I will always be a firm believer in platonic Bertie and Tim. Doesn't mean I don't enjoy them being shipped romantically or anything, it's just a hill I will die on that they're platonic. They're tight, besties, platonic soulmates, etc etc. Maybe they still kiss and everything! They can! But platonically. Maybe even QPR if you wish. I think blowing up the moon that killed your bestie is a perfectly reasonable response. My aspec ass just profoundly adores deep platonic relationships and I want to see more characters going bloodthirsty crazy over the lose of a platonic loved one like their bestie. Love to see it :)

The darkness encircling him was almost overwhelming after thousands of years of near constant night vision and he almost flinched again at the feeling. Instead, he blinked a few times, allowing his vision to adjust the way it used to before the cannon.

He could only make out vague shapes in the minimal light coming from fires outside the hole he was dragged into so he couldn’t quite confirm whether it actually was him who had pulled him in there.

Given that GPTvTMK is where we find out that the Toy Soldier obeys any order given to it, and that Jonny describes the circumstances of Bertie's death as "hilarious" I think it's reasonable to assume that the Toy Soldier killed Bertie. By the time Tim found out, it had been so long that he had lost any sense of morality and didn't care

Hello, was thinking about this the other day and with all the mechs asks going around I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask so-

Do u hc that the mechs are a bunch of bored immortal theater kids that plan+write their albums

Or that they just randomly start singing sometimes and no one knows why?

(I’ve seen multiple different band members answer this and they all answered it differently, so I’m not asking the canonical answer just ur head canons)

I do hc that they plan and write their albums, but honestly mostly because you can get some REALLY nice angst from it

I have one specific example now, but there’s definitely others, and that’s they never say how Bertie dies in GPTvTMK bc of Tim, bc he doesn’t like it, so they just decided to do “Muddy, pointless, and quite frankly hilarious”

But also taking it from a slightly more… practical angle? Ig?

I do technical theater (predominately sound but as is the nature I have a baseline knowledge of other things as well)

The thought of teching a show where you do not have ANY clue about what is going to happen is TERRIFYING

Anyway, that’s my two cents, sorry it’s really long, but thank you for the ask!!
