My curly hair routine
I have a long, naturally curly hair which requires a lot of care. I usually wash my hair twice a week, and it takes about two hours.
Firstly I don’t do anything special, wash my hair with silicone free shampoo twice then I rinse it out. After I put a big amount of silicone free conditioner and leave it in my hair for about 10 minutes. I rinse it out too and the fun part begins.
On weekdays I don’t comb my hair, because it’s the first rule if you have curly hair that you mustn’t comb your hair when it’s dry. So before I start to comb my hair, I put some oil to the ends in order to prevent them from breakage. Combing my hair lasts for a lifetime and hurt so bad, especially if I washed my hair more than 4-5 days ago.
After I finish it, a shake my head because this method my natural curls get back their original shape and be more defined. After shaking well, I put some hair cream in my hair, but I avoid the roots, because if the product get there, my hair will be easily oily. Then the next step is the mousse. This is the most important to my hair, because with the help of the mousse my curls get more defined, stronger, prettier and it helps to maintain this situation for days.
Then I take my diffuser and dry my hair. I don’t use a normal hairdryer because that would destroy my natural volume and natural shape of the curls. Drying my hair takes usually 45-50 minutes till every part will be dry.
After this whole suffering I can enjoy my hair for maximum 2 days, because my roots became oily and I put my hair into a bun. AAAAAAAfter, I can start everything from the beginning. However, I have to deal with it a lot, I would say worth it, because I love my hair, it’s my jewelry, I feel more special with it, especially among girls who have straight hair.
