i really love young Basim ok? He’s kind and respectful and every time I think an annoying trope is going to happen it doesn’t. Of the “young hotheaded apprentice ignores master’s advice and is super impatient about reaching his goals” kind. But no. Roshan tells him stuff and at most he goes “I don’t get what you mean but I will follow your advice and work hard instead of being a prideful know it all”. Idk. I love him, I’m sad about the Isu nonsense plots

#this is the first time in years that I was this into an AC game #Valhalla was fine but it felt like it veered too far off course with the general mood #trying too lean too hard into grimdark Viking aesthetic and too far from the Assassin’s whole deal #i mean it was fine but Eivor more or less never had a motivation for hunting the Order besides individual occurances #besides Fulke it was mostly about gaining power rather than revenge or some important higher goal or #idk….#i miss Altaïr but I have no console or device that can run AC1 #I love seeing Alamut again
