulgaria, because this is practically the same song. It’s just as dreary, just as badly sung (if not worse because holy shit this girl sounds like she’s being suffocated), and I suppose you COULD excuse that by saying she’s drunk or hungover… but I don’t want to listen to someone ungracefully mumble into a microphone for three minutes.
Russia- Uno
A classic big camp party song, the kind of song people who haven’t watched Eurovision since 2003 think wins on the regular. I can see why people would like it (especially in this boring year lmao, I applaud Russia for taking the opportunity to loosen their corset and just send a complete mess instead of their usual clinical vote grabs), but it’s just not something I enjoy. It's the song that plays into the misconception that Eurovision is just a clown show for drunk people, like this is just here to be that one flash-in-the-pan meme song that only entertains people who don’t really care about Eurovision until the day before it airs. Kind of like the old ladies they sent in 2012 (remember them?).
San Marino- Freaky!
San Marino, in true Sammarinese fashion, have yet again sent a decade-ambiguous song which sounds like it was either released in 1978 or 2003. I feel like this would have been one of those songs which could have surprised us if it had a really wacky, creative performance (think like Moldova in 2018), but this is San Marino so you know that would never happen.
Serbia- Hasta la Vista
Insert unoriginal joke about a decade wanting their shitty trend back right here. Okay maybe that’s a bit harsh, especially considering how this song is actually, yanno, unique in comparison to the rest of this year. But it still feels weirdly dated, in a way where I can’t decide whether it sounds like it belongs in 1998 or 2018. I suppose girl power ages a song regardless of when it was released.
Slovenia- Voda
Yet another standard Balkan-European power ballad which you appreciate because it’s well sung, but forget the moment it ends because it’s kinda boring. … Does anyone else have a bit of deja vu?
Spain- Universo
For some reason I feel like this song is shilling itself out to someone but I have no idea who. Aside from the horny people voting solely because the singer is moderately attractive even with that wretched Jedward haircut.
Sweden- Move
Imagine soul but… boring.
Switzerland- Répondez Moi
Imagine Arcade but… in French.
United Kingdom- My last Breath
Not the best the UK could have done, but it’s at least a modern offering unlike the residual dregs of the mid-90s that we sent throughout the 2010s. It’s definitely a bit too generic to have done any better than maybe 15th, but hey at least the cancellation means we won’t have to see it not do as well as the BBC thinks it’s entitled to do, prompting a billion clickbait articles about how Brexit somehow affected our performance.
Ukraine- Solovey
At long last we come to something you probably weren't expecting: a song I actually really like. Which is weird because I usually don't care for or don't like whatever Ukraine vomits into the contest, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a song I liked from them in such a weak year. This song isn’t for everyone, it’s white noise singing which is a very acquired taste, but this is honestly the only 2020 song I find myself coming back to over and over. And it’s in Ukrainian too, so you don’t have to put up with their usual mangled English offerings.

Hi Jessie! I’ve been toying with the idea of making a Hellenic polytheism discord server to try and get our community to connect and communicate more. Is that something that you or others would be interested in? Do you have advice?
Hello, love! People are always asking me about discords to join so it’s def something the community is always interested in. There are already a bunch but there’s def room for more!
My advice is don’t overwhelm yourself esp if this is your first time admining a server. If it is, then I advise taking it slow and maybe limiting how many people you let in at a time.
Make sure you have rules and guidelines already laid out before you open the server to members.
Get yourself some mods. Trust me they will be your saving grace esp as the server grows!
And just know that you can add things as you go along. You don’t need it ALL figured out right now. Once you get the hang of it and see what the energy of the community you built is like you’ll know what works and what doesn’t.
Oh and also bots are the best! 😁

Community Values, Guidelines & Rule Enforcement
Community Values
Queer Your Game is an international multi-game LGBTQIA+ only gayming community. We aim to provide our Gaymers with a protected cross-platform environment where we can all enjoy ourselves, meet new gay™ people from all over the world and gayme together safely. Queer Your Game welcomes all sorts of Gaymers regardless of gender, race, religion, nationality or level of skill.
Our community is live on Discord and you can join us today!
We expect everyone to behave responsibly, kindly and respectfully toward one another across all platforms and games.
The following guidelines are not exhaustive and we reserve the right to change and amend them as our community grows and we learn. We’ll let you know when we do, but we expect all of you to read them, accept them and abide by them.
One last thing, safety is our main concern and to that end, we are offering a moderated space.
