Summary: You're at an amusement park with your girlfriend Rhea and decide to join her on a horror roller-coaster. Although you're easily scared you think it can't be that bad. Well you were wrong and a long night full of problems is waiting for you..

"You okay?" Your girlfriend asks you, looking a little concerned. "You haven't said anything since we're waiting in line here"

You were at an amusement park and currently waiting in line for a crazy horror roller coaster.

You nod slightly and continue starring at the floor and picking at the skin around your nails. Rhea notices and takes your hands in hers, trying to stop you from hurting yourself any further.

You try to pull your hands away from her but she doesn't let go. "Let go, please!" You complain quietly. "Only if you stop picking at your skin. I don't want you to bleed again." Rhea says in a soft voice and loosens her grip. You sigh and let your hands slip out of hers

"I'm sorry, it's just my social anxiety again, sorry for ruining this" you mumble. "Oh no you didn't ruin anything baby!" Rhea reassures you, and pulls you close to give you a little kiss on your temple. You smile to yourself. *What in the world did I do to deserve this girl* you think.

The gates open and you're allowed to pick your seats on the roller coaster. The two of you managed to get the two places in the very front. You know how much your girlfriend loves horror and although you don't, you join the ride because you want to make her happy.

The ride starts and you immediately regret getting in. You're easily scared and there are so many jumpscares and other stuff that just freak you out. At the end you are crying and hyperventilating. Rhea helps you get out and tries to calm you but you break down into a panic attack.

"I'm so sorry darling, I- you didn't have to- oh I'm so sorry" she stumbles over her words and hugs tight. She holds you for a while, not bothering about the weird looks from strangers that are passing by.

After a few minutes your heavy crying and shaking slowly subsides and Rhea slightly pulls away to look at you. She cups your cheek, wiping away the tears with her thumb. "Let's get home" she whispers and helps you get up.

Wrapping your hands around her neck you bury your head in her shoulder, still sobbing. Rhea picks you up and you wrap your legs around her waist. She then easily carries you all the way to the car.

Once in the car Rhea softly asks you:"Was that a panic attack?" and you nod. The drive home was silent, your girlfriend kept her hand on you thigh the entire time, stroking it with her thumb or tracing patterns with her fingers to calm you down some more.

About an hour later you're home. It's already 7:30 pm. Rhea offers you the best princess treatment, carring you inside bridal style and running you a hot bath to relax, while cooking your favorite meal.

After eating she helps you undress so you could take your bath. "..can you stay with me? I don't want to be alone right now" you ask her, holding her by her hand as she was about to leave. Rhea turns back around with a warm smile "of course i can baby, I'd do anything for you!" She sits down next to the bath tub, holding your hand.

The room is silent for some time, but it's a comfortable silence. In fact, some of your favorite memories with your girlfriend are moments like these, where you just sit together and cuddle in silence or watch a movie.

"What's going on inside your beautiful, little head right now, hm?" Rhea whispers. She'd been stroking your hand with her thumb for the past few minutes, lost in her thoughts. "I don't know, just been thinking about what happened at the park.." you mumble in response.

"Hey if it's because you think you ruined something then no, you absolutely did not!" Rhea says and turns to look at you. She cups your cheek again and strokes it with her thumb. You lean into her touch and close your eyes. "It's hard to believe although I know you would never lie to me" you finally respond. You then chuckle to yourself, thinking how stupid this must sound to your girlfriend.

Rhea offers you an understanding smile. "Let's get ready for bed. We could turn on your favorite movie, what do you think?" She suggests. You nod, "I'd love that!" You smile back at her. She helps you get up and out of the slippery bath tub before grabbing a towel for you to dry off.

"Be right back" she says and hurries off in the direction of your bedroom.She returns with your favorite fluffy blanket and wraps you in it, including your arms so you can't move any anymore. "Burritobaby" she giggles. She's holding you tight from behind to keep the blanket from falling. "You idiot" you laugh and try to wiggle free. "You don't have a chance against me" Rhea jokes and picks you up, carrying you to the bedroom.

"Hey, you forgot my Pyjamas" you cackle. "Don't need your pjs, they're just another useless layer of fabric on your beautiful body" Rhea states and grins.She drops you on the bed before getting in herself.

