it was the first river to cross on your journey, but the cost of the ferry was too out of your budget. instead, you were left with caulking your wagon in order to cross. the oxen made it across just fine, but now it came your turn. it was about halfway through the river, that your wagon capsized and pinned you to the bottom of it.

So here is the thing guys and gals. Over these past few weeks while I've been away I've been thinking this blog over and what I wanted to really do with it and I decided on a few things.

First I have moved all of my Red Dead Redemption muses to their own blog which can be found here ... beloyaltowhatmatters

Secondly, I have moved all of my Lost Boys Characters, all of my OC characters, and Supernatural Characters ( Because they were all Lost Boys based ) to their own blog which can be found here ... wickedanddeadly

Thirdly this means the only muses that remain on this blog are Buffy Summers, Faith Lehane, Daenerys Targaryen, Sookie Stackhouse, Pam Swynford De Beaufort, Hayley Marshall, Caroline Forbes, and Joanna Harvelle.

Do as you will with this information.

Will Arthur be constantly changing hats or will he stick to only one that’s comfortable in Sunrise? Imo a flat shaped hat isn’t really his style so what do you feel is his best choice aside from his original one? Also will he be getting back his original hat when he reunite with John or will he let him keep it?

I imagine given this man is also super loyal to hats (#BeLoyalToWhatMatters) that he’ll probably find one he likes and stick to it pretty hard.  Likely something fairly similar to his old one--wide brimmed, dark, etc.  He’s pretty practical when it comes to hats.  It wouldn’t surprise me to see him end up with another gambler-style hat.  It’s comfortable and familiar.Interesting question on the hat in 1907.  I think John will definitely try to give it back, and Arthur likely will accept it, but it doesn’t mean the same thing it did to him as a younger man.  He wore it all those years as a sort of double-edged sword to remind himself to not pretend he was anything but a bad man, but that he could be far worse--unlike his father, he had limits, rules, and some sense of honor.  That there were, as he says, lines that couldn’t be crossed.  But in 1899 those lines all got crossed anyway, and he’s had to challenge that perception of himself as being his father’s son, doomed to be bad.  He started to make his own way by the end of the game.  By 1907 he’ll have made his own path and become his own man, so whatever emotional significance he gives that hat then, it’ll be different from the meaning he gave it back in 1899.  It’s his own life and legacy he’s living now, not Lyle or Dutch’s.