You are the heart of this community. The way you behave is the way we all behave and your integrity is our integrity. If you see someone that needs help, if you witness something that’s against our guidelines or just plain wrong, say something. Do something. Tell a mod, alert us on social media, stand up for your fellow Gaymer as you would like your fellow Gaymer to stand up for you and help.

Community Guidelines
Queer Your Game is an LGBTQIA+ only community. What does that mean? Well, it means that if you are cisheteroromantic AND cisheterosexual then you can’t be part of this community. We appreciate that you consider yourself one of our cishet allies and we understand that you might have a spouse/partner, family members, friends and acquaintances who are LGBTQIA+ that you care about and support. However, due to the nature of the gaming community at large, we wish to keep QYG open to LGBTQIA+ folks only. PS: If you are cisAromantic and/or cisAssexual and you consider yourself Queer, we welcome you.
Our community guidelines must be respected cross-platforms. You must also abide by the community guidelines and terms of services of the platforms you are using. On Discord, you must respect Discord’s guidelines, on Twitter, you must respect Twitter’s guidelines, on Xbox, you must respect Xbox’s guidelines, etc.
Queer Your Game is not yet a corporation but we will abide by the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA), the European Union Copyright Law (EUCL), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the World Intellectual Property Organization Copyright Treaty (WIPO and WCT) and the World Trade Organization (WCT) on copyright and intellectual property. If the copyright and IP organization of your region isn’t mentioned here, please know that if we are contacted by them regarding copyright and intellectual property transgressions by our users, we will consider their inquiries just as seriously as those from the organizations mentioned above.
While we are on the subject of copyright and intellectual property, it’s important you remember that we consider fanart and derivative work to be fair use. Fair use is a right, don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. Using culture to express yourself and create your own representation is something that we at Queer Your Game actively encourage.
Reposting original art, derivative work, and fanart as your own without crediting the artist or appropriating art, derivative work, and fanart is forbidden. If we find out that you are stealing original art, derivative work, and fanart from the artists in our community—whether from Discord, Tumblr, Twitter, or anywhere else our users are present—for commercial purposes, you will be reported to said platforms, to the relevant authorities, and you will be immediately banned from Queer Your Game. Forever.
The sharing and/or promoting of illegal activities and illegal materials, like piracy, copyright and intellectual property infringement, betting and gambling, pornography, pornography involving children/animals/violence, political parties, etc. are forbidden in our community cross-platforms.
Please don’t use the community Discord and other platforms for your advertisement of any kind, unless you are affiliated with Queer Your Game and/or we have given you permission to do so. Yes, that includes charities and fandom projects. Do not ever ask for money or promote your Ko-fi, your Patreon, your PayPal, your Kickstarter, your IndieGoGo, etc. unless you are affiliated with Queer Your Game and we have given you permission to do so.
Remember when we said that your safety is our main concern at Queer Your Game? That starts with keeping your personal information secret. Do not ever share your personal information in our Discord Server or publically on our other platforms. If you want to share your personal information with a fellow Gaymer, add them as a friend and share what you wish to share via private direct messages.
Nobody at Queer Your Game, Admins or Mods, will ever ask you for your personal information in our Discord server—unless you are in the SOS channel and you are requiring immediate IRL assistance, and we do mean life or death situations.
If you are caught sharing another Gaymer’s personal information, you will be banned. If you obtained that information illegally, we will report you to the authorities in your country of residence.
To become a part of our gayming community you need to follow our application process. We do not allow Gaymers to have multiple accounts—especially if you have been kicked or banned and you’re trying to trick us into adding you again. Don’t do it.
If we catch you impersonating another Gaymer, you will be banned and reported.
By the way, don’t use offensive usernames. By offensive we mean insulting, discriminatory, violent, sexual, etc.. Oh and don’t copy another Gaymer’s username either.
We are running an 18 and older Discord server and we don’t mind you discussing all sorts of topics, including sex. I mean, we’re gay. It’s okay. Just don’t be inappropriate. Don’t link to porn, under 18 content, illegal content, or you know, all the stuff we already mentioned above. Don’t upload under 18 or NSFW content in the chat, don’t use porn/violent/discriminative GIFs, don’t swear like a sailor, don’t spam.
Using our community Discord for sexual acts or intercourse, the promotion of sexual services and the exploitation of children is prohibited.
We will have zero tolerance for Gaymers who bully, harass, verbally abuse or berate other Gaymers in-game, on Discord or any other platforms Queer Your Game is on. Hate speech is not okay. Do not promote violence against anyone, especially other marginalized folks. If we catch you bashing on someone, alone or in a group, you’re done.