"I love you just the way you are, burrito" she mocks you lovingly and kisses your cheek. You finally managed to free your hands and punch her jokingly. You both giggle until Rhea turns to grab the tv remote.

"Can we watch 'Finding Nemo' ?" You ask hopefully. "Sure we can" Rhea shrugs. "If it helps you then I'm open for anything" she smirks and kisses you softly.

The movie begins and your partner holds her arms open for you to snuggle up to her. It doesn't take you long to fall asleep in her comfortable embrace that makes you feel so safe and at peace.

It's about half past two in the morning as you wake up from a bad nightmare. You're crying, shaking, but you didn't dare to wake your girlfriend. She was in desperate need of sleep due to travelling so much in her businesses and watching her lay there so peacefully, you didn't want to take that from her.

Trying to muffle your cries you press your hand over your mouth as you sneak into the bathroom. You're feeling uncomfortable still being naked so you quickly grab your pajamas and put them on. They're just shorts and a t-shirt but better than nothing.

Giving the door behind you a little push in order to close it, you walk over to the sink. Your vision is blurry and you're so focused on being quiet that you don't notice the door not fully closing.

You hastily open the first drawer. With shaking hands you look for the extra blades of your razor. There not there. *shit where did I put them??* your mind is racing. You're panicking. "Fuck!" You cry out and immediately curse yourself afterwards for not keeping quiet. *Great, now I woke Rhea* you think.

Opening the second drawer you don't even bother too much anymore with being quiet, thinking your girlfriend is awake now anyway. Rubbing the back of your hand across your eyes you manage to wipe away some tears to get a clearer vision.

Finding the blades you were looking for you try to take one out quickly, but struggle with your shaking hands. You finally get one out and start using it to cut your upper thigh. You're hoping for some kind of relief from all these bad feelings and thoughts and in the past it worked, but only for a few minutes.

Rhea knew about your past, and now you remember the promise you gave her. You promised her to try and talk to her first before taking matters into your own hands.You only cry harder, now that you know you broke your promise.

You didn't deserve her. She didn't deserve you, she deserved someone that she could do anything with, someone that would keep their promises and would be able to focus more on her instead of always being afraid of their own actions. Your mind fools you, just making it worse and worse.

You're kneeling on the floor, blood and tears streaming down your face and thighs and staining the rug in front of the sink. You're crying so hard you don't notice the person standing in the doorway.

Rhea was shocked to see you like this, she never once thought that the ride in the horror roller coaster would traumatise you so much. "Y/n?" She whispers and you flinch in surprise.

"God baby why didn't you wake me? We could have talked, I could have helped you" her voice is full of sorrow. She was blaming herself. Rhea slowly makes her way over to you, wanting to kneel besides you, hug you, take the blade from you. Anything to stop you from hurting yourself.

"Go away" you sob and your hand that's holding the blade begins to shake again as it's gripping it so hard. "Y/n, baby.." Rhea mumbles and reaches out to touch your shoulder.

"Go away, don't touch me" you repeat quietly. But Rhea doesn't hear you, or she does but decides to ignore it. Her fingers slightly graze you skin at that's when everything get's too much.

"I SAID DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME RHEA!" you yell at her and jump up. Your girlfriend looks at you, mouth agape and eyes wide with shock. You never screamed at her before, not like that.

She slowly gets to her feet and tries to reach out to you once again. "Y/n hey, let's talk about this. I'm sure we can-" but you cut her off.

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" You yell and throw the next best thing you could grab at her. A bar of soap that was lying on the sink. Rhea stumbles back but it hits her right above her left eye. Tears form in her eyes. She's crying.

You break down again. What have you done. You're sure you've lost her now, surely she's gonna leave you after this. "I- I'm so sorry! I- I just can't handle this anymore I don't know what to do" you cry out.

"Come here" Rhea whispers sobbing. You hesitate a moment but then agree and take a small step towards her. A sigh of relief leaves Rhea's lips and she immediately rushes towards you and hugs you tight. You accept it and even hug her back.

You're standing there for at least a few minutes, just holding onto each other and sobbing. "It's okay darling, it's okay I've got you, I'll always be here for you!" Rhea whispers against your skin in the crook of your neck.

