also, the 5.2 update was very heartbreaking. the story may have been different from m experience, but it reminded me a lot of my childhood before moving to mondstadt.

i almost never respond to my moms texts (because i honestly don't like her very much, long and complicated history there), but she sent me a funny meme so i sent a lol back. and thats the extent of my conversations with my mom goes.

wow! turns out i only have one post on this blog and its the intro. i guess thats because ive got nothing much to talk about at the moment, but i have been (albeit slowly) playing through the natlan update.

personally, i really like it (save for some things, like the lack of skin diversity, but hey, in character for hoyoverse i suppose). there are some differences from my memories (its smaller than i remember, but you have to keep in mind everything in genshin is smaller than it probably actually is for playability). most of my natlan memories are from when i was really young anyway, since i ended up in mondstadt by the time i was 10 or 11. memories fade!

personally, i grew up in a more dry and deserty area of the place, not the bright and colourful stuff we have now. im assuming the map will be more diverse as more of natlan comes out, but yeah. i do remember traveling with my mother for her shows to different tribes and even the arena, so yeah.

one thing of my memories that turned out to be spot on though was fighting your way to archonhood, haha! i remember back in 2021 i wrote a fic about that and iansan who, at the time, we the only natlan character we knew of. this was also before i figured out i was fictionkin. the fic actually wasn't like my memories at all, but that specific tidbit was.

also, the saurians? love those guys. very fun. i guess the major different is that in my memories it was a civil war and not against the abyss.

so yeah, once a millennia post is over. im going to continue playing the archon quest now.

im bennettfromnatlan, or rather, just bennett. my pronouns are he/him (nothing else, unless otherwise stated) and im both a bennett genshin impact fictionkin and also the host of a system with like...at LEAST 10 bennett introjects.

this is a blog mainly to talk about my experiences with being both a system and fictionkin, being a fictionkin in general, kinning bennett specifically, and various other topics. other headmates of mine will also post here, with their own tags if they want to.

as for me specifically...

my name is bennett (as previously stated), my favourite colour is yellow, i have memories ranging all the way to my 30s (WOW!) but for an internal age i mostly hang around the 16-19 range. bodily, i am a minor, so keep that in mind. personally, i believe my fictionkinity is both a mix of spiritual and psychological reasons. i really love fischl, and i pulled many, many bitches in my canon.

addendum: it was a civil war but the abyss was also involved because of course they were. i think the reason why the civil war ended is because everyone realized they had better things to do (fight the abyss) than eachother. i wasnt there for that tho so who knows.