If you have a disagreement with someone or you’re getting upset and you feel like lashing out, find a Mod, take a break. If you can’t manage what’s going on in the moment, walk away, send us an email or DM us. Criticism should always be polite and constructive. In fact, one of the mottos we use in every aspect of our work at Queer Your Game is “To be a voice of criticism, be a force of proposition.” It’s good advice; you’re welcome.
Trolling in-game, on Discord and other platforms Queer Your Game is on is unacceptable. Don’t ruin the experience of other people. That goes for spoiling. Whether it’s about a game, a movie, a book, a tv show, just don’t spoil, okay? Now, we know some of you will want to talk about every bit of spoiler and juicy news out there so we made you a channel on Discord.
In-game, we expect you to show fair play, to win with dignity and lose with grace, and to support your fellow Gaymers and teammates. Cheating and hacking are prohibited. Respect in-game rules and codes of conduct. No friendly kills, no awoxing, no spawn killing, no stealing from other Gaymers, no destroying other Gaymers property. Oh and no botting.
Raging is a no-go. Don’t rage quit, don’t yell at your fellow Gaymers, don’t insult people, don’t swear excessively, etc.. If you can’t handle what’s going on in-game, if you know you’re going to lose it, walk away. It’s that simple.
Cooperation and support are promoted within Queer Your Game. We like transparency and we think that champions, raid leaders and more skilled Gaymers should lead and help and teach and theorycraft and strategize and all the good things that can advance their fellow Gaymers, their own teams, parties and guilds of Gaymers. Just don’t go around sharing all of that on social media unless it’s made clear that it’s okay or you’re the person who came up with it.
At Queer Your Game we consider ourselves proponents of social justice and equal rights. We also know what a lot of social media platforms and communities refuse to acknowledge: tech and media are not neutral and no community or person is apolitical. While we encourage conversation and we understand that nobody’s perfect and no content is unproblematic, we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy the diversity of our community as they have fun, share, learn, educate themselves and grow. We expect all Gaymers to be on their best behavior. If you witness any of the following behaviors, report it to a Mod.
Racism, anti-blackness, xenophobia, white supremacy, Islamophobia, antisemitism, cultural appropriation, and bigotry will not be tolerated.
If you’re a transphobe or a TERF, don’t apply. We don’t want you. We also expect Gaymers to respect their fellow Gaymers’ pronouns. Misgendering will be sanctioned.
Sexism and misogyny won’t be tolerated. If you’re a white feminist, we don’t like you either. And if you don’t know what that is, we encourage you to check Google.
Ableism, food-shaming, fat-shaming, and all physical discrimination or belittling are rude and forbidden.
Don’t police, gatekeep, etc.. We have Mods and Admins, and we have guidelines. Your judgment of others is not required nor welcome.
Threats, incitation to violence and self-destroying behaviors, and any activity or conversation that could lead to your physical or emotional harm are completely forbidden and will get a Gaymer banned.
Suicide stunts or self-harm for attention-seeking, entertainment, or bad jokes will be sanctioned.
We have created an SOS text chat and voice channel on our Discord. Our intention is to provide a safe space for any Gaymer who would find themselves in a sudden and terrible struggle. If you are in danger, if you are in crisis, if you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, etc., anything that would require immediate assistance, you can, if you choose to, go into the SOS text and voice channels.
We want to make it clear that, even though our Moderators are notified that if they are alerted or see a Gaymer in an SOS channel, they should immediately check on them, we cannot shoulder the responsibility of your well being and your safety. We will not offer professional and trained support even if some of our Moderators and Admins could be trained professionals. For now, we can only provide you with a safe space and common sense help if we are able. We will call the police or an ambulance if you need them and we happen to be able to. We will stay with you if you require a presence. We will help provide you with crisis helpline phone numbers if they’re available where you reside so you can seek the appropriate help.
Please don’t abuse the SOS channels. We cannot stress enough that this specific gesture is a way for Queer Your Game to show you in action that we care. We are not in any position to be responsible for your safety and/or your well being and we do not make any promises of trained support or life-altering actions. Therefore Queer Your Game—as private individuals or as a corporation—is not liable for you.
Rule Enforcement
Queer Your Game is a moderated space, on Discord, on Social Media, in forums, and in-game. We have Moderators, Admins, and Super Admins.