"I love you so much!" You sob in her shirt and cling onto her even tighter. "I love you too!" She murmurs back and kisses your neck. "And as much as I hate to let go of you now but we need to clean those wounds" she sighs.

You grumble, but you know it's necessary. You've already stained most of the small rug and since it's a white one it'll probably never wash out again. You slowly let go of each other.

"Sit down on the edge of the bath tub okay? I'll take care of you" Rhea says and let her hand glide down your arm as she turns to get her first aid kit. You do as she tells you to and wait patiently.

It's embarrassing, but on the other hand you truly feel safe and taken care of now. You feel loved but also guilty.

Your girlfriend stops the bleeding, disinfects everything and then bandages you. "You better now?" She asks with a warm smile. You smile back at her and nod. "Thank you! I really don't know what I'd do without you. Probably wouldn't even be here anymore.." you mumble the last part but she still hears you.

"Well, I'm glad you're here and many more surely are too!" She tries to convince you. You only nod again, keeping your eyes locked on the ground. "It's 4am now" Rhea says with a look at the watch. "We should get back to bed". She takes your hand and you stand up sighing.

Back in bed you snuggle really close to her, loving the warmth and the feeling of her skin against yours. "Thanks for making me feel loved" you whisper. "I'll do my best to keep that feeling" she replies and although neither of you can see it, you both fall back asleep with a smile on your face.

I have recently come to the conclusion that if my Genshin Impact account was self aware, my Bennet would be slightly even more unlucky than a regular Bennet. This is due to my birthday and since its coming up I've been brainrotting for the past few days. Let me explain:

Bennet's birthday is February 29th, aka Leap Year. This means Benny only has a real birthday once every four years, which is bad enough. But according to canonical game lore, when he doesn't have his actual birthday, he celebrates it on the 28th.

My birthday is February 28th.

Now, I'd like to think that in your typical SAGAU the creator's birthday is a BIG DEAL. I'm talking festivals, parades, feasts, gifts exchanged between friends and family as well as gifts offered to the creator! The whole nine yards! An entire world partying from sunrise to moonset.

So with this in mind, Bennet's birthday would either be celebrated the day after the biggest holiday party in Teyvat (meaning everyone who attends would be all partied out) or during my birthday (meaning that everyone would be focused on ME instead of Bennet, which is just unfair! He can't even take pride in being born the same day as the creator b/c he was born the day after!!!!).

Anyway, if I was isekai'd to Genshin and worshipped as a god, I would simply give Bennet his own holiday. Poor kiddo deserves a win and if it takes me telling my acolytes quote, "Everyone will to celebrate Bennet's holiday. No exceptions, no excuses. And if his holiday party doesn't end up a success, I will destroy all of Teyvat and then myself. :3c" then so be it. That last statement is a joke, but watching everyone try their absolute hardest to give my adopted little brother the best birthday possible would be worth the fear of the vague threat of the world's destruction in the eyes of my worshipers me thinks.

Bennett and Dalton are hanging out alone when Dalton has a shrinking spell. Good thing Bennett noticed what was happening.

“Yo, Dalton,” Bennett called from his spot on the couch. “Are you coming back or what?”

The pair had been watching a movie and eating ice cream, celebrating the end of final exams for both college students. It had been the most stressful week of Bennett’s life and he really needed time to just lay back and do nothing. He originally planned to have Rory and Dalton come over to his dorm to hang out, but his roommate, Josiah, was still not done with his exams and needed the space to study. Rory couldn’t come, either. She said she had a migraine and would rather die than leave her room. 

With Dalton being the only one of the group also finished with exams, he had invited Bennett to come over to his apartment. It had been just the two of them for a couple hours, but a few minutes ago Dalton had taken their empty bowls to the sink to be cleaned and had yet to return.

Bennett turned around on the couch to face the kitchen. “Dalton?”

He paused, listening for a response. Had he left the room?  There was a rattling from the kitchen that caught his attention, but Bennett thought nothing of it. 

“Dalton, dude, where’d you go?” More silence. “You’re missing the movie!”

There was a distinct noise coming from the kitchen that Bennett couldn’t place. He stood from the couch, stretching his arms over his head after having been lazing around for the past few hours.

The rattling from the kitchen grew more intense, and Bennett headed over to investigate with caution. Dalton’s phone was left by the sink, the drain plugged and filled with warm water. The rattling was coming from the dishes that were soaking in the water. 

