with her phone the only light in her otherwise pitch black room, every word on the screen seems BIGGER, heavier.

there were thousands of comments under her new video     and mia couldn’t stop reading every single one of them. the nice ones, praising her baking skills and positivity... those fell to the background, eclipsed by the ones taking jabs at her. it didn’t matter what mia did, there would always be people criticizing her technique or her content... or just her in general.

it wasn’t as though she didn’t know mean comments came with the spotlight. she just never thought she’d be so ill-prepared to handle them. people liked mia. she could make friends with anyone, always lighting up any room she walked into. but maybe that was just in hillford. maybe she wasn’t equipped to handle the harshness of the real world after all.

she wonders if this would be easier to endure if it was actually the future she wanted for herself     if her dream was to be in the public eye promoting her pastries. but it wasn’t. mia’s real dream... only beth knew what that was.

who would believe mia if she said she wanted to pursue law? her cousins would be kind enough not to laugh to their face... but would they support her? would they think she could actually pull it off, the way beth did? did it even matter anymore?

from under the blankets she can hear a quick pitter patter approaching. mia frowns in confusion, finally putting her phone down. her mother was still at work, and luke wasn’t supposed to come in until friday.

as she peeks out just a little and turns on her bedside lamp, the mystery visitor soon makes themselves known. “ benny! ” his name comes out in half-surprise, half-laugh. “ how did you get in here? ” beth was surely following in tow     but mia wouldn’t doubt his resolve to come over for some belly rubs.

the corgi barks as if to answer her question, paws tapping on the floor. “ yeah yeah, i know. ” mia leans down to pick him up, gently setting him on the bed. “ i have to get you a step. ” she’s been meaning to for months now... but something always came up.

hearing beth come up the stairs, mia’s quick to wipe away her tears. she hates lying to her best friend     but she’d hate even more to worry her. “ hey. ” mia greets her with a small smile. “ benny beat you to it. ”

I think Ben's done filming his part, at least the principal stuff. It's possible he'll go back in for additional recorded lines, but that's not usually announced, because it's - I think - considered part of the editing process, and also not as fun to watch as actual filming. But his part wasn't very big (I think we all agreed on that), so he's probably done.

It might be a b-day trip, it might just be for fun. Are there any kids in his family? Is he an uncle? I've seen someone refer to him as "Uncle Ben" but I don't know if it's true.

But hey, you definitely don't need kids to have fun in a Disney park!

I have no idea about his fam, frankly I don't wanna know x.x went back to the tweet and it ain't saying nothing about any lil spawns of satan so I'd assume there were none? Maybe some friends, does Benny have any friends left? I suppose he was the child in the fam bdaaay trip scenario. Kinda jealous ngl