As a moderated space and community, Queer Your Game does, in fact, exercise a certain censure as described in our community guidelines. We reserve the right to change them, although we will let you know when that happens.
The appreciation of your violations and of your behaviors remain up to the discretion of our Mods, Admins and Super Admins. You can appeal a sanction, a temporary kick or ban, a definitive ban, etc. by emailing us at [email protected]. The decision to maintain, alter or lift your sanction(s) is also to the discretion of our Mods, Admins and Super Admins.
The offense system is as follows:
You can get warnings of different gravity in-game, in Discord chat or voice channels, in your mentions and in your DMs or PMs depending on the platform you commit your offense on.
If warnings don’t have an immediate impact on your behavior, you can be asked to a private conversation with a Mod, an Admin or a Super Admin on Discord.
A small offense will get you an email, a DM or a PM, possibly a temporary time out or kick, most likely a private scolding and a mark on your account.
A serious offense will get you the same treatment as a small offense, a definite scolding, a kick or ban for the length we deem fit, and you will lose your status in the community. When you come back, you will have to go through a return interview and you will start fresh as a Padawan Gaymer on probation.
A grave offense will mean your immediate kick from our Discord and a ban will be decided by our team of Mods, Admins, and Super Admins. You’ll receive an email informing you of your ban and our definitive decision.
We may ask for your opinions, thoughts, and ideas in polls and voting events.
We at Queer Your Game think strongly about the ethics of our project. We believe in transparency and in taking in different perspectives. To that end, we regularly consult with outside professionals in different fields and we are in the process of recruiting different individuals for our reference and sensitivity group.

Tumblr media
After completely forgetting about these little recommendations I’d been doing I’m back and this week I’m recommending my four favourites @southsidewrites, @worriestothewind, @rivendell101 and @sweetpeasbabydoll for all their hard work in setting up and running the blog @southsidearchive, as well as the corresponding Southside discord server.
Blog type: @southsidearchive is an archive of Southside-centric Riverdale fan fiction, with 800+ fics currently added to their collection and more on the way. With the ability to submit your own fics to the Archive, to simply browse and read your about your favourite character(s) or to participate in upcoming events being hosted by the blog, it is attempting to revitalise and support those writers and creators who have and are continuing to make content for our favourite Southsiders.
Blog tag: Tag ‘southsidearchive’ on your posts in the first five tags of the original post to submit your fics and ensure they are added to the Archive. Please note: The length of the southsidearchive queue is not short, and so you may not see your fic be reblogged straight away, but rest assured it will be reblogged.
Discord type: The Southside Archive Discord Server is a server dedicated to building a tighter-knit community within for Southside lovers and creators and is currently home to over 60 members. With daily and weekly writing challenges as well as writing sprints, a points-based reward system, channels for advice on both fics and graphics, a community of people who are available to beta-read and a growing family of Southside bots ready for you to play with, the discord server truly is a place for community and support within our fandom.
Discord link: If you are interested in joining the Southside Archive Discord Server, you can do so by clicking HERE.
Recommendatory note: The sheer amount of work that these four have put into the @southsidearchive blog and the discord server is truly staggering and completely understated.
Since setting up the blog and the server, all four of these ladies have been responsible for making it what it is today by reblogging entire masterlists from creators to add to the Archive, trawling through tags to find new fics and new authors, making icons, banners and promotional posts, coding bots and planning fandom-wide events, to name only a few of the things they do on a daily basis.
Everything they have done, they’ve done out of the goodness of their heart and they’ve dedicated so much of their own time to making both the blog and the discord server the best it can be. I’m so proud of these ladies and everything they have achieved in the short amount of time they’ve been working on this project, and I can’t wait to see how successful they’ll be. It’s a pleasure working on this alongside them, and even more of a pleasure being their friend.
I truly believe that what they’ve done so far has made a huge difference to the Southside fandom, and they should be so proud of themselves.
Becca, Alisha, Liz and Jes; I hope you know how truly appreciated you all are in this fandom. What you’ve done so far has been absolutely unreal! You are some of the most dedicated and lovely bloggers on here, and your hard work in supporting the fandom with your own work, in addition to this new blog, is not given enough praise. I am a firm believer that without the four of you, the Southside fandom wouldn’t be a fraction of what it is right now. You are unsung heroes, and I love and appreciate each of you so much more than a simple Riverdale recommendation post could ever convey.
Make sure to check out all of these ladies in their own right, in addition to checking out the @southsidearchive blog and the discord server!