Bennett’s eyes widened, putting two and two together. “Oh, shit. Dalton?”

Without a moment of hesitation, Bennett plunged his hands into the dirty dish water. He carefully removed the dishes in an effort to find wherever Dalton had managed to get trapped, and blindly slid his hands around in the water to see if he could feel Dalton’s body. 

“Oh, god, please don’t be dead. Please don’t be dead. Please don’t be dead.”

Eventually, Bennett’s hands found him, and he pulled Dalton out of the water and placed him carefully on the counter. He was small, only a couple of inches tall. He felt weightless in Bennett’s hands. So unbelievably fragile. Dalton immediately started hacking up water, turning over to cough it out of his lungs.

“Shit—are you okay?”

Dalton continued to cough, trembling as his arms shook to support his weight in an upright position. Bennett’s hands hovered uselessly over him, not sure what to do. 

“Dalton, buddy, oh my God. Talk to me. What do you need?” 

Dalton, instead of responding, just waved his arm up at Bennett as if shooing away his worries. He still did not turn around to look up at him, his breathing rapid as if he couldn’t catch his breath.

Bennett started opening drawers in the kitchen until he found a clean hand towel, and he carefully draped it over Dalton’s shoulders. Bennett watched as he wrapped it further around himself before he lowered himself to his knees to be more eye level with him. 

“You sure you’re alright, man?” Bennett cautiously asked, the concern in his voice still prominent.

Dalton nodded, his brown hair flat against his head. “I’m okay,” his quiet voice finally answered. “Just shaken up.”

Bennett couldn’t help the relieved sigh he released at hearing his friend’s voice. “Dude, I thought you had drowned.” 

“Sorry…”

There was an awkward bout of silence between them. 

Bennett had questions. What happened to trigger Dalton’s ability? How did he manage to fall into the sink? Instead of asking. however, he traced a careful finger along Dalton’s back, hoping to offer some comfort. 

Dalton flinched at the unexpected touch, sitting up straighter. 

“Do you have a change of clothes I can grab for you?” Bennett asked, “so you don’t have to sit in your wet ones?”

Dalton adjusted the towel wrapped around him, eyes trained on the sink to his left and trying to ignore the booming voice of his friend behind him. The wet fabric of his soaked clothing clung to his skin uncomfortably, but Dalton shook his head. “I usually don’t have to worry about clothes.”

Bennett wanted nothing to more than to make a joke about that, but he felt it wasn’t appropriate right now. He wished Rory were here, so he could whisper his joke to her, yes, but also because she was better at handling situations like this. Bennett seemed to always mess up when he was around Dalton. He didn’t know how to handle him when he was small. He didn’t know how to help.

Bennett stared at Dalton’s miniscule form, wrapped in the hand towel and shivering. He loomed over him, despite being knelt by the kitchen counter to avoid doing just that. 

“Dalton…” Bennett muttered, thrumming his fingers on the counter subconsciously. “What can I do to help you?”

Dalton still hadn’t looked at him. The realization was like a punch in the gut for Bennett, but he couldn’t blame him. He wouldn’t want to look up at someone bigger than a house either. The idea was terrifying. Still, it hurt that Bennett was the one who was causing this fear. 

Dalton shrugged his shoulders. The silence was so loud.

“Can I ask what happened?” Bennett questioned, eyes glancing over to Dalton’s phone. He could check himself; he had an inkling that the cause of Dalton’s distress had come from something he had seen. But Bennett figured it would be better for the both of them if Dalton just told him.

“I, uh, my final project just got graded,” Dalton answered. “Sat on the counter, saw the grade, got small, fell in the sink.”

Bennett grimaced. “You didn’t do too good?”

Dalton shook his head sadly.

“I—I’m sure it won’t affect your grade that much! And that number doesn’t define how good you are as an artist! It’s just a number at the end of the day.”

Dalton, for the first time, turned around to look at Bennett. His eyes were red with tears, his lips pressed into a thin line as if he were fighting back a sob. “You don’t understand,” Dalton said, voice strained. “My professor called my art lazy. And simple. She said she could tell I didn’t try my best and that I should be disappointed in myself for wasting my time as well as hers.”

