Angel: “I don’t, I really, deeply, don’t.  Vio’s gone, and tears aren’t going to bring him back.  And...And you’re here, and the twins need that.  If you’re willing to stay, we can figure out the specifics.”

Carny: “More than willing.  I...I don’t know how I’d get through this without you, honestly.  I don’t know how I’d cope if you told me to leave.”

Angel: “Me either, and maybe that’s something we should talk about, too.  But in the morning.”

Carny: “In the morning.”

The Pastel Rainbowacy by @berrysweetboutique has been enticing me for a little while and I’ve given in.

So meet Coconut Truffle a la Mode!

Coco’s father is a conspiracy theorist who believes the aliens are out to abduct Raws and study them. Cookie a la Mode has sheltered Coconut and himself in their hidden shack since the abduction of his wife. However, alien abduction was just Cookie’s mind reacting to the traumatic experience of losing his wife in childbirth.

Now a teenager Coco wants nothing more than to leave the shack and paint her own path.

About Key Point Dormitory posts

Since my Moonshines and Prisms are currently sharing a save, instead of being tagged as “#Prism bpr #Prism Gen 4 #Gen Orange #berrypastelrainbowacy #Moonshine Gen 2 #tarot storytelling challenge, the only tag is going to be #Key point dormitory while they’re at school because I am lazy. During visits over the holidays where the families are separate, the tags will be labelled accordingly. Just letting you know if you’re sorting through the stories by the tags. Obviously, they won’t stay at school forever so the stories will eventually diverge but for the time being that’s what’s going on but all Key Point Dormitory posts are for both Prism gen 4 and Moonshine Gen 2. 

Posts will be structured with the Moonshine portion of biased narration about mostly Cherry with her perspective followed by August Breeze’s spotty story recollection of same events.

Angel: “Oh, where should we start?  How about Cetus refuses to eat anything other than ham and cheese sandwiches and will fling everything else on the floor?”

Quartz: “Ooooh!  I’m sooo scaaaared!” *sarcasm*

Carny: “How about that Cygnus cries and throws a fit when he isn’t the center of attention?”

Angel: “Or how Cygnus is potty trained and hates diapers but somehow can’t manage to get his pants off in time consistently and sometimes wets himself?”

Quartz: “I...I can handle a little pee.”

Carny: “...You heard that, huh?”

Angel: “Yeah...”

Carny: “I’m not trying to replace him, you know that, right?  I never could.  Berry, I-”

Angel: “I know.  This...This is something we needed to talk about for a while, probably well before now.”

Carny: “I think that’s enough story for tonight.  We can pick it up tomorrow.  Sweet dreams, buddy.”

Cygnus: *yawn* “Ni-ni, Dada.”

Carny: “...Night-night, buddy.”

Carny: “At least we have our own bathroom, huh, Mickey?”

Mickey: *sad whine*

Carny: “Don’t give me that look, this has been a long time coming and you know it.”

Though maybe it’s not surprising she ended up my girl, even getting me out of the house more and as friendly and sweet as a lamb.

It was occasionally obvious the kids had their favorites to learn from.  And Mickey had a new favorite, too.

Angel: “Gonna learn to talk too, huh, Mickey?”

Mickey: “Arwarwarwar!”

Carny: “I don’t know what I want.  I remember thinking how we met was like a romcom, and that I wasn’t expecting a gorgeous girl to drop in my lap, but like you said last night, my feelings are complex.”

Angel: “I completely understand.”

Carny: “It also kinda sucks, because if I had been a little more flexible in my orientation, we probably could have all gotten together.”

Angel: “Yeah, he mentioned being in love with you in college.”

Carny: “Probably still was.”

Angel: “I want to think he’d be glad we stay together, however we fall, but...”

Angel: “Like an awkward first date, right?”

Carny: “Heh, yeah.  That’s what I was thinking.”

Angel: “We should probably just get to the point.”

Carny: “Right...Where do we go from here?  Like, do we just stay friends and co-parent?”

Angel: “Do you want to?”

Angel: “Why does it bother you?”

Carny: “Because even some hypothetical guy deserves to be remembered by his kids!  I just...Vio loved you from the moment you met.”

Angel: “And you didn’t?”

Carny: “I did...which is what makes this worse.  I’m here, and he’s not, and I feel like I’m stealing the life he was supposed to have.”

Angel: “If it helps...I want you to stick around.  I don’t mind you being their dad.”

Vio: “Oh, I’m almost done!”

Reedy: “Really?  Just need the pictures then, at this point?”

Vio: “No, I was going to use some old stocks you have that fit the theme.  Why, planning on luring me to a dark alley to sell me out to the mob?”

Reedy: “What?  Don’t be silly!”

Angel: “I’m not alone!  I have Cetus and Cygnus!”

Quartz: “It’s not socialization I’m worried about, but that does remind me I need to visit.  I’m worried about your safety.  I don’t have a lot going on right now, so I can move in with you if you don’t have anyone else lined up.”

Angel: “I...I can probably get Carny to move in, he was talking about his lease coming up and looking for other places.”

Quartz: “If he can’t, call me, I’ll move in.  I don’t want you alone.”
