A Peacock, serviço de streaming americano, divulgou o primeiro teaser de The Continental. A série é o primeiro spin-off de John Wick, que estreia ainda este ano.

Apesar do Peacock ter compartilhado os pôsteres, o teaser e ser o streaming responsável pela exibição da série nos Estados Unidos, no Brasil a produção chegará na Amazon Prime Video.

Anunciado como um “evento de três partes”, a minissérie promete contar a história do hotel, que é refúgio para os assassinos do universo de John Wick. A história irá focar em Winston Scott, que nos filmes é interpretado por Ian McShane, mas dessa vez será vivido por Colin Woodell, já que a produção mostrará uma versão mais jovem de Winston.

O spin-off ainda conta com Greg Coolidge e Kirk Ward como showrunners, produtores executivos e roteiristas da produção. Já o elenco, além de Colin Woodell, conta com Ayomide Adegun, que viverá uma versão mais jovem de Charon, Peter Greene, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada, Nhung Kate e Mel Gibson.