Bennett knew that Dalton had tried his hardest on that piece. He had been working on it for over a month, staying up late at the studio nearly every night. To say his art was lazy was more than a slap to the face.

“Dude, I’m so sorry. She’s just an asshole.”

“An asshole that controls my grade.”

Dalton buried his face in his hands, the hand towel falling from his shoulders. He shivered.

Bennett gently placed the towel back over his shoulders before resting his hand palm up in front of Dalton. “Let’s go get you warmed up,” he suggested quietly. “And then we’ll figure this out.”

Dalton looked from the hand back up to Bennett’s brown eyes before sighing. He climbed onto his hand.

How Genshin's Characters would react to seeing your build

Character: Scaramouche/Wanderer, Albedo, Bennett, Heizou

A/n: Hello it's been a while, hope everyone is doing well. I'm really happy to see likes and reblogs on my last posts, it means a lot to me ❤️ My life is getting a bit overwhelming so It's harder to write anything recently. But writing about fictional characters like this brings comfort to me. Hope you enjoy this story.

Scaramouche/Wanderer

The last thing you have ever wanted to happen if you somehow, one day meet your favorite Genshin's character is for them to find out your build on them. It will be even worse if it's Scaramouche.

If you have a good build on him, a nice ratio, constellations, or his signature weapon, Scaramouche might appear fairly pleased. He will act unimpressed anyway. However, if Scaramouche is the only character or one of the few characters you had seriously invested in, he would definitely show off to other characters how obsessed you are with him.

Don't worry if you are a f2p player (just like me) because Scaramouche won't judge you, except when you have a bad build on him. Even though it's probably not your fault that Rukkhashava Mushroom is the worst to collect or your bad luck on artifacts, he will mock at you. As rude and mean as Scaramouche is, he won't let this slide. But he is also a cutie who has no idea how to comfort or encourage people, he will use his way to help you build him again.

Just in case you have c2 Raiden or a godly build on her, please try your best to hide it from him if you don't want this to become the fourth betrayal.

Heizou

After seeing all the five stars artifacts and best weapons on his build, the detective is just too stunned to speak. Although he would hardly say anything emotional to you, but deep down, he would feel sensational and grateful for how you did your best for him.

If you have an unfinished build on him because of those damn Onikabuto, he will give you a look of surprise and say something like "Onikabuto is everywhere in Inazuma Y/n". He just doesn't get it but he will help you at the end with his detective skills. He will charge you some mora thou.

If you have a godly build on him, Heizou will secretly admire how talent and hard-working you are. You might try to tell him that the only reason why you can build him so well is that he is already a strong character in the first place, but Heizou won't believe it since he's only a detective in lore. You suggest that the best way to prove it is to do a showcase and he reluctantly agrees with you. So you call Mona, Bennet, and other support characters to come to help you.

Heizou still happily does showcase with you, but little did he know, he'd better crit or he will have to do this a bunch of times.

Albedo

As gentlemanly as he is, Albedo would never judge you, especially when he understands all the uphill struggles you have to face if you want to build him well.

Albedo would not hesitate to shower you with compliments if you have a good build for him no matter which build it is (support, dps, sup-dps, or even a healer). He would likely praise you for the smallest thing, a max-level talent, a great piece of artifact, a high-level weapon, or a good team composition. In Albedo's eyes, you are nothing different from a real scientist or a researcher because of the way you calculated to balance all his statistics. Just tell him your difficulties, and Albedo will sit down and seriously discuss it with you.

If your build is unfinished or you don't have a good artifact set yet, he will help you in the domain. Albedo would try to calculate the artifact drop rate or even the weapon banners' rate to help your bad luck.

Bennett

Bennett will be in disbelief when he realizes he is in most of your team compositions, especially damage showcase teams. "Y-you want me in your team?" He says.

He would likely to get extremely emotional if you give him 4 pieces of Nobeless Oblige artifact. He might feel he doesn't deserve all those five stars artifacts and weapons, or worry his bad luck will affect your team, but you are quick to reassure Bennett. You claim that Bennett is the character that actually carried you when you were still a newbie to this game and how Bennett keeps your team surviving in the Abyss.

He would not mind if you merely build him with four stars artifacts or a low-level weapon. If you ask for his help, he will be even more than willing to be your companion. Although it could be a pretty tough journey since you guys both have bad lucks.

