NiGHTS met Berceuse entirely by chance by flying directly through the weak point of her cloaking shield, otherwise they would've just bumped into it. They also think that Berceuse is a Nightmaren they haven't met whereas she thinks they're a Lite Sprite, neither of them really care in the end 'cause they got a new friend.

All of Berceuse's abilities. She also has an alternate outfit for dancing. The text under the readmore 'cause it's a lot:

Her singing can calm ANY level Nightmaren/Nightopian

3rd level Nightmarens are calmed to incapacitation

Her singing can create a forcefield that protects visitors and Nightopians alike

If a Nightmaren is withing range before she starts, they are simply pushed out except if they are 1st levels

Nightmarens can't see the forcefield but can hear her singing

Her forcefield isn't invulnerable though, it has a weak point; wherever Berceuse's singing is loudest

However, only a 1st level Nightmaren can find it, whether it be through listening carefully or getting lucky

Her shawl flows out when when she sings and shows whichever notes she's currently singing

The notes linger then fade when she stops

When Berceuse is done singing, her shawl floats back to her so she can wrap it around herself

Her singing can repair broken structures

However, if a structure's too big or she does it too much, she'll get worn out and need to rest

Berceuse can make shields to protect allies and herself

Can make up to 3 shields but only up to a certain distance

Shields can take the form of a bubble or a conch-like design

While she is defensive whereas her sister is offensive, Berceuse can throw punches if necessary (her big hands aren't just for show)

If Berceuse takes a lot of damage or a hard hit, she can crack like porcelain

She can be repaired by the Light Goddess, Clobberina, or by just resting

Berceuse can mimic voices and sounds like a lyrebird

While she mainly uses it for mischief, she can use it for diversions if needed

While Berceuse mainly dances ballet and sings lullabies and ballads, she can sing and dance sing in different styles

She likes to hold concerts for visitors and Nightopians

Berceuse calls Nightopians 'Lightopians' due to mishearing their name when being taught about them when she was young

Nobody had the heart to correct her until NiGHTS

When she flies, she leaves a trail of bubbles

While she can fly, she can't paraloop like NiGHTS

Berceuse can transform a little but not to the extent NiGHTS can

She can do mild transformations like the mermaid but can't do the more drastic ones like a car or a dragon
