#i read mostly scifi and fantasy#but it is not exclusive i'll try anything if it comes with a rec behind it#dabbled in the romantasy genre for my friend and those are /not/ for me#not for the smut nothing against the sexy times#imo they just weren't very good books#if you are there for the romance then that buoys the quality but the romances didn't interest me - weren't fantasies i relate to -#so they were just mediocre and not my cup of tea#i've read better smutty fanfic so i'll stick to that thanks#been in a bit of slump for good books this year which has been frustrating#best books thus far have been the three-body problem and the adventures of amina al-sirafi#especially amina al-sirafi that book was a romp absolutely adored it#book club