Day 3 - Cuddles

It rarely snowed in Mondstadt, unless someone wanted to include the Cryo Regisvine and Dragonspine as tourist attractions. Nonetheless, there are days when the wind can be nippy and the ground grumpy and brittle. Some Mondstadters say it means Barbatos is warning them that the crops must be rotated. After all, planting grapes for wine over and over will ruin the land. Alas, on the days that are this abrasive, the boars are easier to catch. Everything is less nomadic in the cold.

“Brr…it sure is a bit chilly…huh, Razor?”

The wolf boy nods, “yes. Today is cold. Cold give more meat.”

“Why is that?”

“People cold stay inside. Animals cold huddle together.”

“So…more boars will be huddled in groups rather than scattered around in a field?”

“Yes.”

“Hehe, nice! Where do we look first?”

“I lead, you follow.”

“Alrighty!”

Razor continues down the trail as his friend follows.

“Bennett,” Razor says, “you seem cold.”

Bennett smiles dismissively, “well, it’s a bit windy and stuff, but don’t you worry.”

“No, teacher says we can catch a…cold.”

“Oh, yeah, I guess if you get too cold, yeah you can get sick.”

“I have an idea to help.”

“Oh? Whatcha got in mind?”

Razor takes Bennett’s hand and leads him to the ring where Boreas resides. Instead of going into the arena, the wolf boy leads the adventurer to the large fallen tree trunk off to the side of it.

“Here,” says Razor, “lupical rests.”

“Wow…it’s very spacious!”

“The tree blocks the wind- cold wind- and rain. It helps keep warm.”

“Hehe, that’s cool.”

Razor sits down on the ground, patting the spot next to him for Bennett to join him. Bennett sits beside Razor and the wolf boy nuzzles into Bennett’s chest, trying to use the friction and body heat to keep his friend warm.

Bennett giggles, putting his hands on Razor’s shoulder, “hey- hehe- Razor! That tickles!”

“Snuggle gives warmth, no tickles, Bennett.”

Bennett falls back, laying down on the ground as Razor continues to snuggle his head into the adventurer’s chest.

Razor wasn’t wrong though…to a point. It did help keep Bennett warm, but the feeling of Razor’s coarse hair on his clavicle had the dexterity of a claw with the flexibility of a feather.

Razor stops for a moment, “lupical does this to stay warm. Is it working?”

Bennett nods, “well…yes…I do feel less cold, actually…”

“Is it time to continue the hunt?”

“Well- I mean…I am quite comfortable, uh- aren’t you?”

Razor tilts his head, “mm…yes.”

“So…can we just y’know stay until it warms up, then?”

“Hm? Does that mean you are still catching a cold?”

“No, it’s just I wouldn’t mind staying here for a bit longer- hahahaha!”

Razor starts snuggling Bennett again, “lupical is stronger than the cold!”

Even if it meant the hunt would wait, Razor wanted to make sure his friend was safe and healthy. After all, lupical is family.

Genshin happens to be a franchise that I'm familiar with but I have never played (some people I know made me wary of starting the game sadly, though the music and the graphics are definitely beautiful). Honestly they probably thought you were an easy target because you seemed so...naive. You were smiling through Vil scolding you're rugged uniform, you didn't flinch when Leona threatened to rip you to shreds (you ended up touching his ears instead :/), etc. But they were wrong, oh so wrong.

You told them it was fine, saying it was a way for you to grow as a person. For that, Azul thought you were too good for him to make a contract with haha

Jack and you are probably best friends, both into athletics but also, in some ways, very down-to-earth. Ace and Deuce like you a lot as well, mainly because you get them out of trouble from Riddle haha

Overall, I can't see anyone making fun of you or treating you badly because, well, what isn't there to like? People though that Vil would be annoyed with you, but he wasn't. Sure, he wants you to take care of your appearance a bit more rather than leaving bruises uncared for, but he likes your grit.

genshin guys as figure skaters (& more) at the rink part 1:

disclaimer: all headcanons inspired by my own experiences as a former figure skater! honestly this started as just a "genshin tall guys as figure skaters" hc but then I added xiao and it just snowballed from there. there will be headcanons for the girls if there's interest!!

aether:

dain's student. late starter but seems to have a knack for skating. moving up pretty fast. just started nilou's ballet classes. actually pretty good at spins & quite flexible too.

albedo:

former competitive figure skater but mostly coaches now. does both Learn to Skate & private coaching. v patient & understanding. great with encouraging the more shy & hesitant kids.

alhaitham:

skating judge. only around for competitions & testing. hella intimidating. leaves v terse comments on tests. somehow, they're not as blunt as he looks. probably went to Worlds in his time.

ayato & ayaka:

extremely good pair skaters. everyone is in awe & lowkey fear of them whenever they're on the ice bc they're so focused & extremely fast. ayaka is super sweet off ice tho & besties with nilou. ayato has all the beginner skaters hanging over the boards wishing he was their partner instead.

baizhu:

medic. often gone on sick leave but always around for competitions. always has a cardigan on bc the building is hella cold, even in the lobby outside the rink. v kind but hopes no one will get injured so that there would be no need for him.

bennett:

in Learn to Skate. honestly probably shouldn't be on the ice but is trying his best. kaeya especially looks out for him. always encouraging the little kids & keeps a positive attitude.

chongyun:

just graduated to the freestyle ice!! unfortunately everyone there is extremely fast and scary. hugs the wall for dear life every time one (or two, in the case of our pair skaters) speeds by. actually started skating bc of his aunt shenhe, who used to figure skate. also takes nilou's classes.

cyno:

one of the guys working at the rink stores. usually the hockey store but occasionally the figure skating one as well. sharpens skates. will yell his bad dad jokes at people from across the lobby just to embarrass them (or maybe himself). also the guy jokingly twirling around & copying the ballet class outside their open door while they're practicing. actually surprisingly good at it.

dain:

serious af coach from Scandinavia or Russia or somewhere in Eastern Europe (no one knows). coached multiple Olympians in the past but has no current ones. scary af. only the really intense parents (the ones living vicariously through their kid) attempt to recruit as their child's coach. best of luck to them, since he only invites his students.

diluc:

arrives later & leaves earlier than kaeya (they drive separately). doesn't skate as often as his brother but has impeccable technique nevertheless. v consistent jumps. puts his waterbottle on whichever side of the boards that kaeya's isn't on. kaeya will move his own waterbottle over just to mess with him. iconic move is a beautiful spread eagle.

heizou:

that one guy from another rink who randomly shows up whenever his rink is closed for maintenance. still knows everyone despite not being a regular. super fun programs & does a lot of showcases.

itto:

hockey player. duh. did you think this guy figure skates. the little kids love him tho. probably the guy they call in for birthday parties.

I need you to know that I had a dream about going to have a picnic with Childe but I got to the Picnic Spot and FL was just chilling there so I got to have a picnic with the Moth (and then we found Bennett just. about in Liyue because he got lost so my brain is keeping him in character I suppose) BUT anyways now I’ve got Moth Picnic on my mind and I simply wanted to share

oh this is perfect actually, ever since the Gratifying Gathering web event i've been obsessed with thinking about moth with flower crowns

imagine that the picnic is a little get-together that Childe organizes after being away on a mission for a while- it's only natural that you'd spend some time apart, since he's from Snezhnaya and you're from Liyue, and you usually keep in touch via letters and small gifts that you send each other. it hurts to be away from him, but you and Childe have both accepted it as part of life, promising to cherish the time you do have together even more

but Foul Legacy hasn't accepted it. why should he? you're the love and light of his life, too, yet Childe insists on running back to Snezhnaya for some mission or another. it's cold there!! too cold, away from the warmth of your embrace, and Foul Legacy hates it

that's why when you do arrive at the location of the picnic, you find Legacy waiting for you instead of Childe, his crystalline eye brightening with a happy trill. he quickly pulls you onto his lap, snuggling his face into the crook of your neck as you scritch behind his horns. there's fruit and pastries in the basket nearby, and as you munch on them you idly weave a few flowers into a crown, gesturing for Foul Legacy to lean down. you put the crown on his head, smiling when he starts to purr, and with all the care in the world he plucks a flower from the ground and tucks it behind your ear

the sun begins to set, casting a warm glow over you and your beloved Abyssal monster as you lean against each other contently <33
